Eruption gets out of the starting blocks with a win, beating The 37KAMIINA. The big blow came when Kazusada Higuchi Choke Slammed Konosuke Takeshita through a table outside the ring. That left Shunma Katsumata to survive by himself until Takeshita recovered and came to the rescue. Together they hit the MADMAX on Yukio Sakaguchi but he couldn’t be pinned because he wasn’t the legal man. That mistake allowed Higuchi to smash through Takeshita and pin Katsumata with the Brain Claw Slam. Eruption made it clear that they’re going after the top spot of the Ultimate Tag League!
But for now the top spot belongs to DAMNATION after they knocked The Iyasareru down a peg. Antonio Honda tried to distract Daisuke Sasaki & Yuji Hino by telling a Gongitsune joke about the Monster Army, the unit that all three were a part of around 8 years ago. That pause allowed Chris Brookes to get some shots in and Honda went to complete the deal. It didn’t work out though because Sasaki blocked the Diving Fist Drop and rolled Honda into the Crossover Facelock to make him submit.
