6. Rika Tatsumi, Nodoka Tenma & Yuki Aino defeated Miyu Yamashita, Yuna Manase & Raku when Tatsumi pinned Raku with the Missile Hip (11:09).

There were a few absences today for various reasons. Some women like Yuka Sakazaki and Maki Itoh were wrestling in England while others like Mina Shirakawa and Thunder Rosa were sick with the flu. Also Miu Watanabe and Mirai Maiumi were busy attending their coming of age ceremonies.

Natsumi Maki spoke about how much fun she had wrestling against Sareee on 4th January. She wants to have another challenging match like that again so she put out a challenge to Miyu Yamashita!

Akemi Daredasore was unmasked during a sequence with Haruna Neko. When Neko handed the mask over to the referee, Daredasore pinned her with La Magistral Cradle. Neko then chased her out of the ring.

Hikari Noa helped Sena Shiori get into Tokyo Joshi Pro. So it was only fitting for her to be Shiori’s first singles opponent.

Yamashita took Watanabe’s place in the show opening Up Up Girls (Pro Wrestling) performance. She lost her positioning and got accidentally kicked by Noa.

More information about Tokyo Joshi’s trip to Tampa Bay this April came out. “TJPW IS COMING TO AMERICA WITH DDT” will feature 14 TJPW wrestlers, 2 DDT wrestlers and several foreign wrestlers as well. Tickets will go on sale tomorrow.

7. Natsumi Maki, Yuka Sakazaki & Mizuki defeated Yuna Manase, Maki Itoh & Mina Shirakawa when Sakazaki pinned Shirakawa with the Magical Merry-Go-Round (12:05).
8. Princess Of Princess Title: Shoko Nakajima (c) defeated Misao with the Diving Senton (15:58).
*V3 for Shoko Nakajima.

Misao has been defeated for the first time since her transformation into Sakisama’s guardswoman. Shoko Nakajima was able to reach the ropes to break the Libera Me submission hold. She used a Double Arm DDT to put Misao in position and won with the Diving Senton. With her toughest challenge so far now behind her, Nakajima decided that the next Princess Of Princess Title match should be held at DDT “ULTIMATE PARTY 2019!” on 3rd November. She already decided on her opponent: Yuka Sakazaki! Together they will show DDT fans the best of Tokyo Joshi Pro at Sumo Hall! They did the Miraclians pose together to end the show. Sakazaki kind of forgot how to do it so Nakajima had to guide her.

Yuna Manase entered to new music. Mina Shirakawa wore the Best Body Japan Women’s Title that she won on 1st September down to the ring. Natsumi Maki mentioned feeling pain around her waist after her match and had to be carried away from the ring. It turned out to be minor and will not effect tomorrow’s International Princess Title defence against Manase. Maki noticed that Manase’s kicks today had more strength behind them than before.

Hikari Noa defeated Miu Watanabe in the latest match between members of the Up Up Girls (Pro Wrestling).

Yuki Kamifuku lost to Sakisama but had enough energy left to call for her attention after the match. Kamifuku asked Sakisama what she thinks of her now? Kamifuku thinks she is working hard and doing so both happily and beautifully. She then asked Sakisama to please keep an eye on her. Sakisama surprised everyone by telling her she is looking forward to it.

Rika Tatsumi versus Suzume was a little emotional because the two have been friends since before Suzume trained to become a wrestler. Even though Tatsumi targeted Suzume’s legs in the match and could have beaten her with a Figure 4 Leg Lock, she instead decided to win with the Dragon Sleeper in order to show off her dragon skills. She thinks that hiding beneath Suzume’s pretty look is a strong and tenacious girl. Pro wrestling will bring that girl to the surface.

