6. Princess Tag Team Titles Next Challenger Decision Battle: Nodoka Tenma & Yuki Aino defeated Pom Harajuku & Mahiro Kiryu when Tenma pinned Kiryu with the Killswitch (14:42).

The Bakuretsu Sisters said they fought like they were in a title match and that was what led them to victory today. They also praised Pom Harajuku for stepping in to be Mahiro Kiryu’s partner on short notice. Daydream accepted their next challengers and confirmed the Princess Tag Team Titles match will happen at “WRESTLE PRINCESS” on 7th November. Yuki Aino said they failed to win the titles back in January but they tried hard enough to get another chance. She’s been wrestling alone a lot lately so she is happy to team with her sister Nodoka Tenma again.

Marika Kobashi has a new look for her first match back in 1 year and 5 months. She is now a “Gal Wrestler” wearing black and orange leopard print gear. She has a definite goal in mind for the future but she didn’t want to say anything clear about it today.

Scull Kick is the deliberate spelling of Miyu Yamashita’s move.

6. Natsumi Maki defeated Hikari Noa with a German Suplex (9:42).
7. Princess Tag Team Titles: Rika Tatsumi & Miu Watanabe (c) defeated Mirai Maiumi & Suzume when Tatsumi pinned Suzume with the Missile Hip (18:20)
*V4 for Daydream.

The challengers went into the Princess Tag Team Titles match with a new name. Mirai Maiumi & Suzume are now BeeStar. Now they just need to get some more experience teaming together because Daydream had them figured out. Miu Watanabe showed her strength by Double Body Slamming BeeStar then later getting rid of Maiumi with the Tear Drop. Suzume fought back against Rika Tatsumi but she was put away with the Twist Of Fate followed by the Missile Hip.

Tatsumi said the challengers were tougher than she imagined but Daydream was able to score their 4th title defence. She wants to do more defences so she called out any of the Tokyo Joshi Pro roster to be passionate enough to take the chance, no matter their ability or experience level. Mahiro Kiryu came out and said she felt disappointed to see two juniors working harder than her. So she wants to challenge for the titles with Yuki Kamifuku as her partner! However, The Bakuretsu Sisters then came out also wanting the title shot. Nodoka Tenma referred to Kamifuku & Kiryu as The Sorcerer Hunters. Then Yuki Aino explained how she and Tenma already challenged for the belts back in January. They failed to win but they have become stronger since then. Tatsumi suggested the two teams to fight each other and the winners can get the title match.

There is still a little bit of time left on their contracts but today Tokyo Joshi says goodbye to Natsumi Maki and Mina Shirakawa. For Maki her final TJPW match was against her Pandemic Boo-Boo partner Hikari Noa. Maki wanted to make the match special which is why she won with the German Suplex instead of the Backlash. Although Noa lost, she was happy for them to fight together until the very end. Noa said she will take advantage of the bad qualities that Maki thought her to shake up TJPW.

No winner could be determined between The Miraclians and the Itoh Respect Army. The Magical Girl Splash was blocked by Maki Itoh but Shoko Nakajima took her out with the Rider Kick. In the final minutes Yuka Sakazaki and Mizuki went back and forth with Mizuki even hitting her new Rolling Body Attack. Sakazaki countered a Facelock into a Cradle for a nearfall in the final seconds and the time ran out afterwards.

Shirakawa’s final match with TJPW was on the winning team in a trios bout. Kamifuku promised to continue doing her best in Tokyo Joshi for Shirakawa. If she ever has a painful or lonely night, Kamifuku is always there for her on LINE. Shirakawa said she was worried if she would ever be accepted in TJPW because she wasn’t raised in the company. But she got along kindly with everyone and felt like part of the group. She will grow as a wrestler even more by using what she learned in TJPW over the last two years.

Hyper Misao had two announcements to make. The first was that Misao, Raku and Himawari Unagi are the Hyper Good Night Wasshoi Festival. They have been working together since August and have now come up with the name. The second announcement was the Hyper Good Night Wasshoi Festival is splitting up after today’s match. Unagi asked for one last celebration in the ring to make up for all the summer festivals getting cancelled. The three danced to “Summer Festival” by Whiteberry until it broke into a proper wrestling match.

At the beginning of the show, Marika Kobashi showed up to announce she will return to wrestling on 3rd October. She took a break from TJPW a year and a half ago to study for her university entrance exams. She was supposed to return during the Spring but it was held off because of the Coronavirus. Now she is able to come back and this time she is wrestling as a college student!

