3. Junta Miyawaki Three Match Trial – Match 2: Junta Miyawaki defeated Kazuki Hirata with a School Boy (10:56).
4. MAO & Yukio Naya (w/ KIMIHIRO) defeated Jun Akiyama & Tomomitsu Matsunaga when MAO pinned Matsunaga after the Charge Love Heart (9:43).
5. Special Single Match: Shinya Aoki defeated Viento Maligno with a Modified Butterfly Lock (11:25).
6. Special 8-Man Tag Match: Chris Brookes, HARASHIMA, Antonio Honda & Hinata Kasai defeated Daichi Sato, To-y, Yuni & Yuki Ishida when Honda pinned Yuni with a Samson Clutch (19:36).

It turns out there was more background to the Shinya Aoki Vs Viento Maligno match than I first thought. Before the King Of DDT tournament began, Aoki allegedly made a prediction that Maligno would unmask and compete in Best Of The Super Jr. so both of them could have a match between tournament winners. Aoki lived up to his end of the idea which is why after he won King Of DDT he called out Maligno and told him everybody knows what he is doing. They had a match today where Maligno tried to counter the Aoki Clutch but Aoki switched over to a Modified Butterfly Lock to make the luchador give up. He then ripped the mask off Maligno’s face to reveal it was Keigo Nakamura the whole time! Nakamura admitted his real identity and explained that he couldn’t adapt to wrestling in Mexico during his excursion. Even now he does not know who he is and his confidence has disappeared after he saw how all of his juniors have surpassed him. However he still gets support from everybody in Strange Love Connection and he wants to become stronger by being with them. Aoki asked him what will he do from now on and who does he want to fight? Nakamura put the mask back on and will continue to wrestle as Viento Maligno because he’s hit rock bottom has nothing else to lose.

The opening match was officially Sanshiro Takagi’s return to action in DDT (as long as you ignore Super Japan). He feels so reenergised from his time off that he asked for the match to be Best 2 Out Of 3 Falls with no time limit applied. The 37KAMIINA agreed and quickly tried to injure him again. However he blocked Shunma Katsumata’s Totonou Splash and then Cradled him to win the first fall. He then declared the 2nd Fall would be Falls Count Anywhere. For the next two hours Takagi, Akito, Yuki Ueno and Katsumata brawled all over Shinjuku FACE and even outside on the street. Since the action was happening away from ringside, DDT decided to go on with the show and it wasn’t until the very end when the opening match returned to the ring and Takagi pinned Katsumata again to win the match in two straight falls.

Takagi said this comeback could not have been possible if it wasn’t for the other wrestlers in the match and he is feeling super pumped about winning. He’s been cheating on DDT a little bit with Super Japan but he thinks DDT is the best and he is super motivated to wrestle here again. There is one guy in particular he wants to wrestle again to reignite his passion even more. It is MAO, who he hasn’t fought against one on one since 2019 in New York! He challenged MAO to a singles match on 28th June. MAO agreed and blamed Takagi for making him the wrestler he is today. So all of the times he tried to run Takagi over with a car is really Takagi’s fault.

Junta Miyawaki’s trial through DDT’s roster is going well with two wins out of two matches so far. He fought and danced with Kazuki Hirata until Hirata was too spent to continue. Before he could be beaten, Hirata got on the microphone and reminisced about the times back when Miyawaki was a NOAH trainee when they would hang out and eat meals together. He couldn’t continue so he asked Miyawaki to complete the dance by himself but it was only so Hirata could roll him up for a nearfall. Miyawaki countered by putting the Hirata GO! glasses on Hirata’s face, forcing him to dance and be vulnerable to be pinned with a School Boy. Afterwards Miyawaki was informed by Hisaya Imabayashi that the third and final match of his trial will happen on 10th June. It will be against Danshoku Dieno! With that announcement, Dieno entered the ring carrying his pet dog Haku in a protective bag. Miyawaki asked if this is a mistake because Dieno is tougher than any other opponent he could imagine. He promised to give it his all becaue this is a once in a lifetime match for him.

A win in the 3 Way Trios match prompted DAMNATION T.A to challenge paleyouth for the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles afterward. Ilusion said his unit is filled with belt collectors and if they take those titles from paleyouth they would then have 10 belts in their collection (DDT Extreme Title with Hideki Okatani, O-40 Title with Daisuke Sasaki and the group has the KO-D 10-Man Tag Team Titles which currently makes seven). Ilusion said the challenging team will be himself, MJ Paul and Sasaki once he comes back from New Japan. The challenge was accepted and will take place on 21st June in Nagoya. Ilusion later made fun of paleyouth being full of old people because only Daichi Sato is younger than him. Takeshi Masada & Yuya Koroku didn’t appreciate being Ilusion calling them old geezers.

