Next year will be DDT’s 30th Anniversary and with that in mind, today MAO and Chris Brookes wanted to put on a Sumo Hall main event that only they could do and only DDT could get away with. It started before the participants even made it to the ring. Brookes was making his entrance with FANTÔMES DRAMATIC completely unaware that MAO had climbed up the entrance stage right above them. When they finally caught sight of him, MAO Moonsaulted onto everyone below! He and Brookes then fought around the spectators where Brookes sprayed a fire extinguisher everywhere. Yukinori Matsui had to be the adult in the room and forcefully ordered both wrestlers to get back into the ring so the match could properly go ahead. That didn’t last long. The match found its way back outside where Brookes did the rubber band spot with wrestlers from Baka Gaijin + Friends who came to support him from the balcony. Then MAO got on the Dramatic Dream bike and crashed it into Brookes. They eventually made it back to the ring where a ref bump allowed them to bring out some plastic cases to smash apart with each other. Daisuke Kiso came in to try and gain control of the match only to be taken out when Brookes used him as a shield for MAO’s flying Stunner. Wrestlers from Fandora and Strange Love Connection then got into the ring to cause more chaos. SLC had the upper hand until friendly fire blew the group aside. Fandora made the comeback along with Mr. Bueno & Mr. Malo all of a sudden joining in. Dr. Cube then made an unexpected appearance but he was unmasked to reveal it was actually Zack Sabre Jr.! Together Brookes & Sabre double teamed MAO but the moment of victory was taken away when the lights went out in the arena. They came back on to show Yoshihiko was in the ring! Sabre wanted nothing to do with this and left while Yoshihiko then put on a ref shirt to take over the match as an official! It favored MAO by trying to count quick for him and slow for Brookes until both started to argue with it. Yoshihiko then went into business for itself by attacking both wrestlers and putting both of them through a table at the same time! By that point Yoshihiko was fed up and left the ring, allowing a recovered and confused Matsui to reappear. The match looked like it was getting back to normal with finisher attempts and nearfalls but MAO and Brookes ended up fighting out of the ring once more. As Matsui counted further and further along, MAO did a Quebrada but Brookes ducked under him. MAO landed on his feet and suddenly used Brookes as a stepping stone to vault himself back in the ring to beat the 20 count just in time. Brookes could only look back at the ring in a stunned state after realising he’d just been counted out!
MAO celebrated winning “The Battle Of Idiots” and winning a Sumo Hall main event by countout. It’s another achievement he can add to his list in a wrestling promotion that’s like nothing else in Japan or the world. He told Brookes he is the ultimate “Baka Gaijin” and one that DDT is proud of. MAO would follow Brookes all the way to Hell but he is relieved they didn’t actually go there today. And since their match ended in a countout, that means “The Battle Of Idiots” can continue!
The show ended with MAO and SLC heading backstage past a bunch of the wrestlers including Brookes who was feeling defeated. The two shook hands and MAO entered an empty locker room where Sanshiro Takagi appeared. Takagi looked like he wanted to fight MAO again just like in August but instead he shook MAO’s hand and allowed him to take centre stage for the group photo. However as the celebrations died down, Yukio Naya turned to MAO and challenged him for the KO-D Openweight Title! MAO accepted and the match will go ahead at the 29th November Korakuen Hall show.
From today onwards, Shinya Aoki is a DDT wrestler through and through. It meant his match with Zack Sabre Jr. was now officially DDT Vs New Japan although the two of them treated it much more as a respectful contest to see who the best techincal wrestler is between them. It was mostly hold for hold until Aoki pulled out a Topé Suicida and also a Diving Knee Drop. However Sabre reversed the European Clutch and countered Aoki’s submission holds into a Manjigatame. Aoki thought he found a breakthrough when he applied the Aoki Clutch but during the pinfall, Sabre pulled back on Aoki’s arm and started twisting all of his limbs backwars until Aoki gave up from the pain. Aoki admitted it was a complete defeat but simply giving up is not what pro wrestling is about. He’d like to wrestle Sabre again because their style of wrestling is what he stands for now. Sabre said he knew Aoki going back to his Pride FC days and he is fascinated with how Aoki integrated his technical abilities into his own wrestling style while also incorporating traditional wrestling moves. Sabre’s had a lot of ups and downs in New Japan this year but today’s win feels significant and has inspired him in a way he has never experienced before. He also sees DDT in a better light because Aoki chose to be with them and would like to wrestle here more often next year, probably in the Spring. After all, he just so happens to excel in tournaments…
Danshoku Dieno gave a warning far in advance that his match on the show with Daisuke Sasaki was going to go “beyond full nudity”. It was meant to happen a year ago so Dieno was feeling really pent up about it. As he got to the ring he took off his robe to reveal he was only wearing a jockstrap. Hisaya Imabayashi and Yukinori Matsui quickly convinced him to get his wrestling costume back on while Konosuke Takeshita was making his entrance. The match went on with a few 3 Way spots. Sasaki did the Super Elbow Drop out of the ring onto Takeshita & Dieno sitting on the same chair. He also pulled the ref out of the ring when Takeshita had Dieno pinned and beaten. After attacking Takeshita with a chair, Sasaki turned to Dieno and agreed to go “beyond full nudity” with him using a ritual passed down from Nerima called Full Naked Fusion! The two pulled down their tights and Takeshita had to fight off the two-on-one disadvantage. Dieno almost got the win out of nowhere by using the Gedo Clutch on both opponents. He then tried to give Takeshita the Rainbow Maker but Takeshita countered it by giving him the Lip Lock as revenge for Dieno stealing his first kiss all those years ago! Takeshita then finished the match by giving Sasaki the Raging Fire on top of Dieno’s exposed backside for the three count. After the match Takeshita said backstage that even though DDT’s young wrestlers are stepping up to make things exciting, the veterans are proving they aren’t going to be easy to deal with. This will be Takeshita’s last time wrestling in Japan for this year but who knows what 2027 will bring? Meanwhile Sasaki bragged about Takeshita crediting him for getting stronger whenever he talks to people in AEW. Allegedly when Sasaki was over there he said that to Tony Khan and Khan’s responded by saying “Oh, shit!” while his eyes widened. That’s according to Sasaki.
Ilusion’s belt collecting hobby remains at the same number today when he and Hideki Okatani were unable to beat paleyouth for the KO-D Tag Team Titles. The DAMNATION T.A team fought dirty but couldn’t find an opening to finish off Takeshi Masada & Yuya Koroku. Ilusion’s Swanton Bomb was blocked by Masada’s knees and Yuya Koroku gave both opponents a stacked Spinning Wheel Drop. With the threat extinguished, Masada pinned Ilusion with the Masada No Chikara KOBU Mukimuki for the successful KO-D Tag Titles defence.
After the match Sanshiro Takagi approached paleyouth and challenged them for the KO-D Tag Titles. They told him he will need a tag partner and he said he has one. It is… X. He has a mystery partner waiting in the wings and he will not reveal who it is until the match takes place! paleyouth didn’t know what to think about the idea but accepted the challenge once Takagi started calling them scared. The match will take place on 29th November and Takagi warned the champions there nightmare with X is only beginning.
Today was Yuki Iino’s final appearance in DDT under contract to the company. He will now transfer full time over to NOAH. For his final DDT match Iino took on Yukio Naya, his tag team partner from The Apex. It was a big clash of power filled with Lariats, Suplexes and big strikes. Iino hit the Spear but only got a nearfall out of it. Naya took over from there and slammed Iino down to the point where he could be pinned with The World’s Best Back Drop. Naya said afterwards that their record against each other is now one win, one draw and one loss each so they will need to have a proper settlement some day. Naya wants it to happen when he is the KO-D Champion and Iino is the GHC Heavyweight Champion! Iino thanked everyone he learned from during his time here in DDT. He learned the fundamentals to become a heavyweight wrestler with ALL OUT, learned how to entertain the audience from Pheromones and learned many more things from BURNING. He has nothing but gratitude for DDT. Later backstage at the end of the show, Iino said his goodbyes to the rest of SLC, handed his shirt over to Viento Levante and made his exit out of DDT.
