An odd event took place during the 4 Way match on yesterday’s “NON-FIX 3.16” show. When Michael Nakazawa, Antonio Honda and DJ Nira triple teamed HARASHIMA during the match, a masked man ran to the ring and cleared house, saving HARASHIMA from the beating and causing the match to end in a No Contest. What’s odd is that the masked man was HERO!, HARASHIMA’s masked alter ego! It is not clear who is behind the mask now but HERO! made an offer to team with HARASHIMA in the future. Tsurumi Amon interjected and thought that was a great idea, so HARASHIMA & HERO! will team together on 13th April.

7. Dick Togo, Gedo & Tomohiro Ishii Vs Kota Ibushi, Antonio Honda & Daisuke Sasaki
The two GRANMA Vs Shit Heart ♥ Foundation singles matches will have repercussions for their KO-D Tag Title match in Nagoya on 17th April. The winner of each match here in will get to add a stipulation to the Tag Title match.
A wrestler by the name of Ryan Jenness (ライアン・ジェネス – could be something else, I don’t recognise the name or anything similar) is Bob Sapp’s second assassin sent after Danshoku Dino.

6. KO-D Tag Team Titles: GENTARO & Yasu Urano (c) Vs Takao Soma & Super Shit Machine

A pretty packed show here. DDT’s three big stars go at it in the main event, the Tag Titles are on the line with some stipulations yet to be added, Kenny Omega Vs MIKAMI will surely be exciting and you have the return of Mr. #6.
For some reason, Minoru Fujita has been banned from appearing at future DDT events. Fujita has lately been showing up at DDT shows uninvited and everyone has had enough. Tsurumi Amon brought it up at a meeting and they all decided to ban him from the company for now.

1. Road to the Super Jr. 2 Day Tournament – Block B – Round 1: Keisuke Ishii defeated Hiromu Takahashi with a Double Arm DDT (8:18).
4. Road to the Super Jr. 2 Day Tournament – Block B – Round 1: Madoka defeated Kazuki Hirata with the Ranhei (8:53)
6. Road to the Super Jr. 2 Day Tournament – Block A – Round 1: Daisuke Sasaki defeated Shinichiro Tominaga with the NOW or NEVER (10:08).
7. Road to the Super Jr. 2 Day Tournament – Block A – Round 1: Tsuyoshi Kikuchi defeated Ken Ohka with the Fireball Bomb (8:18).
Union’s hopes of getting involved in the Best Of The Super Juniors tour is not looking good. Both of their homegrown talent crashed out in the first round, Ken Ohka losing to TKG48 member Tsuyoshi Kikuchi and Shinichiro Tominaga losing to Daisuke Sasaki. DDT faired a little better with Sasaki and Keisuke Ishii both going through to the next round. Kazuki Hirata was the only DDT rep who failed to get through, losing to Madoka. The tournament will finish on NEVER.7, taking place tomorrow.

JAPW Light Heavyweight Title: Jushin Thunder Liger (c) Vs Kenny Omega
Kenny Omega has a big role to play when New Japan tours the United States. Back in America, Kenny spent a good part of his career in Jersey All Pro Wrestling. One of his most recent matches in the promotion was a 6-way Elimination match for the JAPW Light Heavyweight Title. He was knocked out of the match by the eventual winner, one Jushin Lyger. Now that Lyger is back in America for New Japan’s series of shows in the country, Kenny will challenge Lyger for the title one-on-one.
Hikaru Sato is getting ready to enter another tournament. This time he is going back to All Japan as a last minute entry for the AJPW Jr. Tag League. His partner? Kikutaro! Is this pairing strong enough to defeat the likes of Kaz Hayashi & KAI, Shuji Kondo & Hiroshi Yamato or Koji Kanemoto & Minoru? Did this year’s Wrestlemania have an exciting main event?