A contract signing for the KO-D Tag Team Titles match between FANTÔMES DRAMATIC and The 37KAMIINA took place at the start of the show. One of the challengers To-y unexpectedly announced he is from the future where he wins the title with Yuki Ueno and builds a castle as the Prince Of Nagoya. Chris Brookes lost his patience and kept rushing To-y to finish up his story so the show could continue. To-y ignored him and tried to get Ueno to play along that they are the champions from the future and it is they who are defending the belts instead of Brookes & HARASHIMA. Both Ueno and HARASHIMA tried to keep things on track but Brookes is clearly becoming fed up with To-y’s quirky personality.

4. Yumehito Imanari, Shinichiro Tominaga & Shigehiro Irie defeated Shuichiro Katsumura, Minoru Fujita & Gouma Ryu when Tominaga pinned Ryu with a Moonsault Press (16:18).
5. Spirit Of Ganbare World Tag Team Titles: Takuya Wada & Tyson Maeguchi (c) defeated Akira Shoji & Hideki “Shrek” Sekine when Maeguchi pinned Shoji with the Kaibutsu Goroshi (13:28).
*V1 for The Deadlock.

Pride FC nostalgia can only take you so far these days and that kind of fighting spirit wasn’t enough to beat The Deadlock today. Hideki Sekine used his size and weight to throw the champions around but after he gave Takuya Wada a German Suplex, Tyson Maeguchi knocked him back with a Lariat. Maeguchi then avoided a Brainbuster from Akira Shoji and broke him down with knee strikes and kicks until a strong Middle Kick kept him down for the three count. The two teams shook hands afterwards and Maeguchi began asking if they could make a title challenge of his own? He called out Mizuki Watase and asked him for a match with the Spirit Of Ganbare World Title on the line. Then after that Watase can bring in a tag partner for a shot at the Spirit Of Ganbare World Tag Team Titles later down the line. Michiyoshi Mishima said he can book the SOG Title match first for 14th June. Backstage Watase said he might choose Shigehiro Irie as his partner because they already held the SOG Tag Titles together before. But he could go another direction and pick either Jun Kasai or even Rukiya instead.

Had things turned out differently during the show, Watase would have had a different opponent for his next title defence. Munetatsu Nakamura tried to approach him before their tag match began but Shota Kawakami cut him off. Nakamura ended up beating him using an Arm Clutch Belly-To-Belly Suplex called the Octopus Killer. That turned out to be a fitting name because Mishima then announced that Nakamura will be facing Chris Brookes at the 15th August Korakuen Hall show! Nakamura told the fans his history with Brookes from being a fan of his into becoming his friend. Brookes has done so much to help Nakamura out when he was injured including partially paying for his medical treatment. Nakamura asked Mishima to make this match happen on a Ganbare☆Pro because he thinks the best way of paying Brookes back is to beat him in a wrestling match.

5. FANTÔMES DRAMATIC Vs STRANGE LOVE CONNECTION!: Chris Brookes, HARASHIMA & Antonio Honda defeated KANON, Yukio Naya & Viento Maligno (w/ KIMIHIRO & YUZUKI) when Brookes pinned Maligno with the Praying Mantis Bomb (12:08).
6. KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles: Takeshi Masada, Yuya Koroku & Daichi Sato (c) defeated Shunma Katsumata, Yuni & Kazuma Sumi when Masada pinned Yuni with the Masada No Chikara KOBU Mukimuki (14:56).
*V4 for paleyouth.
7. King Of DDT – Final: Shinya Aoki defeated MAO with the Aoki Clutch (17:20).

Shinya Aoki can now add his name to the list of quite frankly eccentric list of names to have won the King Of DDT tournament! His fighting style proved to be the most dominant throughout the bracket and tempted MAO into playing Aoki’s gameplan instead of his own in the final. Aoki then pulled out something different by using a Spinning Headscissors to throw MAO out of the ring so he could follow up with the Topé Suicida. MAO tried rolling up Aoki into cradles like the Japanese Leg Roll and the Crucifix Pin but that backfired big time when Aoki caught him in the Aoki Clutch, getting the three count and crowning himself the tournament winner.

As Aoki was receiving his trophy he started calling out to an unexpected member of Strange Love Connection. Aoki yelled at Viento Maligno to get in the ring and stop his nonsense because everybody knows what he’s doing… Maligno simply made a big “Wooooo” noise into the microphone before rejoining SLC and walking back to the locker room with them. Due to this interaction taking place, DDT later decided to book a singles match between Aoki and Maligno for 3rd June at Shinjuku FACE.