The two celebrity idols wrestling in DDT lately were pitted against each other for a tag match. Kaisei Takeshi was teaming up with To-y using the tag team name Papico no Punch. In response to this, Kumadori & KANON decided to calle their team Monaka no Kick. They also had a big entrance that began with Kumadori and O-MENZ performing together then switched into KANON coming down to the ring with KIMIHIRO & YUZUKI. Takechi & To-y weren’t on the same page much. When To-y started a “T-O-Y” chant, Takechi took it over with a “T-K-C” chant. But despite not having the teamwork, victory still came their way when To-y caught KANON with a Hurricanrana to get the three count out of nowhere. Backstage Takechi said he wasn’t around when the Papico no Punch name was decided on so he isn’t sold on it yet. He actually liked the name T2K2 that To-y previously suggested! Instead some child came up with the name because they wanted to see To-y eat a Papico ice pop while Takechi punches the opponents and that name was what the roulette wheel landed on. They’ll stick with the name and are now considering chasing after the KO-D Tag Titles. To-y will soon be challenging for the DDT Universal Title first though. KANON said if To-y wins the title he will make sure he is the first challenger.
The DDT Extreme Title match begun with Shunma Katsumata and Yuki Ueno being connected to each other with a red rope to signify their bond with each other. Once there were kickouts and rope breaks happening, they then had to put on jackets weighing 5kg that represented their feelings. The weights made them harder to lift and heavier to slam but once they reached 20kg, the burden of their “feelings” would be taken off them and they could wrestle on as normal. Katsumata used the ropes to choke Ueno and also tangle up Yukinori Matsui. The two eventually reached the 20kg limit so were briefly free from wearing the jackets but they eventually found their way back onto them. Ueno tried to do the WR but Katsumata knocked him away. Katsumata then used the rope to gravitate himself back toward Ueno so he could do a German Suplex and pin him to win the match.
Katsumata told Ueno after the match that nobody can sever the bond between them and The 37KAMIINA will continue to stand at the heart of DDT. When Ueno left the ring, Naomi Yoshimura walked out wanting to challenge Katsumata for the Extreme Title. Katsumata said he has a personal rule where he does not defend the belt against heavyweights. Yoshimura said Katsumata looks like he’s been bulking up so he asked how much does he way currently? Katsumata said he is 100kg right now… which means he is a heavyweight! He accepted Yoshimura’s challenge and the match will happen on the 9th December Korakuen show. That will be the day when Katsumata turns 34 years old!
It’s not quite like father, like son just yet but he’s making progress. Hinata Kasai made it his goal since the summer to earn his first victory by the time today’s Sumo Hall show took place. That hadn’t happened yet so he went into the match against his own dad Jun Kasai determined to finally win something. He tried taking the fight out of the ring but Jun showed no hesitation in fighting violently against his son. That included skewering him in the head and throwing him into a castle of chairs that was built next to the ring. Jun wanted to show everyone he has just as much energy than the young wrestlers. However he never expected Hinata would kick out of the Pearl Harbor Splash at one! Hinata was pretty much out of it by this point but he still had the energy to give his dad the middle finger. Jun gave him the Pinche Loco afterwards to win the match and walked off to the back until Hinata called him out on the microphone. Hinata said he loves pro wrestling and it was always his dream but once he started doing it he lost his confidence and retreated into his own shell. He started to hate and even fear pro wrestling but today is when he decided to stop that because he was facing the man who has been by his side for his entire life. It didn’t matter if he won or lost, he wanted to enjoy wrestling and rediscover his love for it. Jun is always looking for excitment and Hinata isn’t sure if he could give it to him today. So instead Hinata made a vow to become stronger, earn his first victory, win the KO-D Title and achieve things that Jun never could! Once that happens, he can wrestle his father again and give him all of the excitement he’s been looking for. Jun smiled after hearing that and he gave Hinata a thumbs up.
The 4 Way Tag Match brought together a wildly diverse set of people to have a free-for-all. MxM Collection were back in DDT as part of their current tour of Japan. Demus has also returned and rejoined his DAMNATION T.A stablemate MJ Paul. There was also another appearance by ROMANCE DAWN as the freelance team that’s still hanging around DDT even though Soma Takao just left the company recently. The victory went to Junta Miyawaki & Daichi Sato in the end. Miyawaki took out a few wrestlers with a dive to the outside while Sato pinned Shota with the Fire Thunder. Things would go kind of haywire after that. MxM Collection attacked the winners after the match and Mason Madden ended up pinning Miyawaki to win the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title. Then as MxM Collection celebrated up at the stage entrance, Mansoor rolled up his partner to win the belt off him then ran off! There were later seen backstage at the end of the show meeting Yoshihiko in the hallway. Yoshihiko decided to attack both of them and pin Mansoor to become the latest champion.
Match #2 turned out to be a reunion of T2Hide. Things immediately went off to a bad start when Kazuki Hirata interrupted Toru Owashi’s entrance with his own and then knocked out Owashi on the way to the ring so he could do his own entrance in full without interruption. Owashi recovered and at least got to do his entrance alongside the opposing team. Everybody (including staff at ringside) then joined in on stomp Hirata in the middle of the ring. A train attack on Hirata briefly turned into a train attack on Akito before things went back to being bad for Hirata. He countered Antonio Honda’s Gongitsune trick, redirecting the attack towards Akito & Super Sasadango Machine. Then when Hirata prepared to dance, Akito easily flipped him over with a Side Suplex. Akito then pulled out his own pair of glasses and started dancing to “Night Of Fire” while Hirata danced to “TOKYO GO!”. The match turned into a full on dance battle that ended with Hirata using the Miracle One Shot Cradle to pin Honda. Hirata did a Spinarooni back to his feet to celebrate.
Naomi Yoshimura wrestled earlier on the show, teaming up with HARASHIMA to win the opening match against Jun Akiyama & Masami Inahata. HARASHIMA was there to save Yoshimura from Inahata’s Argentine Backbreaker. Akiyama used the Exploder Suplex on both of them but HARASHIMA hit back with a Somato to take him out of action. Yoshimura then threw over Inahata with the Harai-goshi to win the match.
There was a dark match featuring Shivam, the wrestler from Thailand who has begun a three month stay in Japan. He teamed up with Yuni but unlike their opponents they didn’t do anything to match up their looks. Tomomitsu Matsunaga & Yuki Ishida on the other hand wrestled in sumo mawashi. Ishida also sported a new haircut for his latest attempt at finding out who he wants to be. He still needs to look because when he grabbed some salt to throw at Yuni, it was dodged and Matsunaga got blinded with it instead. Yuni then rolled up Matsunaga to get the three count.
A new project has been announced that will help introduce DDT’s new wrestlers throughout 2027 during the 30th Anniversary celebrations. It is a relaunch of DDT New Attitude called DNA-r (DDT New Attitude reborn). The plan is to film a documentary series on Youtube following the path of DDT’s newest recruits as they work their way up from trainees towards becoming rookies making their pro wrestling debuts. Details about the application process will be revealed soon.

