The World Omori Title match saw Chikara’s father Mitsuo Momota get caught up in the action when his son and Soma Takao fought around the crowd outside the ring. Chikara almost collided into him but stopped right in front of him. Takao wound up winning the match and becoming the new World Omori Champion. The result means a lot to him because he used to go to DDT’s outdoor shows at JR Omori Station back when he was a high school student. He is eager for this show to take place again next year so he can defend the belt.
Sanshiro Takagi heard that the rookie Takeshi Masada really wants to be part of DDT’s show in Hollywood next year and laid him down with a challenge. Masada has to beat Takagi in a singles match first before he can ask to be part of the USA tour!
