Normally around this time of year BASARA would hold their annual Chouten ~Itadaki~ tournament. This might still be it but they have not branded the competition as such so far. Instead Shuji Ishikawa wants the BASARA locker room to figure out for themselves who should get the next Union MAX Title shot. There are eight challengers, which isn’t enough to do a full blown Chouten playoff. Every match in the first round will have a 15 minute time limit. In the case of a draw happening, both wrestlers will be eliminated.

The time limit of the semi finals will be 20 minutes each. The double elimination rule for a draw will still be in effect for that round. The final will have no time limit in the hopes of guaranteeing a winner. Imagine the company going through all that trouble just to balls it up at the last hurdle.