Aoki then declared his challenge to Yuki Ueno for the KO-D Openweight Title. He likes Aoki and said he is like family to him. But the more Aoki likes his opponent, the more power he unleashes on that person so he asked Ueno to be the very best he’ll ever be for the title match. The match is made for 28th June and Aoki promised to live his life to the fullest until then so he can beat Ueno. The champion remembers losing the KO-D Title to Aoki back in 2024 and does not want to repeat that. He is going to give his friend so much in the match that Aoki won’t be able to handle it!

MAO’s place in the semi final was secured when he defeated Danshoku Dieno earlier in the show. Dieno unleashed his full Danshoku power early but MAO expertly countered the attack by Kancho poking him up the backside. MAO then fought fire with fire by using the Lip Lock until Dieno overpowered him with the same move. The Danshoku Claw to the crotch couldn’t hold MAO back forever and he kept fighting even when the back of his tights were pulled down by Dieno for pinning leverage. A number of different strikes from MAO took their toll on Dieno and he was put down with the Iai Kick, bringing his spirited tournament run to an end.

The last time Aoki fought Minoru Suzuki in DDT, the DDT Universal Title was on the line and Suzuku pummeled his opponent into a KO victory. The rematch here was more grapple heavy this time with Suzuki and Aoki trying to bend whatever part of the opponent’s body they could grab onto. Suzuki avoided the Aoki Clutch but that isn’t the only move in Aoki’s arsenal. He switched over to a Modified Armbar that then turned into the European Clutch that kept Suzuki pinned down for the victory!

It was Yuni’s time to step up and do his part to make NωA Jr. the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Champions again. paleyouth didn’t see things that way because they still have things to do as champions, things that NωA Jr. couldn’t even scratch when they last held the belts. The challengers almost overwhelmed Takeshi Masada with their numbers. He was able to German Suplex Shunma Katsumata away but took a Canadian Destroyer from Kazuma Sumi and then the Messiah DDT from Yuni. Masada brought things to a halt for Yuni by giving him a Middle Kick and planting him with the Masada No Chikara KOBU Mukimuki to retain the titles. After the match Daichi Sato said he was happy to have a tough title match with Yuni because they are near the same age. Yuya Koroku called Yuni a brat but also admitted he has incredible determination. paleyouth then said they are two defences away from tying the record for most KO-D 6-Man Tag Title defences and three more away from breaking it. Backstage Katsumata talked about how Yuni struggles the most out of D GENERATIONS because everyone else has achieved their own thing while he was focused on his university exams. He hopes today will be a turning point for Yuni because he can offer something unique to DDT just like how everyone else has their own thing.

The addition of YUZUKI to SLC hasn’t instantly paid off with success yet. She assisted the team by attacking Antonio Honda with a whip after he got sent outside the ring. Honda deserved it for being rude towards Maligno at the start of the match. He loudly shouted “Who are you?” while fighting him. HARASHIMA and Yukio Naya fought to a stalemate so Honda tagged in. He then tripped and tried to tell a story about his town being filled with kids who ring doorbells in the middle of the night and run away before he can answer them. KANON then blocked the Gongitsune attack and redirected Honda into striking his own partners. Chris Brookes saved Honda from being pinned by throwing a towel at Maligno and ended up pinning Maligno himself by using the Praying Mantis Bomb.

Kaisei Takechi’s big return from appendicitis ended right when it started. Yuki Ueno immediately threw To-y out of the ring and made Kazuki Hirata tap out to a Crab Hold without Takechi needing to do anything. Hisaya Imabayashi blew a gasket because the big star’s return was ruined. Takechi calmed things down by saying everyone in DDT is a star, including Hirata because of his dance skills. Takechi then encouraged everyone to restart the match so Hirata can show why he shouldn’t be giving up so easily. Imabayashi was touched by Takechi’s humility and allowed the match to restart. This time To-y & Hirata both put on a better fight together and Takechi got to dance with Hirata despite Ueno’s hatred of it. Ueno was briefly knocked out by his own partner so the dance could go ahead. Hirata tried to sneak attack Takechi during the dance but paid for it by taking the BREAK IT DOWN and take the losing fall again.

After the match Takechi told the fans he had to miss the King Of DDT tournament due to his illness so he is going to clear his schedule, get into shape and work hard so he will get to take part in it next year. Ueno then announced he will be holding a show at Korakuen Hall on 13th September to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of his debut. He promised to show everyone the DDT he’s been able to cultivate over the last 10 years. Takechi asked to be a part of it so Ueno is thinking about making him team up with Hirata. As for Ueno himself, he later brought up wanting to have a match against Katsumata on the show.

