Union MAX Next Challenger Decision League

The next few months in BASARA will be spent searching for the person who will challenge for the Union MAX Title at Korakeun Hall on 24th October. A fan vote was held with the majority of the roster taking part (champions and their upcoming challengers were excluded) and the top five qualified for a round robin league. The five contestants are:

1. Ryota Nakatsu (24 Votes)
2. Isami Kodaka (21 Votes)
3. FUMA (17 Votes)
4. Takato Nakano (10 Votes)
5. Masato Kamino (8 Votes)

There is only one group and at the end of the league stage the top two wrestlers will face off in the final. 2 points for a win, 1 point for a draw and 0 points for losing. Every match has a 30 minute time limit.

Yuya Koroku has been pulled from tomorrow’s show because he is in poor physical condition. His opponent Toru Owashi will now be in the 3 Way Match. Chris Brookes is taken out of the 3 Way and will instead face Tomomitsu Matsunaga in a first time match up.

The annual BASARA Vs Dove Pro summer feud will be a lot more cooperative this year. The BASARA show will have a lot of matches featuring BASARA and Dove wrestlers teaming together. The Dove show will be in Osaka at the end of the month but no matches have been announced yet.

Gouma will be taking part in a rap battle at the start of the show. His opponent to to be determined.

For the first time ever HARASHIMA and Chihiro Hashimoto will team together. This might even be the first time they’re in the same match. The previous Sendai Girls interactions with DDT never involved HARASHIMA from what I remember.

The second DDT Teenage Project match has El Unicorn and Ilusion face each other one on one.

Saki Akai and Yuna Manase get a piece of each other on the road to their September singles match.