3c. Human Watermelon Split Match: Yuka Sakazaki (10) Vs Hikari Noa (37) ended in a Time Limit Draw.
4. Captain’s Fall 2 Count Match: Mizuki, Himawari Unagi & Mahiro Kiryu (C) defeated Miyu Yamashita, Rika Tatsumi & Pom Harajuku (C) (13:50).
4a. Miyu Yamashita eliminated Himawari Unagi with the Cobra Clutch (6:20).
4b. Mizuki eliminated Miyu Yamashita with a Casadora (8:09).
4c. Rika Tatsumi eliminated Mizuki with a Backwards Cradle (10:51).
4d. Mahiro Kiryu defeated Pom Harajuku with the Oklahoma Roll (13:50).

The main event was a Mystery Captain’s Fall tag match with 2 count pins needed to win. The two captains were privately chosen backstage and would not be revealed until they were eliminated from the match. That led to the wrestlers trying to figure out who the opposing captain was while they fought each other. Rika Tatsumi suffered an embarrassing moment when she approached Mizuki to shake hands but was ignored. Miyu Yamashita submitted Himawari Unagi but she was not the captain so the match continued. When Yamashita went on offence against Mizuki, Tatsumi pleaded with her to stop. That distraction allowed Mizuki to pin Yamashita with a Casadora. Tatsumi tried to wrestle Mizuki but couldn’t bring herself to do it. She was even overcome with joy when Mizuki put her in a Sleeper Hold. Pom Harajuku pushed the sleeping Tatsumi on top of Mizuki for an unexpected 2 count elimination. An upset Mizuki said she hates Tatsumi after that. Mahiro Kiryu was the last one left on her team which meant she was the captain. Tatsumi missed the Missile Hips and struck Harajuku by mistake. Kiryu capitalized and pinned Harajuku with the Oklahoma Rool. It was revealed that Harajuku was the other captain so Kiryu’s team wins! Mizuki reconciled with Tatsumi after the match.

Yuka Sakazaki and Hikari Noa were challenged to a series of games. First was a bug catching contest. They were told that 5 cicadas, 10 stag beetles, 15 rhinoceros beetles and 20 butterflies were hidden around the venue. Noa found four cicada shells and a dung beetle which earned her 7 points. Sakazaki caught two proper cicadas which was enough to win with 10 points.

The 2nd game was a drawing contest. The rules here was both girls had to wrestle a brief match and their allotted drawing time depended on how many seconds they pinned their opponent for. Noa pinned Sakazaki for four seconds so she was given 40 seconds to draw her picture. Sakazaki pinned Noa for 7 seconds so she got 70 seconds drawing time. The subject they had to draw was Sanshiro Takagi. Despite having a shorter time limit, Noa’s drawing won the fan vote and she received 30 points.

The final and deciding game was a Human Watermelon Split Match. Sayuri Nanba wore a paper balloon over their head and sat down in the ring. Sakazaki and Noa were blindfolded and their goal was to hit the balloon with their bat. Whoever hit it first got 10,000 points. However Nanba had Tetsuya Koda and the new trainee Shiori sitting down beside her to act as a misdirection. Both Sakazaki and Noa were tricked by the audience into hitting Koda over and over until the time ran out. The game was a draw but since Noa had the most overall points from the three games she was declared the winner. When the blindfolds were taken off Sakazaki couldn’t resist hitting the balloon over Nanba’s head.

For the third time The Bakuretsu Sisters overate before a fan club show and became too ill to wrestle. They were replaced by the Mexcian lucadoras Mil Nodocaras & Yuki Caras who were in the country for some sightseeing. They were in for a fight because “Iron Man” played and the Up Up Warriors rushed down to the ring! The Nodocaras Sisters used their Japanese souvenirs to successfully fight off Warrior Miu & Warrior Raku.

YUMI had the size advantage to throw Shoko Nakajima around the ring but the gap in experience prevented her from winning. Nakajima countered the Full Nelson Buster into a European Clutch for the victory.

Izumi was given a short exhibition bout with Mirai Maiumi just to give her some ring time. She will reveal her official ring name and wrestling costume at an event in Akihabara tomorrow.

