6. Atsushi Aoki (1D/1E/0P) defeated Takuya Wada (1D/0E/0P) by Points Decision (10:00).
7. Grappling Tag Match: Shuichiro Katsumura & Mitsuhisa Sunabe defeated Shunichi Shimizu & Shunpei Ota when Katsumura submitted Ota with a Ninje Choke (12:28).
8. Koji Iwamoto (2D/1E/0P) defeated Ryo Kawamura (0D/0E/0P) with a Shoulder Lock (8:03).
9. Hiromitsu Kanehara (0D/2E/0P) defeated Hikaru Sato (2D/1E/0P) by Referee Stoppage (10:18).

Hard Hit held its first show since going independent from DDT in Bayside Yokohama today. While several DDT wrestlers took part in the show this is now very much Hikaru Sato’s promotion. While the attendence figure was not given, the show was sold out. Sato hopes today’s show will open up many possibilites for Hard Hit in the future.

Unfortunately for Hikaru Sato, his first fight under Hard Hit’s reboot ended unexpectedly when Sato dislocated his left ring finger. The injury happened when his opponent Hiromitsu Kanehara tried to fight out of a Cross Heel Hold. Kanehara tried to cheer Sato up by saying they had a good fight. Sato said it did not matter if an injury caused it but the right guy won.

From what I understand Koji Iwamoto beating Ryo Kawamura was quite the upset. Iwamoto blocked a Flying Knee Strike, took Kawamura down and tapped him out with a Shoulder Lock. Iwamoto had Shigehiro Irie and Ryuichi Sekine in his corner and they raised him onto their shoulders to celebrate the victory.

DDT “SHUTEN-DOJI BOX OFFICE ~WHAT ARE CHERRY BLOOSOMS WITHOUT ALOCOHOL~”, 22/07/2015
Shinjuku FACE

1. He Can’t Stand Anymore, That’s Enough, Oh God Save Him – Punch Drunk Glove Match: Hoshitango & Kosei Kubota Vs Tanomusaku Toba & Kota Umeda
2. KUDO & Yukio Sakaguchi Vs Kengo Mashimo & Isami Kodaka

Shuten-dōji is not going to take things easy for their self produced show next month. Tensions between KUDO and Isami Kodaka grew during the “TAVERN WRESTLING” show this week. They clash again but this time with Yukio Sakaguchi and Kengo Mashimo also involved.

The Punch Drunk Glove match sounds like an excuse for everyone involved to punch each other in the face as much as humanly possible.
