Togi Makabe from New Japan will come in to help his college buddy HARASHIMA take on Shuji Ishikawa and Ryuji Ito.

The/An Invisible Man will wrestle in DDT for the first time since Arnold Skeskejanaker graced the squared circle back in September 2008. His sudden appearance at yesterday’s show was done to challenge Danshoku Dino to a match at Budokan Hall.

The DDT website does not list KUDO & Makoto Oishi Vs MIKAMI & Tatsumi Fujinami as a KO-D Tag Team Title match, so the belts may not be on the line.

The soccer match has the Monster Army split in half on opposite sides. Yasu Urano, Antonio Honda & Yuji Hino will be part of the Crying Wolf team while Masa Takanashi, Daisuke Sasaki & Hoshitango will be on The Familia team. Also on that squad are Tetsuya Endo and Ice Ribbon’s Tsukasa Fujimoto. Fujimoto is an active football player outside of wrestling but this game will be like nothing she’s seen before.

If the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title happens to be back in Japan in time for the event (it is currently held by Dick Togo in Bolivia), it will be defended in the Royal Rumble. Otherwise the winner will be given the opportunity to go overseas (which they have to pay for themselves) and win the belt back.

The rivalry between HARASHIMA and Shigehiro Irie has been bubbling up the last couple of months. The two had to be seperated after HARASHIMA’s victory over Irie at the April Korakuen Hall show. Then a rematch in the King Of DDT tournament saw HARASHIMA win again, this time by knockout. Now the grudge will go a step higher when the two meet in a Hardcore match later this month. That won’t even be the last time these two will face each other. As you will see below.

Kota Ibushi’s opponent for his return to Pro Wrestling NOAH has been confirmed to be Atsushi Kotoge. The former Osaka Pro wrestler now calls NOAH his home promotion and this match will be one of his biggest challenges since making the switch.

A lot of bizarre names are being used as match titles. I’m sure that I mistranslated a bunch of them but the Engrish is quite fitting I think.

The gimmick match for the main event hasn’t been confirmed yet. However, there are rumours it will be a death match involving vipers, scorpions, lighttubes and roses.

The 5 Vs 5 Soccer match is taking place because of the Captain Tsubasa involvement Sanshiro Takagi set up earlier this month. DDT held a game of football back in April 2009 between the Italian Four Horsemen and Louis Takanashi XIV’s French side. The game was played in the ring with a beach ball and ended in a 5-5 draw after extra time.

Konosuke Takeshita is the newest addition to the DDT roster. He will be making his debut against the world renowned El Generico.

Tatsumi Fujinami and Yuzuki Aikawa are also expected to compete at the show.

It is now confirmed that Antonio Honda & Yasu Urano’s new group will be called Crying Wolf. Honda & Urano have joined forces with former BattlARTS fighter, now demented Joker lookalike, Keita Yano as well as KAIENTAI-DOJO strongman, Yuji Hino. Urano and Hino will be the next team in line for a KO-D Tag Team Title shot, facing the champions on New Year’s Eve at Korakuen Hall.

DDT President Sanshiro Takagi explained why the promotion’s 15th Anniversary show at Nippon Budokan will take place on 18th August next year. He said that Saturday, the day the 18th August will be next year, during the middle of summer is one of the best days to hold a celebration. He feels DDT has been very lucky to have this opportunity and has felt the pressure to deliver a very special event to mark the occassion. He is also trying to decide what kind of match he should have against Minoru Suzuki if they do face each other. A Falls Count Anywhere match that winds up taking place outside the Imperial Palace is one idea Takagi came up with.

Kushinbo Kamen had to pull out of the Triple Threat match due to suffering a ligament injury. He will be replaced by DJ Nira. However, Kamen is still be able to attend the show and will be at ringside for the match.

Sanshiro Takagi has brought in Hikari Minami from Ice Ribbon to help him take on Danshoku Dino & Makoto Oishi. This is being advertised as the final battle between Homoiro Clover Z and TKG48, despite the two groups only having one match against each other previously.

DDT “GOD BLESS DDT 2011”, 27/11/2011

1. AJPW Jr. Heavyweight Title: Kenny Omega (c) Vs Minoru Tanaka

DDT will announce the date for next year’s 15th Anniversary show at the Nippon Budokan on this show. Several DDT wrestlers left comments on the official DDT site about the upcoming announcement. Sanshiro Takagi is so excited, he wants to announce the date to the fans as soon as possible. KUDO hopes to continue defending the KO-D Openweight Title and make ot to the big event as champion. Kota Ibushi wants to be fully recovered for the show but is aware not to return to the ring too quickly until his body is ready. HARASHIMA is very happy that his dream of wrestling in the Budokan will now become a reality. Finally, Kazuki Hirata mentioned that everyone is training and fighting harder than ever so they can earn a spot on the show. The competition for that precious chance to fight in the “House Of Japanese Martial Arts” is going to be fierce.
