1. Sentaro Motoshima 1st Anniversary Debut Match: Mizuki Watase defeated Sentaro Motoshima with an Elbow Butt (10:52).
2. Keisuke Ishii defeated Shota Kawakami with the Kneel Kick (9:50).
3. Shinichiro Tominaga, Masashi Takeda & Tyson Maeguchi defeated Shigehiro Irie, Takuya Wada & YuuRI when Takeda pinned YuuRI with the U-Crush (12:10).
4. Ken Ohka 25th Anniversary Match Part 3: Yumehito Imanari defeated Ken Ohka with the Lariat (14:03).
5. Spirit Of Ganbare World Tag Team Titles: Shuichiro Katsumura & Yuya Susumu (c) defeated Moeka Haruhi & Rydeen Hagane when Katsumura submitted Haruhi with the Ninja Choke (18:03).
*V1 for Sussun Katsun.

There was plenty of support for Moeka Haruhi inside Shin-Kiba 1st RING this evening. She received a bouquet from members of the Kofu Chamber of Commerce and Industry Youth Division before the main event. When Rydeen Hagane was tagged in early, Shuichiro Katsumura tried luring her into a grappling contest by lying on his back. He abandoned the strategy when the plan wasn’t opening up and opportunity for him to win. In fact, Hagane turned out to be a lot for Katsumura & Yuya Susumu to handle because they struggled to keep her down. They were finally able to get rid of her and wear down Haruhi with big moves so Katsumura could submit her with the Ninja Choke for a successful Spirit Of Ganbare World Tag Team Titles defence.

After the match, Katsumura said that it does not matter in Ganbare☆Pro if you are a man or a woman. The GanPro ring is where strong, hard working people rise to the top. Sussun Katsun will now wait for their next challengers and they welcome Hagane to challenge them as many times as she wants. Haruhi echoed those sentiments backstage where she told reporters there is no glass ceiling in GanPro. Anyone whether they are male or female can challenge for championships here if they have the qualifications. Back in the ring, the champs promoted Susumu’s big match in FREEDOMS tomorrow where he will fight for the King Of FREEDOM Jr. Heavyweight Title. Susumu promised to take the spirit of GanPro with him so he can win that championship. Mizuki Watase then got into the ring. He is also on tomorrow’s FREEDOMS show where he will be defending the Spirit Of Ganbare World Title against Jun Kasai! He encourages everyone in GanPro to go take over FREEDOMS.

The third match held this year to celebrate Ken Ohka’s 25th Anniversary took place today. Yumehito Imanari is fed up of these matches getting booked and although he won the match, he wasn’t able to beat the idea out of Ohka. After the match he told Ohka it is a pro wrestler’s job to work hard and find reasons to fight. Using anniversaries as a crutch this much defeats that purpose. Somebody had to call Ohka out on it so Imanari took it upon himself to do it. From now on he will call out anyone in GanPro for saying something stupid otherwise GanPro isn’t going to make it! He already heard rumours that Ohka wants to have matches for his 25th Anniversary and also for his 50th birthday next year. If these kind of matches are here to stay then Imanari will book one of his own on 22nd September to celebrate his 41st birthday! And unlike Ohka, he’s come up with a good reason for it to happen too. He wants to win the Spirit Of Ganbare World Title on his birthday! Since Watase has the title match against Kasai happening tomorrow, Michiyoshi Mishima told Imanari he will wait until he gets the result of that match before he decides to grant Imanari a title shot on his birthday. Meanwhile Ohka did not learn his lesson and had already booked a fourth match to celebrate his 25th Anniversary later this year! He is going to face HARASHIMA on 31st October at GanPro’s next Korkauen Hall event.

Continuing the anniversary talk, it’s been just over a year since Sentaro Motoshima had his debut match. He fought Watase one on one in the opener and fell to Watase’s Elbow Butt. Watase told him after the match he did not hold back against him in order to show what the difference is between them right now. He looks forward to seeing Motoshima reach the point where he can challenge for the Spirit Of Ganbare Title. Motoshima must learn what didn’t work for him against Watase today and use that knowledge to climb up to the top.

Some regional conflict popped up again after the show. Ohka rallied up members of Team Toyama after the show to make plans for GanPro’s trip Yokohama on 22nd September. Katsumura interrupted their meeting on behalf of the Naka Ward Association and promised to gather his own wrestlers to fight Team Toyama at that show.

