This is the first of two shows taking place overnight in Shin-Kiba 1st RING. First show begins at 1:00 am and another show will go on afterwards at 3:30 am. So far the only match announced for the second show is a Bra & Panties Rumble filled with male wrestlers. After that show is finished, Tsurumi Amon will end the morning with his own little non-wrestling event.

Shuji Battles Mashimo In K-DOJO

Champion of STRONGEST-K Title: Kengo Mashimo (c) defeated Shuji Ishikawa with the Vertical Drop Brainbuster (24:04).
*V2 for Mashimo.

Union’s Shuji Ishikawa was in the main event of a special KAIENTAI DOJO charity event in Korakuen Hall during the week. Shuji fought Kengo Mashimo (aka Kengo Ohka in Union) for the Champion of STRONGEST-K Title and was one second away from winning the championship. But Kengo kicked out of Shuji’s Splash Mountain finisher to fight back and defeat the Union leader with a Brainbuster.

With that out of the way, Shuji now has BENTEN and either Isami Kodaka or El Generico to look forward to on Union’s 19th September doubleshot at Shinjuku FACE.

Campsite Pro Wrestling Postponed

Yesterday’s DDT Campsite show had to be postponed due to heavy rain from a typhoon that has reached Japan. The new date for the show is now 26th September.

Campsite Update, All Night DDT, Chiba Matches

I’m not 100% certain but due to a typhoon that is heading towards Japan this weekend, DDT may have to cancel tomorrow’s “CAMPING-GROUND PRO-WRESTLING OM” show. Obviously holding a wrestling show in an outdoor campsite during a typhoon is not the safest of ideas for both the wrestlers and the fans. But if the weather holds up the show will go ahead, possibly with certain areas of the campsite becoming off limits to wrestlers and fans.
