TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TJPW CITY CIRCUIT ’23 ~ARISU ENDO LOCAL TRIUMPH~”, 20/10/2023
Fukushima Aizuwakamatsu City Culture Center
429 Fans – Super No Vacancy Full House
1. Yuki Aino defeated Toga with the Full Nelson Of Love And Fire (6:35).
2. Raku defeated Haru Kazashiro with the Doctor Yellow (6:37).
3. Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao defeated Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara when Nakajima pinned Uehara with the Northern Lights Suplex (9:09).
4. Regina defeated Kaya Toribami with the Finnish (5:19).
5. Hikari Noa & Nao Kakuta defeated Mizuki & Shino Suzuki when Noa pinned Suzuki with the Running Neckbreaker Drop (10:49).
6. Max The Impaler & Pom Harajuku defeated Maki Itoh & HIMAWARI when Max pinned HIMAWARI with the Short-Range Lariat (11:15).
7. Suzume, Moka Miyamoto & Arisu Endo defeated Rika Tatsumi, Miu Watanabe & Mahiro Kiryu when Endo submitted Kiryu with the Camel Clutch (14:31).
For the second year in a row Arisu Endo’s hometown of Aizuwakamatsu City hosted a Tokyo Joshi Pro show. This time around she won in the main event! In a match where she teamed with Suzume & Moka Miyamoto, the three of them fought off the more experienced group of Rika Tatsumi, Miu Watanabe & Mahiro Kiryu. During the match Endo used the Bandai-san Missile Dropkick for the first time since August when a blown attempt at the move injured her. She capped her strong performance off by submitted Kiryu with the Camel Clutch.
After the match Endo told the fans she remembers last year when she promised to return as a bigger star. She showed everyone her growth in that match and now has a new goal in mind. She wants to wrestle in her hometown as a champion because Aizuwakamatsu City is her treasure trove that makes her stronger. Suzume said she is happy to be in a place where so many people who love Endo have gathered together. Miyamoto agreed, saying she was happy to team with Endo in such a warm environment.
Regina’s finishing move is called the Finnish. Heh heh. The move is a Double Arm Piledriver. She also had the FCF Finnish Heavyweight Title belt with her.

Local mascot Kappa Green accompanied Kyoraku Kyomei for their match wearing its own Arisu Endo inspired outfit. Kappa tried to help Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao fight in a 3-On-2 situation but the Double Clothesline backfired and the mascot was sent back out of the ring.

BASARA announced today that Daiki Shimomura has been suspended from their activities for one year due to inappropriate behavior in regards to his private life. Alongside this, Shimomura is also taking a year long hiatus from pro wrestling in general. The company will not disclose what happened to cause this in order to protect people who have been hurt by the situation. Shimomura was supposed to face FUMA in the main event of next week’s BASARA show but that will obviously be changed. The changed card will be announced as soon as it is decided on.

2. IRON FIST TAG TOURNAMENT – Final: X & X Vs X & X
Shimomura is also in the middle of the IRON FIST TAG TOURNAMENT with Minoru Fujita as the current IRON FIST Tag Team Champions. The two of them have already reached the semi-final stage and were waiting to face the winners of next week’s Takumi Tsukamoto & SAGAT Vs Lil’ Kraken & Leo Isaka match. BASARA has decided to pull Shimomura from the tournament and will instead give the winners of that match a bye straight into the final. I guess the titles will be vacated and then rewarded to the tournament winners too.

In her first match back she gets to team with Mizuki for the first time in half a year. Hyper Misao & Pom Harajuku have been chosen as the opponents for The Magical Sugar Rabbits. When that is done with, Tokyo Joshi Pro will also announce Sakazaki’s future schedule with them next week. She is supposed to graduate from TJPW in December but it’s been suggested that may be slightly delayed in order to have Sakazaki make up for all the shows she missed with her absence.
Eight women will be entering the Battle Royal to win a shot at the International Princess Title. Among the competitors is the previous champion Rika Tatsumi along with other former champions Miu Watanabe and Yuki Kamifuku.

A video meeting was held between Kazuki Hirata and Takeshi Masada to agree on the match stipulation for their double title match. Masada was unable to be there in person because he also had a college class to attend that day. Hirata announced the match stipulation is called “Let’s Enjoy! Everyone Will Have A Great Time Death Match”. Hisaya Imabayashi tried to make Hirata explain what the rules are but Hirata would only give non-commital answers about wanting to see Masada have fun. The reason he came up with the idea is because he found out Masada has no friends in college. Masada said that does not matter because he does not need friends. But when Imabayashi asked him more questions about his loneliness Masada quickly admitted if he had friends he would like to go party and play basketball with them. Imabayashi was so upset to learn this that he encouraged Hirata to help Masada regain his smile. Hirata promised the match will make Masada learn how to enjoy having fun, expand his horizons and leave him with happy memories.

