Ryu Gouma’s opponent will be Choun-Shiryu. The two have been feuding the last couple of months over the case of SAGAT turning into a Chinese Vampire. Since that problem is now out of the way, Gouma now has another reason to fight Shiryu. Gouma doubts his opponent is really Chinese and he will use this match as an opportunity to discover what Shiryu’s nationality really is.

2. G3 Climax: Tomohiro Otani (2) defeated Gorikiko (0) with a Back Flip (1:16).
3. G3 Climax: Shota (2) defeated Tomohiro Otani (2) with a Headlock (3:16).
4. G3 Climax: Shota (4) defeated Gorikiko (0) with a Figure Four Leg Lock (3:35)
5. G3 Climax: Yumehito Imanari (4) defeated Tomohiro Otani (2) with a Sliding Clothesline (2:50).
6. G3 Climax: Shota (6) defeated Yumehito Imanari (4) with a Sharpshooter (7:00).
*Shota wins the G3 Climax.
7. Osamu Namiguchi & Bad Tension TAMAGAWA defeated Ken Ohka & Shota when TAMAGAWA pinned Shota with the BT Bomber (11:52).

Today’s Ganbare☆Pro show revolved around the G3 Climax, a one day round robin tournament. It was originally supposed to be a 3 person competition between Tomohiro Otani, Shota and Gorikiko. Instead it became a 4 person tournament with Yumehito Imanari filling the extra spot. Shota won all three of his matches and was crowned the G3 Climax winner.

The celebration ceremony with him and Ken Ohka was interrupted by Osamu Namiguchi and the newly renamed Bad Tension TAMAGAWA, who challenged them to an impromptu tag match. TAMAGAWA’s new mean streak proved too much for a tired Shota and the invaders scored another victory over Ganpuro. TAMAGAWA talked down the G3 Climax tournament and told the Ganbare wrestlers they are all losers. If they wanted to be winners, they should join him and Namiguchi. When they left Ohka gave his motivation speech and brought out Shota’s prize for winning the G3, a Tokyo Sports Award trophy Ohka received back in 2006.
