1. Special 8-Man Tag Match: Daisuke Sasaki, Hideki Okatani, MJ Paul & Ilusion defeated Takeshi Masada, Yuya Koroku, Shivam & Yuni when Ilusion pinned Yuni with the Swanton Bomb (11:20).
2. HARASHIMA, Naomi Yoshimura & To-y defeated Kazuki Hirata, Soma Takao & Hinata Kasai when To-y pinned Kasai with the Kojima Impact (14:30).
3. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title: Jun Akiyama & Junta Miyawaki defeated Danshoku Dieno & Super Sasadango Machine (c) when Miyawaki pinned Sasadango with with a Body Press (8:01).
*Junta Miywaki becomes the 1,930th champion.
4. Special Tag Match: Yuki Ueno & Akito defeated Shunma Katsumata & Yuki Ishida when Ueno & Akito pinned Katsumata & Ishida with a Linked Pin (11:13).
5. KANON defeated Masami Inahata with the Lariat (14:13).
6. STRANGE LOVE CONNECTION Vs FANTÔMES DRAMATIC!: Chris Brookes & Antonio Honda defeated MAO & Yukio Naya (w/ YUZUKI) when Brookes submitted MAO with the Ground Octopus Stretch (20:36).

Chris Brookes got one back on MAO by using one of his own tricks against him. MAO likes to sometimes use the referee as a vault to do a Flying Stunner onto his opponent. This time Brookes used that idea on MAO and then pulled him down into an Octopus Stretch to make him tap out. MAO admitted that submission move is really intense to be in but that Brookes pulled out his trump card this early just means in MAO’s mind Brookes has already lost. MAO also thinks the ring isn’t enough to contain him and Brookes so they should take this rivalry outside! No matter what happens, MAO is confident he will still be the KO-D Openweight Champion after Sumo Hall.

For Match #4 the two teams had to wrestle while being in constant physical contact with their tag partners. If contact is broken they had a five count to reconnect or face disqualification. Yuki Ueno & Akito were quickly able to develop some teamwork under these conditions while Shunma Katsumata & Yuki Ishida struggled together. The two tried to do a top rope dive together but missed the target, allowing the other team to tangle them both up into a double pin for the finish. Ueno then told the audience he is already coming up with crazy match rules if he wins the DDT Extreme Title from Katsumata. Some of his ideas include a Submission match where only pinfalls count, a match with invisible people at ringside, a 60 minuted Iron Man Match and a Falls Count Anywhere match where you are not allowed physically touch your opponent. It’s all so Ueno can prove he can be interesting and entertaining as the Extreme Champion. Katsumata is starting to show frustration over his inability to beat Ueno. Since he gets to make the rules for the title match, he said it would not be something violent. However if Ueno happens to provoke him between now and Sumo Hall, Katsumata warns he might lose his temper and change his mind.

In a similar manner to the Tokyo Joshi Pro show that happened earlier in the day, Super Sasadango Machine’s mask kept him safe when he was shoved face first into Danshoku Dieno’s Hell Gate. Jun Akiyama then unmasked him and repeated the spot so Sasadango suffered just as much as everyone else did. Akiyama put Sasadango into the Front Face Lock while Junta Miyawaki tried to put Dieno into a Butterfly Lock. Dieno ended up backing into Akiyama, giving Akiyama a face full of his backside. With everyone else down, Miyawaki easily pinned Sasadango and won the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title in the process. He credited Akiyama’s teamwork for helping him win the title and he is ready to accept the challenges of anyone out there who wants to pin him.

Wrestlers from paleyouth and DAMNATION T.A kept provoking each other after the opening match. Takeshi Masada & Yuya Koroku confronted Hideki Okatani & Ilusion, almost sparking off a brawl between the two sides. Backstage Ilusion said he is only interested in taking the KO-D Tag Team Titles. Masada doesn’t believe him and thinks Ilusion cares more about paleyouth than he wants to admit. Koroku complained about how much DAMNATION T.A cheats but also claims he noticed Okatani’s true nature coming to light. That’s the Okatani he wants to fight at Sumo Hall so they can determine who the be wrestler is out of D GENERATIONS.

