2. Ladybeard & Kaori Yoneyama defeated Cherry & Mio Shirai when Ladybeard pinned Shirai with the Nut Cracker (7:08).

4. World Men’s Club Cup – FIFA Rules: Hiroshi Fukuda defeated Choun-Shiryu with a Gedo Clutch (7:17).
5. Shuji Ishikawa defeated Shibata with the Running Kneelift (7:07).
6. Hikaru Sato defeated Daichi Kazato by Referee Stoppage after Kazato suffered a foot injury (6:36).
7. Isami Kodaka defeated FUMA with the Zan Isamu Leg (17:18).

Hikaru Sato sent a message to Shuji Ishikawa by intentionally injuring Daichi Kazato. Sato targeted Kazato’s left knee and had a bitter smile on his face while applying a Necklock. Kazato couldn’t continue and the ref stopped the match. Sato was still smiling as Kazato was helped out of the ring while holding his knee in agony.

Hiroshi Fukuda Vs Choun-Shiryu for the World Men’s Club Cup took place under the same rule set used by FIFA for their World Cup games. Handballs were illegal which meant both Fukuda and Shiryu were forced to wrestle with their hands tied behind their backs. Fukuda was able to pin Shiryu with the Gedo Clutch after some shenanigans involving the referee constantly fainting. After the match Fukuda swapped his baggy pants with Shiryu’s New Beijing T-shirt in accordance with the Fair Play rules but Shiryu kicked him and laid him out with the Gory Special Bomb.

Ladybeard pinned Mio Shirai, giving him momentum for their upcoming Fly To Everywhere Title Match on 31st August. Ladybeard was feeling positive about his performance and hopes he and Mio will both do their best. His way of wrestling is strong and he does not have the weaknesses Cherry has.

FUMA, Daichi Kazato, SAGAT, Mitomi Masayuki and Tomoya Kawamura will all compete at the DDT “RYOGOKU PETER PAN 2014” show on 17th August.

The journey to Hikaru Sato Vs Shuji Ishikawa is going to be long but there will be plenty of interactions between the two along the way. The two were on opposite sides of a tag team main event at today’s Union show. Sato was joined by Shibata, a Pancrase fighter who has been featured a lot in Ganbare☆Wrestling recently. Shibata wrestled the match while having a GoPro camera strapped to his chest. While Ishikawa did what he could he wound up on the losing team when his partner Daichi Kazato tapped out to Sato’s Ankle Hold.

Hiroshi Fukuda said it was the pinnacle of honour for him to be in Heijitsu Mask’s retirement match. The retirement ceremony revealed that Heijitsu Mask was born on Sunday 7th July, 1903. At the age of 15 he had his debut match in Kathmandu, Nepal and was undefeated for 401 matches.

After winning a match as a team, Mio Shirai challenged Ladybeard to a Fly To Everywhere Title match for 31st August. Ladybeard said he does not have the face of a girl but he is the strongest women’s wrestler in Japan. Mio said she will make Ladybeard’s fans cry.

*Cherry fails in V4. Ladybeard becomes the 3rd Fly To Everywhere Champion!
7. Union MAX Title: Hikaru Sato (c) defeated Hiroshi Fukuda with a Shoulder Lock (23:45).
*V1 for Hikaru Sato.

It was Pancrase Vs “USA!” in the main event of today’s Union show. Hikaru Sato put his Union Max Championship on the line against the patriotic American Hiroshi Fukuda. While on paper the match looked one-sided, Fukuda turned out to be no pushover for the champion. Sato brought out the strikes and submissions but ignored the ref’s call to stop attacking Fukuda in the corner. Seiya Morohashi yelled at Sato to back off and the two kept glancing at each other until Fukuda started fighting back. Fukuda’s American style offence was effective going into the late stages of the match and the champ was in trouble when he was put in the Sharpshooter. Sato turned the tables when he countered a Discus Punch into a Shoulder Lock. Sato locked in the move tightly to the point where the referee stepped in and stopped the match in his favour.