DDT “YOKOHAMA PRO WRESTLING RHAPSODY 2026”, 24/10/2026

1. Special 8-Man Tag Match: Daisuke Sasaki, Hideki Okatani, MJ Paul & Ilusion defeated Takeshi Masada, Yuya Koroku, Shivam & Yuni when Ilusion pinned Yuni with the Swanton Bomb (11:20).
2. HARASHIMA, Naomi Yoshimura & To-y defeated Kazuki Hirata, Soma Takao & Hinata Kasai when To-y pinned Kasai with the Kojima Impact (14:30).
3. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title: Jun Akiyama & Junta Miyawaki defeated Danshoku Dieno & Super Sasadango Machine (c) when Miyawaki pinned Sasadango with with a Body Press (8:01).
*Junta Miywaki becomes the 1,930th champion.
4. Special Tag Match: Yuki Ueno & Akito defeated Shunma Katsumata & Yuki Ishida when Ueno & Akito pinned Katsumata & Ishida with a Linked Pin (11:13).

6. STRANGE LOVE CONNECTION Vs FANTÔMES DRAMATIC!: Chris Brookes & Antonio Honda defeated MAO & Yukio Naya (w/ YUZUKI) when Brookes submitted MAO with the Ground Octopus Stretch (20:36).
Chris Brookes got one back on MAO by using one of his own tricks against him. MAO likes to sometimes use the referee as a vault to do a Flying Stunner onto his opponent. This time Brookes used that idea on MAO and then pulled him down into an Octopus Stretch to make him tap out. MAO admitted that submission move is really intense to be in but that Brookes pulled out his trump card this early just means in MAO’s mind Brookes has already lost. MAO also thinks the ring isn’t enough to contain him and Brookes so they should take this rivalry outside! No matter what happens, MAO is confident he will still be the KO-D Openweight Champion after Sumo Hall.
For Match #4 the two teams had to wrestle while being in constant physical contact with their tag partners. If contact is broken they had a five count to reconnect or face disqualification. Yuki Ueno & Akito were quickly able to develop some teamwork under these conditions while Shunma Katsumata & Yuki Ishida struggled together. The two tried to do a top rope dive together but missed the target, allowing the other team to tangle them both up into a double pin for the finish. Ueno then told the audience he is already coming up with crazy match rules if he wins the DDT Extreme Title from Katsumata. Some of his ideas include a Submission match where only pinfalls count, a match with invisible people at ringside, a 60 minuted Iron Man Match and a Falls Count Anywhere match where you are not allowed physically touch your opponent. It’s all so Ueno can prove he can be interesting and entertaining as the Extreme Champion. Katsumata is starting to show frustration over his inability to beat Ueno. Since he gets to make the rules for the title match, he said it would not be something violent. However if Ueno happens to provoke him between now and Sumo Hall, Katsumata warns he might lose his temper and change his mind.
In a similar manner to the Tokyo Joshi Pro show that happened earlier in the day, Super Sasadango Machine’s mask kept him safe when he was shoved face first into Danshoku Dieno’s Hell Gate. Jun Akiyama then unmasked him and repeated the spot so Sasadango suffered just as much as everyone else did. Akiyama put Sasadango into the Front Face Lock while Junta Miyawaki tried to put Dieno into a Butterfly Lock. Dieno ended up backing into Akiyama, giving Akiyama a face full of his backside. With everyone else down, Miyawaki easily pinned Sasadango and won the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title in the process. He credited Akiyama’s teamwork for helping him win the title and he is ready to accept the challenges of anyone out there who wants to pin him.
Wrestlers from paleyouth and DAMNATION T.A kept provoking each other after the opening match. Takeshi Masada & Yuya Koroku confronted Hideki Okatani & Ilusion, almost sparking off a brawl between the two sides. Backstage Ilusion said he is only interested in taking the KO-D Tag Team Titles. Masada doesn’t believe him and thinks Ilusion cares more about paleyouth than he wants to admit. Koroku complained about how much DAMNATION T.A cheats but also claims he noticed Okatani’s true nature coming to light. That’s the Okatani he wants to fight at Sumo Hall so they can determine who the be wrestler is out of D GENERATIONS.
There was a surprise announcement from Hisaya Imabayashi during the show where he revealed Konosuke Takeshita is booked for “ULTIMATE PARTY 2026” on 3rd November. As he was telling everyone that Takeshita’s match hasn’t been decided yet, Daisuke Sasaki got into the ring and demanded he face Takeshita in a singles match instead of his scheduled bout with Danshoku Dieno. That brought out Dieno who reminded Sasaki that they were supposed to have their singles match last year but it was cancelled because Dieno was ill. DDT went through the trouble of making the match again this year and Dieno wants it to happen so they can go “beyond full nudity” this time. Sasaki doesn’t care and kept demanding he face Takeshita instead. Dieno then came up with an idea to make it a 3 Way Match. That way Sasaki can get Takeshita and Dieno can still go “beyond full nudity” with the two of them. With Takeshita involved that means it will now happen in front of a bigger, more global audience. Imabayashi accepted his reasoning and booked the 3 Way for Sumo Hall.
NωA Jr. are a man down for the time being because Kazuma Sumi is in New Japan competing in the Super Jr. Tag League with Ryusuke Taguchi. In the meantime, Katsumata & Yuni are still opening DDT shows with an NωA Jr. performance. They encouraged the fans today to send their cheers over to Sumi.

Some new inventiveness from Uta Takami scored her an upset pinfall over Suzume! She blocked the Ring A Bell in order to lock in the Koala Clutch but Suzume knocked her to the mat. Takami kept her grip on Suzume and from there used the set up of a Running Bulldog to bounce up the ropes and Sunset Flip over Suzume into a Jackknife pin for the three count. Takami said after the match she’s been convincing herself she has gained momentum and today she showed Suzume that the momentum is real. She is now confident she will win the International Princess Title on 8th November. Suzume said momentum won’t be enough to beat her but she is excited to face an apparantly unstoppable Takami in the title match.
Meanwhile Shoko Nakajima thinks Yuki Arai made a fool out of her during the main event. One of their exchanges ended with Arai putting Nakajima into the Scorpion Death Lock. Nakajima was eventually able to get out of it with a rope break but was slow to get back up. Arai then Dropkicked her in the back and Nakajima had to go regroup outside the ring. She fought back by giving Arai a 619 when they were both getting back into the ring but Nakajima said after the match that she isn’t going to forget about how much Arai targeted her lower back.
There was a contract signing before the show for the upcoming Princess Tag Team Titles match between Shunrai Rekka!! Prism Greed and RakuPom. According to Yuki Aino, she understands Raku & Pom Harajuku more than anyone else in Tokyo Joshi Pro. Although to be honest, even Aino doesn’t quite understand why those two are the way they are. Since it is Aino’s birthday tomorrow, RakuPom gave her a super large heart shaped onigiri rice ball as her present. They also gave Haru Kazashiro a tiny riceball because it isn’t her birthday then quizzed her on how much she really knows about Aino with personal questions she couldn’t know the answer to. Later in the show, Raku saved Harajuku from taking Prism Greed’s tag finisher. Harajuku then used Shino Suzuki’s momentum to take out both Aino & Kazashiro through some accidental friendly fire. Raku then slammed Kazashiro onto Aino with a Facebuster and Harajuku followed up with the Pom de Justice for the win. Harajuku said RakuPom won today because they have so much love for Aino while Kazashiro is too naive to entrust her with Aino’s well being. They’re going to go get Aino another birthday present to celebrate.
Halloween is coming up next week so Hyper Misao, Wakana Uehara & Toga were dressed up on costumes for their match and asked their opponents for a trick or treat. They then threw candy at their opponents and dunked the Halloween buckets over their heads to start the match. The wrestlers spent part of the match slamming each other onto the candy too.
It is not often we would see Danshoku Dieno & Super Sasadango Machine inside a TJPW ring but they’ve both been here before. They made a request to Tetsuya Koda before their match with Miyu Yamashita & Yuki Kamifuku, asking if they could change the name of the promotion to Tokyo Oji Pro Wrestling if they win? Koda declined and also strictly ordered Dieno not to do any spots where he exposes his backside. Dieno ignored the rule during the match by attempting the Danshoku Nightmare, causing Koda to run into the ring and pull Dieno’s tights back up. Still, nothing in the end could stop Dieno from doing what he wanted to do. He got into the Hell Gate position where both Koda and Kamifuku got a face full of Dieno’s backside. Yamashita pushed Sasadango face first into the Hell Gate but Sasadango was unaffected because of the mask he was wearing. Yamashita then kicked the mask off of Sasadango’s head before also kicking Dieno in the backside. Sasadango took a High Kick to the head but got to give Yamashita the Lehman Shock before going down, leaving Dieno and Kamifuku as the last ones standing against each other. Kamifuku did her best to fight off Dieno but was out on her feet after taking a Vertical Drop Brainbuster. Dieno gave her a hug and then the Danshoku Driver to win the match.
After the match Dieno said he always suspected people made assumptions about Kamiyu based on her flashy looks. He thinks Kamiyu could have gone and made connections anywhere especially because she can speak English but she always chose to be with TJPW. She started her wrestling career here and she will end it here. There is just one thing Dieno wants to know. There was a day he met Kamifuku in the dojo where she was training to be a wrestler and had not made her debut yet. He noticed she was trying to stay cheerful so he gave her some advice to speak in English as a wrestler because she knows the language. But what he wants to know is from that day to right now, does Kamiyu enjoy pro wrestling? Kamifuku asked Dieno to look her in the eyes for her answer… and then she eye-poked him. Later backstage Dieno remembered the stipulation over changing TJPW into Tokyo Oji Pro Wrestling. Sasadango admitted he didn’t expect they would win today so they should agree the idea was just them spouting nonsense that can be ignored. Since Sasadango is currently the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion, he was kind of hoping Yamashita or Kamifuku would have beaten him today, win the title off of him and take his place on the DDT show he is booked for later.
Ren Konatsu has booked her place in the Next Generation Tournament ’26 final while Chieri Sakimori is the first wrestler to be eliminated this year. Shion Kanzaki is still alive in the tournament after losing to Konatsu and now has to fight with Momo Sato over the Loser’s Bracket spot in the final. Sato’s win over Sakimori today is also her first victory in her TJPW career.