5. Spirit Of Ganbare World Tag Team Titles: Shuichiro Katsumura & Yuya Susumu defeated Takuya Wada & Tyson Maeguchi (c) when Katsumura submitted Wada with the Modified Ninja Choke (11:47).
*The Deadlock fails in V3. Sussun Katsun become the 7th Spirit Of Ganbare World Tag Team champions!
6. Yamazaki Electric Presents – Special Single Match: Takumi Iroha defeated YuuRI with the Running Three (14:23).
7. Spirit Of Ganbare World Openweight Title – GRACE GROUP Presents: Mizuki Watase (c) defeated Shigehiro Irie with the Elbow To You, Dear (23:18).
*V5 for Mizuki Watase.

The main event brought back the days of RENEGADES with Mizuki Watase entering the ring wearing a suit to defend the Spirit Of Ganbare World Title against Shigehiro Irie. It was a match where Watase surpassed his close friend, almost knocking him out with Elbow Strikes. He also used a version of the Venetian that looked a lot like the Tenzan Tombstone Driver on the same day that Hiroyoshi Tenzan was retiring from wrestling. Irie was still conscious from the strikes and had enough whereabotus to tell the referee not to stop the match. Instead, Irie continued to take the blows for one last stand until he fell towards Watase. He was caught and Watase thanked Irie before knocking him down with one last Elbow Strike and pinning him to win.

Watase thanked Irie again after the match and joked he can bring him to Disney Land sometime. Watase is proud to say everything he learned in wrestling was taught to him by Irie and he will become the greatest masterpiece Irie has ever trained. Irie didn’t want to take the credit and told Watase he did it all by himself. He remembers a beautiful show they saw together at Disney Land that featured a line once said by Walt Disney: “It’s just been a sort of dress rehearsal, and we’re just getting started.” Watase and Irie are only just getting started too. Later backstage Irie described the match as a “Dramatic Dream”. Watase understands that and does not forget where the two of them came from.

Takumi Iroha had been looking forward to her first singles match with YuuRI today. She always thought she had a knack for wrestling and the pre-match comments from YuuRI about surpassing her idol sounded kind of scary to her. Iroha is used to younger wrestlers who pick fights with her having a chip on their shoulder but she found it refreshing to see YuuRI express herself without trying to act cool about it. Iroha enjoyed wrestling her today and looks forward to crushing her again and again. YuuRI said she would give it her all to start a big revolution today but it didn’t happen. But if her performance motivated the fans to work harder then she can accept that result with no regrets.

New champions were crowned earlier in the show when Shuichiro Katsumura & Yuya Susumu defeated The Deadlock to win the Spirit Of Ganbare Tag Team Titles. Katsumura & Susumu also now have the team name Sussun Katsun. The MMA fighting vibes were felt throughout the match when Tyson Maeguchi pulled a tyre out to lure Katsumura into a Tyre Boxing fight. However the referee refused to let that happen and got rid of it. Katsumura ended up putting Takuya Wada into a Ninja Choke and tapped him out while Susumu held back Maeguchi in a Crossface. The Deadlock have said they want to remain a team after losing the titles but they may also go fight each other in a singles match to push each other into improving more.

After the match, Katsumura said there is no other 50 year old like him. Susumu can’t say that because he is 43. Sussun Katsun then opened themselves up to be challenged by anybody. Rydeen Hagane walked out to answer their call followed by her opponent earlier in the night Moeka Haruhi. The two decided they have to be the first challengers for the new tag champions. Katsumura & Susumu attempted to cheap shot them but Hagane knocked the both of them down with a Double Lariat. She and Haruhi then posed with the title belts. Backstage Haruhi described her team with Hagane like Beauty & The Beast. Hagane also said she is the original Ganbare☆Joshi, having first appeared in GanPro during its debut year in 2013 as Gorikiko. So she thinks she definitely deserves to be a champion here!

Ken Ohka felt like he had a great day today. He took on a rare double booking at Korakuen Hall where he won both matches. First he beat Yumi Ohka in a Ohka Contra Ohka match that main evented a WAVE show (Yumi now cannot use the name Ohka for the next two and a half months) then later here in GanPro he scored the winning fall in a 6-Man Tag Match that continued the celebration of his 25th Anniversary in wrestling. Even more impressive, he pinned Isami Kodaka to get that second win. Now he’s feeling so good about this anniversary he wants to hold a third match to celebrate it and challenged Yumehito Imanari. However, Imanari got angry at the idea because he thinks Ganbare☆Pro has been relying too much on anniversaries in general lately to book their matches instead of coming up with other storylines. It’s annoying enough that Ohka wants a third commemorative match to begin with.

