7. Kota Ibushi & Konosuke Takeshita defeated HARASHIMA & Hiro Tsumaki when Ibushi pinned Tsumaki with the Sit Down Last Ride (17:00).

Rookie Konosuke Takeshita was in a great mood after tasting success in his first ever main event match. He asked Tsurumi Amon if he could be booked for more DDT shows than he is currently scheduled for. Amon understood Takeshita’s request but wasn’t sure if the increased schedule would get in the way with his high school education. Takeshita promised he will do his best both in school and in wrestling.

Danshoku Dino’s lust for Yuji Hino took centre stage for Match #5. However, his passion drove him out of control and he eventually gave a paralyzing Lip Lock to everyone in the ring, including the referee. The match was declared a no contest. When Daisuke Sasaki regained consciousness he challenged Dino to a rematch for DDT’s next Osaka show on 12th January next year.

Gran Shiota & Gran Fukuda both claim to be Gran Hamada’s illegitimate sons.

Yasu Urano’s return from a shoulder injury saw him dropping a fall to Takao Soma.

Antonio Honda was again caught stealing his opponents’ clothing and trying to sell them online. It turns out Honda is doing this to raise funds for the Monster Army.

6. KO-D Openweight Title: El Generico (c) Vs MIKAMI

The two sides for the Castle Siege Death Match met each other on neutral grounds (the Dropkick Bar in Shinjuku) to determine the rules for their upcoming war in detail. The only problem was Sanshiro Takagi hadn’t thought up of the rules yet. Thinking on the spot, Takagi decided that both teams will have a castle made out of 20 chairs each set up inside Korakuen Hall. Tsurumi Amon wasn’t pleased with the idea because those 40 chairs might be needed for the audience. Takagi then came up with the idea of each castle having features like a keep, a gun turret and a moat. Amon said that would be impossible because DDT does not have the money to build such features (maybe they could cut a deal with the porn studio that built a house inside Korakuen for Big Japan back in 2003). He told the two sides that if they wanted siege weaponry, they would have to pay for it themselves. Takagi searched through his pockets for money and found 1,350 yen, a movie ticket stub, some receipts and a Chinese restaurant voucher. Everyone else pitched in and eventually both sides ended up with a war chest of 30,000 yen each to spend on their arsenal.

1. Daisuke Sasaki defeated Tetsuya Endo with the Crippler Crossface (8:27).
2. 3 Way Match: Masa Takanashi and Akito defeated Antonio Honda with an Oklahoma Roll & Jackknife Double Pin (7:26).
3. Hikaru Sato defeated Makoto Oishi with a Back Drop (10:29).

5. Sanshiro Takagi & Yoshihiro Takayama defeated HARASHIMA & Hiro Tsumaki when Takagi pinned Tsumaki with the Sit Down Himawari Bomb (10:09).
6. Kota Ibushi, MIKAMI & Shuji Ishikawa defeated Keisuke Ishii, Shigehiro Irie & Takao Soma when Ibushi pinned Soma with the Sit Down Last Ride (15:42).

Despite losing in the main event, Team Dream Futures are starting to find momentum, at least that is according to Kota Ibushi. He felt the match was Drift’s strongest performance to date. Shuji Ishikawa thought otherwise. Ibushi also mentioned he was feeling a lot of pain in his neck. MIKAMI said it was his first time in a long time wrestling in Odate. He is motivated for his KO-D Title match against El Generico and promised the next time DDT is in Odate, he will be the champion. Keisuke Ishii said he learned Ishikawa’s weakness in the match and he will exploit it in their upcoming DDT Extreme Title bout. Takao Soma meanwhile brought up the Castle Siege Death Match on 25/11 and admitted he still doesn’t understand the rules of the match.

The team of Sanshiro Takagi & Yoshihiro Takayama were given the name Team Yoyogi-Uehara for their match against ShimaHiro. After their victory, Takagi boasted about how reckless he and Takayama are. He then encouraged everyone to go eat delicious food at Takayama’s restaurant.

Danshoku Dino really wanted a piece of Kaz Hayashi. Even his tag partner for the night Makoto wanted to see them together in the ring since she is a yaoi fangirl and she thought the two looked good together. Kaz wanted no part of Dino and Yuu Yamagata just wanted to fight Makoto so they tried to keep her in the ring for as much as possible. Makoto was finally able to make the hot tag and Dino cleaned house. Dino gave Hayashi the Lip Lock which was so good it made Hayashi say “Nice kiss.” Dino and Hayashi then both turned on their partners and then Kaz gave Yukinori Matsui a Lip Lock of his own causing the match to be called a No Contest. Dino and Hayashi then tried to pull down Tetsuya Endo’s shorts and chased after him into the locker room.

The beginning of the show was interrupted by Akito coming down to the ring to complain that his wristbands were missing. Masa Takanashi then entered the ring complaining that his wrestling gear went missing too. He came to the conclusion that somebody in the locker room stole their gear. When it was time for their 3 Way Match to begin, it was revealed that Antonio Honda stole their gear and was going to sell them on Yahoo Auctions. Masa and Akito decided to side together and get their clothing back from Honda, essentially turning the 3 Way match into a Handicap match.

Kota’s Contract Conflict

November 6, 2012

Kota Ibushi got himself into an awkward situation today when he unintentionally crashed a press conference held by New Japan to promote their upcoming PPV on 11/11. The conference included a contract signing for the IWGP Jr. Title Match between champion Low Ki and challenger Prince Devitt. However, Ibushi entered the room before either wrestler and sat down at the table. When Devitt, Low Ki and New Japan president Naoki Sugabayashi entered they were surprised to see Ibushi greeting them. Ibushi explained he was here to sign the contract for his rematch with Low Ki. Sugabayashi tried to explain that the contract wasn’t for him. Ibushi sighed with disappointment but cheered up when Sugabayashi said that when this match is over, Ibushi will be able to compete for the next title shot. Ibushi tried to seal the president’s promise with a pinkie shake but Sugabayashi redirected the offer of gratitude to his interpreter Mr. Nishizawa. Ibushi then left the room and was escorted out of the building.

The show began with a musical performance featuring Matsuno and singer Junko Tashiro but Takagi and his interrupted the song by attacking Matsuno. Takagi was about to give Matsuno the Spiccoli Driver when HARASHIMA, MIKAMI and Poison Sawada JULIE all came to the rescue. JULIE wished Matsuno good luck in the main event and stuck around to protect him from any more foul play. Matsuno got his revenge in the main event when he pinned Takanashi with the Swanton Bomb right after HARASHIMA ran over Masa with the Somato. After the match, JULIE used his snake magic to heal Matsuno and give him the energy to end the show with another song.
