MAO’s Coming Home, Ueno’s Super Dark Match, Are The Mystery Partners Really A Mystery?

DDT “SENDAI NEW LEGEND 2026 ~MAPO YAKISOBA~”, 06/09/2026
Miyagi Yume Messe Miyagi

1. Makoto Oishi Vs Masami Inahata
2. Junta Miyawaki & Yuki Ishida Vs Yuki Iino & Yukio Naya
3. Shunma Katsumata, Danshoku Dieno & Yuni Vs Kazuki Hirata, Akito & Hinata Kasai
4. Chris Brookes, HARASHIMA & Antonio Honda Vs Jun Akiyama, Tomomitsu Matsunaga & Kazuma Sumi
5. DAMNATION T.A Vs paleyouth!: Daisuke Sasaki, Hideki Okatani & Ilusion Vs Takeshi Masada, Yuya Koroku & Daichi Sato
6. Special 6-Man Tag Match: MAO, KANON & Viento Levante (w/ KIMIHIRO) Vs Yuki Ueno, To-y & Kaisei Takechi

Next weekend MAO is going home to Miyagi as the KO-D Openweight Champion for the first time! It feels like he’s made that promise several times over the years and now he finally gets to do it. Kaisei Takechi being in the match too might help draw more attention to the main event.

It’s been a while since The Apex had a tag team match without the rest of Strange Love Connection involved. Yuki Iino has a busy NOAH schedule coming up but he and Yukio Naya would be a good KO-D Tag Team Titles defence for Junta Miyawaki to try and achieve with Shinya Aoki somewhere down the line.

0. Dark Match: Shunma Katsumata & Yuni Vs Akito & Hinata Kasai

5. Special 6-Man Tag Match: Takeshi Masada, Yuya Koroku & Daichi Sato Vs To-y, Kazuma Sumi & Kaisei Takechi
6. Special Tag Match: MAO & Yuki Iino Vs Fuminori Abe & HARASHIMA

The next DDT match for Kumadori is here so it should also turn into a chaotic scramble for the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title with all those people in the ring.

Takechi and paleyouth are going to be dealing with each other a lot more with both parties being involved in the revival of Muscle happening later this year.

DDT “YUKI UENO 10TH ANNIVERSARY SHOW -IN MY MIND “10”-”, 13/09/2026

1. Naomi Yoshimura Vs Yuki Ishida
2. Time-Difference Entry Tag Team Rumble: Jun Akiyama & Danshoku Dieno Vs KANON & Antonio Honda Vs Yukio Naya & Yuya Koroku Vs Toru Owashi & Yasu Urano Vs Super Sasadango Machine & S.S.M Vs X & X
3. 3 Way Match: Shinya Aoki Vs HARASHIMA Vs Akito

6. Special Tag Match: KONOSUKE TAKESHITA & To-y Vs Chihiro Hashimoto & Kazuma Sumi
7. Yuki Ueno 10th Anniversary Match ~ Special Single Match: Yuki Ueno Vs Shunma Katsumata

There are going to be two DDT shows happening at Korakuen Hall in September. The first is Yuki Ueno’s anniversary show. He’s added a Tag Team Rumble with a lot of mixed up teams in there. Also he figured the best place to put a crazy Falls Count Anywhere match between Minoru Suzuki, Sanshiro Takagi, Chris Brookes, Kuroshio TOKYO Japan and Takeshi Masada is in the pre-show. What is this, an AEW PPV?

DDT “DRAMATIC INFINITY 2026 ~AUTUMN OF PRO WRESTLING~”, 21/09/2026
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles: KANON, Yukio Naya & Viento Levante (c) (w/ KIMIHIRO & YUZUKI) Vs Daisuke Sasaki, Hideki Okatani & Ilusion
2. DDT Universal Title: Ryusuke Taguchi (c) Vs Antonio Honda
3. KO-D Openweight Title: MAO (c) Vs Fuminori Abe

MAO is quick to use his KO-D Title reign as something he can settle past grudges with. He has noticed Fuminori Abe has been hanging around the DDT undercard for the last few weeks and he has unfinished business with him. Two years ago MAO and Abe feuded over the DDT Universal Title where the buildup revolved around Abe getting kicked so hard during a match that it made him throw up a little. There’s no worry about that happening again but Abe does consider MAO to be a rival among his generation, one that he must defeat!

The story between Ryusuke Taguchi and Antonio Honda is a little more personal. Taguchi’s son is a fan of Honda’s band so Honda promised to win the Universal Title and pose for a picture with the son! That doesn’t bother Taguchi too much because his son was never interested in taking a picture with his dad holding any of the championships he’s won in the past.

1. DDT Extreme Title: Shunma Katsumata (c) Vs Ryota Nakatsu

Earlier this month Ryota Nakatsu beat Shunma Katsumata at BASARA’s Korakuen show. The rematch is going down at DDT’s final show to be held in Shinjuku FACE. Katsumata is also putting the DDT Extreme Title on the line to motivate him into finally surpassing his DNA rival.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “WRESTLE PRINCESS VII”, 03/10/2026
Tokyo EBARA WAVE Arena Ota

1. 3 Way Tag Match: Raku & X Vs Pom Harajuku & X Vs Mahiro Kiryu & X
2. VENYU Finale: Yuki Kamifuku & VENY Vs X & X
3. Princess Tag Team Titles: Miu Watanabe & Rika Tatsumi (c) Vs Winners Of 05/09 Decision Match
4. Princess Of Princess Title: Yuki Arai (c) Vs Suzume

Mystery partners are being teased for a 3 Way Tag Match that’s been added to the show. Normally for a big show like this we would get Raku teaming with Ram Kaichow as wife and husband again, Pom Harajuku hanging out with Max The Impaler under the team name Pompaler and Mahiro Kiryu getting into lookalike shenanigans with Kakeru Sekiguchi. Surely it’s not going to be that predictable here, right?