The annual 4th January show in Korakuen Hall is confirmed to be happening again in 2021.

The Up Up Girls have a new song called “Three Years In The Ring ~All Along The Way~”.

Dramatic Audition 2020, Pandemic Bye-Bye, Beautiful Challengers (& A Pervert), Dramatic Dreams 7

September 15, 2020

An introductory test was held at the Tokyo Ochanomizu Dojo on Saturday for new students to join the DDT wrestling school. Ten participants who had applied over the summer went through the “DRAMATIC AUDITION 2020” overseen by Sanshiro Takagi, Yukinori Matsui, HARASHIMA, Makoto Oishi and Konosuke Takeshita. Normally these auditions would be done privately on a one by one basis. But this year there were so many applicants that an audition of this size was considered to be the better way to do it. The audition included physical tests, an appeal performance and also interviews. No decision has been made yet over who had passed or failed the audition but it will come soon.

Tokyo Shinagawa The Grand Hall

1. Natsumi Maki Vs Hikari Noa
2. Princess Tag Team Titles: Rika Tatsumi & Miu Watanabe (c) Vs Mirai Maiumi & Suzume

The youngsters are getting a Princess Tag Team Titles shot. Suzume now has a finisher (the Ring A Bell RKO) and with Mirai Maiumi has begun winning tag matches. It is Suzume’s admiration of Rika Tatsumi that pushed her to make the challenge. Miu Watanabe was in that position before the first time she fought for the Tag Titles. Now she knows what it is like being on the other end.

The last show in Natsumi Maki’s contract will be a special one. She wanted one more chance to wrestle with her Pandemic Boo-Boo partner Hikari Noa. The surprise is Noa asked to wrestle against her in a singles match instead of teaming together one more time.

This is also Mina Shirakawa’s last show in Tokyo Joshi Pro but her match has not been announced yet.

1. Yuka Sakazaki defeated Moka Miyamoto with a Sliding Lariat (7:51).
2. Three Loss Point System Irregular Win 3 Way Match ~ Autumn Big Athletic Meet: Hyper Misao defeated Miyu Yamashita and Pom Harajuku (6:19).
2a. Miyu Yamashita eliminated Pom Harajuku by Point Loss TKO (5:55).
2b. Hyper Misao eliminated Miyu Yamashita by Point Loss TKO (6:19).
3. Nodoka Tenma & Yuki Kamifuku defeated Maki Itoh & Himawari Unagi when Kamifuku defeated Unagi with the Fame Asser (11:32).
4. Mirai Maiumi, Suzume & Sena Shiori defeated Rika Tatsumi, Miu Watanabe & Haruna Neko when Suzume pinned Neko with the RKO (12:29).
5. Natsumi Maki & Hikari Noa defeated Shoko Nakajima & Mahiro Kiryu when Maki pinned Noa with the Backlash (10:29).
6. Mizuki & Mina Shirakawa defeated Yuki Aino & Raku when Mizuki pinned Raku with the Cutie Special (13:46).

Mizuki was happy to team with Mina Shirakawa before Shirakawa leaves Tokyo Joshi Pro at the end of the month. Shirakawa responded that she personally loves and respects Mizuki. When they were interviewed backstage, Shirakawa talked about the entire roster sharing their memories of her after the news of her contracting ending came out. Mizuki said she didn’t say anything. Shirakawa corrected her by bringing up a private LINE conversation they had but Mizuki stopped her from providing any more info. For Shirakawa’s last match in TJPW she wants to do something like a Gauntlet match against the entire roster. She reconsidered when she was told that is usually done for retirement matches.

It’s not goodbye yet but Pandemic Boo-Boo teamed up for what could be the last time.

An RKO from Suzume to Haruna Neko created an upset result in Match #4. The match could have ended the other way when Miu Watanabe put Suzume in the Canadian Backbreaker. Sena Shiori made the save with a Dropkick. When Rika Tatsumi got rid of her, Suzume ran rings around Daydream distracting them long enough for Maiumi Mirai to wipe them out with a Double Lariat. After the match Suzume called for Tatsumi’s attention. She joined TJPW because of how much she admires the wrestlers and now she is one too. Suzume wants to herself and Maiumi to shine as bright as Tatsumi so they are challenging Daydream for the Princess Tag Team Titles! The match is accepted and will take place on 21st September. Watanabe seeing two young wrestlers challenging the champions reminds her of when she and Hikari Noa did the same against the Magical Sugar Rabbits two years ago.

