Kota Ibushi & Kenny Omega have done it! They went over to New Japan for today’s big “DESTRUCTION ‘10” event in Sumo Hall and defeated Apollo 55 to become the new IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champions when Ibushi pinned Prince Devitt with the Firebird Splash, avenging his loss to the Irishman back at the Best Of Super Juniors final. This gives DDT possession of its highest profile championship yet and arguably crowns the Golden Lovers as the best Jr. Heavy Tag Team in Japan today.