5. KO-D Tag Team Titles: Shinya Aoki & Junta Miyawaki (c) defeated Danshoku Dieno & Kazuki Hirata when Miyawaki pinned Hirata with the Sunshine Clutch (10:47).
*V1 for Shinya Aoki & Junta Miyawaki.
6. DDT Universal Title: Ryusuke Taguchi (c) defeated Daisuke Sasaki with the Cross Ankle Hold (14:18).
*V1 for Ryusuke Taguchi.
7. KO-D Openweight Title: MAO (c) defeated Daichi Sato with the Cannonball 450° (23:27).
*V2 for MAO.

Tomorrow could have been a wonderful 18th birthday for Daichi Sato if he had won today’s main event and become the youngest KO-D Openweight Champion in history. MAO had to nearly tear the ring apart to stop that from happening. When Sato kicked out of the Michinoku Driver and the Palm Strike, MAO took things a few steps further by pulling back the ring mat and removing the canvas so most of the boards were left exposed. The idea backfired and almost cost MAO the match when Sato gave him the Avalanche Fire Thunder onto the boards. MAO’s saving grace came when Sato decided to climb back up top to do the Mad Splash. It was blocked by MAO’s knees, opening up his chance to make a comeback. After a strike exchange MAO hit Sato with the Iai Kick followed by a Brainbuster onto the boards. He was then able to finish him off with the Cannonball 450° after all of that.

After the match MAO admitted he won using childish tactics but he lived up to his promise to give Sato a Summer vacation he would never forget. But since Sato is still in high school, he has some homework to finish. MAO told him to grow bigger and fight him again because Sato’s homework is to one day beat MAO no matter how long it takes him! Hisaya Imabayashi got into the ring to ask MAO who he wants to defend the KO-D Title against at Korkauen Hall on 21st September? MAO said there is one annoying person who has been hanging around DDT since last month’s Sumo Hall show and he wants to fight him again. Fuminori Abe walked down to the ring asking if MAO is talking about him? As someone who survives as a wrestler on the indies, Abe sees it as his goal to take down MAO. They have history with each other over the DDT Universal Title and now it will be reignited over the KO-D Championship!

The dance of DDT isn’t ending for Ryusuke Taguchi anytime soon. He remains the DDT Universal Champion after beating Daisuke Sasaki in a rematch that was 14 years in the making. Taguchi and Sasaki last had a singles match against each other in the 2012 Best Of The Super Jr. tournament. Plus they also had a match in the same tournament a year prior. Sasaki relied in MJ Paul & Ilusion to interfere early then tried to win by countout by hitting the Super Diving Elbow while Taguchi was seated in the front row. Taguchi made it back to the ring in time and used his wrestling knowledge to counter the Crossface Lock into the Angle Lock. Sasaki fought to reach for the ropes until Taguchi pulled him back and Elbow Dropped the back of his leg before applying another Ankle Hold. This time Sasaki couldn’t do anything about it and tapped out. Sasaki is now zero for four against Taguchi in singles matches but he unusually showed respect to him after the match by giving him a fist bump. Backstage he said he would even like to form a team with Taguchi so they can destroy DDT together!

Taguchi met with Akito after the match to learn who the next Universal Title challenger is going to be. It’s Antonio Honda and it turns out he’s closer to Taguchi than most people realise. Taguchi’s son is a student at the Tokyo College of Music and is also a fan of Honda’s band Daisetz, enough to become acquainted with Honda. According to Honda, when he beats Taguchi for the Universal Title he is going to take a picture of himself holding the belt with Taguchi’s son! Taguchi doesn’t appear to feel any insult over that because he already knows his son would rather pose for a picture with Honda instead of his father. But if Honda has a son then Taguchi will go take a picture with him for free if he wins on 21st September. This match is important enough for Taguchi to skip the New Japan show taking place in Hokkaido on the same day! Honda left the ring when the challenge was confirmed and Taguchi performed his dance with Kazuma Sumi to wind up his appearance for the show.

It looks like Shinya Aoki & Junta Miyawaki will be able to keep their promise to bring the KO-D Tag Team Titles to RIZIN next month. First they had to deal with Danshoku Dieno’s wrestling while Kazuki Hirata fought in a way that was more fired up than usual. Dieno’s Lip Locks did their damage to both champions and he felt the way to finish things was to go full Hell Gate leaning over the top rope. Aoki ended up going face first in there, incapacitating him. Hirata tried to capitalized by putting Miyawaki in the Miracle One Shot Cradle but Miyawaki kicked out of it and immediately countered with the Sunshine Clutch to pin Hirata while Dieno was too preoccupied to stop the three count. Now when Aoki fights Mikuru Asakura at RIZIN on 10th September, Miyawaki can carry the belts down to the ring for Aoki’s entrance!