Momentum is looking to be on Junta Miyawaki’s side as he heads toward his DDT Extreme Title challenge against Hidaki Okatani. The heavy threat of MJ Paul was extinguished by Naomi Yoshimura and Miyawaki ducked under a bamboo stick swing, causing Okatani to hit Ilusion over the head instead. With Jun Akiyama’s help, Miyawaki gave Okatani a Swinging DDT before pinning Ilusion with the Sunshine Driver.

The dark match was changed on short notice because Rukiya’s neck is acting up and he wasn’t able to wrestle today. Akito took his place and teamed up with Hinata Kasai in a losing effort against Tomomitsu Matsunaga & Yuki Ishida. Kasai came close to winning but was stunned by Ishida’s Flame Palm and was then pinned with the Leg Scoop Suplex.

For the third time in weeks, Super Sasadango Machine approached Dieno asking him to be part of his team for the DDT Vs New Japan show happening in one week’s time. He met him in the ring at the end of the show, pointing out that King Of DDT is now finished and Dieno should now be completely free to help Sasadango out. If Dieno refused then Sasadango would do the unspeakable and reveal to everyone Dieno’s shoot name! Dieno’s response is it’s not the right time for him to do Sasadango’s show because the World Cup begins three days afterwards. Dieno wants to watch all of the late night games coming up so he needs the few days before that to save up on his sleeping habits. Sasadango begun to cry because he couldn’t believe Dieno would sit by and watch his beloved DDT get trampled by New Japan. As much as the show is being built around friendly competition, it is really a war that DDT cannot afford to lose! He threatened to bring Dieno to court where his real name would be exposed but Dieno told him to calm down so they can talk again later.

There is currently a brief break for the Best Of The Super Jr. tournament so Daisuke Sasaki was in attendance for today’s show. He was too embarrassed to talk because he currently has a losing record so he whispered his message into Imabayashi’s ear. Imabayashi encouraged Sasaki not to give up because he still has a chance to win his block if he wins his remaining matches. The GM then revealed one of Sasaki’s opponents for his tag match happening at “WRESTLE PETER PAN 2026” on 11th August. It’s Antonio Honda! Imabayashi then revealed that DDT has not made a decision for who Sasaki or Honda’s tag partners will be. Instead it will be up to them to look into their connections and decide for themselves. Since DDT is holding a competition for fans to guess what the match is, Honda said he is going to pick someone who will surprise everybody. Sasaki on the other hand said his pick won’t surprise anyone.

Soma Takao announced his return match will happen on 28th June. He has been on the shelf with a left knee injury since January and is thrilled to be making his comeback soon. He said there are quite a few new DDT fans who only know him as the manager of the Dropkick Bar so he is excited for them to see him wrestle for the first time.

DDT will be holding a pro wrestling event attached to the Kumagawa Railway in Kumamoto on 22nd November. The Kumagawa Railway has been under repairs due to storm damage ever since the summer of 2020. This year those repairs will be completed and it is scheduled to finally reopen this September. DDT is celebrating the occasion by holding two matches to take place inside the train along with an actual wrestling show taking place at the journey’s destination Yunomae Station.

2. 3 Way Match: Sakura Hattori defeated Mifu Ashida and Ren Konatsu when Hattori pinned Konatsu with a School Boy (7:59).
3. Raku & Pom Harajuku defeated Hyper Misao & Kira Summer when Harajuku pinned Summer with the Pom de Justice (11:09).

5. Miyu Yamashita & Toga defeated Shoko Nakajima & Wakana Uehara when Toga pinned Uehara with the Absolute Zero (12:36).
6. Yuki Arai, Miu Watanabe, Rika Tatsumi & Suzume defeated Yuki Kamifuku, Mizuki, Uta Takami & Mahiro Kiryu when Tatsumi submitted Takami with the White Dragon Sleeper (16:28).

The rematch from last week has gone to the champions this time. Suzume caught Mahiro Kiryu with the Ring A Bell, Yuki Arai used her Modified Brainbuster to deal with Yuki Kamifuku and Daydream finished off both Mizuki & Uta Takami. Takami was hit with the Running Hip and Miu Watanabe then joined Rika Tatsumi to give Mizuki the Daydream Eternity. Takami made the fatal mistake of charging towards Tatsumi after that because Tatsumi grabbed her into the White Dragon Sleeper to get the win. Tatsumi said it felt great to win the match and she hopes the result leaves everyone on the challenger team feeling disheartened. Watanabe wanted much more action today so she is looking forward to the Korakuen Hall show. Arai thinks she wasn’t able to kick Kamifuku nearly enough so she promised to kick her face off at Korakuen on 7th June. Suzume wants everyone on the champion team to regroup after that show so they can all stand together as champions again. Backstage Tatsumi was pleased to have taken down the “Koala Alien” today but she will also have to beat Mizuki too in order to free her from Takami’s “brainwashing”. Kiryu described Suzume as being in super battle mode, ready to sting her at any moment.

