Takao’s Tag Trouble, Hirata’s Gonna Fale, President Pervert

DDT “FUTURE HEAVEN! IN NAGOYA 2011”, 30/10/2011
Nagoya Club Diamond Hall

1. HERO! Last DDT Match: HARASHIMA & HERO! Vs X & X
2. KO-D Tag Team Title Contendership: Antonio Honda & Yasu Urano Vs Takao Soma & Akito
3. Special Singles Match: Hikaru Sato Vs Danshoku Dino

Takao Soma isn’t very happy that Keisuke Ishii won an important championship in DDT before he did. After Ishii and Shigehiro Irie became the new KO-D Tag Team Champions in Sapporo, Soma told interviewers backstage that “It sucks that Ishii won a belt before me.” He was also upset that Ishii was the person chosen to team with Irie for the title match instead of himself. That is understandable since Soma and Irie had been doing very well as the TKG48’s resident tag team in DDT. Soma will be doing something about it and has picked Akito to form a new tag team in the hopes of getting a title shot in the distant future. However, they will face a difficult challenge in the forms of Antonio Honda & Yasu Urano. Both men are former KO-D Tag Team Champions and have been recently teaming together.

Kenny Omega, Shigehiro Irie, Daisuke Sasaki, Mr. #6, Toru Sugiura & DJ Nira are all confirmed to be taking part at this show.

DDT “PRESIDENT PERVERT! ~ LAST BIG WRESTLING MATCH ON THE STREET”, 04/11/2011
Tokyo Asakusa Flower Mansion

1. 3 Way Tag: Sanshiro Takagi & Munenori Sawa Vs Brahman Shu & Brahman Kei Vs Danshoku Dino & Chou-un Shiryu

The President Pervert in the show’s title is none other than Michael Nakazawa. He will be the special guest announcer for the event.

Chou-un Shiryu is looking forward to tangling with Munenori Sawa one last time before Sawa retires. Shiryu believes the only way Sawa could beat him was if he resorted to using Kung Fu for the match. The Brahman Brothers are the wild cards here and will no doubt be carrying a container filled with creepy crawlies for their opponents to suffer through.

Yokkaichi Australia Memorial Hall

Kasumigaura Ryokuchi Park & Yokkaichi Land & Water Falls Count Anywhere Free Weapons Death Match: Abdullah Kobayashi, Sanshiro Takagi & Munenori Sawa Vs Ryuji Ito, Brahman Shu & Brahman Kei

After the sad announcement earlier this week from Munenori Sawa about his plan to retire a few days after BattlArts closes down in November, he and Sanshiro Takagi only have a few months left to continue their “Daishacho Hentai” tag team. They will take a trip over to Big Japan Wrestling to team up with Abdullah Kobayashi to fight Ryuji Ito and the Brahman Bros in a Falls Count Anywhere match that sounds just like something Takagi & Sawa did during their “Greatest Title Run Ever”©.

The Apartment Pro Wrestling show took place somewhere in Tokyo today. Unfortunately I haven’t found out who took part and what the match was. However it was taped for DVD, which will be released next month. The match took place in an apartment building that is scheduled to be demolished later this year, which probably explains how DDT was able to do this show. DDT did post a picture taken of the hallway after the show finished. As you can see below, the place was wrecked by the time DDT was done with it.

1. Toru Sugiura defeated Kazuki Hirata with a Northern Lights Suplex (9:56).
2. Shota defeated Rion Mizuki with a Frog Splash (7:34).
3. Ryuichi Sekine defeated Hiroya Fukuda with a Combine (7:11).
4. Hiro Tonai & Michio Kegeyama defeated Hiro Tsumaki & Akito when Tonai pinned Tsumaki with the Waterfall Drop (14:15).
5. Keisuke Ishii Vs Shigehiro Irie ended in a Time Limit Draw (20:00).

Since Michael Nakazawa Vs Masa Takanashi ended in a draw, DDT decided that both wrestlers will added to the KO-D Tag Team Title match at Sumo Hall, which is now going to be a 4 Way Tag Team match. Michael Nakazawa chose Kenny Omega to be his partner for the match so that they can reclaim the titles they briefly held last month. Masa Takanashi shocked everyone by inviting his tag partner down to the ring…Daisuke Sekimoto! The former KO-D Openweight Champion and ace of the Strong BJ style will return to DDT for the first time in the same building where he lost the KO-D Title. And wouldn’t you know it, Sekimoto will get to face the very person who beat him for that belt one year ago, HARASHIMA. This time around HARASHIMA is holding the gold and Sekimoto will gunning after him with Takanashi by his side.

Michael Nakazawa and Masa Takanashi are both aiming to challenge for the KO-D Tag Team Titles with their own choice in partners. The dark match on this show could help decide who gets added to the 3 Way Tag Team Title match at Sumo Hall.

Michio Kegeyama and Toru Sugiura both come into the show representing Daiwa Entertainment Pro-wrestling.

KUDO suffered a demoralising defeat to Shuji Ishikawa in the Tag Team main event of yesterday’s Union show. For the next Tag bout, both men are trading up from rookies to two of the most established wrestlers in both DDT and Union. The KO-D Champion brings along Big Morohasi to face KUDO and Kota Ibushi.

The Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title has been very active since its return two months ago. The belt has already changed hands 21 times and no one knows who will be the Champion going into the Battle Royal at Sumo Hall.