Two championships were on the line when Shunma Katsumata fought Kumadori. Since one of the belts Katsumata held going into the match was the DDT Extreme Title that meant he could pick the match stipulation too. He chose a No Repeat Rule that prohibited wrestlers from using the same move twice (excluding strikes). Doing so would disqualify the wrestler and they also could lose by being knocked over the top rope out of the ring. Kumadori scored nearfalls with a Top Rope Frankensteiner and also the Air Double Helio. Katsumata kicked out of them and later found himself in a quandary when Kumadori kicked out of the Totonou Splash. He figured it out by using a German Suplex to win the match and retain his championship.

After the match Katsumata told Kumadori he’s been a part of DDT ever since he started wrestling so he is no longer considered as just a guest around here. Katsumata is certain he will be fighting with and against Kumadori more often in the future. He is looking forward to it and welcomes Kumadori as a member of the promotion. Kumadori shook his hand but then suddenly kicked him below the belt and pinned him with an Inside Cradle to win the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title, the other belt that was on the line in the match that just happened! He ran off, leaving Katsumata to quickly change the subject towards his next Extreme Title defence. He wants a rematch with the BASARA wrestler Ryota Nakatsu, feeling the need to surpass his former rival from DNA. BASARA later responded to DDT telling them Nakatsu accepted the challenge. The match will happen at DDT’s final Shinjuku FACE show taking place on 27th September.

There is less than a month left to go for the remaining Right To Challenge Gauntlets to be cashed in. Chris Brookes still has the standard red Gauntlet in his posession but Honda lost the purple Anytime Anywhere Anytime Anywhere on this show to its original creator Ilusion. That happened during the 3 Way Trios match between Strange Love Connection, DAMNATION T.A and FANTÔMES DRAMATIC. MJ Paul fought off KANON while Hideki Okatani hit the Claymore on Yukio Naya. After that Hinata Kasai see-sawed off the ropes to throw a punch at Okatani then got a High Kick to the head from Viento Levante. Honda suffered a Shining Gongitsune misfire but still had his wits about to cradle Ilusion for a nearfall. Ilusion kicked out though and used a Cravate style elevated cradle to pin Honda and win the match. After the match Ilusion bragged about being the holder of all the KO-D 10-Man Tag Team Titles, the Sasadango Title belt and now the Right To Challenge AAAA Gauntlet. He warned the holder of the other Gauntlet that he is going to cash in whenever he wants and then on 21st September he’ll use that Gauntlet he wins to take some other loser’s championship! Meanwhile Okatani said SLC have made the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles worthless and they should be thankful that DAMNATION T.A are challenging them for those belts.

Abe got all the preparation he needed to set up his KO-D Title challenge by teaming up with Jun Akiyama earlier on the card. His trusty Snap Punch hit the target that is Yuki Ueno’s face but giving a Penalty Kick to To-y made his opponent go wild and slap anybody who got close to him. Abe cut off the unusual comeback with a Knuckle Punch and had Akiyama nearby to give To-y a Running Knee Strike to halt any momentum To-y was building up. Abe then tangled To-y up in the Manjigatama and pulled him down to the mat to stretch him into submission.

A bunch of DDT veterans walked down memory lane as four members of Smile Squash reunited in the opening match. Soma Takao will be leaving DDT soon so this could be the last time he gets to team with HARASHIMA, Akito & Yasu Urano all at the same time. They fought at a disadvantage from the get go when the other team launched the first attack. Akito fought off Sumi while HARASHIMA went blow to blow with Takeshi Masada. Later Yuya Koroku led his team to all gang up on Takao with Masami Inahata giving him a Tilt-O-Whirl Slam for a nearfall. All of Smile Squash then came in to attack Inahata one after another ending with a Running Elbow Butt from Takao for a two count. After that Inahata was pretty much done and Takao finished him off with the Gin And Tonic. Backstage Akito told Takao that DDT will give him the best possible send-off that the promotion can offer him when he leaves in October. Takao appreciates it and joked he could still show up in DDT on his own as a freelancer after he leaves.

The pre-show match had Tomomitsu Matsunaga perhaps revealing a bit too much about where his priorities lie when he exclaimed jealousy towards Yuni for becoming a college student because he now gets to hang out with college girls. Yuni also assisted Yuki Ishida in trying to take down Naomi Yoshimura but in the end, Yoshimura threw down Ishida with the Harai-goshi to get the win for his team.

In the middle of the show Sanshiro Takagi came down to the ring and invited Super Sasadango Machine to come join him. He brought up that it’s been four years since the Muscle sub-brand ended. Sasadango’s project was key in developing DDT’s wrestlers into what they are today and the time has come for it to come back for the sake of improving D GENERATIONS as well as Kaisei Takechi. Sasadango understood and agreed to do a Muscle kind of show again as soon as DDT can set one up for him. It turns out they found an available date for Korakuen Hall open for 1st October so they can go book that. Imabayashi went into a panic thinking it would be impossible to pull off but Akito and Sasadango both think this next revival of Muscle can be successfully pulled off with only one month of notice.

