DDT “ALL NIGHT DDT – PART 1”, 10/09/2011
Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. Antonio Honda & Poison JULIE Sawada defeated MIKAMI & Kazuki Hirata when Sawada pinned Hirata with the Pirates A GOGO (13:57).
2. Hoshitango defeated DJ Nira with a Sunset Flip (6:10).
3. Hikaru Sato & Takao Soma defeated HERO! & Darkside HERO! by DQ when Darkside HERO! attacked Soma with the Black Box (13:26).
4. Yasu Urano defeated Daisuke Sasaki with a Frankensteiner (7:59).
5. HARASHIMA defeated Masa Takanashi with the Somato (12:03).
6. Kota Ibushi, Danshoku Dino & Makoto Oishi defeated KUDO, Keisuke Ishii & Michael Nakazawa when Ibushi pinned Nakazawa with a Diving Body Press (16:37).

DDT “ALL NIGHT DDT – PART 2”, 10/09/2011
Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. Bra & Panties Rumble: Daisuke Sasaki defeated Gatti by stripping him of his bra and panties (10:32).
Order Of Elimination: Keisuke Ishii, Kota Ibushi, Yasu Urano, HARASHIMA, Hikaru Sato, Sanshiro “I Am Chono” Takagi, Gatti.

The Bra & Panties Rumble had everyone involved wrestling in lingerie with eliminations occuring when someone was stripped of their bra and panties. Thankfully they were still wearing their own shorts underneath. The ring was also covered in a large mat because bottles of lotion were left aside for the wrestlers to use, creating a very slippy battleground for the scantily clad competitors.

DDT “ALL NIGHT DDT – PART 3”, 10/09/2011
Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. Makoto Oishi, Masa Takanashi & Madoka defeated KUDO, Mitsuhiro Yoshida & Shota when Oishi pinned Shota with a Small Package (5:54).
2. 4 Way: Antonio Honda Vs Big Morohashi Vs Chou-un Shiryu Vs Batten Tamagawa ended in a No Contest when Yoshiko woke up (7:12).

Before Part 3 began Tsurumi Amon was suddenly interrupted by Stardom wrestler Yoshiko, who came in complaining that she could not get any sleep thanks to this show taking place in the middle of the night. Amon came up with a plan to solve her problem. A mattress, a large quilt and a couple of pillows were then brought into the ring. Yoshiko lied down on the mattress and pulled the covers over herself while MIKAMI, Poison JULIE Sawada, HERO!, Darkside HERO! and Kazuki Hirata all sang songs to help her fall asleep. It almost worked until Hirata began singing so badly that Yoshiko knocked him out. The others started singing again and this time she was able to fall asleep.

The rest of the show quietly took place while Yoshiko was sleeping in the ring. Everyone tried to wrestle around her and avoided trying to wake up. This worked until the 4 Way match when Batten Tamagawa landed on top of her. When Yoshiko threatened to kick the crap out of whoever it was that woke her up, everyone blamed it on Kazuki Hirata. So Yoshiko knocked him out again.

So far the only match announced for the second show is a Bra & Panties Rumble filled with male wrestlers. After that show is finished, Tsurumi Amon will end the morning with his own little non-wrestling event.

DDT “NON-FIX 9.18”, 18/09/2011

1. 3 Way: Darkside HERO! Vs Kazuki Hirata Vs Masa Takanashi
2. Poison JULIE Sawada & Keisuke Ishii Vs MIKAMI & Daisuke Sasaki

A big match for Makoto Oishi, who has the home field advantage in the K-DOJO arena. A win here against KUDO would give him a great chance to get a future KO-D Openweight Title shot. It could even give him a boost in votes for the DDT48 Election.

Campsite Update, All Night DDT, Chiba Matches

September 3, 2011

I’m not 100% certain but due to a typhoon that is heading towards Japan this weekend, DDT may have to cancel tomorrow’s “CAMPING-GROUND PRO-WRESTLING OM” show. Obviously holding a wrestling show in an outdoor campsite during a typhoon is not the safest of ideas for both the wrestlers and the fans. But if the weather holds up the show will go ahead, possibly with certain areas of the campsite becoming off limits to wrestlers and fans.

