The Ganbare☆Joshi division was originally created in 2015 to capitalize on the growing trend of women’s wrestling in Japan. It fizzled out as a brand pretty quickly but remained over the years as the name for women’s matches on GanPro shows. The division began running their own branded events in 2020 with men’s matches padding out the undercard. In 2023 GanJo was rebooted and began running full shows with only women’s matches on them.