There was a surprise announcement from Hisaya Imabayashi during the show where he revealed Konosuke Takeshita is booked for “ULTIMATE PARTY 2026” on 3rd November. As he was telling everyone that Takeshita’s match hasn’t been decided yet, Daisuke Sasaki got into the ring and demanded he face Takeshita in a singles match instead of his scheduled bout with Danshoku Dieno. That brought out Dieno who reminded Sasaki that they were supposed to have their singles match last year but it was cancelled because Dieno was ill. DDT went through the trouble of making the match again this year and Dieno wants it to happen so they can go “beyond full nudity” this time. Sasaki doesn’t care and kept demanding he face Takeshita instead. Dieno then came up with an idea to make it a 3 Way Match. That way Sasaki can get Takeshita and Dieno can still go “beyond full nudity” with the two of them. With Takeshita involved that means it will now happen in front of a bigger, more global audience. Imabayashi accepted his reasoning and booked the 3 Way for Sumo Hall.

NωA Jr. are a man down for the time being because Kazuma Sumi is in New Japan competing in the Super Jr. Tag League with Ryusuke Taguchi. In the meantime, Katsumata & Yuni are still opening DDT shows with an NωA Jr. performance. They encouraged the fans today to send their cheers over to Sumi.

There will be a contract signing before the start of tomorrow’s show for the upcoming Princess Tag Team Titles match between Shunrai Rekka!! Prism Greed and RakuPom. Signings for the other two title matches scheduled for 8th November have already taken place this week.

She and Congrazie! were part of the Tokyo Idol Festival shows that TJPW held two months ago. Futaba even briefly held the Iron Man Title for two minutes back then. She wants to go through with this because she felt a connection with fans doing that show and she would like to have Shoko Nakajima be part of her match. No decision has been made if this will become a regular thing for Futaba or just a one time match.

After complaining about Ganbare☆Pro’s lack of telling stories with their recent match bookings, Yumehito Imanari failed to capitalize on his own big story today. On the day he turned 41 years old, Imanari thought it would be exciting if he could win the Spirit Of Ganbare World Title on his birthday. He couldn’t break through Mizuki Watase though with every Lariat and Elbow Strike only getting a two count on the champion. Watase then stopped Imanari in his tracks with a Dropkick, used the Venetian for a nearfall and finally put Imanari away with the Running Elbow. Imanari blamed his loss on Ken Ohka sending him a Happy Birthday email at 11:40 am when Imanari expected to receive it at midnight. He exclaimed that even Chikara Momota wished him a happy birthday before Ohka did! Imanari then called Watase a wild card and wrestling is in need of more wild cards. Watase told Imanari that GanPro cannot function without him because his pro wrestling is full of love.

Watase’s victory speech was soon interrupted by Shuichiro Katsumura and the two started talking about GanPro’s next Korakuen Hall show on 31st October. Katsumura said he never had a singles match with Watase so they should have one. Watase agreed but Katsumura then talked about wanting to become a double champion again. Watase likes the sound of that and wants a chance to become one too so he challenged Sussun Katsun for the Spirit Of Ganbare Tag Team Titles with Jun Kasai as his tag partner. Katsumura suggested they do the tag title match on 12th October but Watase turned it down because he wants both title matches to happen at Korakuen on the same show! Michiyoshi Mishima decided that both title matches will happen on 31st October but the SOG Tag Titles match will be the opener while the SOG World Title match is the main event. Suddenly Watase and Katsumura both started arguing with Mishima because the two of them want to do the title matches back to back! Mishima accepted the idea but only promised to do it if FREEDOMS agree to let Kasai do it. They did and the two matches are confirmed for Hallowe’en night. If that’s not enough title matches for Watase, he will soon be challenging for the King Of FREEDOM World Title and the Tenryu Project 6-Man Tag Team Titles too!

