2. Yukio Sakaguchi defeated Michael Nakazawa with the Venom Choke (7:12).
3. Hikaru Sato & Shoichi Uchida defeated Akito & Tetsuya Endo when Uchida pinned Endo with the Diving Headbutt (10:20).
4. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title: Yoshiaki Fujiwara (c) defeated Danshoku Dino with a Side Armbar (7:30).
*V1 for Yoshiaki Fujiwara?
5. HUB defeated Daisuke Sasaki with the Deadly Poison Airstrike (13:31).
6. Sanshiro Takagi & Yuji Hino defeated Kota Ibushi & Konosuke Takeshita when Takagi pinned Takeshita with the Sit Down Himawari Bomb (18:16).
7. KO-D Tag Team Title: MIKAMI & Tatsumi Fujinami (c) defeated Yasu Urano & Antonio Honda when Fujinami submitted Honda with a Rear Naked Choke (11:08).
*V1 for MIKAMI & Tatsumi Fujinami.
8. DDT Vs Drift Series: Keisuke Ishii, Takao Soma & Shigehiro Irie defeated HARASHIMA, KUDO & Masa Takanashi.
8a. HARASHIMA Vs Shigehiro Irie ended in a Time Limit Draw (10:00).
8b. Takao Soma defeated Masa Takanashi with the Boma Ye (1:24).
8c. KUDO defeated Takao Soma with the Buzzsaw Kick (3:40).
8d. KUDO Vs Keisuke Ishii ended in a Time Limit Draw (10:00).
8e. Sudden Death: Keisuke Ishii defeated KUDO with the Kneel Kick (3:29).

The DDT Vs Drift series was a Gauntlet match with each bout lasting ten minutes. For time limit draws both wrestlers were eliminated from the match, as shown with HARASHIMA and Shigehiro Irie. The final match between KUDO and Keisuke Ishii ended the same way but since the series ended 1-1 they decided to have sudden death. Ishii was able to get the best of KUDO and win the series for Team Dream Futures.

MIKAMI & Tatsumi Fujinami will next defend the KO-D Tag Team Titles in Sapporo on 8th October. Their opponents might be Sanshiro Takagi and a mystery masked man from Okinawa. Another idea is for them to be accompanied by Shogun KY Wakamatsu. There’s a blast from the past for you.

HUB was very aggressive in his match against Daisuke Sasaki. While attacking Sasaki, HUB could be overheard telling Sasaki “I wanted to go to Bolivia too!”

Yoshiaki Fujiwara defeated Danshoku Dino by giving him an unexpected kiss, which surprised and distracted Dino long enough to get him pinned.

8. DDT Vs Drift Series: HARASHIMA, KUDO & Masa Takanashi Vs Keisuke Ishii, Takao Soma & Shigehiro Irie

The DDT Vs Drift match-ups will be decided by a fan vote on the day of the show. Each match has a ten minute time limit. The Drift side have been preparing themselves by drinking a lot of milk.

A correction for Match #4. Daisuke Sasaki was always supposed to face Kaijin Habu Otoko, not The Invisible Man as I had previously typed. Since Otoko has now renamed himself HUB over in Dragon Gate, he will compete under the name here aswell.

I wasn’t able to find any reports of Yoshiaki Fujiwara losing the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title, so it is safe to say his match with Danshoku Dino is scheduled to have the belt on the line.

4. Ultimo Chingon & Guanchulo defeated Jaguer & Supay when Guanchulo pinned Supay with a Piledriver.
5. 8-Man Tag Team Elimination Match: Halcón Dorado, Ajayu, Apocalipsis & Guerrero Ayer defeated Dick Togo, Antonio Honda, Daisuke Sasaki & Yasu Urano when Ajayu pinned Togo with the 450 Splash.

I’m losing track of the amount of different retirements Dick Togo is going through to end his long, illustrious career. I think this is the end now for him as Togo has said in the past he wanted to have his last match in Bolivia.

The order of eliminations in the main event went Halcón Dorado, Guerrero Ayer, Antonio Honda, Yasu Urano, Apocalipsis, Daisuke Sasaki and finally Togo, leaving Ajayu as the last man standing.

3 Way Tag Team Match: Kota Ibushi, Danshoku Dino & Makoto Oishi defeated Tanomusaku Toba, KUDO & Gota Ihashi and Sanshiro Takagi, Michael Nakazawa & Batten Tamagawa when Ibushi pinned Takagi with a Moonsault into a pond. (1:10:14).

The peaceful Yamanashi Natureland turned into a chaotic scene today for DDT’s annual Campsite Pro Wrestling match. This year’s bout was the longest one yet, lasting over an hour. Kota Ibushi led his Homoiro Clover Z partners Danshoku Dino & Makoto Oishi into battle with both of his championship belts over his shoulders and a bunch of active fireworks in his possession. Tanomuaku Toba, KUDO & Gota Ihashi were their opponents, representing kickboxing. Meanwhile Mecha Sanshiro Takagi, Michael Nakazawa & Batten Tamagawa interfered from time to time to spice things up to the point where the match was turned into a 3 Way battle. Nakazawa’s role in his team was to be the “Smoke Killer”. He had to prevent Ibushi from using any fireworks for his PK Attacks. That ended badly for him and by the end of the match Nakazawa suffered burns to his forehead after getting hit by many PK fireworks. The mayhem spread over to the mountainside, then to a large campfire in the centre and then finally down to the pond. It was there where Ibushi scored the win for his team when he Moonsaulted onto Takagi in the water. Afterwards Ibushi said he had fun but he also apologised to Nakazawa for burning him.

IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Title: Kota Ibushi (c) defeated KUSHIDA with the Sit Down Last Ride (25:10).
*V1 for Kota Ibushi.

Kota Ibushi’s first defence of the IWGP Jr. Title took place today against the man he was originally supposed to face during his first title reign a year ago. Despite what was described as a spirited challenge by the young KUSHIDA, Ibushi was the last one standing. Now he is being challenged for the championship by both Ryusuke Taguchi and Low Ki.

When asked about his thoughts on the match after the show, Ibushi’s first reply was “My arm is sore” (in reference to KUSHIDA targeting his arm during the match). The interviewer asked him about Taguchi and Low Ki, Ibushi said he will “win more and more” and said that the 25 minute match was a “short-term battle.” When asked if he would rather face Taguchi or Low Ki, Ibushi said Taguchi because Low Ki has a scary voice. However, Ibushi hasn’t made his decision yet and he will defend his title at anytime.

Homoiro Clover Z Vs Kickboxers: Kota Ibushi, Danshoku Dino & Makoto Oishi Vs Tanomusaku Toba, KUDO & Gota Ihashi

The annual campsite match is set. Fans have been warned that Sanshiro Takagi, Michael Nakazawa and Batten Tamagawa will appear randomly throughout the match as Player Killers. Their role is pretty much to interfere and attack whoever is in their way. However, Nakazawa in particular has a grudge with Kota Ibushi over their previous campsite matches.