DDT “ALL NIGHT DDT”, 10/09/2011
Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. Hoshitango Vs DJ Nira
2. Antonio Honda & Poison JULIE Sawada Vs MIKAMI Vs Kazuki Hirata
3. Yasu Urano Vs Daisuke Sasaki
4. Hikaru Sato & Takao Soma Vs HERO! & Darkside HERO!
5. HARASHIMA Vs Masa Takanashi
6. KUDO, Keisuke Ishii & Michael Nakazawa Vs Kota Ibushi, Danshoku Dino & Makoto Oishi

This show will have a special late night start, beginning at 1:00 am. Not only that, but another show will take place in Shin-Kiba 1st RING later that morning at 3:30 am.

DDT “NON-FIX 9.18”, 18/09/2011
Chiba Blue Field

1. Yasu Urano Vs Hiro Tonai
2. Shigehiro Irie & Takao Soma Vs Yuji Hino & Ryuichi Sekine
3. HARASHIMA Vs HERO!

HARASHIMA gets his shot at revenge on his alter ego after both HERO! and Darkside HERO! betrayed him. Maybe the Prototype HERO! that showed up during “BEER FIGHT 2011” will appear and offer to help him. You can’t have enough HERO! in DDT it seems.

2. Takao Soma & Shigehiro Irie defeated Hikaru Sato & Tanomusaku Toba when Soma pinned Toba with the Diving Guillotine Drop (11:39).

6. Customer Draw 6 Man Tag Team: KUDO, Danshoku Dino & Kota Ibushi defeated Keisuke Ishii, Masa Takanashi & Kenny Omega when KUDO pinned Takanashi with the Diving Double Knee Drop (17:45).

The final day of “BEER FIGHT 2011” ended the way it always does, with the entire DDT roster going into the ring and exposing their backsides while drinking loads and loads of beer.

Daisuke Sasaki was in possession of a mysterious crystal ball and claimed that it gave him the power he needs to defeat Poison Sawada JULIE. His claims turned out to be true as Sasaki defeated JULIE with his own finisher, the Cattle Mutilation.

Another HERO! has now shown up to help HARASHIMA. This time Darkside HERO! came to rescue HARASHIMA & HERO! from Yasu Urano & Hoshitango, only for his interference to disqualify them and lose the match. Darkside HERO! told HARASHIMA that he came “to help the heart that believes.” The three of them all decided to team up together at the next Korakuen Hall show.

Hikaru Sato wrestled in women’s swimwear while Tanomusaku Toba wrestled as a schoolgirl in their tag match.

Sexxxy Eddy performed his striptease for Cherry in the ring before his match.

DDT “BEER FIGHT 2011 ~ TSURUMI AMON DAY” Results

DDT “BEER FIGHT 2011 ~ TSURUMI AMON DAY”, 12/08/2011
Shin-Kiba 1st RING
525 Fans

1. WCW Deathmatch: Antonio Honda & Chou-un Shiryu Vs Danshoku Dino & Yasu Urano ended in a No Contest (10:00).
2. 8-Way Halloween Havoc Electric Chair Match: Antonio Honda Vs Daisuke Sasaki Vs Yasu Urano Vs Big Morohashi Vs Chou-un Shiryu Vs Danshoku Dino Vs Ryan Genesis Vs Tangoman ended when Big Morohashi was placed in the Electric Chair (16:41).

This show was Tsurumi Amon’s love letter to WCW. The kind of love letter that would result in a restraining order. He also called the show “Friday Nitro” all evening.

The first match had a rule that after three minutes, Tsurumi Amon would begin to tell a ghost story about WCW wrestlers. The three minutes ran out and Tsurumi began the story…

One day, Sting came up with the idea that all of the WCW wrestlers should share rental cars when they travel to the stadium where Monday Nitro was taking place. Six of the wrestlers paired off and each hired their own vehicle. They were Sting & Lex Luger, Ric Flair & Arn Anderson and Booker T & Diamond Dallas Page. So they all began their drive to the stadium. While they were on the road, Luger told Sting he had to deal with an urgent message before they reached their destination. Sting said it was ok and he would be able to walk the rest of the way. So Sting left the car and walked on as Luger drove off. When Sting arrived in the locker room he saw that everyone was crying. “What happened?” asked Sting. “Luger died in a car accident on the way over here,” said Arn. Sting was surprised. But then there was a sudden knock at the door. “It’s me, Luger. Open up!” Sting opened the door and it was indeed Lex Luger, showing no signs of injury. “What is going on?” asked Sting. Hulk Hogan suddenly showed up and said the traffic accident involved four cars, with no survivors. Hogan looked at all the wrestlers and asked them “Do you know who really died, brother?” Hogan pointed at all of them and yelled “YOU!”