She makes one more appearance next month to fight in their ring one last time. She reunites with Takumi Iroha for the special match against the home team of YuuRI & Yoshiko Hasegawa.
How will Riara’s cabaret skills work against Ram Kaichow? Ram has probably been in the room for more seedy stuff throughout her entire wrestling career than Riara did as a hostess!

7. Max The Impaler, Yuki Aino & Pom Harajuku defeated Shoko Nakajima, Mizuki & Kaya Toribami when Max pinned Toribami with the Lariat (13:00).
Max The Impaler is looking for their first challenger for the International Princess Title. Maybe it might be Yuki Aino or Pom Harajuku who both sported little bits of warpaint across their cheeks while they teamed with Max today. It was announced at the start of the show that a Battle Royal will take place at Korakuen Hall on 27th October to determine the No. 1 Contender for IP Title. The winner will face Max for the title in Osaka on 19th November.
In a preview of the Princess Tag Team Titles match on 27th October, Free WiFi defeated Moka Miyamoto but Moka was without Juria Nagano today. She was teaming with Haru Kazashiro instead and it was the rookie who took the fall. Miyamoto believes that she can definitely beat Free WiFi with Nagano by her side.
The 2023 Class of Tokyo Joshi Pro will be put into a rookies tournament this November. The Next Generation Tournament ’23 will begin on 3rd November with two opening round matches, move onto the semi-finals on the 19th and then hold the final on 1st December. The six wrestlers who all debuted in TJPW this year will be taking part. That’s HIMAWARI, Wakana Uehara, Shino Suzuki, Toga, Haru Kazashiro and Runa Okubo for those not keeping track.

1. Yusuke Okada defeated Danshoku Dieno with an Inside Cradle (4:38).
2. Daisuke Sasaki & KANON defeated Yukio Naya & Yuya Koroku when KANON pinned Koroku with the Vietnam Driver II (9:39).
3. Special Tag Match: Kouki Iwasaki & MAO defeated HARASHIMA & Rukiya when Iwasaki submitted Rukiya with the Texas Clover Hold (16:31).
4. Sapporo Specialty Special 6-Man Tag Match: Tetsuya Endo, Jun Akiyama & Noriyuki Yoshida defeated Kazuki Hirata, Tomoya & Kazuma Sumi when Yoshida pinned Sumi with the Authorized Lightning Leg Lariat (10:53).
5. KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles: Yukio Sakaguchi, Saki Akai & Hideki Okatani (c) defeated Sanshiro Takagi, Akito & Makoto Oishi when Sakaguchi pinned Oishi with the God’s Right Knee (17:35).
*V5 for Eruption.
6. Special Tag Match: Chris Brookes & Takeshi Masada defeated Kazusada Higuchi & Toy Kojima when Brookes pinned Kojima with the Praying Mantis Bomb (21:56).
-. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title: MAO defeated Takeshi Masada (c) with a School Boy (3:17 pm).
*MAO becomes the 1,581st champion.
-. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title: Takeshi Masada defeated MAO (c) with a School Boy (3:43 pm).
*Takeshi Masada becomes the 1,582nd champion.
Everybody was given a reminder to how hard headed Kazusada Higuchi is. During an out of the ring brawl Chris Brookes & Takeshi Masada both lifted up a table and charged it towards Higuchi. The end result was Higuchi’s head bursting through the center of the table and leaving a hole in it while he was unharmed! Toy Kojima did a call out to Yuki Ueno by using a BME set up for a Diving Cross Body Block on Brookes. Kojima was later given the Praying Mantis Bomb twice. Higuchi broke the pin the first time but wasn’t able to save him the second.
In the final moments of the show Brookes briefly turned on Masada after his speech in order to try and win the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title. Masada escaped but was rolled up by MAO outside the ring to lose the title anyway. Then during the post-show festivities Masada disguised himself as a fan to get close to MAO and attack him back to regain the belt.
Just like yesterday Sanshiro Takagi had a “Sapporo Castle” built out of stairs positioned near ringside to protect against Eruption. This time however there were three of them around the venue. Hideki Okatani immediately kicked one of them down during his team’s entrance. Yukio Sakaguchi was thrown into the second one and the final one was destroyed when a bunch of the wrestlers tackled each other into it. Makoto Oishi targeted Sakaguchi’s knees again knowing how much they were injured from yesterday’s match. The rest of Eruption made the save and focused their attack on Oishi in return. Saki Akai gave him the Quetzalcoatl, Okatani followed up with the Double Arm Suplex and Sakaguchi used his remaining strength to pin him with the God’s Right Knee.
The win for Eruption means another successful KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles defence and perhaps the last one in their reign. Akai thanked Takagi, Akito & Oishi for being the core of DDT. Takagi handed one of the chairs over to Akai as a gift, calling it a symbol of DDT. Akai took it and said that no matter how long you’re a part of pro wrestling you never fully understand it. Backstage Sakaguchi said this was the last time Eruption will defend the KO-D 6-Man Tag Titles and they will hold onto the belts until Akai’s retirement on 12th November. Okatani said they will do the same with the AJPW TV 6-Man Tag Team Titles if they retain them in All Japan next week. Akito asked Takagi & Oishi to team up again in ten years time so they can build an even bigger castle of chairs. Oishi said they will need to add a taller member to achieve that. Takagi suggested they get either Yukio Naya or Giant Silva.
Both MAO and Kouki Iwasaki are considering a DNA reunion show next year to celebrate the project’s 10th anniversary. DNA was launched on 28th November 2014 and a lot of the wrestlers associated with the brand are still active and in touch with each other. The two of them also praised Rukiya for showing great fighting spirit lately.
The new chapter in Danshoku Dieno’s career is a worrying one for him so far. Yesterday Akito overpowered his usual Danshoku antics and put out a theory that everybody in DDT has developed an immunity to Dieno’s style of wrestling. It was put to the test today when Dieno fought Yusuke Okada, a regular opponent/victim of his. The theory proved to be correct when Okada kicked out of the Gaydo Clutch and then countered the Lip Lock into a Small Package for a clean win. Akito annoyed Dieno about it afterwards and suggested that perhaps Dieno’s kisses have lost their charm. Pheromones is finished and Yuki Iino is away moving onto his next step. Perhaps it is time for Dieno to move on from Danshoku style too…
DDT announced their return to Sapporo will be on 28th and 29th April next year at the Sapporo Sun Plaza.