Today was the final GanPro show for referee Nido Teshima. He is the referee for TTT Pro Wrestling and will be retiring on 1st September, 2027 but today was his last appearance in GanPro. The roster gifted Teshima with a bouquet and celebrated with him to end the show.

8. Princess Tag Team Titles: Miu Watanabe & Rika Tatsumi (c) Vs Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao
9. Princess Of Princess Title: Yuki Arai (c) Vs Miyu Yamashita

We have a mystery on our hands. Mizuki is taking on an unknown opponent who is only being advertised as “Sweet Secret“. If that name by itself is a clue then it’s the only one we’ve got so far.

One of the undercard tag matches is following up on a few things from earlier this year. MIRAI & Toga are teaming up again for a match against Shunrai Rekka!! Prism Greed. That means it’s another meeting between MIRAI and Haru Kazashiro after their really good singles match last month.

The debut of Momo Sato sees her getting thrown into the ring with the three other shortest term wrestlers in Tokyo Joshi Pro at the moment.

Shuji Ishikawa is teaming with Yankee Two Kenju given all of their history together while Takumi Tsukamoto is joining up with Aijin Tag.

1. YuuRI Vs Echika Miyabi
2. Toyama Army Vs Anti-Toyama Army: Ken Ohka, Akira Shoji, Shinichiro Tominaga & Leon Vs Yumehito Imanari, Sentaro Motoshima, Moeka Haruhi & Rydeen Hagane
3. Takuya Wada Vs Yuya Susumu
4. Tyson Maeguchi Vs Shuichiro Katsumura
5. Mizuki Watase, Shota Kawakami & X Vs Keisuke Ishii, Shigehiro Irie & Soma Takao

The 6-Man Tag Match was supposed to have Munetatsu Nakamura in it but unfortunately he injured his right knee at the Ganbare☆Pro show over the weekend. He has since been diagnosed with a ruptured ACL and will be out of action for the time being.

A sudden civil war over the Toyama region is now turning into a little inter-promotional match with PURE-J. After the last GanPro show Ken Ohka declined to include Yumehito Imanari into his Toyama based group of wrestlers so Imanari went and formed his own Anti-Toyama team with Sentaro Motoshima & Moeka Haruhi both agreeing to join him. Rydeen Hagane from PURE-J fills out his group. Ohka has bolstered up his forces by bringing in Akira Shoji & Shinichiro Tominaga as well as PURE-J’s Leon.

1. YuuRI Vs Takumi Iroha
2. Munetatsu Nakamura Vs Chris Brookes
3. Spirit Of Ganbare World Tag Team Titles: Takuya Wada & Tyson Maeguchi (c) Vs Shuichiro Katsumura & Yuya Susumu
4. Spirit Of Ganbare World Openweight Title: Mizuki Watase (c) Vs Shigehiro Irie

Pray for Mizuki Watase to come out of the match in one piece. The last time Shigehiro Irie fought for the Spirit Of Ganbare World Title he lost to Imanari but still beat him up bad enough that he was left in rough shape for weeks afterward. Now Watase wants to defend the title against his good friend even though Irie is kind of feeling like he’s past his peak. Maybe for Watase’s physical sake let’s hope that is the case.

Shuichiro Katsumura once held the Spirit Of Ganbare Tag Team Titles with Takuya Wada. Now he is trying to win them off him. Yuya Susumu is getting his first crack at winning a GanPro championship and maybe he can get it if Tyson Maeguchi is feeling a little punch drunk by the time the match takes place.

No word yet on if Nakamura’s match with Chris Brookes will be cancelled because of his knee injury. There is currently no timeframe for his return.

It’s time again for YuuRI to try and take down one of her idols. Takumi Iroha is her next big name joshi opponent.

*V2 for The Deadlock.
6. Spirit Of Ganbare World Openweight Title: Mizuki Watase (c) defeated SUSHI with the Bare Elbow (15:00).
*V4 for Mizuki Watase.

The Ganbare☆Pro management can breathe a little sigh of relief because Mizuki Watase was able to beat SUSHI and remain the Spirit Of Ganbare World Champion. After the match Michiyoshi Mishima approached Watase asking him who he wants to defend the title against at the 15th August Korakuen Hall show. Watase started talking about when he wanted to leave DDT there was one person he talked to first and this person assured he will help him get bookings if none were to come his way. Watase is currently the champion of GanPro but he wants to feel like the challenger so his opponent is going to be Shigehiro Irie! It turned out Irie was already in the venue and he got into the ring. He admitted he is not as strong as Watase thinks he is right now but he doesn’t want to make excuses over it anymore. The two shook hands (both using their left because its closer to the heart) and confirmed the title match will go ahead.