Then “Real American” began playing on the sound system and everyone in the ring danced along while doing Hulk Hogan poses.

Hoshitango was supposed to do a reinactment of the world famous Goldberg entrance between the two matches. Antonio Honda and Chou-un Shiryu came out dressed as Goldberg’s bodyguards. It somehow led to the bodyguards brawling with Big Morohashi and Daisuke Sasaki, who were both wearing Sting facepaint. The Stingers got the bodyguards in stereo Scorpion Deathlocks when Tsurumi Amon told Hoshitango to finally come out and do his Goldberg impersonation. Instead “Enter Sandman” played over the speakers and out came Hoshitango dressed as The Sandman! He went through the crowd drinking beer and smashing empty cans over his head when suddenly Ryan Genesis attacked him. The fun and games stopped when Tsurumi Amon ordered everyone to take part in a deadly main event.

The main event was the dreaded 8-Way Halloween Havoc Electric Chair Match! The inspiration of this match is the infamous Chamber Of Horrors match from Halloween Havoc 1990. The match was filled with chaos. Ryan Genesis did not forget his match with Danshoku Dino from April and he gave Dino his own version of the Danshoku Nightmare. The match was so wild that Kota Ibushi, Hikaru Sato and Sanshiro Takagi even got involved, brawling with the wrestlers and each other at ringside. Big Morohashi became the unfortunate wrestler to be placed in the electric chair. But before it was switched on, everyone attacked Tsurumi Amon, tied him to the chair and switched it on. When the torture ended, Tsurumi went unconcious. Everybody panicked and tried to revive him. Big Morohashi was especially worried as Amon took his place on the chair. Everyone counted down from “5…4…3…2…1… Happy Birthday!” Tsurumi was back on his feet and wishing Morohashi a happy birthday along with everyone else.

Mr. Magic suddenly appeared with a birthday cake for Morohashi. However, he said that his birthday is 24th August, not the 12th. Tsurumi asked everyone in the audience if today was any of their birthdays, to which one or two people said it was theirs. So the entire arena sang Happy Birthday to them. Tsurumi then knocked down everybody in the ring with Hulk Hogan style pointing before getting hit in the face with cake. The show finally ended with a beer bash inside the ring.

It still made more sense than anything Vince Russo ever booked in WCW.

Changes To Beer Fight Card, DDT In Your House

August 11, 2011

DDT “BEER FIGHT 2011 ~ DDT DAY”, 13/08/2011
Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. MIKAMI Vs DJ Nira
2. Antonio Honda, Makoto Oishi & Kazuki Hirata Vs Michael Nakazawa, Sexxxy Eddy & Ryan Genesis
3. Hikaru Sato & Tanomusaku Toba Vs Takao Soma & Shigehiro Irie
4. HARASHIMA & HERO! Vs Yasu Urano & Hoshitango
5. Poison Sawada JULIE Vs Daisuke Sasaki
6. Customer Draw 6 Man Tag Team: KUDO, Kota Ibushi, Kenny Omega, Danshoku Dino, Keisuke Ishii and Masa Takanashi

Some alterations have been made for the final day of “BEER FIGHT 2011”. Yasu Urano replaces MIKAMI in Match #4. MIKAMI will now face DJ Nira in the opener. Kazuki Hirata is bumped up into the second match to team with Antonio Honda & Makoto Oishi to face Michael Nakazawa and two wrestlers of his choice. They turned out to be Sexxxy Eddy and Ryan Genesis.