Himawari Unagi kept shouting “Wasshoi!” during her match. Trying to get the last of that festival feeling before the summer ends I guess.

Hyper Misao’s latest idea for a match was to give each wrestler 3 points. They lost a point being pinned for 2 seconds, giving up to a submission or getting thrown over the top rope to the outside. Last wrestler with points remaining wins. Misao and Pom Harajuku worked together to take points from Miyu Yamashita. The match came down to everyone with a point each. Yamashita pinned Harajuku with the Attitude Adjustment to eliminate her. But Harajuku rolled into Yamashita’s legs afterwards and helped Misao pin her with La Magistral Cradle to give Misao the victory.

The matches were kept secret until they happened so everyone was surprised to see Yuka Sakazaki in the opener. Moka Miyamoto had her first match back after being absent with illness for a month.

6. Princess Tag Team Titles: Rika Tatsumi & Miu Watanabe (c) defeated Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao when Tatsumi pinned Misao with the Missile Hip (13:50).
*V3 for Daydream.
7. Princess Of Princess Title: Yuka Sakazaki (c) defeated Yuki Aino with the Magical Girl Niwatori Yaro (18:00).
*V3 for Yuka Sakazaki.

The world of Tokyo Joshi Pro is constantly evolving. Yuka Sakazaki proved that by doing a 450 version of the Magical Girl Splash to beat Yuki Aino. Even Sakazaki herself was surprised by how far she flew with that move. She said after the match that she shouldn’t be stagnant in situations like these which is why she used what is now called the Magical Girl Niwatori Yaro. She celebrated in the ring with Mizuki to close out the show. Sakazaki’s next goal is to win the Tokyo Princess Cup so she can continue her title reign without having any further challengers.

Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao pulled out all the stops in their attempt to win the Princess Tag Team Titles. It’s been six months since TJPW was in Korakuen Hall so the two of them wanted to give everyone a fun and exciting pro wrestling match. The most exciting thing they could think of was beating Daydream by any means necessary! Misao used cold spray to blind Miu Watanabe and taped her feet to the corner post so she was left hanging outside the ring. Misao brought out her bicycle and tried to run Watanabe over but Watanabe lifted herself up and Misao crashed into the railing. Nakajima filled the ring with kaiju toys but she was slammed on top of them by Watanabe. She used the Tear Drop on Nakajima, leaving Rika Tatsumi to scoop up the win by hitting Misao with the Missile Hip Attack. The champions agreed it was a really fun match.

Yuna Manase has bid farewell to Tokyo Joshi. She won’t be gone forever but her future lies elsewhere. In the final moments of her match, Manase took a Skull Kick from Miyu Yamashita. There were no hard feelings over it, they hugged after the match. Manase hugged Mizuki and Natsumi Maki too. She said she loved being inside the Tokyo Joshi ring. She will definitely come back again someday and when she does she will be able to fight on a higher level.

Jealousy reared its ugly head within Cat’s Pye, causing Yuki Kamifuku and Mina Shirakawa to face off in a Gravure Wrestler Showdown. Shirakawa won the match with her Glamorous Strong Style Facebuster. There was a tense moment afterwards when Kamifuku hesitated shaking Shirakawa’s hand. But she did so and and two friends left the ring together. Kamifuku said in a backstage interview that she wants to learn more about pro wrestling now she has been doing it for four years. Shirakawa has been inspired by Jushin Liger but he doesn’t match Kamifuku’s taste. So Kamifuku is going to start watching Shuji Ishikawa matches from All Japan.

The other two thirds of The Up Up Girls had a singles match together. Raku came close to a win with the Doctor Yellow. Hikari Noa hit back with a Lariat and won with the Uranage. The result has only motivated Raku to try even harder for her first singles win.

Himawari Unagi returned to the ring for her first match in nine and a half months. She had a new costume and new entrance music for her comeback match. She reunited with three of the other HiSPC wrestlers, teaming with Haruna Neko to wrestle Pom Harajuku & Mahiro Kiryu. Neko got rid of Kiryu with the Codebreaker but Unagi couldn’t seal the deal. Harajuku hit the Pom do Justice to end Unagi’s return with a loss.