The Deadlock passed their second Spirit Of Ganbare Tag Team Titles defence by beating Ken Ohka & Guts Ishijima. Their next challengers quickly emerged when Shuichiro Katsumura & Yuya Susumu came out demanding a title shot. Mishima accepted the demand and booked the match for 15th August.

Match #4 had to be abruptly stopped when Munetatsu Nakamura injured his knee after he did a Plancha onto Baliyan Akki. The injury was bad enough at the time that he had to be stretchered off and sent straight to the hospital. Akki tried to keep the audience’s spirits up in the meantime by calling Nakamura a strong wrestler who will definitely return from this setback. GanPro sent out an update that the early examinations have shown no bone damage and they are now awaiting a more detailed diagnosis. Nakamura will be out of action in the meantime.

Yuna Manase was at the show and greeted the fans. She had successful surgery for ovarian cysts and uterine fibroids and was discharged from hospital last week. During her speech she expressed her gratitude for everyone’s support during this time.

At the end of the show Ken Ohka brought up an idea to expand his team of Toyama based wrestlers. Yumehito Imanari asked if he could join because he is friends with Ohka’s father and would often stay over at his home. However Ohka declined his request which made Imanari explode in anger. Now he is going to form his own Anti-Toyama team to get revenge on Ken and his dad!

7. KO-D Openweight Title: Yuki Ueno (c) Vs Shinya Aoki

During the week MAO ran over Sanshiro Takagi in a van for the fourth time in six years. The officiating whenever that happens during matches leaves a lot to be desired and Takagi has lost all faith in the DDT referees ever doing anything about it. So for Takagi’s upcoming match with MAO in Korakuen Hall there will not be any referees involved at all! Instead it will be up to the audience to count the pinfalls in unison and if the majority get to three in sync, that will decide the winner. Other than that the match will be No DQ and have no countouts. We cannot trust a room of 1,000 people to all be able to count up to 20 by themselves at the same time without the proper guidance present.

5. Spirit Of Ganbare World Openweight Title: Mizuki Watase (c) Vs SUSHI

SUSHI last wrestled for Ganbare☆Pro in April and was led to believe he would be booked for more shows with the promotion. That never happened and he’s been left out in the cold until he appeared at the most recent show demanding an explanation while pleading for a booking. Nobody expected he would be getting a Spirit Of Ganbare World Title shot out of it. Mizuki Watase doesn’t appreciate his bosses not living up to any promises they make to others so he agreed to wrestle SUSHI and put his championship on the line.

Watase’s decision to do that match has pushed back his plan to challenge The Deadlock for the Spirit Of Ganbare Tag Team Titles. That gives Ken Ohka & Guts Ishijima the chance to step in and grab the shot for themselves.

6. Spirit Of Ganbare World Openweight Title: Mizuki Watase (c) defeated Tyson “Ultimate” Maeguchi with the Venetian 3rd Time (13:22).
*V3 for Mizuki Watase.

Tyson Maeguchi showed up to the main event in his “Ultimate” form which prompted Mizuki Watase to take off his own boots and wrestling gear so he could also fight in his “Ultimate” form. Watase also leaned into Maeguchi’s strikes determined not to lose to the kickboxing style. He had a few close calls with Maeguchi getting some 2.9 pin counts. Maeguchi then decided to take off his boxing gloves and fight bare handed, almost knocking Watase out with a Knuckle Punch. Watase survived all of that to fight back with a Brainbuster, a Michinoku Driver II and finally the Venetian to get the win. Watase then told Maeguchi after the match he wants a shot at the Spirit Of Ganbare World Tag Team Titles. However, Ken Ohka & Guts Ishijima have also thrown out a challenge for the belts and later convinced Maeguchi to give them the match first on 4th July.

All throughout the show the wrestler SUSHI would walk down to the ring after some matches and plead his case for Ganbare☆Pro to book him again. He first confronted Ohka after the opening match to complain why he hasn’t appeared in GanPro since his first appearance in April. Ohka wasn’t interested and used the excuse that he is not the matchmaker to ignore him. Keisuke Ishii also turned down the offer of fighting SUSHI again, explaining the time isn’t right for him to get revenge for SUSHI pinning him last time around. SUSHI then interrupted an announcement from Michiyoshi Mishima asking to get booked only to be told has has to wait until the show was over to come talk about it. It wasn’t until after the main event was finished when Watase decided to nominate SUSHI as the next challenger for the Spirit Of Ganbare World Title because unlike the others he likes to make sure promises are kept! Mishima reluctantly booked the title match for 4th July but only because Watase would throw another tantrum if it doesn’t happen.

