Since this is the last Ganbare☆Wrestling show of the year the group will be giving out awards for the highlights of 2018. Ganpro has done this before but are promoting the event as the first ever Shining! Ganbare☆Wrestling Grand Prize awards. These awards will apparently provide a different perspective and won’t just be using traditional categories like Best Match and MVP. Yumehito Imanari is the chairman behind the idea and also judge for one of the awards. To the surprise of no one he is judging the Miss Fat Grand Prix category.

Just when I thought I’ve seen everything, along comes this. Presenting Maku Donaruto and his manager Phoenix Haru! Donaruto comes from a mysterious underground league called UDON Pro Wrestling. The comedy group holds mat wrestling shows inside bars and two of its acts have caught the attention of DDT. Donaruto is nicknamed the Yellow Devil in Tokushima. He is 170cm tall and weighs 80kg. He’s also a lewd Ronald McDonald. Both Donaruto and Haru will be involved at DDT’s Osaka weekend doubleheader in January.
