This August Tokyo Joshi Pro will be involved with the Tokyo Idol Festival being held in Odaiba. The idol group NGT48 will be heavily featured in the festival and one of their attractions will be the pro wrestling debut of Reina Seiji! The idol was involved with last year’s “LOVE & PEACE” event in Malaysia and at the time she was approached by Sanshiro Takagi with an offer to give pro wrestling a try. She accepted with the intention of promoting NGT48 to a new audience. Through an interview with Tokyo Sports, Seiji revealed that she has a past connection with Saya Kamitani from Stardom because the two of them both worked on the same AKB project years ago. They caught up with each other last year during the taping of KUNOICHI (the women’s only version of SASUKE/Ninja Warrior). Seiji hasn’t decided on making future plans for wrestling yet. She is only focusing on her first match at the moment.

He claims to be a fan of MAO but also appreciates Yuki Ueno after seeing Takechi’s matches with him in it.