Daisuke Sasaki was so drunk by the end of Beer Garden week that he has no memory of how he got a DDT Extreme Title match with Jiro Kuroshio. He remembers eating watermelon and also Kuroshio’s wonderful hair but that’s it. Kuroshio says this is a match that nobody should laugh at. In fact Kuroshio Vs Sasaki is a match he thinks fans want to see. He also didn’t know that he gets to make the stipulation. So he hasn’t thought of one yet but promises it will be something serious.

So Konosuke Takeshita’s summer challenge before Shinya Aoki is an 8-Man Tag with Santino Marella involved. Didn’t see that coming.

4. KO-D Tag Team Titles: Daisuke Sasaki & Soma Takao (c) Vs Jiro Kuroshio & Kazusada Higuchi
5. KO-D Openweight Title: Konosuke Takeshita (c) Vs Shinya Aoki

Kuroshio is acting like he is Kazusada Higuchi’s little brother so they can challenge for the KO-D Tag Team Titles. Higuchi is happy to go along with it and promises to win the belt for their family. They’re not related by blood but if they win then it is proof that they are real brothers. If they do become the champions Kuroshio wants to defend the belts against The Brahman Brothers. In response to this, Sasaki is making fun of the situation by saying he is Higuchi’s dad. Higuchi points out that Sasaki is only three years older than him. Sasaki fired back by saying he was only three years old when he was with Higuchi’s mother. Sasaki was still drunk when he said this but how much of that is an excuse, I don’t know. Kuroshio made the argument even more confusing by saying his and Kazusada’s father is a 56 year old man named Jiro Higuchi.

Yay, Shuji Ishikawa is back again!

Who’s idea was it to team up Danshoku Dieno & Maku Donaruto!?!

4. Summer Vacation Special Plan, I’m Excited About Summer Tokyo Joshi Festival 2019 “Chu! Natsu Party Death Match”: Yuka Sakazaki & Mizuki defeated Nodoka Tenma & Mina Shirakawa when Sakazaki pinned Shirakawa with the Magical Magical Girl Splash With Fireworks into the Pool (12:49).
5. Maki Itoh & Hikari Noa defeated Shoko Nakajima & Yuki Aino when Noa pinned Aino with the Uranage (12:55).
6. Miyu Yamashita defeated Miu Watanabe with the Attitude Adjustment (11:38).

Miyu Yamashita praised Miu Watanabe for getting stronger since the last time they fought each other. Watanabe took the words to heart and said in her mind today was not a defeat. She asked Yamashita to support her when they challenge for the Princess Tag Team Titles on 25th August.

The team of Maki Itoh & Hikari Noa struggled to get along at first. That is because Noa regularly teams with Itoh’s enemy Natsumi Maki. They seemed to gel as the match went on and eventually became the winners. But Itoh still flipped off Noa when she went to shake her hand.

The ring canvas was covered in blue sheets for the Natsu Party Death Match. Any summer related item was permitted to be used as a weapon including flotation rings, squirt guns, water balloons and watermelons. There was also a small kids pool filled with water placed inside the ring Mina Shirakawa introduced herself to the audience as “The Happy H Cup Who Will Give A Power Bomb To Your Heart.” Everyone threw water at each other and got soaked. Mizuki found fireworks and shot them at Nodoka Tenma while Yuka Sakazaki ran around with sparklers. Sakazaki sent Shirakawa into the pool then Double Stomped the watermelon on top of her. Sakazaki then hit the Magical Magical Girl Splash while fireworks shot up behind her to get the win. Shirakawa called the match her version of the G1, the Glamorous 1. Sakazaki said she wanted to use more fireworks but the venue became too damp.

Rika Tatsumi’s battle with Demonio Uno quickly ended in a Double Countout when the two fought their way out of the venue. They agreed to an immediate rematch but continued to brawl outside the ring. Back in the ring the referee got knocked down and Uno brought in a chair. Antonio Honda came to the rescue and gave Uno the Bionic Elbow. He then revived the referee while Tatsumi pinned her opponent with the Missile Hip Attack.

