Not a good month for Konosuke Takeshita. Thrown into a multi-man free for a PPV main event and he was the second one out. He’s pretty aimless right now when there’s not a tournament going on. A trip back home to DDT and then a visit to Mexico might freshen his mind a little. There’s no such problem for Tokyo Joshi Pro as they head towards Texas in a couple months time. Yuki Kamifuku has some final wrestling trips coming up too. Sanshiro Takagi had an interview with the founder of TOKYO STORY that I took a few notes on. You can see them on my rarely used BluSky account here.

1. Clockwork Carnage Qualifying Match: Konosuke Takeshita defeated Brian Cage with a Dragon Sleeper (13:00).
The first step for Takeshita this month was to qualify for the Clockwork Carnage match. To do that he had to beat Brian Cage in a battle of power versus power. A Package German Suplex, the Blue Thunder Bomb and a Sit Down Power Bomb couldn’t put Cage down for the three count. Cage was the one to turn to high risk moves by giving Takeshita a Top Rope Hurricanrana and then the Lifting Superplex off of the ring apron. However Takeshita kept hold of Cage and had the energy to immediately give Cage the Raging Fire out of nowhere. With his usual moveset not working, Takeshita grabbed Cage into a Dragon Sleeper. Cage tried to counter it into the F5 but Takeshita dropped back to his feet and hit a Jumping Knee Strike. He then went back to the Dragon Sleeper to make Cage tap out.

1. Clockwork Carnage: Will Ospreay (c) defeated Konosuke Takeshita, Mike Bailey, Ricochet, Darby Allin, Kazuchika Okada, Adam Copeland and Samoa Joe (32:23).
*V3 for Will Ospreay.
Then came the Clockwork Carnage itself. The match starts off as an Aztec Warfare style competition with timed entrances and people being eliminated by pin or submission. Then at the halfway point when every participant has entered the rules switch to a Iron Man free for all between those who did not get eliminated earlier. It’s a match gimmick Will Ospreay has tested out in EVE earlier in the year. I find these rules work out better as a match you play in a video game rather than an actual wrestling bout. It’s also a very messy way to lay out an AEW World Title match but hey, gotta get those Royal Rumble entrance pops in on the show somewhere. Takeshita couldn’t make it to the Iron Man half of the match. After eliminating Mike Bailey with the Raging Fire, his old foe Kazuchika Okada ruined his night with the Rainmaker and some middle fingers after the three count.
AEW “FRIGHT NIGHT COLLISION”, 28/10/2026 (Aired 31/10/2026)
Chaifetz Arena, St. Louis, Missouri, USA
1. Konosuke Takeshita defeated Adam Priest with the Raging Fire (?:??).
A good match but imagine how much more we would have gotten if this happened at a PWG or Deadlock Pro show if either was still around. Adam Priest is a favorite down in the southern indie scene and got to look competitive here, weakening Takeshita’s leg to make cancel out his usual big moves. But Takeshita rocked Priest with a Rolling Elbow and held onto him by the wrist so he wouldn’t fall down. Takeshita then pulled him into the Raging Fire to get the victory.

Upcoming Appearances
EVE “FOR VENDETTA”, 06/11/2026
Big Penny Social, London, England
1. EVE International Title Eliminator Match: Miyu Yamashita Vs Molly Spartan
Two matches are on the schedule for Miyu Yamashita’s next visit to England and they both involve her EVE International Title in some way. The first match is a non-title bout against Molly Spartan. Should Spartan score the upset win she is guaranteed a future shot at the title. It just may not be against Yamashita if it happens.
EVE “ELITE ENCOUNTERS II”, 08/11/2026
The Hanger, Wolverhampton, England
1. EVE International Title: Miyu Yamashita (c) Vs Marina Shafir
Two nights later is the match Yamashita has been waiting for. Marina Shafir unexpectedly attacked her at an EVE show in August, setting up the build for this big title match happening very soon. Shafir has beaten TJPW talent before, smothering Shoko Nakajima into submission at the DDT/TJPW/DEFY weekender two years ago. Can Yamashita avoid the same fate?
SPW “ONSLAUGHT”, 13/11/2026
Foo Chow Building, Singapore
1. Yuki Kamifuku & Alexis Lee Vs Ms. Selina & Kylie Devyn
November will feature Yuki Kamifuku’s last match in Singapore for SPW. It won’t be the last time she travels overseas away from TJPW for wrestling though.
SETUP “TRIUMPH”, 14/11/2026
The Circus Studio, G Village, Bangkok, Thailand
1. SETUP All Asia Women’s Title No. 1 Contender Match: Matcha Vs Wakana Uehara
With Nakajima currently holding the SETUP All Asia Women’s Title, the belt’s home promotion is ready to determine the next No. 1 Contender. Wakana Uehara has been invited over to wrestle in front of the Thai wrestling fanbase but she will need to beat the former champion Matcha if she wants to get a title shot with Nakajima.
CMLL/NJPW “LUCHA KINGDOM”, 16/11/2026
Arena Mexico, Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico
1. CMLL Vs NJPW: Bárbaro Cavernario Vs Konosuke Takeshita
It’s back to Mexico where CMLL has really gotten into their inter-promotional relationships lately. The “FANTASTICA MANIA” tours with New Japan have always been a part of the year in New Japan to look forward to but this year has seen an increase of Japanese wrestlers travelling over to Arena Mexico. It’s now CMLL’s turn to make a big show using this relationship so if Japan has “WRESTLE KINGDOM” then Mexico is going to get “LUCHA KINGDOM”! Takeshita gets a singles match on the lineup with lucha libre’s No. 1 caveman Bárbaro Cavernario as his opponent.
WRESTLING REVOLVER “SEASON FINALE”, 03/12/2026
Calumet Center, Dayton, Ohio, USA
1. Yuki’s Ohio Dream Match: Yuki Kamifuku Vs Billie Starkz
Kamiyu gets to wrestle in her old hometown after all. Right before TJPW’s Texas tour begins Kamifuku will be in Ohio, the state where she grew up in for a match at Wrestling REVOLVER. Her opponent is somebody who wanted this booking to happen just as much as Kamiyu did. Billie Starkz thinks it is a nice story for Kamifuku to finally wrestle in Ohio before retirement, but she also thinks it would be a much more entertaining story if she kicks Kamifuku’s ass while she’s there.