Sato looked out among the Union wrestlers to search for his next challenger. He told them that they cannot just eat meat to become great, they have to eat ther vegetables aswell. Shuji Ishikawa approached Sato and challenged him to a title match. He promised to beat Sato and bring the MAX Title back to Union.

Ladybeard is the new Fly To Everywhere Champion after he defeated Cherry in the semi-main event. Cherry was prepared to embarress the challenger by bringing in an elctric shaver. She low blowed Ladybeard and then tried to shave him by force! Ladybeard had to bite Cherry’s arm in order to escape. Cherry did what she could but could not avoid the Nutcracker finisher. Ladybeard screamed with joy when he won the title and went on to call himself a really cute champion. In a backstage interview Ladybeard said he wants Mio Shirai to be his first challenger.

Ryu Gouma spoke about gambling on the World Cup at the beginning of the show. He rambled on about the typical penalties for illegally gambling and also some loopholes to get away with it. His moral of the story is it’s ok to gamble a little bit if you bet with something like a meal. Later in the show he took part in the Idea Pocket sponsored match against Madoka. Gouma had with him ¥30,000 and tried over and over to bribe Madoka to take a dive. Madoka wanted to take it but the referee kept stopping them. The referee eventually Super Kicked Gouma for his attempted bribary and Madoka then pinned him with a Small Package. After the match Idea Pocket announced that Tsubasa Amami has graduated from Union and this was her final show.

Some challenges were thrown out throughout the show. Daichi Kazato challenged Goro Jr. to a match after the 6-Man Tag. FUMA asked Mitomi Masayuki for another match sometime after he beat him in the opener.

7. Union MAX Title: Hikaru Sato defeated Isami Kodaka (c) with a Heel Hold (20:14).
*Isami Kodaka fails in V1. Hikaru Sato becomes the 3rd Union MAX Champion!

Hikaru Sato came to Union for a rest and wound up becoming its champion. Sato defeated Isami Kodaka in the main event to become the new Union MAX Champion. Kodaka did not use weapons in the match, preferring to fight Sato at his own game. The plan didn’t work and Sato tapped him out with a Heel Hold. Sato mocked Kodaka after the match and faked an apology for beating him in a fun match. Sato then insulted Union for their quality of wrestling and for being a low hurdle for him to pass. Sato said he will stay to defend his title but on the condition that he gets strong challengers who will not run away from him. Sato was then interrupted by chants of “USA!” as Hiroshi Fukuda entered the ring. Fukuda said the chants were like heavy thunder and he will not forgive Sato for embarrassing the company he debuted and grew up in. Sato ignored the challenge but Naomi Susan stepped in. She told Fukuda that he left Union Sekigun to join World Men’s Club but Fukuda replied the U in USA stands for Union. Susan asked if that means Fukuda will fight for Union and he said yes.

Shuji Ishikawa defeated Ken Ohka in what was a major battle in the Union Vs Ganbare☆Wrestling feud. Many roses were destroyed as the two fought in the ring but Ishikawa was the only one left standing at the end. Ishikawa praised Ohka’s growth after the match and suggested Ohka’s hatred of Union should now be out of his system. He’s like to see Ohka return to Union but when he appeared on a Ganpuro show last month he saw how hard Ohka worked to run the show. Ishikawa hopes this won’t be the last time both companies will fight each other and that there will be more competition between the two in the future.

Ladybeard was so happy when he & Saki Akai beat Danshoku Dino & Cherry. So happy that he believes it’s now time for him to become the Women’s Champion of Union. He challenged Cherry to a Fly To Everywhere Title match for next month. Cherry answered in English and accepted Ladybeard’s challenge. In a backstage interview Akai said she and Ladybeard form a cute tag team but she wasn’t happy having her faced shoved into Dino’s backside during the match.