6. DDT Universal Title: Ryusuke Taguchi (c) Vs Daisuke Sasaki
7. KO-D Openweight Title: MAO (c) Vs Daichi Sato

The stakes for the match between Shunma Katsumata and Kumadori have suddenly grown higher. Katsumata recently won the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title so he now has to defend that belt alongside the DDT Extreme Title. He also decided on the match stipulation where he and Kumadori are not allowed to repeat their moves. The match can be won either under normal circumstances, by throwing your opponent over the top rope out of the ring or if they get disqualified for doing the same move twice. However striking moves are generic enough to not count towards the stipulation so Kumadori can at least rely on punching and kicking to make up for his limited moveset.

The Right To Challenge Gauntlet holders going into this weekend’s show are Chris Brookes (Red) and Antonio Honda (Purple AAAA).

4. Crocodile Death Match Final Chapter: MAO, Yuki Iino, Yukio Naya & Viento Levante (w/ KIMIHIRO & YUZUKI) defeated Crocodile D Sasa, Hideki Okatani, MJ Paul & Ilusion when MAO pinned Ilusion with the Michinoku Driver II into the Bucket (9:40).
5. KING OF DRUNK 2026 ~August Basho~: Yuki Ueno & Chris Brookes defeated Kazuki Hirata & Hinata Kasai when Ueno pinned Hirata after a Lariat from Hinata (16:18).
6. KING OF “Non-Alcoholic” DRUNK 2026: Danshoku Dieno Vs Takeshi Masada Vs Daichi Sato Vs Yuni ended in a No Contest (10:51).
6a. Emergency Match: Yuki Ueno, Chris Brookes, Kazuki Hirata & Hinata Kasai defeated Danshoku Dieno, Takeshi Masada, Daichi Sato & Yuni when Brookes pinned Dieno with a Piledriver in the Pool (7:56).
*Chris Brookes wins Danshoku Dieno’s Right To Challenge Anytime Anywhere Gauntlet.

DDT’s attempt at integrating the sober wrestlers into their Beer Garden show hit a bit of a setback. The KING OF “Non-Alcoholic” DRUNK match was put in the main event where the participants drank cola instead of beer whenever music was played. It was done this way because Daichi Sato and Yuni are not old enough to drink yet while Danshoku Dieno and Takeshi Masada had their own reasons not to spend the day drinking booze. The problem with this is everyone drank so much cola that they all felt too bloated to continue wrestling. All of the drunk wrestlers from the match before then entered the ring and got into an arguement, leading to an impromptu 8-Man Tag Match taking place between the beer drinkers and the cola drinkers.

During the match everyone forced each other to drink bottles of cola while they wrestled. The fighting moved out of the ring where Chris Brookes gave Dieno a cola filled Lip Lock before Piledriving him into a paddle pool full of water for the victory. Brookes has now won the Right To Challenge Anytime Anywhere Gauntlet but he was too drunk to figure out what to do. He knows MAO will be defending the KO-D Openweight Title against Sato soon but thinks Sato will win and then he can cash in the title shot on him. Something to also keep in mind is that Antonio Honda won the Right To Challenge Anytime Anywhere Anytime Anywhere Gauntlet from KANON earlier in the show. Both Gauntlets are active until 27th September.

The Crocodile Death Match again brought back bad memories for Daisuke Sasaki. There was a crocodile sighting that happened at Shakujii Park in Nerima back in 1993 and the incident seems to have scarred him for life. He couldn’t sleep last night and was too sleep deprived to wrestle so he was replaced in the match by Crocodile D Sasa. However as the match progressed Sasa was eventually stripped out of his costume and was revealed to be Daisuke Sasaki all along!

Junta Miyawaki was all business for his match because he is getting ready to defend the KO-D Tag Team Titles soon. After his match he sent a message out to Rukiya, telling him to get better so they can have their title match together as originally planned. He isn’t going to take his new opponents Dieno or Kazuki Hirata lightly because he is well aware of how important they both are to DDT. If they get serious then Miyawaki knows he and Shinya Aoki will not be getting an easy defence.

The show opening Rock ‘N’ Roll Death Match ended up with Shunma Katsumata and Kazuma Sumi doing some light Danshoku Dieno spots with To-y. Katsumata gave him a Lip Lock so Sumi could roll him over into a Gaydo Clutch for the pin. Then as the team celebrated their win, Katsumata gave Sumi the Lip Lock and then pinned him with the Gaydo Clutch to win the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title.

There was a KO-D Title match contract signing for MAO and Daichi Sato before any of the matches began. Sato said he is not anxious or scared at all about the match. In fact, his anticipation and excitement grows as every day gets closer to 30th August. He is extremely confident he can beat MAO and become the youngest KO-D Champion ever. MAO wants his title reign to be free spirited so he isn’t going to talk down his challenger just because of his age. While Sato is having his last summer vacation as a high school student, MAO is having his last summer in his 20s so he wants this to be a summer neither will ever forget.

??? Fans

1. Masato Kamino defeated Takeru Inoue with the Lariat (8:25).
2. Banana Senga (w/ Gouma Ryu) Vs Antonio Honda ended in a No Contest (8:25).
3. 4 Way Tag Match: Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & Tsutomu Oosugi Vs Daichi Kazato & Seiya Morohashi Vs Takato Nakano & Yasu Urano Vs Lil’ Kraken & Minoru Fujita ended in a Draw when Hiroshi and Kazato pinned each other with a simultaneous Backslide Pin, Kraken and Morohashi pinned each other with a simultaneous Backslide Pin, Nakano and Fujita pinned each other with a simultaneous Backslide Pin and Oosugi and Urano pinned each other with a simultaneous Backslide Pin (9:02).
4. Isami Kodaka & FUMA defeated Ryota Nakatsu & SAGAT when FUMA submitted SAGAT with an Armbar (13:25).
5. Union MAX Title: Takumi Tsukamoto (c) defeated Daiki Shimomura with the Dragon Kicker (16:54).
*V1 for Takumi Tsukamoto.