Today was supposed to be the first preliminary tag match between Chris Brookes and Yuki Ueno but Ueno had a flu and missed the show. This mean Brookes did not get the full hot sauna experience from The 37KAMIINA but he tried to make up for it by going to a public bath earlier in the day. He said he felt good after having his first match in almost three weeks. In fact he’s more worried about Kazuki Hirata’s chances over defending the DDT Extreme Title against Takeshi Masada soon. MAO appreciated Yukio Naya coming in to take Ueno’s place on short notice. He also admits he is torn over who to support between Brookes and Ueno.
A lot of new people have shown up in DDT since Kouki Iwasaki was last here. But not matter what changes here, as long as Kazusada Higuchi is in DDT Iwasaki will always come back to fight him again. Higuchi was happy to see him too. He was in a match with Kota Umeda not that long ago and will be reunited with Ryota Nakatsu again soon. Higuchi will always appreciate his DNA classmates but wants everyone to remember he was always DNA’s number one. Masada was excited over his team winning because he gets to keep the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title. However Higuchi warned him they will be enemies tomorrow.
Sanshiro Takagi got his team to build a “Sapporo Castle” out of chairs at ringside. Kazuma Sumi was tasked with guarding the castle but Eruption threw him into it causing the chairs to collapse. Eruption were able to win the match but Yukio Sakaguchi came out of it favouring his knees because Makoto Oishi targeted them. He tried not to make a big deal out of it, saying he will kill Takagi tomorrow even on just one leg! Takagi said is Sakaguchi does kill him he will report him to the police right away. The KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles match will go ahead tomorrow and Takagi promises his team will win it fair and square.
Danshoku Dieno used different tactics against Akito in their first singles match against each other since the end of Pheromones. Dieno’s entrance music was replaced with “Ride Of The Valkyries” and he entered the ring behind Akito’s back to ambush him Yoshiaki Fujiwara style. Dieno also brought out Yoshihiko to attack Akito with. However when he gave Akito the Lip Lock, Akito overpowered Dieno and pinned him on his back for the victory. Akito explained afterwards that because of all the Pheromones that was spread over DDT, everybody has gradually developed an immunity to Danshoku style! He said even Yuki Iino has a more powerful Danshoku style than Dieno has now. He warned Dieno that his opponent tomorrow Yusuke Okada will show the same immunity against him. Dieno stuck up his middle finger to Akito and walked out the ring.