Here is DDT’s latest crazy idea: Apartment Pro Wrestling. On 24th August an apartment somewhere in Tokyo will be the location for a DDT wrestling match. No names or detailed location has been mentioned yet. That’s not all, a contest for fans will be held during the Beer Fight DDT Day show with the prize being a ticket to see the show inside the apartment. Only ten tickets will be given out and no more will be available at all after that. So yeah, some poor sod is going to have people like Kota Ibushi and Danshoku Dino come over to his place and wreck the gaff.

1b. Best Of The Super Indy – Round 2: Kenny Omega defeated Kouchou with the Croyt’s Wrath (5:12).
1c. Best Of The Super Indy – Semi-Final: Kenny Omega defeated Miyako Matsumoto with a Cradle (2:54).
1d. Best Of The Super Indy – Final: Kenny Omega defeated Yukihiro Abe with the Croyt’s Wrath (5:33).
2. Team DEEP Challenge: Jason Geiger & Isamu Sugiuchi defeated Hikaru Sato & Michael “Judo King” Nakazawa when Sugiuchi submitted Nakazawa with the Deep Throat Choke Sleeper (16:11).
3. Three Monkeys Match: No Looking Monkey (Antonio Honda) defeated No Hearing Monkey (DJ Nira) and No Speaking Monkey (Masa Takanashi) when No Looking Monkey submitted No Hearing Monkey with the Octopus Hold (10:05).
4. Falls Count Anywhere: Kota Ibushi, Kenny Omega & Michael Nakazawa defeated Sexxxy Eddy, Sexy X (Sanshiro Takagi) & Sexy XXX (Shigehiro Irie) when Omega and Nakazawa pinned Sexy XXX with the Croyt’s Wrath and Union Jackknife combo (18:29).

It was now the turn of Kenny Omega & Michael Nakazawa to hold their show for the week. The main event saw Omega & Nakazawa team with Kota Ibushi to take on Sexxxy Eddy and his pals, Sexy X (Sanshiro Takagi) and Sexy XXX (Shigehiro Irie). The trio called themselves Sexy To The MAX and they were a handful for the Golden Lovers and Nakazawa. Literally as at one point there was a complete chain of wrestlers grabbing each other by the crotch. At the end though, Kenny and Michael both pinned Sexy XXX after the Croyt’s Wrath. The show ended with Kenny and Michael dancing with Yukihiro Abe, who dressed as Haruhi Suzumiya.

The Three Monkeys match had three DDT wrestlers each representing one of the proverbial “Three Wise Monkeys”. Antonio Honda was No Looking Monkey and he had to wrestle blindfolded. DJ Nira was No Hearing Monkey and had to wrestle with headphones that blocked his hearing. Masa Takanashi was No Speaking Monkey and he had to wear a surgical mask to cover his mouth. Each wrestler could not take off their item or break their character during the match.

Nakazawa’s “Judo King” look was a nurse costume, an S&M mask, silk gloves and silk stockings. Teaming with Hikaru Sato again, the two used sleazier tactics to combat their hybrid fighter opponents. They used leather whips and poured candle wax on both Jason Gieger & Isamu Sugiuchi but Team DEEP soon turned the tables and gave Nakazawa & Sato a taste of their own medicine. Nakazawa went even further by bringing in a dildo but Sugiuchi shoved it down Nakazawa’s throat and applied a Choke Sleeper to submit him.

Kenny Omega went through a gauntlet of micro indy wrestlers to win the “Best Of The Super Indy” challenge. His opponents included Animal Hamaguchi impersonator Yoshietsuneo, Kouchou the Ultimo Dragon knock off from nkw and former Ice Ribbon, now Gakenofuchi Pro and one woman show Miyaki Matsumoto. After Omega defeated those just mentioned, he faced the returning Yukihiro Abe in the final. Abe left DDT when his contract ran out earlier in the year but he still participates in Style-E. Omega was able to pin Abe with the Croyt’s Wrath to win the entire match. Abe took the mic afterwards and said it was a while since his last match in DDT, but he wanted to face Kenny and was happy to take part in the show.

The 3 Way Tag Team match saw some shenanigans take place and the match was described as using “Free Summer Rules”. Items such as inflatable water rings, a super soaker, an umbrella and a beach ball were used during the match.
