5. Mizuki Debut 10th Anniversary Match: Mizuki & Rika Tatsumi defeated Yuka Sakazaki & Nao Kakuta when Mizuki pinned Kakuta with the Cutie Special (18:12).
On 29th December 2012 Mizuki made her pro wrestling debut for the LLPW-X promotion. A decade later and she is celebrating 10 years in the business under the Tokyo Joshi Pro banner. She was showered in paper streamers for her ring entrance before the main event. The tag match has unusual pairings because the usual tag partners Mizuki and Yuka Sakazaki were this time opponents. Sakazaki was jealous to see Rika Tatsumi pull off double team moves with her tag partner and the two started fighting over Mizuki. Nao Kakuta had to smack everyone over their heads to get the match back on track. Mizuki made the most of her special day by winning the match. She wiped out Sakazaki with the Whirling Candy before pinning Kakuta with the Cutie Special.
After the match Tatsumi had to stop Sakazaki & Kakuta from leaving the ring so they could all celebrate Mizuki’s anniversary together. She said she was really happy to be chosen as Mizuki’s partner for the special occasion. Mizuki thanked Tatsumi and also added it was for the first and last time. Tatsumi tried to change her mind but got cut off. Mizuki spoke about when she debuted with SAKI and they survived the early part of their careers together. Over the years Mizuki was surrounded by her senior wrestlers who she respected and then made her way to TJPW where she made a lot of new friends. She wants to continue fighting for everyone who supports her. Backstage she slightly changed her mind about not teaming with Tatsumi ever again. They could do it once every ten years. As for fighting Sakazaki again, Mizuki has mixed feelings about it. She thought she would never want to fight Sakazaki but what she does know is she wants to continue working with her for a long time.
Rhio gets to go home with her head held high. She got the pinfall in her final match of her tour, pinning Moka Miyamoto with her version of the Neck Screw Hold called the Dreaded End. The match was important for Yuki Arai too because she got to fight against a foreign wrestler again. Even though her team lost, Arai’s confidence has grown and she no longer fears having to wrestle against opponents from overseas. She now has a more positive mindset going into her upcoming Princess Tag Team Titles defence against the Wasteland War Party.
A show all about Mizuki needed a match full of Mizuki’s. There was a Rumble match featuring several TJPW wrestlers all dressed in one of Mizuki’s old costumes. Hyper Misao declared herself to be Mizuki II and tried to sing “Setsunairo” until the others physically stopped her. Pom Harajuku attempted the Whirling Candy but failed. Misao asked the other Mizuki’s what they had for breakfast. Everyone said yogurt, except for Miu Watanabe. She said she had protein. Misao argued a proper Mizuki would never eat protein so Watanabe should be disqualified but Daisuke Kiso refused her demand. The final entrant Miyu Yamashita came down wearing the outfit from her own debut match. Her excuse was none of Mizuki’s costumes fitted her and this was the closest replacement she could find. Kiso didn’t accept the explanation and disqualified her. Misao convinced Suzume to try and do the Toy Story 4 together but when they made it to the top rope, Misao betrated Suzume and pushed her out of the ring. She then did the I Am A Hero to Watanabe and Yuki Aino but was caught and thrown over the top rope by both of them. Watanabe tried to do the Diving Foot Stomp from the top rope but being up so high made her legs shake and she froze until the others knocked her out of the ring. The final two were Aino and Harajuku. They both attempted the Cutie Special but neither could pull it off. Aino was able to get Harajuku onto the apron and Dropkicked her to the floor to win the Battle Royale full of Mizuki’s!
Two new debuts will take place on 4th January. Wakana Uehara and HIMAWARI will have their first pro matches on the show. Uehara is from the Yume Pro Wrestling -dream on the ring- series and said she is happy to go from an exhibition match to a pro match. She wants to make TJPW more exciting. HIMAWARI (formerly Himawari Sato) can’t wait for her match to happen because right now it does not feel real yet. She wants to do her best to entertain the fans.
The full card for the Christmas Eve show in Ryogoku KFC Hall was revealed at the start of the show. Most of the matches were determined by a lottery with different fans picking names out of a box.