With Daiki Shimomura now taken care of, Takumi Tsukamoto can move on to focus on defending the Union MAX Title against Ryota Nakatsu on 23rd September. That show will be the last time BASARA will be inside Shinjuku FACE and it will be part of the opening day of the Shinjuku FACE Countdown Series. Nakatsu describes the upcoming title match as Tsukamoto’s big mountain facing against Nakatsu’s vast ocean. Tsukamoto claimed he was an island so both the mountains and the sea belong to him. Nakatsu disagrees because Tsukamoto only used the “mountains” to beat Shuji Ishikawa. Tsukamoto admitted Nakatsu has a point but at Shinjuku FACE next month he will show him there is a bigger side to him.

Match #2 was confusing from the beginning as Antonio Honda walked to the ring dressed in Banana Senga’s gear and then Senga appeared wearing Honda’s outfit. Gouma Ryu was at ringside for the match and only noticed halfway through that the wrestlers had swapped personalities. One thing let to another and Gouma started making fun of both wrestlers for being bald. Suddenly the UWF theme began playing and the ring announcer Yoshiro Yabu came down to tell Ryu that baldness is hereditary. The three bald people all attacked Ryu with Bionic Elbows and Yabu pinned him with the Shining Wizard. The bald people all left the ring singing along to Antonio Inoki’s theme song and the referee called for a no contest.

Although Takeru Inoue lost to Masato Kamino in the opening match, he still wanted to fight Aijin Tag so he can get revenge for losing matches against both Kamino & Takato Nakano. He already has a partner in mind and it is somebody he has teamed with before. It is Tomoki Hatano from HEAT-UP and their team is the Death Volleyball Club! Kamino praised Inoue for showing spirit but Inoue took that to mean the match will also be for the Iron Fist Tag Team Titles! Kamino tried to correct him that it wasn’t but Inoue wouldn’t listen and left ringside. Kamino later explained what happened to Nakano and Nakano also came to the conclusion that Kamino had accepted a challenge for the titles so they will have to go through with it. They want to set the record for most title defences anyway and will set up the bout for 23rd September.

Stick Takeru In The Opener, KING OF “Non-Alcoholic” DRUNK, Rukiya’s Throat Hurts

2. Banana Senga (w/ Gouma Ryu) Vs Antonio Honda
3. 4 Way Tag Match: Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & Tsutomu Oosugi Vs Daichi Kazato & Seiya Morohashi Vs Takato Nakano & Yasu Urano Vs Lil’ Kraken & Minoru Fujita

5. Union MAX Title: Takumi Tsukamoto (c) Vs Daiki Shimomura

Never mind what I said before about Takeru Inoue getting pushed up the card. His match with Masato Kamino is in fact the opener for tomorrow’s show.

DDT “DRAMATIC BEER GARDEN NEVERLAND 2026 IN UENO”, 26/08/2026
Tokyo Ueno Park Outdoor Stage

1. Sanshiro Takagi, Akito, Junta Miyawaki & Masami Inahata Vs Jun Akiyama, HARASHIMA, Tomomitsu Matsunaga & Yuki Ishida
2. Ueno Style Rock ‘N’ Roll Death Match: Shunma Katsumata & Kazuma Sumi Vs To-y & Yuya Koroku
3. Right To Challenge Anytime Anywhere Anytime Anywhere Battle: KANON Vs Antonio Honda
4. Crocodile Death Match Final Chapter: MAO, Yuki Iino, Yukio Naya & Viento Levante (w/ KIMIHIRO & YUZUKI) Vs Daisuke Sasaki, Hideki Okatani, MJ Paul & Ilusion
5. KING OF “Non-Alcoholic” DRUNK 2026: Danshoku Dieno Vs Takeshi Masada Vs Daichi Sato Vs Yuni
6. KING OF DRUNK 2026 ~August Basho~: Yuki Ueno & Chris Brookes Vs Kazuki Hirata & Hinata Kasai

It’s nice of DDT to finally be more considerate towards the non-alcoholic wrestlers on the roster during Beer Garden shows. The tee-total wrestlers are getting a match for themselves attached to the KING OF DRUNK series, even if some of the participants don’t drink only because they aren’t allowed to yet.

Time is ticking away for the Anytime Anywhere Anytime Anywhere Gauntlet to be used. If KANON waits too long it may end up becoming too late to use it. While he has that to worry about, he will also have to defend it against Antonio Honda.