Honda was there to support Tatsumi because earlier in the show he was revealed to be Tatsumi & Sakazaki’s partner for the match against NEO Biishiki-gun on 1st Setpember! Honda told everyone that he previously knows the two girls from the time they were part of a music group together. He was the one who encouraged the two of them to take up pro wrestling!

Raku was the only member of the Up Up Girls not wrestling today so she held a solo concert called the Tsurumi Idol Festival during intermission.

DDT’s visit to the Tokyo Idol Festival began with the Up Up Girls (Pro Wrestling) performing on the SMILE GARDEN Stage. They wanted to continue singing but Danshoku Dieno came out and told them it was time to start the Battle Royal. The competitors made their entrances with the Idol Army being led by Sanshiro Takagi. They were also armed with toy hammers.

The match began and the ten minute time limit counted down. Makoto Oishi grabbed the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title and hit Yukio Sakaguchi over the head with it. Oishi pinned Sakaguchi and became the new champion.

He fled from the stage and made his way over to the seating area. The idols caught up with him and Rise Shiokawa from Transfer Girls* hit him with her hammer. She applied a Reverse Palo Special while Dieno performed the Danshoku Nightmare 3D into Oishi’s face. Oishi gave up and Shiokawa was the new champion.

Dieno quickly put Shiokawa in an Iron Claw and won the belt when she submitted.

Sakaguchi reappeared and gave Dieno a Penalty Kick. Sakaguchi was chased away but Dieno was left sitting on the ground. Aika Sawaguchi from dela came over and hit a Low Kick to Dieno’s back. That was enough to get the pin and win her the title.

Sawaguchi’s reign didn’t last long. Maki Itoh put her in a Sleeper Hold to become the new champion.

The Up Up Girls caught up with Itoh and the Idol Army followed. Takagi instructed Natsume Misaki from chuLa to give Itoh a Running Elbow smash. That did the trick and the belt moved over to Misaki.

Again an idol title reign only lasted a few seconds. Dieno came back and used another Iron Claw to regain the championship.

Dieno quickly lost the belt when Oishi tricked him into taking a selfie together. Oishi used his chance to pin Dieno with a School Boy.

Despite the betrayal Dieno and Oishi were still on good terms. They brought out a ladder and Dieno agreed to climb it and go into the Hell Gate position. Sakaguchi stopped Oishi from pushing Shiokawa into the Hell Gate. However the Idol Army knocked down Sakaguchi and joined together with the Up Up Girls to do one large Good Night Express. Even Yukio Naya got to be involved in it!

Some of the idols pushed Sakaguchi face first into the Hell Gate, this time with the back of Dieno’s tights pulled down. Oishi tried to do the same to Itoh but she stopped herself by catching her fingers in Dieno’s ass! She stuck her fingers under Oishi’s nose to dizzy him. Takagi told Momomi Wagatsuma from Hakoiri♡Musume to hit Oishi with an Axe Bomber. She then made Oishi tap out to a Crab Hold one second before the time expired! Wagatsuma was declared the winner of the Battle Royal and the new Iron Man Champion!

Everyone got together after the match to pose for a group photo.

That wasn’t the end of it though. An interview backstage with Takagi and the Idol Army was interrupted when Itoh attacked Wagatsuma! She put her in a Sleeper Hold and made her give up to win the belt.

Itoh’s celebration was short lived because Sakaguchi then came in and choked her out with his own Sleeper Hold. The day ended as it began, with Yukio Sakaguchi as the Iron Man Champion.

One more thing, Takagi encouraged the Idol Army to become pro wrestlers. He asked them if they’ve seen any wrestling shows before. Sawaguchi said she likes Dragon Gate. Never mind then!