With their singles match coming up on 7th June, Wakana Uehara and Toga were primarily focused on trying to beat each other in their tag match. Uehara countered the Absolute Zero into a Jackknife Pin but it only got her a nearfall. Toga did one better by countering the Sushi Tornado into the Absolute Zero, dishing out enough damage to pin Uehara for the three count. Uehara said she lost the tag match today but she won’t lose to Toga in a singles match. Toga pointed out today is the first time she defeated Uehara under her own power, although it was still part of a tag match. Next time when it’s one on one she is going for the complete victory. She expects Uehara to come up with more counters after today just like Toga is preparing more for her.

Kira Summer deciding to become a superhero just like Hyper Misao wasn’t interesting enough to keep Raku & Pom Harajuku’s attention. The two of them snuck off up to the balcony while Misao introduced Summer wearing her own hero costume (wearing an eye mask and using the Australian flag as her cape). The two heroes followed their opponents up to the balcony where they got trapped under a banner and almost counted out of the match. They got back to the ring in time but Harajuku then stole Misao’s cape so she too pretended to be a superhero. Misao got it back by spraying Harajuku in the face. Raku stopped Misao from doing the I Am A Hero, allowing Harajuku to pin Summer with the Pom de Justice.

*V3 for Aijin Tag.
6. Union MAX Title: Shuji Ishikawa (c) defeated SAGAT with the Running Knee Lift (14:24).
*V4 for Shuji Ishikawa.

With another Union MAX Title defence under his belt, Shuji Ishikawa is finding more wrestlers coming forward to challenge him. SAGAT asked if he could get a rematch soon but Ishikawa told him it is way too soon for him to get another title match. Lil’ Kraken then declared himself the next challenger only for Isami Kodaka to knock him out mid-sentence. Ishikawa then found himself surrounded by five wrestlers: Daichi Kazato, Ryota Nakatsu, Daiki Shimomura, Takumi Tsukamoto and FUMA. Ishikawa joked about being popular lately and wishing the five men were five women instead. He told the group to decide among themselves who the next challenger will be because there are too many of them for him to take on all at once and he only wants to fight the strongest one. They all left to allow Ishikawa to end the show by himself. He talked about being able to hold the MAX Title he was never able to win when Union Pro existed. He will continue to beat strong challengers and continue being the champion for the next ten years until he turns 60!

Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi approached Aijin Tag after the Iron Fist Tag Team Titles claiming to have a message from Ayumu Honda. According to Hiroshi, Honda called Aijin Tag a third rate tag team who are not worthy of being champions. Judo is the national sport of Japan so Hiroshi & Honda want to challenge Aijin Tag for the tag titles on 9th June! Hiroshi added that the Iron Fist Tag Title belts would look better next to Honda’s black belt. Takato Nakano & Masato Kamino both admitted to feeling banged up after fighting Fujita Pro Wrestling School. Their knees in particular were targeted by the challengers but they’re certain they will be in good shape for the next defence. Yasu Urano called the result a fluke and if the two teams fought each other another ten times, he and Minoru Fujita would win all of those ten matches.

Seiya Morohashi attacked FUMA during his entrance and they brawled around ringside. When they got into the ring and the match officially began, FUMA quickly caught Morohashi in an Armbar to win by submission. Morohashi demanded a rematch but only got it after he gave FUMA a dogeza style apology. Morohashi quickly lost his temper again but the rematch went ahead without controversy and FUMA made him tap to another Armbar. The two bowed to each other after the match and shook hands. They were also complimentary towards each other in their post-match interviews backstage until Morohashi handled FUMA’s deer hide jacket too hard.

5. Special Tag Match: Satoshi Kojima & Ippanjin Munenori Sawa defeated Brahman Shu & Brahman Kei when Kojima pinned Kei with the Lariat (14:07).
6. Special Tag Match: “Blue Hebi Justice” Yuji Jagata & CIMA defeated Sanshiro Takagi & Poison Sawada JULIE when CIMA pinned Takagi with the Meteora (12:16).

On the day when New Japan changed ownership and created a shift in power across the pro wrestling scene, Super Japan went ahead and held their latest show with Yuji Nagata getting caught up in DDT hijinks. At the start of the show Nagata joined Sanshiro Takagi and advisor Masayuki Uchida to celebrate the fan voted continuation of Super Japan with a toast of energy drinks. However when they all drank it, Poison Sawada JULIE came out and revealed he swapped out Nagata’s drink with an extract of snake magic! Nagata collapsed in the ring and was taken back to the locker room to get help while Takagi suddenly wrapped up Uchida in tape and kidnapped him under JULIE’s orders!