DDT “LAST SUMMER STANDING ~SUMMER’S RECKONING~”, 30/08/2026
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

0. Dark Match: Naomi Yoshimura & Tomomitsu Matsunaga Vs Yuni & Yuki Ishida
1. 3 Way 6-Man Tag Match: KANON, Yukio Naya & Viento Levante (w/ KIMIHIRO & YUZUKI) Vs Hideki Okatani, MJ Paul & Ilusion Vs Chris Brookes, Antonio Honda & Hinata Kasai
2. Special Tag Match: Yuki Ueno & To-y Vs Jun Akiyama & Fuminori Abe
3. Special 8-Man Tag Match: HARASHIMA, Yasu Urano, Akito & Soma Takao Vs Takeshi Masada, Yuya Koroku, Kazuma Sumi & Masami Inahata
4. KO-D Tag Team Titles: Shinya Aoki & Junta Miyawaki (c) Vs Danshoku Dieno & Kazuki Hirata
5. DDT Extreme Title: Shunma Katsumata (c) Vs Kumadori
6. DDT Universal Title: Ryusuke Taguchi (c) Vs Daisuke Sasaki
7. KO-D Openweight Title: MAO (c) Vs Daichi Sato

The upcoming Korakuen Hall show has some changes, the most important of which applies to the KO-D Tag Team Titles bout. Rukiya has been diagnosed with acute pharyngitis and acute tonsillitis so DDT has pulled him from their shows up until early September. That means his title match with Jun Akiyama against Shinya Aoki & Junta Miyawaki has to be cancelled. In response to this announcement, both Danshoku Dieno & Kazuki Hirata have offered to step in on short notice on behalf of Rukiya because he recently passed the audition to join the DDT Variety Team (without ever taking part because he is ill) and become their new ace (which he might be completely unaware of). Dieno has even upped the ante by claiming the Variety Team will disband if they lose! Hirata also happens to be fishing buddies with Rukiya away from wrestling so he is motivated to catch a belt-sized trophy for his buddy.

The new tag title match has a knock on effect on the rest of the card beneath it. Jun Akiyama will now be taking part in a different tag match, teaming up with Fuminori Abe. That means Abe is no longer involved in the Smile Squash 8-Man Tag match built around Soma Takao. Abe’s spot is now taken up by Kazuma Sumi making his team now an all D GENERATIONS affair. Viento Levante gets bumped out of the dark match to take Sumi’s place in the 3 Way trios match and Tomomitsu Matsunaga is added to the dark match to make everything look neat and tidy.

Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. Shion Kanzaki Vs Momo Sato
2. Sakura Hattori Vs Haru Kazashiro
3. Hyper Misao, Mahiro Kiryu & Shino Suzuki Vs Yuki Aino, Raku & Pom Harajuku
4. Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara Vs Sumire Natsu & Mifu Ashida

7. Yuki Arai & Miyu Yamashita Vs Hiroyo Matsumoto & Shoko Nakajima
8. 13th Tokyo Princess Cup – Final: Suzume Vs Rika Tatsumi

We’ve come a long way from Suzume becoming a pro wrestler because she looked up to Rika Tatsumi. Now it is their fate to fight over the Tokyo Princess Cup! It will be the first time the final will pit one champion against the other, Suzume being the International Princess Champion and Tatsumi holding one of the Princess Tag Team Titles.

The two losing semi-finalists have to deal with the consolation prize of teaming up together HIMAWARI & Toga will be facing a newly motivated Chika Nanase (her homecoming show was recently announced) and the returning Kira Summer.

Whenever Tokyo Joshi Pro has two rookies who have yet to win a match it will be inevitable that they will be put in a match against each other so one of them can earn their first victory. Shion Kanzaki and Momo Sato are now being put in that position together.

Earlier this week a new Twitter account appeared and attracted the attention of the TJPW locker room. Over the following days it posted teases until today when it was revealed to be Tojojo, the brand new TJPW mascot. The promotion has been brainstorming on creating a mascot for a while now with everyone in the promotion drawing concept art of what it should look like. But what’s catching everyone there off guard is Tojojo has immediately claimed it will also be the new TJPW Manager. What that means we just have to wait and see.

GANBARE☆PRO “SPY GAME 2026”, 05/09/2026
Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. Keisuke Ishii Vs Shota Kawakami
2. Shinichiro Tominaga, Masashi Takeda & Tyson Maeguchi Vs Shigehiro Irie, Takuya Wada & YuuRI
3. Sentaro Motoshima 1st Anniversary Debut Match: Mizuki Watase Vs Sentaro Motoshima
4. Ken Ohka 25th Anniversary Match Part 3: Ken Ohka Vs Yumehito Imanari
5. Spirit Of Ganbare World Tag Team Titles: Shuichiro Katsumura & Yuya Susumu (c) Vs Moeka Haruhi & Rydeen Hagane

The pair now called Sussun Katsun have become the new Spirit Of Ganbare Tag Team Champions. They made the same mistake a lot of champions make by saying they will take on any challenge thrown at them then get surprised when the challenge immediately appears in front of them. Moeka Haruhi & Rydeen Hagane have joined forces, describing their tag team like Beauty & The Beast. Hagane also doesn’t want everyone to forget that she was one of the first women to work with Ganbare☆Pro well before the Ganbare☆Joshi division was ever established. So if there is any wrestler who deserves to fight for a GanPro championship, it’s her.

Is three commemorative matches too much to celebrate one anniversary? Ken Ohka is enjoying his 25th year in wrestling so much he doesn’t want the good time to end. He challenge his good pal Yumehito Imanari to a singles match so he too can join in on the fun. Unfortunately Imanari has gotten fed up with GanPro relying on wrestler anniversaries so often to promote their big matches. There are other stories these matches can be booked around you know! Imanari will take the match with Ohka but only so he can take his anger out on Ohka for being so greedy.