The newest Tokyo Joshi debut is Moka Miyamoto. She majored in Japanese Culture at university which is why she wrestled in a hakama. Suzume was there to help out but most of the match was Miyamoto trying to fight off Mirai Maiumi & Sena Shiori.

There will be 21 women entering this year’s Tokyo Princess Cup. The full list is Yuka Sakazaki, Rika Tatsumi, Miu Watanabe, Shoko Nakajima, Miyu Yamashita, Maki Itoh, Natsumi Maki, Mizuki, Hyper Misao, Nodoka Tenma, Yuki Aino, Hikari Noa, Raku, Yuki Kamifuku, Mina Shirakawa, Haruna Neko, Pom Harajuku, Mahiro Kiryu, Himawari Unagi, Mirai Maiumi and Suzume.

The Tokyo Dome City Hall show will go ahead on 7th November. At the moment they are permitted to set up the venue to 50% capacity.

2. 3 Way Match: Maki Itoh defeated Haruna Neko and Suzume when Itoh submitted Neko with the Itoh Deluxe (8:34).
3. Yuki Kamifuku & Mina Shirakawa defeated Miyu Yamashita & Pom Harajuku when Kamifuku pinned Harajuku with the Fame Asser (10:33).
4. Yuna Manase & Hikari Noa defeated Miu Watanabe & Raku when Manase pinned Raku with the Suzuki Dynamic (10:12).
5. Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao defeated Rika Tatsumi & Mahiro Kiryu when Misao pinned Kiryu with La Magistral Cradle (12:15).
6. Yuka Sakazaki & Mizuki defeated Yuki Aino & Mirai Maiumi when Sakazaki pinned Maiumi with the Magical Girl Splash (14:12).

The main event had Yuka Sakazaki and Yuki Aino squaring off in preparation for Korakuen Hall later this month. Their attention to each other split off to the other wrestlers in the match. Aino gave Mizuki her new UBV finisher then left it to Mirai Maiumi to take care of Sakazaki. That was a fatal mistake because Sakazaki gave Mirai the Magical Merry-Go-Round then pinned her with the Magical Girl Splash. Mizuki admitted to Sakazaki after the match that Aino is dangerous. The Magical Sugar Rabbits have to be even more alert against her.

If Shoko Nakajima is teaming with Hyper Misao then she may as well learn to cheat like her too. During their match they brought Rika Tatsumi over to her cornergirl Miu Watanabe at ringside and taped the two together back to back. Tatsumi had to get back inside the ring with Watanabe taped to her but they were able to cooperate and even use themselves as a weapon. When Daisuke Kiso tried to free Daydream from the tape, Nakajima & Misao used the numbers advantage against Mahiro Kiryu. Misao purposely loosened her mask so Kiryu would pull it off by accident, Nakajima hit Kiryu with the 619 after the distraction and Misao got the pin with La Magistral Cradle.

Yuna Manase thanked the Up Up Girls (Pro Wrestling) for wrestling with her one last time before she ends her regular Tokyo Joshi Pro participation. She got permission from them to give an idol style introduction for the audience and also perform “Upper Kick” with the group. She said her Up Up Girls name would have been Mamamama Manase.

Trouble is brewing with Pink Ready. At the start of the show it was announced Yuki Kamifuku and Mina Shirakawa will have a singles match against each other on 23rd July. They were on opposite sides in a tag match today and Kamifuku won out. Shirakawa told Kamifuku she is determined to win at Korakuen. Kamifuku said she is sorry to see her friend act this way but she won’t lose to her.

Maki Itoh tried to literally sit out of the 3 Way Match by resting on the top turnbuckle. She’s a big star so she would only fight the winner between Haruna Neko and Suzume. Those two got fed up with Itoh’s behaviour and attacked her instead. Itoh blocked Suzume’s Diving Cross Body with a Headbutt then countered Neko’s Codebreaker into the Itoh Deluxe to win.

Nodoka Tenma had to miss the show due to a case of strep throat.

5. Princess Of Princess Title: Yuka Sakazaki (c) Vs Yuki Aino

Yuki Aino won the No. 1 Contender match to earn the Princess Of Princess Title shot. Beating Yuka Sakazaki for the title would be a tremendous way to cap off the last few months for her.

What a powerful force Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao can be together. The kaiju and superhero might be the strongest combination around to take the Princess Tag Titles from Daydream.