It was all going according to plan for JULIE. He formed a new alliance with Takagi after being enemies with him in DDT for years and now had Nagata under his control. CIMA had to fight all three of them by himself in the main event with Nagata having fully transformed into a Snake Magic version called “Blue Hebi Justice” Yuji Jagata. Uchida was able to free himself backstage and used a mirror to reflect a spell back at JULIE. He also fed Nagata an antitode that gradually returned him back to normal. Nagata used the powers of his Salute pose to fight off JULIE’s magic while CIMA pinned Takagi with the Meteora to win the match. CIMA then brought up the match he had with Nagata in WCW 29 years ago. He was only 19 years old and 2 months into his career back then. He was dominated into defeat and has wanted a rematch ever since so he challenged Nagata to a singles match on 6th July! Nagata said he has no reason to refuse so he will give CIMA his all at the next Super Japan show.

In a moment that came and went in a blink of an eye, Kota Ibushi was seen standing at the entrance way waiting for Takagi after the main event. He reached out to Takagi and helped him walk to the back. Ibushi has not been seen on a DDT related event since his falling out with the company back in October 2024.

Having a pro wrestling career that spans across 35 years means you get to see a lot of different things happen. Satoshi Kojima used that sort of knowledge to help him fight off The Brahman Brothers. It helped that Munenori Sawa sacrificed himself by jumping in the way of an Ink Mist spot. By that point Kojima knew the plan was to fight as if he was a Brahman Brother himself. He suddenly started spewing out orange ink and used it to blind his opponents before beating them with the Lariat. Sawa was impressed to see first hand how Kojima can handle anything that gets thrown his way. Kojima though said he has no memory of what happened during the match. The Brahman Brothers were also amazed by Kojima and talked about wanting to team up with him next time just like they did with Nagata before.

Ken Ohka wants to do his bit to liven up Super Japan and came up with a big idea for a match to do on a future show. However neither Takagi nor Uchida were around after his match to hear about it. He had to wait until after the show to find Uchida and tell him he wanted to fight Hayabusa! Uchida agreed to book the match for 7th July.

5. Shunma Katsumata, To-y & Akito defeated KANON, Yukio Naya & Viento Maligno (w/ KIMIHIRO) when To-y pinned Maligno with the Running T・O・Y (11:58).
6. Special Rules Drunk Match: Danshoku Dieno & Yoshihiko defeated Yuki Ueno & Chris Brookes when Yoshihiko pinned Brookes after the Combined Gaydo Clutch (34:00).

Having a Beer Garden show means everybody goes there to get drunk, right? Not always. Yuki Ueno & Chris Brookes made a request for today’s main event to be a Drunk Rules match. However Danshoku Dieno is currently avoiding alcohol for his health and refused to be irresponsible about it. Hisaya Imabayashi agreed it would be a bad move for DDT to force one of their wrestlers to drink when they do not want to and came up with a compromise. A Drunk Match would go ahead for Ueno and Brookes but Dieno would be allowed to drink cola instead when prompted to. Yuki Ishida was also permitted to drink on Yoshihiko’s behalf. The wrestlers would have to drink after every kickout, rope break or if music suddenly played during the match. Dieno brought Yoshihiko up to the top of a ladder while everybody held it steady for their safety (a hot topic in puroresu this week due to the same actions happening at the Best Of The Super Jr.) until Brookes decided to topple Yoshihiko over. A brawl around the arena also resulted in Yoshihiko diving off of the top of the lighting rig. Dieno drinking cola instead of alcohol brought up an unintended consequence of needing to use the bathroom so he had to abandon his tag partner for a while. When he returned armed with toilet paper, Dieno had to fight off Ueno & Brookes on his own until Yoshihiko reappeared wrapped in empty beer cans and diving into the ring. Brookes tried to force Dieno to drink alcohol but Dieno used the Lip Lock to pass the drink over to Ueno. He then made Ueno and Brookes Lip Lock each other then attacked Brookes to make him spit out the beer. Dieno & Yoshihiko then applied a Double Gaydo Clutch on Brookes to win the match after over half an hour of mayhem. After the match Dieno showed regret and admitted he may start to hate DDT’s beer garden shows. However Ueno told everybody they can still enjoy the show without the need for beer, just make sure you don’t drink as much cola as you would alcohol. Dieno wasn’t convinced by Ueno’s drunk ramblings.

After HARASHIMA won his match, he announced to everyone that he and his wife recently welcomed their second child into the world.

For the 5,000 yen weapons match Kazuma Sumi & Yuki Ishida pooled together their money to hire Ryota Nakatsu as their weapon.