With his 50th birthday approaching on 17th June, Shuichiro Katsumura decided his first goal at that age is to beat Takuya Wada for the SOG Tag Titles. He also told his opponents to remember today’s match when they all turn 50. He knows Wada will be fifty in two years time and Yumehito Imanari in ten years time. He then asked Moeka Haruhi how old she is and her answer was she hasn’t kept count since she turned 25.

Mishima’s big announcement that SUSHI interrupted was regarding YuuRI and her match at GanPro’s next Korakuen Hall show on 15th August. She is going to face Takumi Iroha in a singles match! YuuRI requested this match to happen because she has looked up to Iroha and watched her matches even before YuuRI became a wrestler herself. However she believes she cannot beat Iroha if she holds onto that admiration forever. That is the lesson she learned from her match with Utami Hayashihita back in April. So when she faces Iroha she will not be fighting her idol. Instead she is going to spark her own revolution inside Korakuen!

Shinjuku FACE

1. Special Tag Match: Yuki Ueno & Shunma Katsumata Vs Sanshiro Takagi & Akito
2. 3 Way 6-Man Tag Match: Takeshi Masada, Yuya Koroku & Munetatsu Nakamura Vs Hideki Okatani, MJ Paul & Ilusion Vs Danshoku Dieno, Naomi Yoshimura & KANON
3. Junta Miyawaki Three Match Trial – Match 2: Junta Miyawaki Vs Kazuki Hirata

5. Special Single Match: Shinya Aoki Vs Viento Maligno
6. Special 8-Man Tag Match: Chris Brookes, HARASHIMA, Antonio Honda & Hinata Kasai Vs Daichi Sato, To-y, Yuni & Yuki Ishida

You can add Kazuma Sumi to the injury list along with Rukiya. He suffered an eye injury while wrestling in France last month but worked through it up to this past weekend. He was then diagnosed with a fractured medial wall in his right orbit and told not to wrestle for a month. He will be back after the 27th June show but until then DDT has to shuffle around their upcoming cards for his absence as well as Rukiya being hurt too. Tomorrow’s show had a couple of changes to its matchmaking from the main event right down to the opener.

Something is up with Viento Maligno and Shinya Aoki has figured it out. Well he had to go do something else when he couldn’t find Keigo Nakamura anywhere. Whatever it is he wants Maligno to admit in front of everybody, he has a chance to stretch it out of him tomorrow.

Sasadango-gun: Super Sasadango Machine, MAO, Kazuki Hirata, Akito, Antonio Honda

Yano-gun: Toru Yano, El Desperado, Ryusuke Taguchi, Tomoaki Honma, Hirooki Goto

On paper this looks like the final lineup because it’s five versus five but who knows what other surprises are in store. Toru Yano has added a strong wrestler to his team with Hirooki Goto as the fifth man. Super Sasadango Machine had to do with just picking Antonio Honda because Danshoku Dieno keeps finding excuses not to take part. The latest is he wants to balance his sleeping schedule in order to watch World Cup matches live in the middle of the night.

The show is going for more of a sports feel by having Yano’s team be in red while Sasadango’s team will be in green. Fans are being encouraged to show up wearing the colour of the team they want to support.

1. Shuichiro Katsumura 50th Birthday Match: Shuichiro Katsumura, Yuya Susumu & Kikujiro Umezawa Vs Yumehito Imanari, Takuya Wada & Moeka Haruhi
2. Spirit Of Ganbare World Openweight Title: Mizuki Watase (c) Vs Tyson Maeguchi

It will be champion versus champion for the next Spirit Of Ganbare Title Match. Tyson Maeguchi currently holds one of the tag titles but he wants to fight Mizuki Watase for the singles championship. In return Watase will get to face The Deadlock for the tag titles somewhere down the line.

A party match is being thrown for Shuichiro Katsumura just a few days before he turns fifty. Some familiar faces will be there like Moeka Haruhi who Katsumura used to team with as part of THE HALFEE. The new face showing up is a wrestler from Tokyo named Kikujiro Umezawa. Katsumura used to wrestle him often on the smaller indies over a decade ago.

