*V1 for Shuichiro Katsumura.
In the first of two title matches this week between Shuichiro Katsumura and Ken Ohka, Katsumura has not lost any gold yet. He successfully defended the Spirit Of Ganbare Title against Ohka by using the Ninja Choke as a counter to the Vertical Drop Brainbuster. Ohka was able to hit the Brainbuster but it was not enough to break the Ninja Choke. Katsumura held onto the move and switched over to the Triple Three 3 Lock to make Ohka submit. After the match Katsumura made a comment about the fans coming to watch wrestling here instead of at the Tokyo Dome today. He encouraged the fans to keep smiling and make other people happy. Ohka admitted he feels embarrassed because he thought he was going to win today and go on to surpass Shohei Ohtani. How can he do that now that he lost? But if Katsumura told him to laugh and keep smiling he will do so. Especially since he is fighting him in another championship match this weekend, this time for the Spirit Of Ganbare Tag Titles.
A 3 Way Match for young wrestlers was a reunion for Yuni, Ilusion and Munetatsu Nakamura as the DDTeeeen!! generation. The match almost ended with Nakamura pinning Yuni with a German Suplex but Ilusion broke it up with a Swanton Bomb. Nakamura then gave Ilusion a German Suplex but Yuni took him down and pinned him with the Phoenix Splash. Yuni said even though he is younger and smaller than the other two, he is still more experienced than both of them.