1. Zack Sabre Jr. & Chris Brookes defeated Hotdog De San Jose & Super P when Sabre submitted San Jose with a Manjigatame (?:??).
2. Main Ronn, Joya & Robienne Sane defeated Demonyitang Daniella Cavite, Crystal & Max Liwanag when Joya pinned Cavite with the Cutter (?:??).
3. Emman & “Mad Kat” Karina defeated Trainee Kenzo & Trainee Kiko when Emman pinned Kiko with the Styles Clash (?:??).
4. Jonathan Johnson defeated Munetatsu Nakamura with a Bridging Pin (?:??).
5. Jake De Leon & Shivam defeated Black Kat & Lifeguard Jack when De Leon pinned Black Kat with the Jumping Super Kick (?:??).

The lads from Baka Gaijin + Friends returned to Manila for a second time after having a successul Philippines debut last August. The main event spot was given to Real Global Threat so they could do something a little more light hearted than usual by fighting against a masked cat and a lifeguard. Disaster struck when Black Kat grabbed Bunbun from RGT and Suplexed him from the stage onto the mat. However Lifeguard Jack did his duty and revived Bunbun with CPR, allowing the show to continue without incident. Jake De Leon & Shivam then attacked Jack, grabbed a woman at ringside and lifted her over Jack so she would Foot Stomp him. Black Kat got the hot tag and fired himself up with catnip to fight off RGT by himself but Shivam put a stop to it by hitting Kat with Jack’s rescue can. De Leon then hit Kat with a Jumping Super Kick to pin him.

Munetatsu Nakamura and Jonathan Johnson fought their way into the crowd, holding each other in place for members of the audience to throw slaps at them. Nakamura tried to dive off of something but Johnson caught him in midair and carried him back to the mat area. Nakamura was able to pull off his dive later in the match but after some back and forth, Johnson outmaneuvered him and got the win using a backwards Bridging Cradle.

Two Dexcon trainees were given a match on the card, facing two wrestlers from Singapore named Emman & “Mad Kat” Karina. The rookie named Kenzo was taken out by Karina with a Spinning Neckbreaker. Karina then used a Falling DDT on Kiko to turn him upside down so Emman could grab him in the Styles Clash position. Karina got an extra kick in before Emman did the move to add insult to injury.

The SEA crew got to do Baka Gaijin their way with a trios match filled with wrestlers from the scene. Robin Sane showed up in a maid costume to wrestle the match as Robienne Sane. While Main Ronn and Max Liwanag were both fighting as the big guys of the match, Sane and Demonyitang Daniella Cavite found over who looked better in their outfits. Joya was there dressed as a superhero and was carried around by Ronn in order to do a flying attack to the opponents. Crystal was also dressed to impress in a suit but Cavite lost his temper and didn’t care that his wig flew off while he Power Bombed Sane. He was so busy yelling at the audience that he didn’t see Joya coming in from behind to give him the Cutter and win the match.

The SchadenTekkers are embarking on a mini-tour of Asia. They recently teamed up in Japan for DDT and got together for another match here. Zack Sabre Jr. is a vegan so he came into the match having a natural dislike towards Hotdog De San Jose. Meanwhile Super P had the most obvious size disadvantage ever when trying to fight Chris Brookes. She tried to make up for it by using her small frame to her advantage before setting up San Jose to finish the job. Unfortunately SchadenTekkers kept up the two-on-one battle plan long enough to wear down their opponents, ending with Sabre tapping out the hot dog while Brookes held a helpless Super P upside down. On the bright side, Brookes got along with P well enough that he joined in with her band to sing with them at some point during the day.

1. Raku defeated Kira Summer with the Doctor Yellow (8:06).
2. Pom Harajuku defeated Mifu Ashida with the Pom de Justice (5:56).
3. Yuki Aino & Haru Kazashiro defeated Arisu Endo & Shion Kanzaki when Kazashiro pinned Kanzaki with the Fisherman Suplex (9:19).

5. Miyu Yamashita & Sakura Hattori defeated Toga & Chika Nanase when Yamashita pinned Nanase with the Attitude Adjustment (11:21).
6. Yuki Kamifuku, Mizuki, Uta Takami & Mahiro Kiryu defeated Yuki Arai, Miu Watanabe, Rika Tatsumi & Suzume when Kiryu pinned Suzume with the Spinebuster (15:20).

The same Champions Vs Challengers main event is taking place twice during this period, the first happened today in Tokyo while the rematch will be held in Osaka next weekend. The challenger team won the first battle thanks to Mahiro Kiryu blocking Suzume’s Ring A Bell in order to pin her with the Spinebuster instead. She told Suzume after the match she will be coming to get the International Princess Title from her at Korakuen Hall next month! Yuki Kamifuku said it is fitting that she and Kiryu are the same age, went to the same college and are both fighting for championships on the same show. Kiryu isn’t used to closing out the show so she came up with an interaction for the audience to do. When she says the word “Apology” (“Moushiwake”) the fans all say “We are deeply sorry” (“Gozaimasen deshita”) back to her!

