1. Momo Sato Debut Match: Uta Takami & Ren Konatsu defeated Shion Kanzaki & Momo Sato when Takami submitted Sato with the Koala Clutch (9:43).
2. Shin Sakura Katsushika Hirota, HIMAWARI & Mifu Ashida defeated Raku, Pom Harajuku & Chika Nanase when Hirota pinned Harajuku with the Furafura Don (11:53).
3. Yuki Aino & Haru Kazashiro defeated MIRAI & Toga when Kazashiro pinned Toga with the Updraft!! Overdrive (12:17).
4. Aja Kong defeated Arisu Endo with the Diving Elbow Drop (9:25).
5. Yuki Kamifuku, Kumadori & Sakura Hattori defeated Sanshiro Takagi, Yumehito Imanari & Mahiro Kiryu when Kamifuku pinned Kiryu with the Diving Famouser (12:06).

All throughout the build up to “SUMMER SUN PRINCESS ’26” there was the question asking is Yuki Arai had the killer instinct to beat Miyu Yamashita one on one. Today she answered that question with an undeniable yes. This was Tokyo Joshi Pro’s big match for the summer and Yamashita egged on Arai to give her best shot. She found a way to break out of the Scorpion Death Lock by grabbing Arai in a Brain Claw when she bent over backwards too far. Arai kept up with her attacks and dealt enough damage to prevent Yamashita from pinning her immediately after the Skull Kick. Instead Yamashita tried to finish her off with the Crash Rabbit Heat but it was blocked. While Arai was still kneeling, Yamashita got in two glancing blows using the Skull Kick but Arai hit back with the Rookie Award to shift the momentum back to her. She then threw down Yamashita with the Full Nelson Buster and landed the Finally to get the three count in her biggest Princess Of Princess Title defence to date.

After the match Arai said she just defeated Yamashita which means she is now the one who will lead TJPW into the summer! She looks up to Yamashita because she helped train her as well as for being a cool and strong senpai. Beating her has given Arai a huge boost of confidence and now she feels like she cannot lose to anyone. With the Tokyo Princess Cup beginning on Monday, Arai wants everyone in TJPW to make this summer hotter than ever. Backstage Arai said there were points where Yamashita completely overwhelmed her but it never broke her spirit. Now she wants to win the Princess Cup as champion because she’s never won a tournament before. Yamashita talked about how feeling the joys of winning and the frustrations over losing. For the latter she always uses defeat to make herself stronger. Arai won today but Yamashita is still going to try and beat her. With the Princess Cup about to begin there is no time to rest.

It took a lot of time for Daydream to convince Kyoraku Kyomei into taking their challenge for a rematch from “SUMMER SUN PRINCESS ’25” last year. This time around it was Daydream as the defending Princess Tag Team Champions and Kyoraku Kyomei as the challengers. Hyper Misao promised a clean fight although she and Shoko Nakajima then tried to jump the champions before the bell rang. The two teams brawed out of the ring and briefly disappeared from view. Kyoraku Kyomei emerged from one side of the room with the Hyper Mobile while Daydream were at the other end armed with sasumata poles. The two teams then charged at each other where they were caught in a stalemate. Rika Tatsumi was able to grab Mahiro Kiryu, sit her onto the Hyper Mobile and push her so she crashed the bike into Kyoraku Kyomei. Back in the ring Misao blinded Miu Watanabe with spray but that didn’t stop her from doing a Double Body Slam to the challenging team. Tatsumi followed up with a Double Figure 4 Leg Lock. The action got so intense that Misao ended up having her masked kicked off and she was put into the Dragon Sleeper. She countered it into the Hypami Returns but Tatsumi then avoided the Vanitas to hit her with a Hip Attack. While Misao got her mask back on, Watanabe threw Nakajima out of the ring Tear Drop style then gathered Kyoraku Kyomei together on the floor for Tatsumi to hit the Diving Hip Attack onto them. The then gave Misao the Daydream Believer back inside the ring to pin her and remain the champions. Daydream are thrilled to avenge their defeat from last year especially because Kyoraku Kyomei had become a stronger and even more incomprehensible tag team since then. Nakajima admits whenever she wrestles against Daydream she really feels alive. Misao is also feeling the determination to become an even stronger wrestler.