2. Sakisama & Misao defeated Mizuki & YUMI when Sakisama submitted YUMI with the Versailles Foot Choke (11:12).
3. Miyu Yamashita & Reika Saiki defeated Marika Kobashi & Yuki Aino by TKO when Yamashita used the Modified Cobra Clutch on Kobashi (12:52).
4. Tokyo Princess Cup – Round 1: Rika Tatsumi defeated Himawari Unagi with the Missile Hips (7:52).
5. Tokyo Princess Cup – Round 1: Miu Watanabe defeated Nodoka Tenma with the Tear Drop (7:56).
6. Tokyo Princess Cup – Round 1: Natsumi Maki defeated Hikari Noa with a German Suplex (10:15).
7. Tokyo Princess Cup – Round 1: Shoko Nakajima defeated Yuki Kamifuku with the Northern Lights Suplex (12:05).

Yuki Kamifuku pulled in Daisuke Kiso to prevent Shoko Nakajima from hitting the Northern Lights Suplex. In the middle of this fracas, Nakajima went for a Dropkick but Kiso took the hit instead of Kamifuku. The absence of a referee gave Kamifuku a chance to win but Nakajima was able to recover. Kamifuku had some fight left when she kicked out of the Northern Lights but one more use of the move eliminated her from the Tokyo Princess Cup. Nakajima admitted this turned into a dangerous match and it is becoming more difficult to win the tournament. She wants to win the Princess Cup while holding the TOKYO Princess Title because it hasn’t been done before.

There were hugs and smiles from Pandemic Boo-Boo after their match so Hikari Noa has no hard feelings over losing to Natsumi Maki. Maki hopes that this will become a meaningful match for Noa.

We only had to wait until the second match for the big upset of the tournament. Miu Watanabe overcame the odds to beat Nodoka Tenma! She escaped from the Killswitch and struck Tenma with the Laser Beam Punch. Watanabe then used a spinning version of the Flapjack called the Tear Drop to get the win. Watanabe wanted to go all out today to make up for missing last year’s Princess Cup.

Well so much for that fan vote. Himawari Unagi was the first woman eliminated from the tournament after a loss to Rika Tatsumi. Unagi feels regret over the result not just for her but also her generation of Tokyo Joshi Pro wrestlers. She thinks this class of five women are the most in-sync amongst the roster so she was representing them just as much as herself. For Tatsumi the win was just what she needed for a confidence boost.

Marika Kobashi was given a harsh looking farewell from Tokyo Joshi when Miyu Yamashita defeated her with the Modified Cobra Clutch. But that was the kind of treatment Kobashi wanted for her final match as a high school student. She thanked Yamashita and Reika Saiki for everything they’ve done for her even though her neck was left feeling sore. When her school exams are done she will prepare her body and mind for her return to Tokyo Joshi.

NEO Bishiiki-gun tried to make Mizuki see their way of life during their tag match. When Misao had YUMI held in a rest hold, Sakisama cut off Mizuki by putting her in a ballroom dance pose like she used to do with Azusa Christie. Mizuki said she hated it and later refused Misao’s request to “build a new world together.” Sakisama said backstage that Mizuki would look good in black and white. She promised to take away the TOKYO Princess Tag Team Titles from Mizuki as well as her mind and her heart!

It was announced that the music video for “Upper Kick!” by the Up Up Girls (Pro Wrestling) is approaching 10,000 views on Youtube. The Up Up Girls are asking their fans to watch the video 30 times a day so it can surpass that number.

For Pinano Pipipipi’s graduation match, a special Battle Royal was put together. Wrestlers would exit from the match if they were thrown over the top rope out of the ring or if they got a win inside the ring. The purpose was not so much to find a definitive winner but to give Pinano one big chance to beat somebody before her wrestling career ends. Many of the women were upset to say goodbye to their friend but they wrestled on. Even Misao showed a sign of her former self by using the Hero Correction System on Pinano when Pinano pleaded her to do it. In the end Pinano wasn’t able to beat anybody. Hikari Noa was the last to pin her, telling Pinano she loved her before doing the Uranage.

For the graduation ceremony Pinano was handed flowers from all of the Tokyo Joshi Pro roster. The rest of the Up Up Girls (Pro Wrestling) joined her for one last performance of “Upper Kick”. Pinano said for a year and a half she’s been a part of this and she’s made so many wonderful friends. She will learn from this experience to make her next life enjoyable.
