5. Rika Tatsumi, Miu Watanabe, Raku & Moka Miyamoto defeated Miyu Yamashita, Shoko Nakajima, Yuki Arai & Kaya Toribami when Miyamoto pinned Toribami with the Korokan (18:56).
Is next year going to be Moka Miyamoto’s year? She was the one standing tall at the end of Tokyo Joshi Pro’s final show of 2023. The 8-Woman Tag broke down into everyone getting their chances to win but it came down to Miyamoto using the Korokan on Kaya Toribami to finish the action. With plans to wrestle in America again in the new year, Miyamoto hopes to grow and gain more experience. However Rika Tatsumi, Miu Watanabe & Raku all want to make 2024 their year too so TJPW is going to be as competitive as ever on the road back to Sumo Hall!
A festive ruleset was put together for Match #4. The Holy Night Miracle Rules Match allowed both teams to make a wish to Santa. A bell was hidden inside a Christmas stocking at ringside and whichever team rang the bell would make their wish come true along with Christmas music playing in the room. The other team can ring the bell to stop the wish. Mizuki’s team wished for them to win the match with 2 Count Pinfalls. Hyper Misao’s team wished for Mizuki to be sealed away by being stuffed into a sack. Both wishes would come true during the match and it ended with Yuki Aino picking up the win for her team.
Runa Okubo will be taking a few months off in 2024 to study for her high school entrance exams. Her next match after 4th January is expected to be in March.
With Hikari Noa feeling unwell, she did not wrestle on today’s show. Uta took her place for The Up Up Girls opening performance.