It turns out Wakana Uehara’s eyes are bigger than her stomach after all. Her attempt to completely devour Suzume and win the International Princess Title ended in failure. While Uehara met the low angle Ring A Bell with a Shining Enzuigri and used a Jackknife Hold to try and pin down Suzume, she couldn’t get the pinfall. Suzume also found a way to break out of the Banana Pillow by grabbing Uehara in a Headscissors to loosen up the grip. Uehara was lifted up and dropped down with the Gory Bomb which left her helpess to Suzume’s remaining signature moves. The Flying Facecrusher followed by the Ring A Bell ended the match with Suzume still holding her precious IP Title. Uehara tried to get some semblance of a last laugh by biting Suzume’s arm before leaving the ring. Suzume saw the funny side of it. Backstage she talked about wanting to prove the importance of her championship. She previously lost it to a junior with high expectations (Moka Miyamoto) so she’s been terrified of that happening to her again. Her goal now for the Princess Cup is to become the brightest star. Uehara said Suzume is a really spicy opponent and she is terrible when it comes to spicy food. She was expecting Suzume to taste sweet because she has such a sweet looking face. She was determined to finish her meal but couldn’t finish with the last bite so the lesson she learned is to not be so picky anymore. The only other time she couldn’t finish a meal was when she had a tempura rice bowl that was so oily it soaked the rice at the bottom and made them inedible.

Flight problems for Willow Nightingale prevented her from arriving in Japan on time for the show so her match with Mizuki was cancelled. Mizuki was given a new opponent on short notice although it is somebody she had fought in TJPW once before. It was Chris Brookes! Mizuki wasted no time in attacking him with the Pico Pico Hammer, striking him down the same way she did Andreza Giant Panda in the past. Yukinori Matsui took the hammer away from her but Brookes later got hold of it and gave Mizuki a bonk over the head before throwing her into a row of chairs at ringside. Mizuki tried finding ways to cut down her much taller opponent while Brookes bullied her around. Double Stomps and high risk moves off the ropes were the only way she could hurt Brookes but she was almost wipde out from taking a Shotgun Dropkick into the turnbuckles. Her last big play was to hit the Whirling Candy but it only got her a nearfall. After that Brookes caught her in midair and gave her a Tombstone Piledriver. While Mizuki did kick out of the pin, Brookes just gave her the Praying Mantis Bomb after that to win the match. Backstage Brookes brought up memories of the Magical Sugar Rabbits vs TeaDK match from 2024, his previous appearance in TJPW. He said today was fun and he thinks Mizuki would like hanging out in Baka Gaijin + Friends. Mizuki was happy to see Brookes fill in on such short notice because she has so much respect for him as a wrestler. Some day she will grow taller and score the three count on Brookes. She also still wants that match with Willow Nightingale.

The road to retirement begins for Yuki Kamifuku with a special 6-Person Tag Match being put together for her on this show. She teamed up with Kumadori (who she is friends with) & Sakura Hattori (who she thinks needs to find friends). On the other side was her wrestling father figure Sanshiro Takagi, the man who produced a special video for this match Yumehito Imanari and her long suffering former tag partner Mahiro Kiryu. Things took a turn when Kiryu redirected Kumadori & Hattori into both poking Kamifuku in the eyes. She apologised for it which then caused Imanari to apologise for allowing Kamifuku to be rude in her interview for the pre-match video. Takagi then apologised for farting in the ring while nobody was paying attention to him. Later in the match Kiryu ended up getting isolated from her team. Kumadori & Hattori both kept Takai & Imanari away so Kamifuku could win the match using the Diving Famouser. Kamifuku said her team were able to win through sheer willpower. She was also able to get away with insulting Takagi and punching him in the face. She feels bad for Kiryu though and wants to tell her to keep working even harder until the time comes for her own retirement so she doesn’t bring shame to the people of their age. Hattori said she hopes to meet Kumadori again because she found a lot of similarities between the two of them. Kamifuku told her she has to make that happen herself and that she shouldn’t count on anyone to simply book them in the same match again. Meanwhile Kiryu doesn’t want her story with Kamifuku to end here. She wants to fight her again and again before Kamifuku retires. Imanari agrees that she should get some revenge by the time December comes around. Takagi suggests Kiryu should increase her mahjong training.