Yuna Manase has decided to end her regular participation with Tokyo Joshi Pro on 23rd July. Manase has been wrestling for TJPW since 2017 and in the last year reached several achievements. She made it to the final of the Tokyo Princess Cup and won the International Princess Title. However she couldn’t win the Princess Cup final and failed to defend the International Title even once. Her wrestling career began in Stardom, went to Actwres girl’Z and ended up in TJPW. All three companies mean a lot to Manase so she spoke to Rossy Ogawa, Tetsuya Koda and Keiji Sakaguchi before making this decision. She does not want to quit pro wrestling but she understands she is in the latter stages of her career. The time has come for her to try something new yet she hasn’t decided on what her future will be past the 23rd.

Akiyama-gun have been training for the 8-Man Tag against ALL OUT. Their latest session also included Yukio Naya and Keigo Nakamura as sparring partners. Hideki Okatani said he is learning a lot of details from Jun Akiyama in a way that is different from when he was a trainee. Mizuki Watase said he would like to use the Front Neck Lock the same way Akiyama does it. Makoto Oishi is also eager to wrestle like his coach does. Akiyama joked that the entire group is cohesive except for Oishi. One last thing, Akiyama-gun are looking for an official unit name and have asked fans to come out with one. *V2 for Daydream.

After a 4 month wait, the Princess Tag Team Titles were finally defended again. Daydream earned their second defence by beating Maki Itoh & Raku in the main event. Miu Watanabe was put in danger when Itoh gave her a Swinging DDT and Raku followed up with the Doctor Yellow. Watanabe kicked out though and turned things around to win the match with the Tear Drop. She was happy to wrestle against Raku in a title match because they both work so hard to be here. Rika Tatsumi said she wanted strong opponents for their next defence at Korakuen Hall. Out came Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao! Nakajima explained she was supposed to have an International Princess Title match in America but that was cancelled. So she now wants to fight for the Tag Titles instead. Misao is teaming with her because Misao cannot think of anything more exciting than the two of them fighting against Daydream for the belts.

We now have the next challenger for the Princess Of Princess Title for 23rd July. Yuki Aino used a High Angle Double Arm Suplex to beat Yuki Kamifuku after a few close shaves. The move is called “UBV” but it also has an alternate name called “Infinite Love And Fire”. Aino called out Yuka Sakazaki after the match. Aino told her she isn’t just challenging her for the Princess Title, she is going to win it! Sakazaki said Aino has no future if she doesn’t push herself further in their title match.

Natsumi Maki painted “Poi” onto her face correctly this time.

Himawari Unagi has her return match on 23rd July. She had been out of action for around 9 months. She sees herself starting from the bottom again because there are now wrestlers on the roster who had their debuts during her absence.

Yuki Aino challenged Yuka Sakazaki for the Princess Of Princess Title after the main event. She explained she thought progress would come slowly but she recently learned in pro wrestling you have to be sudden. So she wants to test her strength against the champion for the belt. Suddenly Yuki Kamifuku Dropkicked Aino and grabbed the microphone. She wants to challenge Sakazaki first. Sakazaki said she is happy to see so many girls in Tokyo Joshi Pro aiming to become the champion. But Aino and Kamifuku will have to fight each other to get the next shot. Their match will happen on 4th July at Ryogoku KFC Hall.

Natsumi Maki had her first match back in three months, winning against Mahiro Kiryu. She wants to wrestle matches that will give her enough energy to challenge for any of the three Tokyo Joshi championships. She also tried to paint “Poi” on her cheek but used a mirror so it ended up looking like “109”. It’s something a little different she wanted to do now she is back.

In a preview of their Princess Tag Team Titles match, Maki Itoh & Raku were on the winning side against the champions. Itoh shouted threats to Daydream afterwards. Pom Harajuku had to pull her away from them.

The Backspin Kick Miyu Yamashita uses to great effect is now called the Skull Kick. She used it to pin Hyper Misao to ended their tag match in under a minute. Misao’s plan was to make Yamashita dance to “Genghis Khan” and it worked until Yamashita kicked her. They agreed to an immediate rematch. This time Misao blinded Yamashita with cold spray and stole the win with La Magistral Cradle.

TJPW trainee Aona will have her debut match on the 23rd July Korakuen Hall show. She was originally supposed to have her match on 3rd May before the show was cancelled.