Today’s show was a statement from DDT to tell everyone they are now going full steam ahead towards “ULTIMATE PARTY 2026” and beyond while also saying one last goodbye to maybe its most controversial unit in company history. In the main event Strange Love Connection got the better of FANTÔMES DRAMATIC in an Elimination 8-Man Tag Match. Within SLC, it was The Apex who were involved with the first half of eliminations. Yuki Iino & Yukio Naya double teamed Hinata Kasai to take him out of the match first. But things went awry between them and Antonio Honda redirected Naya into eliminating Iino with a Big Boot out of the ring. Honda and Naya then eliminated each other when a struggle over the top rope ended with both of them falling to the floor. Chris Brookes and MAO relied on their skills to create the rest of the eliminations. Brookes submitted KANON with the House Piano Death but he and HARASHIMA couldn’t capitalize on beating the last man left, MAO. Instead MAO pinned HARASHIMA with the Bridging Gedo Clutch, leaving himself and Brookes as the final two. A ref bump caused the eliminated wrestlers from both teams to storm in and cause some chaos, leading to Brookes giving MAO the Praying Mantis Bomb for a nearfall when the ref recovered. Brookes went to do his finisher a second time but MAO countered it into a Small Package in midair to get the three count out of nowhere. After the match MAO talked about the different directions he and Brookes took. Now they both lead their own units to fight each other in a Korakuen Hall main event. Brookes told MAO that their KO-D Openweight Title match at Sumo Hall will determine which unit is better.
The show wasn’t over yet at this point. MAO turned to Iino and reminded him there are two things Iino said he wanted to do. Iino then called out Danshoku Dieno for one last match with him! They were meant to have a DDT Extreme Title match together in March 2025 but it was cancelled when Iino suffered an orbital fracture. That match has been on Iino’s mind ever since and he needs it to happen before he leaves DDT for NOAH. Dieno asked Iino if it was really him asking for the match or if it is Yuki “Sexy” Iino from the salacious unit they were in together a few years ago called Pheromones? Iino answered it was simply coming from his normal self. Dieno did not want to hear that and he walked out to the back. Suddenly the familiar voice of Dieno filled the room, except this time it was Dieno in his Pheromones form. If the normal Yuki Iino wanted the match then he would have to do it against Danshoku “Dandy” Dieno!
An impromptu match began between Dieno and Iino. After a quick exchange of signature moves, Dieno began to strip out of his costume and encouraged Iino to do the same. Iino fought the temptations and froze before pulling off his cap to shout “Jonetsu!” out loud. Iino didn’t join in with Dieno, instead he hit him with a Lariat and then pinned him with the Spear. Iino was in tears after the match while he talked about how important Pheromones was to him, helping him grow into the wrestler he is today. Dieno said Iino had a second piece of unfinished business so he will allow him to go do it. Yuki “Sexy” Iino has been expelled from Pheromones! Dieno told him not to dare live a life he will end up regretting and then left the ring.
With Pheromones now permanently sent out to pasture, Iino brought up his second and last piece of business. Ever since The Apex was formed Iino and Naya have never had another singles match against each other. Naya admitted he wanted to challenge Iino to a match but didn’t think he would get a chance. He isn’t going to cry over Iino leaving despite how lonely he will feel without him. At Sumo Hall they will fight each other one more time and Naya will make Iino feel the deepest regret he will ever have!
Ryusuke Taguchi has successfully defended the DDT Universal Title twice in two days this weekend. Yesterday he beat Dick Togo at a New Japan show to retain the championship and today he got the better of Akito to remain champion again. Both wrestlers today had the same gameplan of targeting the opponent’s legs and working in ways to apply the Ankle Lock. Taguchi altered his Dodon finisher to be more of a releasing slam so Akito couldn’t counter it. Some Kneecrushers weakened Akito enough for him to finally give up when Taguchi put him in the Cross Ankle Hold. Akito thanked Taguchi after the match for showing respect to DDT during his reign so far. Taguchi explained he is doing it because DDT have entrusted him with the belt.
Taguchi was in the middle of announcing his next title defence will be on 29th November when To-y suddenly got into the ring to challenge him. To-y said he wants to experience every single side of Taguchi from his skills to his “afro” persona. Then once To-y gets his fill he will beat Taguchi and win the Universal Title from him. Taguchi said he stopped paying attention to To-y’s challenge when he realized he shouldn’t be taking him seriously. He isn’t sure if To-y’s crazy personality is just an act so he’ll give him the title shot to figure out which of them is crazier.
After that match was decided, Taguchi and Kazuma Sumi revealed to everyone their team name for the upcoming Super Jr. Tag League being held in New Japan. They are called Sumi 55 (“Sumi GoGo” much like Apollo 55 of old) and they promise to come back to DDT as tournament winners! Backstage Taguchi said he wants to see Sumi spread his wings and take on the world. If Sumi 55 finds success as a team then Taguchi may consider the two of them go after the KO-D Tag Team Titles.
A successful title defence is now under paleyouth’s belt after Takeshi Masada & Yuya Koroku defeated ROMANCE DAWN with the KO-D Tag Titles on the line. Soma Takao is now a freelancer just like his tag partner Shota and the two thought they pay DDT a visit and take their tag titles away. But Koroku kicked out of the Official Endless Waltz and gave Takao the Intercept DDT off of the ropes. Masada followed up with a Triangle Kick and the champs then finished Takao off with their German Suplex/Knee Kick finisher.
The champs along with Daichi Sato and Bunbun got together after the match so all of paleyouth could celebrate the victory together. All of a sudden the cameraman at ringside started sticking up his middle finger at them. It turned out to be Ilusion behind the camera! Hideki Okatani then ran into the ring and attacked paleyouth from behind with a bamboo stick while Ilusion filmed it. The two of them challenged Masada & Koroku for the KO-D Tag Titles and they will get the match at Sumo Hall on 3rd November. Backstage Ilusion said he doesn’t care who the tag champs are, he just wants to add a 10th and 11th belt to his current collection of championships. He also said there is no way he and Okatani will lose to a team that are closer to thirty than he is!
In the match before that, DAMNATION T.A retained their KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles against NωA Jr. The presence of MJ Paul gave DAMNATION T.A the legally questionable numbers edge as he made up for the champs getting hit with a lot of big dives early on. He got called into the ring after Daisuke Sasaki pushed down Yukinori Matsui. The plan backfired after Ilusion brought in a chair and accidentally hit all of his partners with it by accident. Shunma Katsumata also tricked Ilusion into hitting himself with the chair by bouncing it off the top rope. The match came down to Sumi finding ways to roll up Sasaki with the School Boy. Sasaki kept kicking out and eventually he countered the School Boy into a cradle where he grabbed the bottom rope for leverage. Matsui somehow didn’t see it and counted the pinfall to give DAMNATION T.A the win. Later backstage, Sumi told Katsumata & Yuni he wants to take a break from NωA Jr. for a while. It’s been something he’s been thinking about all weekend even though he previously said the group would stay together going forward.
There was an important announcement regarding Shinya Aoki that was given out during the show but I’ll get to that later. His tag match on the show happened first. Junta Miyawaki had to do most of the hard work surviving against Jun Akiyama. Aoki made it look easy going up against Daichi Sato and used the Aoki Clutch on the youngster to win the match.
Match #2 might break the record for the shortest ever wrestling match to somehow also be around 15 minutes long. Dieno wanted to give Kaisei Takechi the Lip Lock during his entrance. Takechi dodged him and Dieno ended up Lip Locking Matsui instead, knocking the ref out. Then when The 37KAMIINA made their entrance, To-y felt it was the right time to roll up Yuki Ueno and try to win the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title from him. He failed but Kazuki Hirata then tried the same thing. Ueno kicked out of that too but Super Sasadango Machine then jumped on top of him to get the pin and become champion. Ueno quickly won it back by giving Sasadango a Shining Wizard at ringside. While all of this was going on, Dieno was still chasing Takechi while To-y had all of a sudden made his way up to the balcony teasing a massive dive onto everyone below! Takechi was willing to catch him with the others until Dieno chased him over to the other side of the room and the others all followed, ruining To-y’s big spot. To-y came up with a new idea to wheel over a cart while everyone was fighting in the aisleway. That backfired when Dieno took over the cart and formed the Hell Gate while Sasadango pushed him toward Takechi & Ueno. Takechi jumped out of the way at the last second but Ueno got a face full of Dieno’s Hell Gate. He fainted and Dieno pinned him to win the title. To-y then jumped onto Dieno with a Cross Body Block to win the belt from him. After that, To-y was chased down to ringside where he tripped and fell over. Sasadango caught up to him and did the Vertical Drop Lehman Shock onto the floor to become the new champion. Sasadango then went up to the commentary table to celebrate. Takechi caught up but instead of attacking Sasadango, he bowed and convinced him to start dancing instead. It was all a trick so Takechi could knock Sasadango out when his guard was down. Dieno stopped Takechi from pinning him so the special guest commentator Yui Yoshida decided she would pin Sasadango and win the title for herself after everyone had all taken each other out! Dieno immediately put her in a Sleeper Hold to win back the belt. He then tried to give Ueno the Danshoku Nightmare over on the bleachers but Takechi knocked him down and Ueno rolled Dieno over to pin him and win the title once more.
By this point Kazuki Hirata grabbed the microphone and told everyone he only came to Korakuen Hall today for one thing and one thing only… to dance! He pulled out the Hirata GO! glasses and danced in the bleachers with Takechi joining in. They then both agreed to get into the ring and continue fighting in there. Takechi immediately put Hirata in a Crab Hold and Hirata instantly began tapping out. Matsui finally regained consciousness, had the bell ring to officially start the match and then had the bell ring again to end it with Takechi winning the match in exactly one second.
Hisaya Imabayashi got on the microphone but it wasn’t to complain about what just happened. Instead he praised everybody for giving the fans a great show even though the match was only one second long! Takechi then apologized to Sasadango for missing the Muscle& show and asked for another chance. Sasadango forgave him and the two shook hands. Hirata then suddenly pinned Ueno out of nowhere and ran off with the Iron Man Title! However a few minutes later everyone caught Hirata backstage and they all piled on top of him for a pinfall. Sasadango was the one directly on top of Hirata so he was declared the champion and he remains so at the time of writing.
A far more normal wrestling match happened before this. Sanshiro Takagi wanted to impress people by doing the Dragon Ring In but he jumped right into Naomi Yoshimura kicking him. Yuki Ishida thought he had Masami Inahata all figured out until Inahata countered the Ensho into a Spinning Body Slam. Yoshimura then shrugged off Ishida’s strikes to pin him with the Harai-goshi.
Still with me? Okay let’s move onto the announcements. The biggest news to come out of today’s show is that Shinya Aoki will be joining DDT on a full time basis! He will officially become a DDT wrestler on 3rd November, the same day he faces Zack Sabre Jr. at Sumo Hall. He promised to win that match as a DDT wrestler. Sanshiro Takagi said he’s worked with Aoki for a long time now and he is truly moved that Aoki is now joining DDT. Aoki described the decision as him further shifting away from MMO and towards pro wrestling. The idea to him felt right after Yuki Ueno was in his corner for his recent RIZIN fight. Takagi also thinks that it was necessary for Aoki to fully immerse himself in pro wrestling at least once in his life.
Some other important news is the appearance of three trainees who will soon make their pro wrestling debuts. The new rookies are (from left to right above) Haruki Satoh from Niigata, Maito Furuhashi from Aichi and Shuntaro Kobayashi from Chiba. All three of them will have their debut matches on 9th December. There is no mention yet if they will all debut in the same match or will be put into separate bouts by themselves.
And there’s one more new addition to the company. The voice actor Kouhei Sueyasu has joined DDT as a ring announcer. He is from the same talent agency and Tetsu Inada.

