7. Yuki Arai & Ren Konatsu defeated Miyu Yamashita & Shion Kanzaki when Konatsu pinned Kanzaki with the Aries Comet (14:32).
Ren Konatsu has entered her second year as a pro wrestler by returning to the venue of her debut and winning in the main event for the first time! She got to beat her junior Shion Kanzaki with the Aries Comet while Yuki Arai used a Full Nelson Buster to make sure Miyu Yamashita was out of the way. Konatsu said she wants to team up with Arai a lot more as well as also have matches against her. The way Arai praised Konatsu after the match makes Konatsu think she has now gone from Arai’s fan into Arai’s angel. As for the upcoming title match, Arai thinks today was an important warmup because she got to show Yamashita her true potential. She wants to master the Scorpion Death Lock and is thinking carefully of different ways to put Yamashita in it in every match they will be in together.
The two Daydream Vs Kyoraku Kyomei singles matches couldn’t have turned out any differently. Rika Tatsumi and Shoko Nakajima fought each other to a 15 minute stalemate where Tatsumi’s tactical wrestling clashed with Nakajima’s speedy style. The other match devolved into chaos pretty quickly. Hyper Misao tried to leave when she realized it was meant to be a preliminary bout for the Princess Tag Team Titles match that her team still denies is going to happen. However she was already locked in the room and had to wrestle the match. Miu Watanabe wrapped Misao up in the ring apron and gave her the Giant Swing on the floor. Misao blinded Watanabe with the Hero Spray and started detaching the turnbuckle posts to use as weapons. Watanabe ended up charging right into an exposed buckle and was rolled back into a School Boy to get pinned by Misao. Kyoraku Kyomei still hold the contract for the title match and Nakajima pointed out that if she cannot beat Tatsumi one on one then she clearly isn’t ready to fight for the tag titles right now. On the other side, Tatsumi cannot believe that Watanabe lost her match so she ordered her to go train at a gym by herself without using her Hot Pepper app points to make the reservation. Tatsumi doesn’t need to join the training because a draw is not a loss. She also doesn’t believe Nakajima when she says now is not the right time to do the title match.
While Japan was beating Tunisia 4-0 in the World Cup, Mahiro Kiryu brought along a gigantic football so she could play the sport with her opponents in the 3 Way Match. She also had red and yellow cards prepared for Daisuke Kiso to use if anyone committed a foul (that blew up in her face when Kiso booked her for being too aggressive towards him). Pom Harajuku wasn’t interested in playing and Sakura Hattori threw the ball away but both of them were eventually drawn into Kiryu’s game. Harajuku threw the ball around which made Kiryu stop the match so she could show her how to play properly. The two then tried to kick the ball into the red corner goal but Hattori used her ninja skills to save almost every shot. She finally let one in by accidentally leaving an open goal but then remembered they were in a wrestling match so she rolled both opponents over with a Double School Boy for the win. At least Kiryu and Harajuku got more shots on goal than Tunisia did.