To make things a little more awkward, young Sentaro Motoshima is going to celebrate the first anniversary of his debut match on the same show. Don’t worry Motoshima, Imanari’s not mad at you. I’m sure of it.

DDT “YUKI UENO 10TH ANNIVERSARY SHOW -IN MY MIND “10”-”, 13/09/2026
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. 3 Way Match: Shinya Aoki Vs HARASHIMA Vs Akito
2. Special 6-Man Tag Match ~ No Tag Rules: Yuki Ueno, HUB & Daisuke Sasaki Vs Ilusion, Yuni & Daichi Sato
3. Special Tag Match: MAO & Yoshihiko Vs Kazuki Hirata & Kaisei Takechi
4. Yuki Ueno 10th Anniversary Match ~ Special Single Match: Yuki Ueno Vs Shunma Katsumata

From the mind of Yuki Ueno he will conjure up the trio of himself, HUB & Daisuke Sasaki has a possibly united force. The idea he has in mind is to put three skillful wrestlers together for a match against three young opponents who all have a world of potential ahead of them. Those three youngsters are Ilusion, Yuni & Daichi Sato. The immediate reaction from Sasaki is unhappiness that he and Ilusion will be on opposite teams.

Three days after Shinya Aoki fights in RIZIN, he will be returning to DDT for a 3 Way Match. If he gets beaten badly by Mikuru Asakura then maybe HARASHIMA and Akito could both take it easy on him.

DDT “DRAMATIC INFINITY 2026 ~AUTUMN OF PRO WRESTLING~”, 21/09/2026
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles: KANON, Yukio Naya & Viento Levante (c) (w/ KIMIHIRO & YUZUKI) Vs Daisuke Sasaki, Hideki Okatani & Ilusion

It all depends on how things are going with DAMNATION T.A over the next month. Ilusion has become addicted to collecting championships so he went and challenged Strange Love Connection all by himself without consulting the rest of the unit. Sasaki seems to be okay with it which would continue his current apathetic behavior over who ultimately calls the shots within the group. Hideki Okatani will be on the challenger team looking for a chance to become a champion again so soon after losing the DDT Extreme Title. SLC accepted Ilusion’s challenge because Viento Levante wants to beat him. KANON will also likely be motivated to defend the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles against the stable he once held the belts with before they kicked him out. Yukio Naya is just having a good time because it was his birthday recently and he gets to hang out with his friends a lot.

*Kazuma Sumi becomes the 1,901st champion.
2. Super Sasadango Machine Title: Ilusion defeated Sasadango Belt (c) (w/ Super Sasadango Machine) with the Swanton Bomb (12:06).
*Sasadango Belt fails in V1. Ilusion becomes the 2nd Super Sasadango Machine Champion.
3. KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles: KANON, Yukio Naya & Viento Levante (c) (w/ KIMIHIRO & YUZUKI) defeated Takeshi Masada, Yuya Koroku & Daichi Sato when Levante pinned Masada after the Knee Lift from Naya (18:41).
*V1 for STRANGE LOVE CONNECTION.

It’s been almost a week since “WRESTLE PETER PAN 2026” and DDT decided to hold a little after party to celebrate. This was a chance to tie up a loose end from Sumo Hall with paleyouth challenging Strange Love Connection to a rematch for the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles in a bid to regain their championship. Takeshi Masada led his team to attacked Viento Levante to prove the masked wrestler is still the weak link of SLC. Daichi Sato and Yukio Naya continued their heavyweight battle that wasn’t settled the last time around. Yuya Koroku could have made Levante submit to the Triangle Lancer but ended up getting cut off from him. Instead KANON & Naya focused their attacks on Masada and left him beaten up to the point where Levante could pin him for the second time in a row, giving SLC a successful title defence.

After the match Ilusion approached SLC and declared that DAMNATION T.A are going to be the next challengers. He admitted however that he had not run this plan through with his teammates and made this decision by himself. Levante accepted the challenge just so he can get his own back for all the bad things Ilusion has done to him. The title match will happen on the 21st September Korakuen Hall show. Backstage KANON said his team will welcome paleyouth challenging them again whenever they want. Naya said today is his best birthday ever and he thanked Levante for doing a great job to make it happen. Meanwhile Sato said he is going to help paleyouth regain their momentum by winning the KO-D Openweight Title from MAO on 20th August.

There was a bit of a mix up over what the Super Sasadango Machine Vs Ilusion match actually was meant to be. The Sasadango Belt that is often worn around his waist was on the line but Sasadango revealed that beating him does not mean a new champion would be crowned. Instead Ilusion had to wrestle a match against the title belt itself and the winner would get Super Sasadango Machine?!? Ilusion took him at his word and actually fought the belt while Sasadango interfered when he felt the need to. Ilusion would then unmask and Low Blow Sasadango after a ref bump. He did the Swanton Bomb to Sasadango and then hit the same move onto the championship to win the match and become the new holder of the Sasadango Belt! After the match Ilusion told Sasadango he would have to wear a replica of his belt from now on. Sasadango swore revenge and promised to get his belt back no matter what it takes.

