Gorgeous Matsuno celebrated 10 years of wrestling by hosting a special event in his home of Fukushima. However his special day was almost spoiled by Sanshiro Takagi, Danshoku Dino & Masa Takanashi. The show began with a musical performance featuring Matsuno and singer Junko Tashiro but Takagi and his interrupted the song by attacking Matsuno. Takagi was about to give Matsuno the Spiccoli Driver when HARASHIMA, MIKAMI and Poison Sawada JULIE all came to the rescue. JULIE wished Matsuno good luck in the main event and stuck around to protect him from any more foul play. Matsuno got his revenge in the main event when he pinned Takanashi with the Swanton Bomb right after HARASHIMA ran over Masa with the Somato. After the match, JULIE used his snake magic to heal Matsuno and give him the energy to end the show with another song.

Dai Resigns, NOSAWA Returns, Gorgeous Night, Takayama Pops Up In Odate

October 19, 2012

Takashi Dai, who was injured in his debut match back in March has resigned from DDT. Dai suffered a cervical fracture as well as damage to his spinal cord during his match with Shigehiro Irie and has been been in rehabilitation since then. The good news is he has recovered enough to where he can exercise again. However, it is unlikely he will return to wrestling anytime soon so he and DDT came to terms on his release.

7. 3 Way: Kota Ibushi Vs Danshoku Dino Vs HARASHIMA

The Shit Heart ♥ Foundation have been getting one over GRANMA for the last couple of shows thanks to some dirty tricks. Now Takao Soma & Super Shit Machine have two more advantages over GENTARO & Yasu Urano, the SHF are allowed fight under No DQ rules and the champions have to pin the challengers for five seconds in order to win. GENTARO & Urano have a tough task ahead of them if they aim to keep the KO-D Tag Team Titles around their waists.

HARASHIMA & HERO! have been nominated as the next challengers for the KO-D Tag Team Titles. They will take on whichever team leaves the 17/04 Nagoya show as champions.

Danshoku Dino is two for two against Bob Sapp’s deadly army of assassins. The third one being sent to face Dino has been described as a thug. Take that for what it’s worth.

Gorgeous Matsuno has been away from wrestling matches in DDT since September 2008 due to old age and ill health. He’s made appearances in DDT since then but this will be his first match back in over two and a half years.