Dieno was an early supporter of Kamifuku as she trained for her debut. She remembers how he praised her for practicing the Eye Poke. Plus they are both dog owners and have a shared bond through how much they love their pets. Sasadango is the first masked wrestler Kamifuku ever watched. As for who she wants to team with, Kamiyu picked Miyu Yamashita because out of everybody in Tokyo Joshi Pro she is the most capable of beating up men.

The wonderful world of Muscle is back for a new generation. Super Sasadango Machine’s story based spin off brand holds an unusual role in developing many of DDT’s past talents so the time has come for it to return with a revamp and help mould the wrestlers from D GENERATIONS into something more. The comeback show hit a pretty major setback at the last minute. Kaisei Takechi was meant to be the headline star and leading role for the show but he felt unwell and had to pull out on short notice. A decision was made to cast Kazuki Hirata as Takechi’s replacement and he took the role literally by turning into “Kaisei Takechi”. Also Rukiya couldn’t be at the show due to his current injuries.
The story begins with a pre-show meeting held by Sasadango and Hisaya Imabayashi for the D GENERATIONS roster. Things did not get off to a good start with Sasadango complaining about Gen Z having short attention spans while Daichi Sato argued that KANON is too old to be considered a D GENERATIONS wrestler. Everybody eventually agreed to memorize their lines only to be told by Imabayashi that there is no script for the show. Instead everyone would have to go through a Championship Training Course that is essential to pass in order to win the KO-D Openweight Title. Normally this is a semester that lasts several months but because Gen Z doesn’t have the attention span for that, it will instead be a two hour long session to be held in front of everybody in the ring.
The course is open to wrestlers with eight years of experience or less and is divided into three classes: the Idol Wrestler Course, the Villainous Wrestler Course and the Mysterious Wrestler Course. The group were then introduced to the director of the Japan Championship Research Institute, former KO-D Champion, Meiko Satomura! She told the class that the most important thing is to determine whether or not they possess the strong spirit of a champion.
First up was the Idol Wrestler Course titled “iDooool”. The wrestlers assigned to this class were KANON, Takeshi Masada, Hinata Kasai and… Ilusion? The masked heel complained to Satomura about being here and threatened her with a beer bottle. Satomura quickly changed his mind by grabbing the bottle and smashing it to pieces with a single punch! The wrestlers were made to spar in the ring before getting advice from Satomura. She told KANON he moves too much for a wrestlers of his size and told Ilusion that he lacks social skills. She then said she wants Masada & Kasai to both become idol wrestlers who can sing and dance. They can become the Reiwa equivalent of the Crush Gals so she has named them the Explosive Boys!
Next up was the Villainous Wrestler Course called “Heeeeel!!” and it was made up of six wrestlers. “Takechi” was sent here along with Yuya Koroku, Kazuma Sumi, Yuki Ishida, Daichi Sato and Masami Inahata. The instructor for this course was Yuki “BADASS” Ueno, the never seen before heel alter ego of DDT’s current ace! He taught the students that being evil is the correct thing to do and presented them a list of all the WWE wrestlers who turned heel before becoming champions. The sparring session was a three versus three bout where only foul play was permitted. During the match, Hideki Okatani suddenly showed up and started attacking people with his bamboo stick. He and “Takechi” then joined forces to attack Ueno, who decided to end the session right there.
Last but not least, class was now in session for “Mystery”, the Mysterious Wrestler Course. The three remaining students are Viento Levante, Yuni wearing his old El Unicorn outfit and To-y with his face painted up as The Great Koji. To everyone’s surprise El Desperado from New Japan is in charge of this class! He explained that masks and face paint are not only used to conceal identities but to create new ones as well. One by one the students revealed their personas. To-y tried to explain The Great Nita as an original idea but Despy didn’t believe him. Yuni said he has wrestled for ten years which surprised Despy because he didn’t know that already. Levante talked about how he is about to undergo surgery in his right knee. He vows to come back and become the KO-D Champion.
The sparring session went ahead as a 3 Way Match. Yuni and Levante spent most of the time fighting each other while To-y tried to charge up a Poison Mist attack. Suddenly all of the heels from the Villainous Wrestler Course ran into the ring and attacked everybody! Ueno said this was Run In Training and all part of his course. Now it was time for Mask Removal Training! The heels unmasked Yuni and almost did the same until Desperado tried to stop them. The heels then ganged up on him when Satomura stormed into the ring to scare everyone away.
Ueno started to mock Satomura, telling her she never made it to the top of WWE because she never turned heel! He then instructed “Takechi” to get on the stage and invited Satomura over in a sultry manner so they could do something “bad” together. Satomura couldn’t help but be drawn towards “Takechi” but it was a trap! Okatani emerged from the shadows to attack Satomura with the bamboo stick. Satomura saw it coming and blocked him but she left herself vulnerable to a deadly hand chop by “Takechi” that somehow blew up Satomura into pieces! Ueno then proposed a challenge to the other two classes. If their students can beat the heels one by one, they will be given back different pieces of Satomura so she could be put back together. If they fail then her home promotion Sendai Girls would collapse without her leadership!
The first match between Yuni and Yuki Ishida was for Satomura’s torso. Ishida used the heel tactics he learned to try and unmask Yuni and attack him with a chair. But the chair attack missed and bounced back into Ishida. Yuni got a nearfall with the Messiah DDT then got the win with the Phoenix Splash.
Yuya Koroku & Masami Inahata in Match #2 cheated by throwing powder and swinging baseball bats. To-y was now in full Great Koji mode while Ilusion tried his best babyface behavior by giving the thumbs up instead of the middle fingers. He even made the decision not to use a baseball bat when given the chance. To-y blinded Inahata with Poison Mist and did a Combined Thrust Kick with Ilusion to win back Satomura’s arms.
The next limb up for grabs was Satomura’s right leg. The mentors were now getting directly involved with Desperado teaming up with Levante while Ueno joined forces with Kazuma Sumi. The heels again tried to unmask their opponents but the fighting went on until the final minute. With time almost running out, Levante was able to lure Sumi into taking a punch from Desperado. Levante then rolled up Sumi to continue the winning streak against the heels.
Things then went pear shaped in the match after that. KANON fought Daichi Sato to a time limit draw. Sato used some Eye Rakes to slow down KANON but KANON hit back with several Lariats. Sadly the time expired before he could finish Sato off. That meant the Idol & Mystery Alliance were unable to claim back a vital part of Meiko Satomura, the shoulder pads from her suit jacket… Yes they are necessary!
The challenge had been failed but Imabayashi begged the Villainous Wrestler Course to put everything on the line for the final battle. Ueno hesitated to agree but he was convinced when the Explosive Boys performed a brand new song called “”&”GENERATION” in front of him. Ueno said the song reminded him of something from the past and he accepted the final challenge. Every piece of Meiko Satomura would be on the line in the main event!
The Explosive Boys now had to fight Okatani & “Takechi” but Kasai never anticipated what would happen to him. Late in the match, Okatani handed his bamboo stick to Masada and ordered him to attack Kasai with it. Masada refused and saved Kasai from a beating. The two hugged until Okatani suddenly gave Masada a signal that brainwashed him into turning on Kasai with a Low Blow! Okatani then handed over Satomura’s shoulder pads to Masada and it gave him the ability to use the Scorpio Rising on Kasai (I told you they were necessary). Okatani then gave a Vertical Drop Brainbuster before pinning him with one foot along with “Takechi” and Masada.
When the match was over, “Takechi” & Masada started bragging about all of the money they were about to make when they win every championship from every company and unify them all. However the heels unknowingly placed all of Satomura’s body parts together in a pile and accidentally resurrected her back to one piece! She wasn’t angry over what just happened. In fact this whole ordeal was a practical exam to graduate from the course! She cleared up the ring so the graduation ceremony could begin.
The ceremony began with each class announcing their top student. They were Kasai for the Idol Wrestler Class, Levante for the Villainous Wrestler Course and Masada for the Villainous Wrestler Course (because of his heel turn). Satomura then announced the reward for these three was a KO-D Title shot! The champion MAO is already at the show to do an autograph session and was watching from the balcony. He agreed to put the title on the line against the three top students in a Survival 4 Way Match right away! At this point the show was reaching its scheduled end time but Akito promised to take full responsibility for the show breaking its curfew.
The match began and was every man for himself. It was elimination rules so the KO-D Title would go to the last man standing. Kasai was first to go after Masada pinned him with his finisher. He gave Levante a Low Blow and tried to eliminate him when MAO stopped it and pinned Masada with a Bridging Gedo Clutch instead. Levante was left fighting from beneath due to his injured knee being targeted. He kicked out of the Michinoku Driver II but MAO then followed up with the Iai Kick. Levante couldn’t get back up after that and the match ended by ruling of Knockout.
With another successful defence under his belt, MAO didn’t stay in the ring for long because he had his autograph session to get to. Sasadango gathered everyone else together to close out the show. He praised everyone for giving the audience the ultimate Muscle experience today. They were really running for time at this point so Levante, Masada and Ilusion led everyone in a “Muscle, Muscle and Muscle” chant to finish the event.

The Hero of Niigata suffered a crushing defeat for his homecoming but he doesn’t mind that. Super Sasadango Machine has a lot of history with HARASHIMA going back to Sasadango’s very first match in June 2002 when a trainee named Yoshihiro Sakai fought HARASHIMA’s masked alter ego HERO! in the dark match. Sakai didn’t properly debut until 2004 and he wrestled for years as Muscle Sakai before retiring and then returning under the hood as Super Sasadango Machine. Because of this history, Sasadango made a request for today’s match against HARASHIMA to commemorate the 24th Anniversary of his very first match because he wonders how his career would have turned out if he had kicked out of the HERO! Splash at the 2.9 count. During the match HARASHIMA purposely used HERO!’s moves on Sasadango including the HERO! Splash. Sasadango soon decided to wrestle the rest of the match unmasked so he could catch his breath and he combated HARASHIMA’s Middle Kicks with Dropkicks. He also hit the Vertical Drop Lehman Shock but HARASHIMA kicked out of it and soon hit the Somato for the victory.
After the match HARASHIMA thanked Sasadango for bringing back some fun memories they made together. Sasadango was still lying on the mat when he asked HARASHIMA how he could move around so easily when their careers are just one year apart? Sasadango was never able to close that gap but it is because of these gaps that people like Sasadango are able to keep wrestling. This might be the last singles match they’re ever going to have (HARASHIMA disagreed) but Sasadango wants everyone from his generation to stick around and work hard for DDT a little while longer.
There were rumblings going about that a new wrestling unit wanted to form to fight against Strange Love Connection. Before Match #5 began Danshoku Dieno, Kazuki Hirata & Antonio Honda wanted to create a new faction called DAH. They came up with the name because the wrestlers would turn into Dieno The Dangerous, Anton The Amazing and Hirata The Heel. SLC decided to turn the match into a Captain’s Fall Handicap Match. If SLC lost then they would split up so DAH could take their place as a DDT unit! SLC actually almost lost the match with most of their members getting eliminated and the team captain KIMIHIRO getting knocked out with a chair shot. But KANON saved the day by pinning captain Hirata directly to win the match and prevent DAH from ever becoming a thing.
Sasadango did not wrestle the match wearing his Sasadango Championship belt because Ilusion still holds claim to that title. At the end of the show Ilusion brought the belt out to brag about it. While doing that he became unaware of Danshoku Dieno sneaking into the ring behind him. Dieno turned Ilusion around and gave him the Lip Lock before pinning him to win the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title.

It’s only feels recent when Daichi Sato joined DDT and he’s already getting a commemorative match to celebrate his pro debut. Wrestling’s weird sometimes.
Doctors have not cleared Rukiya to return to the ring next week after he took a medical exam for his pharyngitis and tonsillitis diagnosis. He will now take rest for a couple of more weeks and won’t get to return until October. Yuki Ishida is bumped up to the main card to take Rukiya’s place on this show while Tomomitsu Matsunaga is now added to the dark match.

The weird world of Super Japan continues to grow. Sanshiro Takagi has somehow convinced a business associate of his to debut as a pro wrestler! GAJI is 52 years old, 183cm tall and weighs 120kg. He has an atheltic background in Karate, Judo, kickboxing and shoot fighting. It was with this background that GAJI was once scouted by K1 as well as some pro wrestling promotions. The idea behind this is for Takagi and GAJI to inspire all of the hard working middle aged people or older out there.