Big bad Aja Kong paid another visit to TJPW this time to have a singles match against Arisu Endo. From the beginning Endo peppered Kong with Dropkicks then used the ropes to roll up Kong and keep her on the canvas so she could apply the Camel Clutch. Kong put a stop to that with a big kick to Endo’s stomach. She followed that with a beat down into her own Camel Clutch which had Endo fighting to reach a rope break. Endo turned the table by using the Mt. Bandai Missile Dropkick but Kong knocked her down with a Lariat and brought in the steel can to use as a weapon. Endo grabbed it off her but threw it back so when Kong caught it Endo could Super Kick it into her face. Kong eventually hit Endo over the head with the can and did the Back Drop but Endo kicked out of the pin. She then stunned Kong with a Straight Right Punch and flipped her over with the Waterwheel Suplex. That only irritated Kong who slapped Endo across the face, did another Back Drop and then landed the Diving Elbow Drop from the second rope to win the match. Backstage Kong brought up the story of her seeing Endo crying backstage after her match at “GRAND PRINCESS ’26” back in March. At the time she gave Endo the following advice: “It’s going to hurt anyway, so just punch them with your fist.” She didn’t actually expect Endo would do that to her today! If it turns out Endo dislocated Kong’s jaw then Kong will get her revenge tenfold or even a hundredfold some other time. Until then she hopes to see Endo win the Princess Cup and then win a championship so she can come challenge her for a title of some kind. She also didn’t use the Uraken today and wants Endo to remember that Kong has plenty of things to hit her with. Endo said that Kong’s words to her that day in Sumo Hall were like magic. She can keep on going no matter how much it hurts.

MIRAI’s return to TJPW so she could team up with Toga again was spoiled by Shunrai Rekka!! Prism Greed. After a lot of action back and forth, Yuki Aino & Haru Kazashiro were able to avoid taking their opponents’ signature moves at the same time and instead to that to them. MIRAI was sent out of the ring after getting hit with Aino’s Diving Shoulder Block. Prism Greed then gave Toga their Elevated Reverse DDT finisher called the Updraft!! Overdrive to get the win. The two were happy to fight MIRAI again after waiting a long time for her to come back. Toga was annoyed over losing the match right before the Princess Cup begins but MIRAI gave her some encouragement. Toga promised to get stronger so MIRAI won’t forget about her.

The arrival of Shin Sakura Katsushika Hirota to TJPW made her partners for the day HIMAWARI & Mifu Ashida very giddy. Hirota sung a song down to the ring and got on the microphone while Ashida was cheering with her pompoms and HIMAWARI was whipping her hair at Chika Nanase. Meanwhile Raku got fed up with the noise and tried to take a nap with Pom Harajuku. As the match went on Hirota tried to do a rope walk spot on Nanase but ended up slipping off it one too many times. She then picked her nose and chased after everyone with snot on her fingers. She tried to stick them into Nanase’s face but she ducked and they wound up getting into HIMAWARI’s mouth instead. When Hirota tried to interrupt the Goodnight Express, Raku sent her to sleep with a lullaby. Hirota also had trouble missing Harajuku with the Kancho attack. She was able to convince Harajuku to attempt the same rope walk she did. Harajuku failed and Hirota finally got her with the Kancho after doing a cartwheel to get into position. Raku, Harajuku & Nanase all tricked Hirota into looking behind her so she could get kicked in the shin. The match then broke down with HIMAWARI accidentally sticking her own fingers into Hirota’s mouth like earlier. Harajuku charged in but Hirota in her stunned state collapsed on top of her as she often does in matches. She was too much dead weight for Harajuku to kick out of and Harajuku got pinned as a result.

The pro debut of Momo Sato included the first use of her entrance song after Shion Kanzaki gave permission to use that instead of her own tune. That didn’t matter to Kanzaki because she got to do her mic work in the corner during the match. Ren Konatsu made fun of it while she was controlling the match with Sato in the ring. Sato got to hit some Shoulder Blocks and a Kneel Kick to Uta Takami but Takami trapped her in the Koala Clutch for the tap out. Both Takami & Konatsu are looking forward to pass on what they know towards Sato. So too is Kanzaki because Sato is going to be her first junior. Sato said her goal is to become a cheerful and bright pro wrestler who will aim for the top. She’s also going to keep an eye on Takami for being so cheerful and bright.

There are only a few announcements that were given out throughout the show. Both Hiroyo Matsumoto and Sumire Natsu will be at the 23rd August Korakuen Hall show, the same event where the Princess Cup final will be held. It will be Natsu’s first time in TJPW. Also TJPW’s final show in Shinjuku FACE before the venue shuts down will be held on 27th September.