This year’s King Of DDT winner Shinya Aoki is ready to fight his friend Yuki Ueno for DDT’s top prize once again. They fought over the KO-D Openweight Title once before back in August 2024 and Aoki won that encounter. How much they hold each other in high esteem promises both will be fighting their very best to be the KO-D Champion once again.

After being away from six months to deal with a knee injury, Soma Takao is ready to make his comeback. He thinks he has been away for so long that there’s since been a turnover in the DDT audience and the new fans don’t know him as anything other than the Dropkick Bar manager.

3. Dramatic Dream Match: Konosuke Takeshita Vs Kaisei Takechi

If that news doesn’t float your boat then how about Antonio Honda as one of his opponents for Sumo Hall this summer, huh? Huh? DDT doesn’t even want to put in the effort of booking their tag team partners so they told Sasaki and Honda to go find their own. There is still the competition attached to this where fans can predict what the match is going to be. Honda wants to find a partner that no one could ever guess. Sasaki is thinking the opposite and might go with his most obvious option available. Even then that leaves a big gap for guessing. Is it someone from DAMNATION T.A? How about Dick Togo, Shuji Ishikawa, El Desperado or AMAKUSA? See, it’s not be as obvious as it sounds.

Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. Munetatsu Nakamura Vs Chris Brookes

There might have been a chance Munetatsu Nakamura would be Watase’s next title challenger but it turns out the youngster already had a different idea he asked Ganbare☆Pro to set up for him. He wants a singles match against Chris Brookes as his way of saying thanks for everything Brookes has done for him up until now. This goes all the way back to Nakamura being a fan of Brookes to Brookes taking him under his wing as a wrestler and even helping pay for some of his medical treatment when he was out with a neck injury. The best way for Nakamura to pay him back is to beat him in a wrestling match!

1. Keisuke Ishii defeated Sentaro Motoshima with a Knee Drop (8:07).
2. Moeka Haruhi & Yuuka defeated YuuRi & Kirari Wakana when Haruhi pinned Wakana with the Ojousama Clutch (15:20).
3. Ken Ohka & Munetatsu Nakamura defeated Mizuki Watase & Shota Kawakami when Nakamura pinned Kawakami with the Octopus Killer (14:01).
4. Yumehito Imanari, Shinichiro Tominaga & Shigehiro Irie defeated Shuichiro Katsumura, Minoru Fujita & Gouma Ryu when Tominaga pinned Ryu with a Moonsault Press (16:18).
5. Spirit Of Ganbare World Tag Team Titles: Takuya Wada & Tyson Maeguchi (c) defeated Akira Shoji & Hideki “Shrek” Sekine when Maeguchi pinned Shoji with the Kaibutsu Goroshi (13:28).
*V1 for The Deadlock.

Pride FC nostalgia can only take you so far these days and that kind of fighting spirit wasn’t enough to beat The Deadlock today. Hideki Sekine used his size and weight to throw the champions around but after he gave Takuya Wada a German Suplex, Tyson Maeguchi knocked him back with a Lariat. Maeguchi then avoided a Brainbuster from Akira Shoji and broke him down with knee strikes and kicks until a strong Middle Kick kept him down for the three count. The two teams shook hands afterwards and Maeguchi began asking if they could make a title challenge of his own? He called out Mizuki Watase and asked him for a match with the Spirit Of Ganbare World Title on the line. Then after that Watase can bring in a tag partner for a shot at the Spirit Of Ganbare World Tag Team Titles later down the line. Michiyoshi Mishima said he can book the SOG Title match first for 14th June. Backstage Watase said he might choose Shigehiro Irie as his partner because they already held the SOG Tag Titles together before. But he could go another direction and pick either Jun Kasai or even Rukiya instead.

Had things turned out differently during the show, Watase would have had a different opponent for his next title defence. Munetatsu Nakamura tried to approach him before their tag match began but Shota Kawakami cut him off. Nakamura ended up beating him using an Arm Clutch Belly-To-Belly Suplex called the Octopus Killer. That turned out to be a fitting name because Mishima then announced that Nakamura will be facing Chris Brookes at the 15th August Korakuen Hall show! Nakamura told the fans his history with Brookes from being a fan of his into becoming his friend. Brookes has done so much to help Nakamura out when he was injured including partially paying for his medical treatment. Nakamura asked Mishima to make this match happen on a Ganbare☆Pro because he thinks the best way of paying Brookes back is to beat him in a wrestling match.