The Kanda Myojin temple has been a busy location regarding Tokyo Joshi Pro this week. TJPW held a press conference there yesterday to promote three of the title matches taking place at “WRESTLE PRINCESS VII” next month. Suzume said TJPW has taught her that she can pursue as many dreams as she wants no matter her age which is why she is greedy enough to challenge for the Princess Of Princess Title while also holding the International Princess Title. She thinks back to when she and Yuki Arai were younger. While Arai was performing on stage as a shining idol, Suzume was a shut in doing nothing but giving up on her dreams. Now the two will fight each other over the same dream and Suzume believes they will have the best match at EBARA WAVE Arena on 3rd October. Arai is so impressed by how much Suzume has grown not just in strength but also radiating with confidence. Arai admits she cannot match that drive but she will be entering the match as if she is the one challenging Suzume, not the other way around. Her goal is not to stop Suzume’s momentum or halt her progress. Instead she wants to create a new whirlwind that will propel herself even higher than Suzume!
One half of Shunrai Rekka!! Prism Greed is having a crisis of confidence heading into the Princess Tag Team Titles match. The prelim matches have made Haru Kazashiro consider that she is not on Daydream’s level and her own weaknesses have been exposed too much. Yuki Aino had to interrupt and motivate her, reminding Kazashiro of the Kamen Rider Hibiki episode where it is said that if you do not train your heart to be strong then you will lose. Kazashiro also remembers a quote from Kamen Rider Ghost about how you haven’t lost yet when you don’t think you lost. Prism Greed got even more motivated when they discovered Daydream when combined together look just like Evolt, the bad guy from Kamen Rider Build. Rika Tatsumi thinks it is cute that Prism Greed act like a newly dating couple. She wouldn’t mind if Miu Watanabe acted more affectionate towards her. But enough about that, the prelim matches have been a breeze for Daydream and beating small fry teams is part of what they need to do to break the record for most Princess Tag Title defences. Watanabe believes it is destiny for the strongest tag team to achieve that.
The EVE International Title match is kind of turning into a war of words about fashion. By representing EVE as one of their champions, Miyu Yamashita wants to defend the title and become a sophisticated woman worthy of Great Britain. She pointed out that the super colorful outfit Arisu Endo was wearing would stand out too much in the UK. She doesn’t deny that Endo has great fashion taste but she wouldn’t blend into the streets of London like Yamashita does with her current chic look. Yamashita’s mind is so set on representing the UK that even her watch is on English time instead of Japan. Endo warned Yamashita not to get jetlag over this because she wants to beat her at her best otherwise she wouldn’t be satisfied with taking the title from a sleepy champion. She also thinks Yamashita’s chic outfit is so plain and bland. There are so many colours in the world that Yamashita should at least use some of them. Yamashita fired back that Endo is so flashy that she’s exhausting to look at. By British standards her outfit would be 43 points out of 100.
In other news Kumadori’s dance group O-MENZ will be part of the show, performing during the entrance of Kumadori’s team with Aja Kong & Sakura Hattori.