The rules of the Aipoke World Title match was to make your opponent to say the words “Say Yes!” in order to win. Ryu Gouma and Super Sasadango Machine had a comedy match that involved the Idea Pocket reps dressed as Super Mario and Princess Peach. Gouma was about to win the match when another Idea Pocket Diva Tsubasa Amami appeared playing a guitar. Gouma and Sasadango sang along to the melody and Gouma was tricked into singing “Say Yes!” Sasadango won the title and also won a date for his troubles.

*HIROKI & Yasu Urano fail in V3. World Men’s Club become the 17th UWA World Tag Team Champions!
7. Hikaru Sato defeated FUMA with the V1 Armlock (18:54).

FUMA put up a good fight in the main event but fell to Hikaru Sato’s strong submission game. Sato taunted Union afterwards saying the company really is a resting place for a “premium toy” like himself. Isami Kodaka confronted him but not until after he shook hands with FUMA and gave him some words of encouragement, saying he saw power in FUMA. He then called out both Sato and Ganbare☆Wrestling for their recent treatment of Union. He cannot lose to them and let down the rest of the roster.

The UWA World Tag Team Titles changed hands with Hiroshi Fukuda & MEN’s Teioh winning the belts from HIROKI & Yasu Urano. Teioh took offence from Urano when he questioned his condition and said he was passed his peak. Teioh, who was recently hospitalised proved Urano wrong by submitting him with the Spinning Toe Hold. Both Fukuda and Teioh celebrated by doing the World Men’s Club pose with their new championships while the fans chanted “USA!”

The Union Vs Ganpuro war continued with both sides getting one win each on tonight’s show. Shuji Ishikawa defeated Yumehito Imanari with little effort, knocking him out with a Knee Strike. Ken Ohka then defeated Cherry in a bout that felt like a grudge match. However Ohka told Cherry after the match that they are alike. Ohka fights hard to make Ganbare☆Wrestling a major company while Cherry fights hard to prove a woman her age can make it as a wrestler. Ohka then challenged Ishikawa to make their final battle on 18th May a death match!

4. Hikaru Sato defeated Tomoya Kawamura with a Crab Hold (7:21).
5. Shuji Ishikawa defeated Richard Burn with a Swinging Sleeper (5:29).
6. Hardcore Match: Isami Kodaka, FUMA & SAGAT defeated Ivan Markov, Freddy Martello & Hiroshi Fukuda (w/ MEN’S Teioh) when Kodaka pinned Martello with the Zan Isamu Leg (15:44).

Union won the latest battle against World MEN’s Club, a 6-Man Tag that was fought under Hardcore rules by request of the Club. The Union team were ambushed as they made their entrance and the two sides utilised plenty of chairs to hurt each other. Isami Kodaka withstood Freddy Martello’s attacks and put him away with a Vertical Drop Brainbuster onto a fold out chair followed by the Zan Isamu Leg. After the match Kodaka told Ivan Markov that the match was hotter than the Winter Olympics going on in Sochi right now and that he wants a Union MAX Title shot next month!

Richard Burn returned to show off his fighting ability yet again, this time against the big man of Union, Shuji Ishikawa. Burn was accompanied by a man wearing glasses who acted as his cornerman, yelling instructions and motivating him with martial art stances. Ishikawa proved too strong to handle and applied a deep Sleeper Hold, going as far as to lift Burn off his feet and swing him in a circle until he submitted. Burn thanked Ishikawa for a good fight and asked for another match sometime. Ishikawa accepted.

That wasn’t the last appearance of Burn and his companion. They both reappeared at the end of the show wearing bikini tops and mini skirts with their hair in pigtails. Burn took the mic and said his real name was Ladybeard and he loves to wear women’s clothing! He appealed to join Union. Ishikawa said he could and everybody welcomed him. They are not creeped out by Burn’s sudden change because according to Kodaka, “Nothing is scary to us anymore.”