There were some changes to the Toyama Vs Naka Ward match. First, Shinichiro Tominaga had to pull out of the show due to family circumstances. Ken Ohka & Masashi Takeda talked to the audience at the start of the show asking if there was a wrestler from Toyama among them willing to fill in for Tominaga? They unexpectedly got an answer from Uta Shima, a joshi wrestler who often takes part in amateur pro wrestling clubs as an Asuka parody named ASHUKA. She accepted their offer to prevent the bout from becoming a Handicap Match. The other change was the match now took place under Elimination Rules which included getting thrown out of the ring Battle Royal style. Katsumura’s team won and Abdullah Kobayashi credited himself for the good result. Katsumura & Minoru Fujita both tend to disagree with that and tried to ignore Kobayashi’s requests to join the Naka Ward Assembly.

The result of the opener didn’t sit well with Non Toraga. She hit Moeka Haruhi with an Elbow Strike after the match, unhappy that she was pinned by Haruhi’s Cradle move when she had victory in her grasp.

It will still be a while before Yuna Manase returns to the ring from injury but she had kept herself busy. During her time away she held an audition to find disciples she can train into becoming pro wrestlers for the Ganbare☆Joshi division. Today she introduced everyone to her two trainees. En is a long time GanPro fan who wants to become the first woman in the “GanPro Universe” to become a GanJo wrestler. However she is not some starstruck fan doing this to become friends with the wrestlers. She intends to fight with everything she’s got and earn her support from the fans. Nono Nakajima is a pro mahjong player from Osaka. She wants to become a cheerful and energetic wrestler who embodies the passionate spirit of GanPro. The trainees will be learning from Manase, YuuRI and the rest of the GanJo division as they prepare for their debuts.

Muntatsu Nakamura was in attendance and gave everyone an update on his injury status. The surgery on his ACL was a success and he should be able to walk without crutches starting next week. He expects it will be Summer next year when he is fully fit to return to wrestling. Until then he is focusing on strengthening his body so he can come back strong0.

The show took an early intermission after the second match when a problem was found with the ring.

Earlier today Shinya Aoki lost to Mikuru Asakura in the semi-main event of a RIZIN MMA show. The match pretty much presented this as Aoki’s last stand as a pro fighter and he was accompanied by both Yuki Ueno and El Lindaman. No Junta Miyawaki with the KO-D Tag Team Title belts though. That was a waste of a payoff. While Aoki did give it a good go against Asakura by taking his back and trying to lock in a Rear Naked Choke, he was quickly pummeled into oblivion by Asakura’s ground and pound. Aoki made it clear in his post-match interview that he will be at this show in a few days time to wrestle his match because it is his job to be there.

Ueno has hinted that the X & X tag team in the Rumble are two really strong wrestlers and it is not common for the two of them to team up together.

So the three mystery partners in the 3 Way Tag match are all mascots. Minimo is the mascot from the idol group Minimoni that took part in the Battle Royal at “GRAND PRINCESS ’26” earlier this year, Pokotan is DDT’s attempt at breaking into the mascot market and Tama is the seal that is supposed to teach everybody about part-time jobs but ended up fighting wrestlers with a kitchen knife at the Tokyo Idol Festival this past Summer. Tetsuya Koda gathered the mascots together for a press event earlier this week and ended up getting attacked by all of them. Yes, that means Tama stabbed him too.

There was a Spirit Of Ganbare World Title match that happened in FREEDOMS this past Sunday when Mizuki Watase defended the title against Jun Kasai. The two were previously a tag team together in FREEDOMS and they even held the King Of FREEDOM World Tag Team Titles until recently. It was a match held under normal rules and Watase was able to beat Kasai to remain as champion. His next challenger has already been determined. Yumehito Imanari is turning 41 years old at this show and demanded he face the champion here so he can win the title on his birthday!

The regional battles waging within Ganbare☆Pro are continuing with the Toyama wrestlers now attracting the attention of wrestlers associated with the Naka Ward in Yokohama. Shuichiro Katsumura has drafted in Minoru Fujita to help him out and has another person on the way over to fight Ohka’s team of Toyama boys.

Over the weekend Shunrai Rekka!! Prism Greed became the No. 1 Contenders for the Princess Tag Team Titles. This is going to be the second time Yuki Aino & Haru Kazashiro are challenging for the titles together. Aino was half-responsible for ending Daydream’s first reign as champs at the very first “WRESTLE PRINCESS” back in 2020. Can she do it again with Kazashiro this time or will Miu Watanabe & Rika Tatsumi prevent history from repeating itself.