We’re a month early but we are approaching a decade of Yuki Ueno as a pro wrestler. Inspired to take up the gig with DDT by his high school classmate Konosuke Takeshita, Ueno cut his teeth in DDT’s developmental brand DNA and stood in Takeshita’s shadow under for a good chunk of his career. However Ueno gradually became a polished main eventer and by the time 2023 came around he made it his goal to carry the company on his back. It was only in the last year or two he cemented himself as the company’s modern day ace. One of the wrestlers who has been by his side the entire time was his choice of opponent for the main event, Shunma Katsumata.
After some cheeky NeppoWER!! poses from the two wrestlers at the start of the match, Ueno went high risk quickly by doing a Moonsault out of the ring onto Katsumata. In return, Katsumata got back into the ring so he could dive into Ueno with a Topé Con Hilo. They then fought up to the stands where Ueno Suplexed Katsumata down the steps into the lobby. He tried to pin him right there but was reminded by Yukinori Matsui this was not a Falls Count Anywhere match. To-y joined in on the fun to throw Chops at Ueno until Katsumata accidentally knocked him down with a misfire. Katsumata then had the idea to pile Ueno on top of To-y then climb up the entry way to hit the Totonou Splash onto the both of them on the floor! Back in the ring Ueno kicked out of the ¡Hasta la vista! and blocked a second Totonou Splash. He then fought back using the Sit Down Himawari Bomb, Standing Shining Wizard, two Dropkicks and then the WR to get the win over his buddy.
Ueno thanked Katsumata after the match because he had taught him so much ever since the beginning. Katsumata had already debuted when Ueno started training but somewhere down the line the dynamic between them changed and now it’s Katsumata who treats Ueno like he’s his senior. Ueno said he got his strength from Katsumata and has so much respect for him. It is also thanks to Takeshita that Ueno fell in love with pro wrestling. Speaking of Takeshita, he walked down to the ring after Ueno talked about DDT’s goal to one day make it to the Tokyo Dome. After Takeshita congratulated Ueno on his anniversary, he said he wants to go with DDT to the Tokyo Dome too because when they do he will fight Ueno there one on one! Ueno agreed to the idea and confirmed it will happen when DDT gets to the Tokyo Dome! Backstage, Katsumata talked to reporters about having really bad luck, enough that it made him think about giving up. But everybody in The 37KAMIINA is always there to support him and he wants to see bigger things in DDT alongside them. He is thankful that Ueno was able to keep the unit together while he was out injured.
The matches that took place up and down the card were all put together by Ueno, mostly because they were just matches he wanted to see happen. For Takeshita’s return to DDT, Ueno wanted to relight the spark a bit for the ALL OUT Vs Sendai Girls feud from 2019. Takeshita would once more face Chihiro Hashimoto in a battle of the German Suplexes! To-y and Kazuma Sumi were both in the match too because it was a tag team bout but it turned out they were there to be German Suplexed around by Takeshita and Hashimoto. Takeshita proved his version of the move was the best by using that instead of the Raging Fire to pin Sumi. It looked like he and Hashimoto would continue to fight after the match but they bowed to each other instead.
Takeshita felt his actions in the ring said everything he wanted to say about the match but he told reporters that he thinks the future of pro wrestling in Japan is incredibly bright based on how the others fared in the ring with him. To-y has come out of the match learning that he has to be the real deal and not turn into a fake version of himself. He needs to become the ultimate real deal so he can be “The Authentic” To-y. Then he can show on the world stage that “The Authentic” can beat “The Alpha”. Takeshita told him he’s a million years too early for that. To-y responded he’ll just wait until he’s a million years old then. Sumi asked Hashimoto if maybe someday he can appear on a Sendai Girls show. Hashimoto said Sumi looks close enough to Yurika Oka that Meiko Satomura probably wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.
The entrances alone for Match #5 were an overriding feast for the senses. Kazuki Hirata got to dance in full then handed over his glasses to Kaisei Takechi to get him wearing them for the photographers at ringside. Yoshihiko’s entrance music had an added angry rap from KIMIHIRO added to it while the Battle Doll entered the ring with MAO and YUZUKI. Takechi got to learn first hand what a tricky opponent Yoshihiko can be and he was overwhelmed by its teamwork with MAO. Hirata ended up getting his elbow dislocated by an Arm Lock from Yoshihiko but Takechi came to the rescue by using the Tegatana neck strike he learned from Hirata on his opponents! He then used his power of dance to heal Hirata’s elbow so they could both dance in the ring together. They just didn’t expect MAO & Yoshihiko to recover during this and attack them. They almost made a comeback but instead Yoshihiko gave Takechi the Reincarnation while MAO pinned Hirata with a Spinning Brainbuster. Backstage MAO said he was happy to team up with Yoshihiko again after they lost the BZW Tag Team Titles earlier this year. Unfortunately it’s been so long since they last went to France that Yoshihiko has forgotten to speak French. MAO suggested it could be time for them to travel somewhere else, like Southeast Asia. Meanwhile Takechi cannot figure out what he just experienced when fighting Yoshihiko. The doll never changes its expression yet its weight can dramatically shift as the match progresses. Hirata asked if Takechi would ever like to fight Yoshihiko in a singles match. Takechi would have to speak with LDH first to get their opinion on the matter.
Days after getting a beating at the big RIZIN show, Shinya Aoki was game to take part in a 3 Way Match pitting himself against both HARASHIMA and Akito. The three ended up getting constantly tangled into each other with different submission holds and pinning combinations that still had the third person getting involved. HARASHIMA broke through with an opening when he did a Springboard Splash onto Akito while Aoki had him trapped in a Figure 4 Leg Lock. HARASHIMA then aimed for the Somato at Aoki but Aoki dodged it. Aoki then applied his Aoki Clutch finisher but Akito tried to stop it by applying a Leg Lock. Aoki figured out he could still roll the both of them over in the hold and pin both of his opponent’s shoulders down for a three count. Matsui counted the pin on Akito and that was all Aoki needed for the win. After the match Aoki said he has returned to DDT with his head held high and is going to live his life here one step at a time. He then thanked Ueno on his 10th Anniversary. He was later reminded backstage that he has a match with Zack Sabre Jr. coming up at “ULTIMATE PARTY 2026” on 3rd November. He thinks Mikuru Asakura’s punching him in the head over and over made him forget about it until it was brought up again by the reporters.