Backstage Suzume took the blame for her team losing and promised she will absolutely not lose in the rematch next week. Yuki Arai felt like she couldn’t do anything because of Kamifuku putting pressure on her the whole match. She also said the more that Kamifuku is polishing her visuals, the bigger the urge Arai gets to kick her!

Daydream got a little bit of revenge after the match by kidnapping Mizuki in the ring and abducting her back to the locker room. For that reason, Rika Tatsumi believes Daydream didn’t lose today because they will now go get something delicious to eat with Mizuki. However Uta Takami caught up to them armed with ice cream. She shoved the ice cream into Daydream’s mouths and rescued Mizuki from their clutches. As they ran off Tatsumi said Takami calls herself a vicious koala but isn’t scary at all. Miu Watanabe said they will get some payback in Osaka.

At the beginning of the show Arai and Kamifuku had a contract signing for their Princess Of Princess Title match happening on 7th June. Kamifuku talked about the amount of support she’s been getting for her first time fighting for this championship. In the past she would have complained about the attention but here she is feeling obligated to do her best for everybody who is rooting for her. Arai brought up the previous times she fought Kamifuku for the other titles and how she has beat her every time (Kamifuku at the end of the show blamed Kiryu for not winning the Princess Tag Team Titles match back then). They have similar fighting styles and Kamifuku tends to light a fire under Arai. The champion intends to unleash the full power of her boots to walk away with the victory yet again.

??? Fans – Unannounced

1. Ali Najima defeated Hinata Kasai with the Victor-Style Kneebar (7:29).
2. Yuya Koroku & Yuki Ishida defeated Hideki Okatani & Ilusion when Ishida pinned Ilusion with the Flame Palm (11:58).
3. Munetatsu Nakamura defeated Rukiya with the Mune-chan Clutch (8:39).
4. Takeshi Masada Produce Match – No Throwing Moves Match: Takeshi Masada Vs To-y ended in a Double Disqualification after a Double Brainbuster to the Referee (10:51).
5. Special Single Match: Kazuma Sumi defeated Yuni with the School Boy (11:12).

Since NωA Jr. are soon going to be challenging for the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles, the main event of today’s D GENERATIONS show was the showdown between Kazuma Sumi and Yuni. Sumi kicked out of a Moonsault so Yuni then went for the Phoenix Splash but had to land on his feet when Sumi rolled out of the way. Sumi tried to hit the Mickey Boomerang (MIKAMI’s original version of the move that everyone now knows as the 619) but Yuni dodged that and locked in a Jorge Clutch for a nearfall. Sumi eventually found a crack in Yuni’s defence to give him a High Kick to the head and then roll him into the School Boy for the victory. After the match Sumi asked Yuni if he really thinks that NωA Jr. can win the KO-D 6-Man Tag Titles at the end of this month? Yuni said that if he didn’t think the could win it, he would have never made the challenge in the first place! He admits to being the weak link of the unit right now but promised he will catch up to Sumi & Shunma Katsumata so they can all win the titles together on 31st May!

The match between Takeshi Masada and To-y had special rules implemented by the former. Masada wanted the match to prohibit all forms of throwing or slamming moves so he and To-y could only attack each other using strikes or submission holds. The rule meant neither Masada nor To-y could use their usual finishing moves. To-y ended up breaking the rule and in a panic knocked out Yukinori Matsui before he could disqualify him. With the referee down, Masada and To-y started using all of the throwing moves they could think of on each other. Yuya Koroku tried to interfere on Masada’s behalf but he was taken out with the Kojima Wonderland. Masada and To-y then got into a stalemate trying to Suplex each other. A groggy Matsui pulled himself back up only to get grabbed by both wrestlers so he could be Suplexed instead! Matsui was still conscious enough after the bump to disqualify both wrestlers for giving him a throwing move together.

During the show closing speech Sumi revealed that the original main event planned for today was going to be the singles match between Masami Inahata and Rukiya. He sent a message out to the injured Inahata, telling him to hang in there and keep on fighting but also to take his time coming back to the ring. Everyone in D GENERATIONS will be waiting for him. Rukiya instead fought Munetatsu Nakamura in the midcard, losing to the guest from Ganbare☆Pro.

A misfire from Hideki Okatani led to him giving the Skewered Claymore to Ilusion by accident. That allowed Yuki Ishida to finish Ilusion off with the Leg Scoop Suplex followed by the Flame Palm.