The participants for the 3 Way Tag Match will be revealed soon, maybe even by the time I post this update.

Yeah, that’s a random 6-Person Tag Match they’ve added in there.

6. Princess Tag Team Titles Next Challenger Decision Match – 3 Way Tag Match: Yuki Aino & Haru Kazashiro defeated Miyu Yamashita & Sakura Hattori and HIMAWARI & Toga when Aino pinned HIMAWARI after the Updraft!! Overdrive (13:13).
7. Suzume, Arisu Endo & Shino Suzuki defeated Yuki Arai, Wakana Uehara & Mifu Ashida when Suzume pinned Ashida with the Ring A Bell (13:49).

During the main event, Mifu Ashida and Shino Suzuki faced off, pom poms versus tour flag. When they collided Suzuki was left with a broken flag that left her in anguish. Suzume & Arisu Endo helped her get some revenge by grabbing Ashida and getting Suzuki to triple team her. Yuki Arai had Suzume scouted by countering the Ring A Bell into the Full Nelson Buster. However she & Wakana Uehara were taken out by Endo & Suzuki. Then when it all came down to Suzume against Ashida, Suzume got the win by giving her the Ring A Bell. After the match Suzume praised Suzuki for not giving up when her flag got broken. Backstage both Endo & Suzuki gave advice for Suzume to beat Arai. Endo warned her not to move around too much or else her legs could get tangled up. Suzuki said Arai is really into squishy toys right now so Suzume plays with one in front of her it will distract her. Suzume found neither piece of advice to be helpful. Ashida is becoming worried that she is holding Arai back because she is the one losing their tag matches. However Ashida & Uehara told Arai they can be her cheering group while she prepares to defend the Princess Of Princess Title against Suzume next month. The three of them together can become Kyoto x Cheer Tag!

Shunrai Rekka!! Prism Greed came out on top of the 3 Way Match to become the No. 1 Contenders for the Princess Tag Team Titles. They found K!SS// to be the stronger of the two opposing teams but HIMAWARI & Toga were enough of a wild card to keep the other teams on their toes. It got to the point where the third party would always cut someone off from winning the match. Yuki Aino finally found the breakthrough by diving onto Miyu Yamshita & Sakura Hattori outside the ring. She then threw Hattori back in for Kazashiro to give her the Fisherman Buster but HIMAWARI broke the pin. From there Prism Greed fought off HIMAWARI & Toga, leading to Aino & Kazashiro giving HIMAWARI the Updraft!! Overdrive for the victory.

After the match, Daydream climbed into the ring to meet their next challengers. Prism Greed said they are at their absolute best right now but Rika Tatsumi’s response was Daydream is also super motivated. They’re motivated enough that they could fight Prism Greed right now! However, Tatsumi would rather build up excitement for the title match. Miu Watanabe agreed and cannot wait for it to happen on 3rd October. Backstage Kazashiro talked about the overwhelming experience she’s gained since the team last challenged for the titles back in January. Meanwhile Daydream are describing them like a couple that’s just started dating while they themselves are like an old married couple nowadays. K!SS// are frustrated that they haven’t gotten close to the Princess Tag Titles yet but they won’t give up on their goal. Toga thought she & HIMAWARI did pretty well because they aren’t a regular tag team like the others. They’ll continue to work hard together and may even team up again in the future, especially if it means Toga no longer gets hit by HIMAWARI’s Hair Whips.

Raku wanted to give a gift to Yuki Kamifuku at the start of their match. She held a bag and told Kamifuku that inside it was a jacket identical to the one she was wearing right now. Kamiyu took a look inside and Raku suddenly pulled the bag over her head and then Cradled her for a nearfall! Kamiyu got her own back by giving Raku a Double Eyepoke afterwards. Raku later took her own jacket and put it on Kamifuku. It felt so comfy that Kamifuku started feeling sleepy. She was thrown out of the ring and started to take a nap on the floor so Raku dragged her up to the entrance. Raku then told the ref to silently count up to 20 so she could win by count out. The plan was working until Rise Shirai announced on the microphone that the count reached 10, immediately waking Kamifuku up. She got back in the ring to beat Raku up and win the match.

