Every year when DDT runs an outdoor show at the JR Omori Station in Tokyo there is always a World Omori Title match that takes place exclusively at this event. Sadly the previous champion Masahiro Takanashi is out of action indefinitely so Kazuki Hirata was crowned the interim champion at last year’s show. Today he faced the No. 1 Contender Ilusion to determine who the next official champion will be. As the two fought each other, the Hirata GO! glasses ended up being put on Daisuke Kiso, making the referee dance. The glasses then transferred over to the wrestlers, making them dance while fighting. Ilusion got the upper hand out of the exchange and hit the Swanton Bomb on Hirata to win the match and add the World Omori Title to his collection.
Ilusion spent his victory speech insulting the Omori mayor because there are no Gusto, Jonathan’s or Mos Burger restaurants in the area. Ilusion declared the title would be renamed the World Akabane Championship until Yuki Ishida arrived on a cart being pulled by other wrestlers. Ishida won the Battle Royal earlier in the day to become the next No. 1 Contender. He defended Omori’s reputation by everything you can do at the shopping complex that is right next to the station. Ilusion accused Ishida of secretly being an Omori spy and decided he will put a one year long waiting period on changing the name of the championship. If Ilusion beats Ishida at next year’s show then the World Omori Title will become the World Akabane Title! The president of the local shopping association got fired up over the idea during his speech at the end of the show and promised the fans he will not let the title transfer from Omori to Akabane!