Ueno took part in two matches on today’s show. For the first match of the day he wanted to team with one of his biggest inspirations as well as one of his biggest enemies to help teach the wrestlers he mentored from DDTeeeen!!! a thing or two. That meant Ueno was teaming up with Osaka masked wrestler HUB as well as a not too thrilled Daisuke Sasaki. The D GENERATIONS team were joined by the injured Munetatsu Nakamura at ringside. Sasaki was more interested in sabotaging Ueno’s spots rather than teaming up with him. But things went pear shaped for Sasaki when he was tagged in to fight his own stablemate Ilusion. Sasaki instructed Ilusion to lay down for him but when he went for the pin, Ilusion suddenly cradled him for a nearfall! Ilusion then started working together with Yuni to try and win. Sasaki had HUB there to help him fight off Daichi Sato & Yuni. He then finally agreed to wrestle side by side with Ueno so they could set HUB up to win with his version of the Frog Splash on Yuni. Sasaki later reminisced about Ueno’s time as a rookie ten years ago. He remembers telling Ueno he has no talent and should go home to the Osaka countryside where he can run a bicycle shop. Meanwhile Ilusion complained about being lumped in with a bunch of brats because he doesn’t have time to play games with punks like them.
There was a Tag Rumble match to add some nonsense to the undercard. Jun Akiyama & Danshoku Dieno ended up running the gauntlet and winning the match as the first entries. Yukio Naya started the match expecting a Lip Lock from Dieno only for Dieno to turn him down. By the time Toru Owashi & Yasu Urano entered the match, Naya chased down Dieno to give him the Lip Lock himself. KANON entered the match wearing matching outfits with Antonio Honda but Yuya Koroku tripped Honda before he could set up the Gongitsune joke. Super Sasadango Machine brought along a new tag partner named Super Systema Machine. The mystery fighter was later unmasked to reveal it was the comedian Minamikawa. He used the powers of Systema to redirect Koroku into knocking Naya out of the ring to eliminate the both of them. With Koroku gone, Honda got to do Gongitsune and KANON joined in with him. The Gongitsune charged up through Dieno’s Hell Gate backfired and sent Honda over the top rope, out of the ring. The final team then entered. It was Takeshi Masada who had now fully transformed into Konosuke Takeshita and along with him was Sakura Hirota as Shin Yuki Ueno! Together their impersonations cleared the ring until Hirota/Ueno got spooked into submission by Akiyama attempting to give her the Exploder Suplex. Akiyama then kept shoving Minamikawa into Dieno’s Hell Gate over and over but Minamikawa kept showing resistance thanks to his Systema training. Akiyama then decided to put him in the Front Neck Lock and Minamikawa quickly tapped out. At least the Sasadango team now know that Systema does not work when your breathing gets cut off.
One wrestler who means a lot to Ueno is Naomi Yoshimura, one of his generation rivals and also former tag team partner in Nautilus. For this show Ueno wanted to see Yoshimura take on his former Harimao stablemate Yuki Ishida. The essence of Harimao was seen during the match when Yoshimura held Ishida in the Claw Hold that used to be used by Kazusada Higuchi. He encouraged Ishida to come at him but easily threw him down until it was time to end him off with the Shonenba, a finisher that Yoshimura has not used in a while. Yoshimura praised Ueno for leading the pack in DDT. He admits to being frustrated that Ueno got to win championships and reach milestones before he did. It used to make him jealous and even bitter but he does not feel that way about it anymore. Yoshimura is determined to elevate the DDT heavyweight scene because it is his generation that are currently on top. He also gave Ishida advice, telling him he shouldn’t go easy on himself and needs to become ruthless. Ishida also learned he is relying too much on his seniors, so much so that it’s become a crutch for him to lean on.
Even the dark match was put together by Ueno to be something he wanted to watch, pitting five crazy wrestlers all against each other in a Falls Count Anywhere free for all that took place while the fans were entering Korkauen Hall. Despite having so much free time before the show began, Kuroshio TOKYO Japan still took so long with his entrance that Hisaya Imabayashi demanded the match start before Kuroshio could do an encore. Chris Brookes kept grabbing Bunbun and throwing him into the audience before briefly settling down in the commentary booth to call the action. He and Masada then held Sanshiro Takagi in place for Minoru Suzuki to do the giant rubber band spot in the crowd. However Takagi broke free and snapped the band back at Suzuki instead. He then brought out the Dramatic Dream bike only for Suzuki to kick him off, take it over and crash it into him in the aisle. Matsui got caught in the crossfire when Suzuki was attacking people with the drill taken from the bike. The fighting then moved over to the lobby where it interrupted To-y’s photo session before the chaos went back to ringside. Suzuki and Kuroshio found a trolley and used it to push Masada and Brookes around the room. Suzuki posed with fans for photos while Kuroshio set up tables and a ladder in the ring. Soon all of Kuroshio’s opponents were laid on the tables so he climbed to the top and jumped off to do the Swanton Bomb. Everyone got out of the way and Kuroshio crashed through the tables on his own. Brookes grabbed a piece of a broken table and smashed it over Takagi, causing it to get stuck around Takagi’s neck with his head poking through the hole. Imabayashi got on the microphone while Brookes and Suzuki were fighting each other, asking for the match to wrap up so the show can start on time. Brookes wouldn’t listen so Imabayashi hit him with a Backfist out of frustration. Takagi then grabbed Brookes and pinned him with La Magistral Cradle, possibly getting extra leverage from the table piece stuck round his neck! With this result, Takagi now has the Right To Challenge Gauntlet in his grasp!

Niigata is the home of Super Sasadango Machine so he’s getting a big match for DDT’s return to the area. This time he’s facing HARASHIMA one on one. The two have some history together. Mainly 12 years ago when Sasadango originally created the Vertical Drop Lehman Shock as the finisher that was guaranteed to beat HARASHIMA for the KO-D Title… if he was able to hit it three times in their match. His plan didn’t work back then.

There was a Spirit Of Ganbare World Title match that happened in FREEDOMS this past Sunday when Mizuki Watase defended the title against Jun Kasai. The two were previously a tag team together in FREEDOMS and they even held the King Of FREEDOM World Tag Team Titles until recently. It was a match held under normal rules and Watase was able to beat Kasai to remain as champion. His next challenger has already been determined. Yumehito Imanari is turning 41 years old at this show and demanded he face the champion here so he can win the title on his birthday!
The regional battles waging within Ganbare☆Pro are continuing with the Toyama wrestlers now attracting the attention of wrestlers associated with the Naka Ward in Yokohama. Shuichiro Katsumura has drafted in Minoru Fujita to help him out and has another person on the way over to fight Ohka’s team of Toyama boys.

Over the weekend Shunrai Rekka!! Prism Greed became the No. 1 Contenders for the Princess Tag Team Titles. This is going to be the second time Yuki Aino & Haru Kazashiro are challenging for the titles together. Aino was half-responsible for ending Daydream’s first reign as champs at the very first “WRESTLE PRINCESS” back in 2020. Can she do it again with Kazashiro this time or will Miu Watanabe & Rika Tatsumi prevent history from repeating itself.
The participants for the 3 Way Tag Match will be revealed soon, maybe even by the time I post this update.

Ohka has not learned his lesson. He still wants to celebrate his 25th Anniversary and has gotten another match booked this year to continue the party despite protests from Imanari for relying on the marketing gimmick too much. His next opponent in this series is going to be HARASHIMA.