Hikaru Sato has jumped ship to Union, at least for the time being. Sato was the mysterious opponent for the rookie Tomoya Kawamura and the result was no surprise. In the post-match interview Sato explained that Union is a nice resting place for him to have a break after a good journey. He denied coming over to Union for the Aipoke World Title.

The Aipoke World Title was on the line in a Best 2 out of 3 Quiz match. Every time a wrestler pinned his opponent for one second or forced him to use a rope break, one of the Idea Pocket Divas would ask him a quiz question. First wrestler to answer two questions correctly wins the match. Seiya Morohashi easily pinned Ryu Gouma several times but was so excited he kept on giving wrong answers immediately instead of taking the time to think. Eventually Gouma was able to pin Morohashi twice and answer both questions correctly to became the new Aipoke Champion! Super Sasadango Machine appeared after the match to challenge Gouma to a title match at Korakuen Hall in May. They shook hands but Sasadango then gave Gouma the Verdict.

Union’s other war right now is with the invading Ganbare☆Wrestling led by Ken Ohka. Daichi Kazato & Mitomi Masayuki were ready to fight the Ganpuro team of Ohka & Yumehito Imanari but did not expect former Union wrestler Shinichiro Tominaga to show up with them. The match quickly turned into a brawl and had to be called off as the four wrestlers were fighting all over the arena. When things settled down, Ohka introduced the Union team to Tominaga and asked for the match to restart with Tominaga taking Imanari’s place. Everyone agreed and the bell rang. Tominaga bloodied Kazato’s mouth with punches and wiped out Masayuki with a Moonsault, leaving Ohka to put away Kazato with the Spear. Tominaga screamed out how happy he was quitting Union and how Ganpuro revived him. The trio later picked a fight with Seiya Morohashi until Naomi Susan stepped in and demanded them to leave.

Cherry and Mio Shirai weren’t able to work well as a team for Shirai’s first match as a full time Union wrestler. They were still able to win but Shirai thought she had to do it by herself. She challenged Cherry to a Fly To Everywhere Title match and declared she will change the world of women’s wrestling. Naomi Susan booked the match for Yokohama on 23rd March. Mio told Cherry to protect the belt tightly.

7. KO-D Openweight Title: HARASHIMA (c) defeated Shigehiro Irie with the Somato (21:42).
*V5 for HARASHIMA.
Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title: Yasu Urano defeated Masa Takanashi (c) with a School Boy (2:58 pm).
*Yasu Urano becomes the 989th champion.

If he hasn’t proven it already, HARASHIMA is a dominant champion. Shigehiro Irie in my mind had the best shot at becoming the man to win the KO-D Openweight Title from HARASHIMA and he was struck down by the champ today. HARASHIMA called Irie a very strong fighter and told him to challenge again and again. HARASHIMA was asked who he wanted to defend the belt against next. Masa Takanashi came out but Amon Tsurumi flat out told him no. He won’t give him the match because his win-loss record lately is bad. Takanashi said he should get the match because he is the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion. Yasu Urano then snuck behind Takanashi and pinned him with a School Boy to become the new Iron Man Champion. Takanashi then begged for a match with Urano so he can win back that title. Tsurumi booked it for the 2nd February Nagoya show. Tsurumi then apologised to HARASHIMA for not finding a No. 1 Contender.

Yankii Ni Cho Kenji’s goal of achieving 100 KO-D Tag Team Title defences has been cut short by the Golden Lovers. Even worse for the former champions, neither Yuko Miyamoto or Isami Kodaka were pinned to lose the belts. Konosuke Takeshita & Tetsuya Endo were also involved in the 3 Way Tag match after they fought the Golden Lovers to a time limit draw in Osaka two weeks ago. Kota Ibushi & Kenny Omega were able to isolate Endo and give him the PK Mind Double Tombstone to become the new champions. After the match Kodaka told Ibushi to give them back the belts but Ibushi said no. Kodaka refused to accept the result because neither he or Miyamoto were pinned.