1. Hikaru Sato defeated Akito with an Ankle Hold (7:43).
2. MIKAMI & Hoshitango defeated Tanomusaki Toba & Tsuyoshi Kikuchi when Hoshitango pinned Toba with a Uranage (7:55).
3. Takao Soma, Tomimitsu Matsunaga & Super Shit Machine defeated Dick Togo, GENTARO & Yasu Urano by DQ when GENTARO used a chair on Soma (12:02).
4. 4 Way: HARASHIMA Vs Michael Nakazawa Vs Antonio Honda Vs DJ Nira ended in a No Contest (9:12).
5. Daisuke Sasaki defeated Keisuke Ishii with the NOW or NEVER (10:37).
6. Danshoku Dino, KUDO & Makoto Oishi defeated Kota Ibushi, Kenny Omega & Kazuki Hirata when Dino pinned Hirata with the Danshoku Driver (17:31).
After the main event, Tsurumi Amon approached Danshoku Dino in the ring to inform him of Bob Sapp’s latest Tweet. The message was a warning about Sapp’s next assassin. While they were reading the message, the ‘assassin’ suddenly appeared and entered the ring to attack Dino. Dino dodged him but accidentaly sent his attacker slamming into Tsurumi Amon and knocking him out. Dino and the wrestler fought to the back as the show ended.
The 4 Way match unintentionally started off as a 5 Way match. Minoru Fujita made his entrance along with the other competitors and Yukinori Matsui never noticed it. Tsurumi Amon had to stop the match and tell Matsui that Fujita wasn’t supposed to be here. He was eventually dragged away from ringside and the match continued. As the match progressed, DJ Nira formed an alliance with Michael Nakazawa and Antonio Honda and all three focused their attacks on HARAHSIMA. Nakazawa is starting to act like The Rock, but his attempts at The People’s Elbow ended badly when HARASHIMA rolled out of the way. HARASHIMA fought back but eventually the numbers game was proving too much. When all seemed lost, HARASHIMA was suddenly saved by HERO!, who cleared the ring. Matsui called for a No Contest as HARASHIMA was surprised to see himself being saved by his own alter ego.

Rion Mizuki has pulled out of tomorrow’s “NON-FIX” show due to a torn muscle in his right leg. Tsuyoshi Kikuchi will take his place in Match #2. The pairing for the match has also been changed. Mizuki was supposed to team with MIKAMI to take on Hoshitango & Tanomusaku Toba. Instead MIKAMI and Hoshitango will now team with each other while Kikuchi will team with Toba, despite breaking the guy’s nose a month ago.

Dick Togo may have eliminated Kota Ibushi from the title chase, but he still has a busy time ahead of him. The main event for DDT’s return to Shinjuku FACE on 13th April has Togo teaming with New Japan wrestlers Gedo & Tomohiro Ishii to take on Ibushi, Antonio Honda & Daisuke Sasaki.
Shuji Ishikawa is next in line for a crack at the KO-D Openweight Champion after winning the Battle Royal from the 14th Anniversary show. Their match is set for 4th May in Korakuen Hall. That’s not all, as Togo’s GRANMA stablemate GENTARO has the “Anytime And Anywhere” title shot, which allows him to cash it in at any show from now until Sumo Hall. GENTARO has claimed he will challenge the winner of Togo Vs Ishikawa, but he hasn’t exactly said when he will face them.
GENTARO has enough on his plate already. He and Yasu Urano are currently the KO-D Tag Team Champions and they now have the Shit Heart ♥ Foundation on their heels. Takao Soma and the Super Shit Machine are next in line to challenge for the belts. Two singles matches involving both sides will happen on 13th April. GENTARO better not take Takao Soma lightly as the young SHF leader has been on a role this year. Meanwhile Yasu Urano faces the Super Shit Machine, who has already made his presence felt in DDT with his SHIT Down Power Bomb finisher (Best move name of 2011 so far). The Tag Team Title match will take place four days later in Nagoya.
Danshoku Dino was able to defeat the first of Bob Sapp’s assassins, American indy wrestler Jonathan Gresham. Another assassin will battle Dino in Shinjuku FACE. Just the thought of Bob Sapp training pro wrestlers to be ninjas fills me with great joy.

There are plenty of questions to ask about tomorrow’s DDT show. Can Kota Ibushi dethrone Dick Togo? Who will get the “Anytime and Anywhere” Title Shot? What other participants and prizes will be part of the Battle Royal? Who is the assassin sent by Bob Sapp to fight Danshoku Dino? Has Antonio Honda stepped up enough of his game to match HARASHIMA? What does Poison Sawada JULIE have in store for the fans when he brings in the Snake Corps? All this and more will be answered in what will be an important stop on the road to Sumo Hall.
DDT’s next DVD release will be “BEST OF THE SUPER Street Wrestling King – Kota Ibushi”, a collection of DDT’s infamous “Anywhere Pro Wrestling” matches featuring the Golden Star. It was originally supposed to be released in time for tomorrow’s 14th Anniversary show but production was delayed due to the recent disasters in Japan. The new release date for the DVD is 13th April.
