2. Wakate One Day Tournament – Round 1: Shigehiro Irie defeated Rion Mizuki with the Raiden Special (3:49).
3. Wakate One Day Tournament – Round 1: Akito defeated Kazuki Hirata with an Ankle Hold (7:36).
4. Wakate One Day Tournament – Round 1: Takao Soma defeated Tatsuhiko Yoshino with a Naked Choke (8:38).
5. Wakate One Day Tournament – Semi Final: Shigehiro Irie defeated Ryuichi Sekine with the Diving Teddy Bear (3:39).
6. Wakate One Day Tournament – Semi Final: Takao Soma defeated Akito with a Horizontal Cradle (3:46).
7. Abe Yukihiro & Keisuke Ishii defeated Daisuke Sasaki & Yuki Sato when Ishii pinned Sato with the Kneel Kick (16:04).
8. Wakate One Day Tournament – Final: Shigehiro Irie defeated Takao Soma with the Diving Teddy Bear (9:19).

“Gekkan Wakate Tsuushin” is a series of monthly shows by DDT that focus on their younger wrestlers and normally avoids the wackiness of its other shows. So the gang involved with the concept begun the week long festivities in DDT’s Beer Garden with a one night tournament that was eventually won by Shigehiro Irie. Shigegiro debuted in April 2008 and was trained by Sanshiro Takagi, SHIGERU and Kengo Takai in the Nagoya Pro Wrestling Dojo. By winning this tournament, Irie has earned a place in the upcoming KO-D Title No. 1 Contender tournament at the end of the week. Daisuke Sasaki, Keisuke Ishii & Yukihiro Abe will also be part of the tournament.