The current generation of the DDT Variety Team are getting old so the time has come for new blood to be added. Kazuki Hirata, Danshoku Dieno & Antonio Honda forced a bunch of the D GENERATION wrestlers to show off their talents in an audition for a spot in the group. Toru Owashi was absent because according to the other judges he is practically already dead from old age. The contestants attempted prop comedy and created new nicknames form themselves. Yuki Ishida became a “Dressing Room Thief” who only steals once every three shows, Kazuma Sumi was “The Soaring Sky Saint”, Masami Inahata temporarily changed his name to Water Masami because “Thunder” and “Fire” were already taken. His nickname is “Mr. Hydro Pump”. Hinata Kasai called himself “Variety Monkey” and denied he was copying a different name already used by somebody close to him. The wrestlers then tried to have a 4 Way Match using their new gimmicks until Sumi got tired of it and turned everyone against the judges. The bout turned into a Handicap Match that D GENERATIONS immediately won. The judges then announced who passed the audition. The winner was Rukiya, who wasn’t even at the show today! The judges thought that was the funniest punchline they could come up with which made everyone else mad. Another brawl broke out and in the middle of it, Sumi pinned Danshoku Dieno with a School Boy to win the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title.

4. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title – Our LariPro ’26: Keisuke Ishii, Danshoku Dieno & Junta Miyawaki defeated Shunma Katsumata (c), Yuki Iino & Kazuki Hirata when Dieno pinned Katsumata with the Lariat (7:46).
*Danshoku Dieno becomes the 1,900th champion. Danshoku Dieno wins Shunma Katsumata’s Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Gauntlet.
5. Special Single Match ~ I’m You, You’re Me: Daisuke Sasaki and Fake Daisuke Sasaki defeated Daision Sasaki with the Double Crossface Lock (11:02).
6. Unit Shuffle! Special 6-Man Tag Match: Yuki Ueno, MAO & HARASHIMA defeated Chris Brookes, KANON & To-y when Ueno pinned To-y with the Jul.2 (24:17).

The final ever DDT Beer Garden show inside Shinjuku FACE took place today. The main event had everyone swap around their costumes and mix up their teams, ignoring unit alliances. Chris Brookes and HARASHIMA swapped costumes, MAO and KANON swapped costumes and Yuki Ueno and To-y swapped costumes. Even KIMIHIRO and YUZUKI swapped outfits with each other! It led to everyone trying to replicate the moves and motions of the wresters they were dressed as. The two teams brawled away from the ring, leading to some confusion when Shunma Katsumata suddenly appeared in the ring wearing a spare of Ueno’s outfit that To-y was also wearing. Yuki Iino then crashed the match dressed as Yukio Naya. HARASHIMA then reappeared but this time he was dressed as Antonio Honda and he did the entire Gongitsune bit. Everybody gradually returned to their normal selves to finish off the match. At the end of the show, Ueno told everyone there was one thing he would like to see one last time in Shinjuku FACE. The “Pai Rangers” song then played over the speakers for HARASHIMA to dance to.

After recovering from the chronic hangover that kept him off yesterday’s show, Daisuke Sasaki was back to fight a fake version of himself. Fake Daisuke Sasaki showed up accompanied with Fake DAMNATION T.A members Fake Hideki Okatani and Fake MJ Paul. They confronted the real versions until all of a sudden another Daisuke Sasaki doppelganger appeared named Daision Sasaki. Daision attacked the other two until he accidentally hit himself with a chair bouncing off the ropes. Then the real Sasaki and the Fake Sasaki applied a Double Crossface Lock to make Daision give up. Daisuke Kiso wasn’t sure how to call the result so he raised the hands of both Daisuke Sasaki and Fake Daisuke Sasaki.

Shunma Katsumata’s new goal of becoming a DDT Triple Crown Champion has already gone up in smoke. Danshoku Dieno beat him in the Lariat Pro Wrestling match to win both the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title and the remaining Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Gauntlet. The Lariat match had everyone using the move while theme songs of famous Lariat users played throughout the action. Since NOAH’s own Junta Miyawaki was in the match, some of the non-Lariat related songs played included Naomichi Marufuji’s and Mitsuharu Misawa’s. They also played the AEW and New Japan theme songs for Kazuchika Okada.

The ending of Shinjuku FACE also spurred on the end for one of the biggest grudge matches ever associated with DDT and Tokyo Joshi Pro. The two authority figures of the companies Hisaya Imabayashi and Tetsuya Koda agreed to have one final match against each other where the loser must immediately retire! It was a war that showcased heart more than physicality between the two enemies. Koda tried to summon the power of TJPW by attempting Hyper Misao’s Chickenwing Face Lock, Mizuki’s Crossface and Yuki Arai’s Finally. When they wouldn’t work he stuck Imabayashi in a Sleeper Hold that almost choked the DDT GM out. But suddenly the DDT roster all ran down to the ring to show their support for Imabayashi, motivating him to fight out of the hold. He used the Rainmaker motion to knock Koda down with a Spinning Backfist but didn’t have the heart to finally pin the man he couldn’t beat. Koda encouraged him to keep fighting and after a limp Chop Battle, Imabayashi knocked him down with one final Spinning Backfist to win the match. Koda’s sudden retirement ceremony then began only for Imabayashi to interrupt it. He said without Koda as his rival he has no reason to continue wrestling so he will be retiring alongside him! These two retirements are just for being pro wrestlers, they will continue their management roles in their respective promotions.