6. Spirit Of Ganbare World Tag Team Titles: Takuya Wada & Tyson Maeguchi defeated Yumehito Imanari & Shinichiro Tominaga (c) when Wada pinned Imanari with the Assault Point (13:46).
*Touchable fails in V3. Takuya Wada & Tyson Maeguchi become the 6th Spirit Of Ganbare World Tag Team Champions!
7. Spirit Of Ganbare World Openweight Title: Mizuki Watase (c) defeated Keisuke Ishii with a Vertical Drop Brainbuster (22:07).
*V2 for Mizuki Watase.

In a rematch from three years ago, Mizuki Watase again defeated Keisuke Ishii to defend the Spirit Of Ganbare World. He was lucky to get out of there in one piece though. The match took so much out of both champion and challenger that Watase needed help being walked to the back afterwards. He felt fulfilled none the less, saying there is nothing in the world with the kind of nourishment that pro wrestling has. He is determined to turn Ganbare☆Pro into a huge wrestling company and lead the way. He also said he loves Ishii and believes today should put away any thoughts Ishii has of retiring from wrestling. Ishii said he felt annoyed over losing yet another Korakuen Hall main event. However he could feel his confidence growing throughout the match and will fight Watase head to head again some day. He promised to work hard to get into the condition needed to not only headline Korakuen Hall but win a main event there too after eight failed times at trying.

The Spirit Of Ganbare World Tag Team Titles changed hands with two former champions now regaining the gold. Takuya Wada & Tyson Maeguchi both held the belts before but with different partners. Today they defeated Touchable after a few close calls. Yumehito Imanari & Shinichiro Tominaga almost had Maeguchi taken care of with the 3D. Imanari then hit Wada with the Lariat and Power Bomb but he kicked out from both moves. Wada turned things around and used the Assault Point to pin Imanari for the title change.

Last week Utami Hayashihita caused a stir when she announced she will be leaving her home promotion Marigold next month. Today was her first match since dropping that bombshell, facing YuuRI and beating her with the Crusade (Spinning Razor’s Edge Bomb). Hayashihita told reporters backstage that she is friends with YuuRI and they often drink together. She enjoyed the warm atmosphere of GanPro and is happy to see YuuRI grow in this environment. She compared the GanPro atmosphere to being surrounded by a big family, and she should know what that is like! When asked if she would ever come back here, Hayashihita said she isn’t thinking about the future at the moment, she’s living her present life to the fullest. YuuRI thinks Hayashihita has already decided on where she is going to go next and doesn’t know if they will ever be able to have another singles match together again. She will seize the chance if they can.

Akira Shoji & Hideki Sekine used the music of Pride Fighting Championship theme for their entrance and also their victory themes. When Minoru Suzuki & Shuichiro Katsumura attacked them with chairs at ringside, Suzuki mocked them by asking “What kind of Pride is this, you bastard?” Shoji got the win by using a Modified Jackhammer on Katsumura that he later named the Toyama Black Driver or TBD for short. Sekine said he and Shoji are the strongest pro wrestlers because they are both 52 years old and were born during the peak of Japan’s baby boom. The two of them are also carrying the legacies of Pride and RIZIN and think they can chase after the SOG Tag Titles next.

Ken Ohka cannot believe it’s been 25 years since his debut. He had his first match in the same year when Munetatsu Nakamura, Shota Kawakami & Sentaro Motoshima were all born! He doesn’t know what he can realistically contribute to society but he hopes his wrestling can play a part in bringing peace to Japan and across the world. He fought as hard as he could with Guts Ishijima against Ryota Nakatsu & Masaaki Mochizuki but was ultimately rolled up into defeat on this day.

The match between Moeka Haruhi and Ram Kaichow was put together because the two of them both debuted in 2005. Haruhi tried winning by going for roll ups and other cradle moves but Kaichow caught her with the Onryo Clutch to get the three count instead.

In the leadup to the opening match, Nakamura revealed that he would avoid using Suplex type moves because he was coming back from a herniated cervical disc. He lived up to his word but the victory still went to the outsider team of PSYCHO, Choun Shiryu & Yuya Susumu.

Yuna Manase attended the show and gave reporters an update to her current health. She is still recovering from getting surgery on her collarbone two months ago because the bone has not fully healed yet. However her doctor noticed an abnormality in her blood tests and after getting an MRI, it was discovered that Manase has swelling in her ovaries. According to her doctor, the ovaries swelled up to five times the normal size and it was a miracle they did not burst while Manase was wrestling. She is currently waiting on the official diagnosis but she is under the impression that she will need to get another operation done soon. She told this to the reporters in order to get the message across about how important it is to regularly get health checkups. She hopes she can be fully recovered in time for GanPro’s next Korakuen show but it will likely take several more months before she can return to the ring.