The next “HYPE!” show is coming up soon and Hyper Misao still hasn’t finished her script yet, as usual. She brought her laptop to the ring and told her opponents she was withdrawing from the 3 Way Match so she could make progress with her work. Ren Konatsu didn’t believe her and attacked her from behind to start the match. Chika Nanase joined in and the two stomped away while Misao tried to protect her laptop. Misao had no choice but to wrestle the match. Konatsu grabbed the laptop and threatened to break it until Misao warned her that she’d be responsible for “HYPE! 4” not got going ahead. Konatsu got scared so she handed the laptop to Nanase who then safely gave it over to Fumirin. When Fumirin turned her back to find a place to put down the laptop, Misao sprayed both of her opponents in their faces. She asked Fumirin to hand her back the laptop and then pinned Konatsu with La Magistral Cradle.

There was an announcement of Tokyo Joshi Pro doing a special collaboration with the Choshi Electric Railway for Shion Kanzaki’s homecoming show on 12th October. There will be a train departing from Choshi Station at lunchtime and Raku will serve as the special conductor for the final stretch of the route as the train approaches the nearest station to the show’s venue. Shino Suzuki will also be in charge of the in-train announcements. Keep in mind this is not a train journey exclusive for people going to the show. The regular public will still be on board too!

The first two matches have been changed around because Mahiro Kiryu is dealing with lower back problems again and is taking time off for the next couple of weeks. Shion Kanzaki will now face Pom Harajuku and the tag match Harajuku was a part of is now a 3 Way Match with the remaining wrestlers.

Some more wrestler anniversaries are coming up. Jun Akiyama celebrates his by inviting Yuji Nagata back into DDT. The two will have a good time wrestling HARASHIMA but Danshoku Dieno will be there too.

Takao was among Kazuki Hirata’s first opponents during Hirata’s first month as a debuting rookie. That was around 16 and a half years ago. Here’s one more singles match between them for old time’s sake.

Last weekend Shoko Nakajima wrestled at a SETUP show in Thailand and beat Matcha to win the SETUP All Asia Women’s Title. Her first defence is set for “WRESTLE PRINCESS VII” against an opponent to be determined. It has been noted by TJPW that the challenger selection is not limited to Asia and it is possible Nakajima’s opponent could be from anywhere around the world. At this point in her career, Nakajima has become an accomplished wrestler who has competed worldwide and is ready to be tested by whoever TJPW or SETUP can find.

A few weeks back Naomi Yoshimura let everyone know that he asked DDT for to book a particular opponent for his 10th Anniversary match scheduled for October. DDT honored his request and it’s now been revealed his opponent is going to be Zeus! The Osaka strongman was the person who originally opened the doors for Yoshimura to get into pro wrestling through his bodybuilding gym. When Yoshimura graduated from high school, he trained under Zeus and credits him for turning his dream of becoming a pro wrestler into reality. Zeus has kept himself busy these past few years with running Osaka Pro, the company he was successfully able to revive back in 2022. He doesn’t wrestle outside of his home promotion that often so for DDT to get him on board for a match that means a lot to Yoshimura is quite a big deal.

There is going to be a Princess Tag Team Titles match going on at “WRESTLE PRINCESS VII” next month but no clear contenders have emerged due to everybody focusing on the Tokyo Princess Cup. A 3 Way Tag has been put together to solve that problem. Two of the three teams are already established. That’s K!SS// and Shunrai Rekka!! Prism Greed. The third team are the wild cards of HIMAWARI & Toga, the two young wrestlers who both reached the Princess Cup semi finals this year.

Tokyo Joshi Pro is welcoming another Australian wrestler for a show and she’s already a “Lil” familiar with the brand. Marz is from Brisbane but has been wrestling around the world this year. That includes a tag match she had with Toga in Las Vegas during WrestleMania Week. She’s already in Japan and has been wrestling plenty for Ice Ribbon lately but this is going to be her TJPW debut.

A nice return to DDT is on the cards for Makoto Oishi so he can give Masami Inahata a test in the ring.

The rivalry between Viento Levante and Ilusion continues as they meet once again a few weeks before they fight for the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles.