Beer Garden not only brings back the King Of Drunk tournament for another year but there is also a Nautilus reunion happening on the show too! Yuki Ueno & Naomi Yoshimura will be properly teaming up for the first time since 2020. There’s been a multi-man match or two when they’ve been on the same side but an honest to God Nautilus match you’ll have to go back five and a half year or so to find the last one.

They grow up so fast. Yuni is becoming a college student but is still too young to legally drink so it’s a bit mean of DDT to have this match happen at a Beer Garden show. At least Junta Miyawaki is allowed to take part in the fun for his first Beer Garden show. Masami Inahata too, I think.

When Aijin Tag won the titles, the Super Family pair jumped at the chance to ask for another shot. They’re being rewarded for being so bold but it may just be that Takato Nakano & Masato Kamino see them as an easy first defence.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TJPW LIVE IN LAS VEGAS 2026”, 16/04/2026
Pearl Theater At Palms Casino Resort, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

1. International Princess Title: Suzume (c) Vs Sakura Hattori
2. Princess Tag Team Titles: Jessie McKay & Cassie Lee (c) Vs Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao
3. Princess Of Princess Title: Yuki Arai (c) Vs J-Rod

All three new champions coming out of Sumo Hall will be making their first defences at the Las Vegas show. It was already announced that J-Rod would get the Princess Title shot but instead of getting a rematch with Miu Watanabe, it will now be a first time singles match against Yuki Arai. J-Rod sent a message saying pro wrestling is not a fairy tale and she is ready to become the first American Princess Of Princess Champion on her own home soil. There is a chance that Arai and J-Rod will get a preliminary tag match against each other at one of the Vancouver shows but Tetsuya Koda has not made his decision yet.

Kyoraku Kyomei will be The IInspiration’s first challengers for the Princess Tag Team Titles. Both Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao like to gamble big whenever they visit Vegas. They also took it upon themselves to get the brand new tag title belts back in TJPW’s hands. Unfortunately Misao cannot confirm if there will be Dramatic Hypami bike in Las Vegas after the one in Texas fell apart. Jessie McKay & Cassie Lee showed concern for the roster after hearing the wrestlers had a troublesome trip back home to Japan from the Texas tour. However, they claim they were able to win the titles on just three hours sleep so how will Kyoraku Kyomei fare against them when they have the full eight hours in America?

Before Suzume can make it to Golden Week, she must survive fighting the ninja Sakura Hattori under the bright lights of Vegas! Hattori handed Suzume a scroll at Sumo Hall to tell her she wanted a title shot. Another scroll has since been sent telling Suzume to be prepared because Hattori is targeting her and can take the IP Title away in an instant! As we get towards the match, Hattori is sprinting through a singles match winning streak that’s been going on ever since her gimmick switch.

6. Spirit Of Ganbare World Tag Team Titles: Yumehito Imanari & Shinichiro Tominaga (c) Vs Takuya Wada & Tyson Maeguchi
7. Spirit Of Ganbare World Openweight Title: Mizuki Watase (c) Vs Keisuke Ishii

All of a sudden Ganbare☆Pro has a Korakuen Hall main event rematch that is three years in the making. Back in Mizuki Watase’s first reign as Spirit Of Ganbare World Champion he defeated Keisuke Ishii that was highly praised by those who took the time to watch it. Ishii won a No. 1 Contender tournament to set up the rematch and Watase wants it to be an even better fight than the first one!

Both Takuya Wada & Tyson Maeguchi have held the Spirit Of Ganbare Tag Team Titles in the past. In fact, Maeguchi was one of the first champions and Wada was one of the second champions. Together they might be the team that can beat Touchable for the belts. That would mean a lot to Maeguchi in particular because the physical championship belts did not exist when he was supposed to hold them.

I get how Minoru Suzuki & Shuichiro Katsumura against Hideki “Shrek” Sekine & Akira Shoji is meant to be the shooter match but I feel like this is going to be a coin flip over if it will be good or not.

All of these comedy matches Moeka Haruhi has been doing lately has lead her to this. She now has to face the Triple Six queen herself Ram Kaichow!

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “YES! WONDERLAND ’26”, 04/05/2026

1. International Princess Title: Suzume (c) Vs Winner Of 5 Way Match

Suzume is noticing that many wrestlers in TJPW have been growing stronger lately, many of whom she hasn’t defend the title against before. She thinks there will definitely be plenty of first time matchups happening during this title reign.
