7. Shino Suzuki & HIMAWARI defeated Haru Kazashiro & Toga when Suzuki submitted Kazashiro with the Modified Cobra Clutch (14:17).

Today was Shino Suzuki’s day in the spotlight with Tokyo Joshi Pro paying a visit to her home area of Shizuoka. She made the most of it by winning the main event and tapping out Haru Kazashiro to get there. With this being her third homecoming show in her career, Suzuki said she feels very fortunate to get these events and to wrestle with her classmates like HIMAWARI, Kazashiro and Toga. However it frustrates her that she never takes advantage of these opportunities and is always falling behind everyone else. But today proves she will always reach her destination no matter the circumstances. She’ll sometimes get stuck in traffic and may need to take a back road but ultimately she will guide everyone in TJPW to where they want to go. She hopes there will be more homecoming shows for her in the future. HIMAWARI told her she’ll have to win in every main event for them from here on out.

Jealousy is rearing its ugly head towards Rika Tatsumi as she getting fed up of seeing Mizuki getting along with Uta Takami instead of her. Her feelings on the matter are getting noticed by Mizuki and Takami too. Today was the first time in a while Mizuki got to wrestle Tatsumi and see isn’t looking forward to doing it several more times in the near future. Takami says the relationship between those two is scary but also precious. Tatsumi is convinced Mizuki wants to be with her instead of the “naughty koala” and her proof is the way Mizuki clung onto her during the match. Miu Watanabe admits the “naughty koala” can be very annoying but is also very dangerous. They both agree that they should capture it quickly, probably at the next prelim match.

Suzume said that when Mahiro Kiryu asked to challenged her for the International Princess Title, she could see the Kiryu that she spends time with outside the ring rather than the Kiryu that is a pro wrestler. She is happy to put the title on the line against her because Kiryu is both her senior and her friend but she’s a little worried for that reason too. Kiryu is determind to face her and thinks today’s match was good preparation despite being on the losing side. She knows she will have to neutralize Suzume’s strengths but doesn’t want to reveal all of her tricks before the title match.

Whenever TJPW held a show in North America this year, they often relied on a referee who was only ever referred to by the name Mike. Well it turns out after working some of their shows in America and Canada, he has now travelled over to Japan and worked on today’s show! His match just so happened to be the one with Pom Harajuku in it and she screamed in his ears just like all the other times they were in the ring together. Meanwhile Raku brought out a fishing rod with a packet of potato chips attached to distract Miyu Yamashita & Sakura Hattori with. It distracted Yamashita long enough for Harajuku to catch her in a butterfly net. Yamashita took it off her head pretty easily so RakuPom then took out a much bigger net to trap her in. Yamashita eventually got freed and she wasted no time in pinning Harajuku with the Attitude Adjustment.

Hyper Misao wanted to liven up Suzuki’s homecoming show, believing they have a close connection because they both wear the colour green. Her plan was to have Mifu Ashida lead the way with her cheerleading skills but it was all a trap for Misao to attack her before the match began.

Day 2 of the Texas Stampede tour was also the last of Tokyo Joshi Pro’s appearances at this year’s SXSW festival in Austin. Just like yesterday they drew a really good turnout although it’s currently not possible to tell how much of the crowd were ticket buyers and how many got comped in through their SXSW passes. Still, everyone working the show gathered together at the end to thank the city of Austin for hosting them over the last two days. After taking a break for a couple of days, TJPW will next move on to Dallas and Houston this weekend for the remaining dates of their tour.

While yesterday’s show had a focus around building towards “GRAND PRINCESS ’26”, today’s match lineup was more scattershot. Miu Watanabe & Suzume teamed up in the main event just over two months after they fought each other for the Princess Of Princess Title at the annual 4th January show in Korakuen Hall. Their opponents Mizuki & Uta Takami started off as a makeshift team entering the Max Heart Tournament until they went on a Cinderella run all the way to the final. It was nothing but pride on the line and the two teams still showed out. Mizuki countered the Tear Drop into the Whirling Candy then Takami dazed Watanabe with her speed to get her into the Koala Clutch. Watanabe got a rope break the first time then countered a second Koala Clutch into a Power Slam. Watanabe then used her power to fight off her opponents two against one until Suzume jumped in to give Mizuki the Ring A Bell. Watanabe then finished off Takami with the Tear Drop for the victory.

The two longest active wrestlers in the TJPW roster faced off in the semi-main event. Both Miyu Yamashita and Shoko Nakajima have been with the promotion since pretty much the beginning yet it’s been around two and a half years since they last had a singles match against each other. Neither wanted to lose and pulled out the abilities to kick out of each other’s finishers. Yamashita kicked out of the Northern Lights Suplex while Nakajima was lucky to had been standing on the ring apron when she was hit with the Skull Kick. That meant she had to be dragged away from the ropes giving her enough recovery time to kick out of the pin. However Yamashita caught Nakajima off guard with a Running Knee Strike to the back, leaving her as a sitting duck for the Crash Rabbit Heat. Backstage Yamashita said she doesn’t get to wrestle her contemporaries one on one as often as she used to because the TJPW roster keeps growing with new members. But Nakajima is an opponent who always makes Yamashita feel the need to get even stronger. Nakajima said Yamashita somehow becomes 100 times more motivated whenever she is in America, like the country gives her some sort of skills buff. They’ll be wrestling each other in a tag match on the Houston show so she will aim to get revenge for today’s loss over there.

When Rika Tatsumi found out they were selling popcorn in the venue she couldn’t help but get a bucket for herself. Thankfully some fans standing ahead of her in the queue decided to give her their bucket and she accepted the gift. She then force fed Yuki Aino the popcorn while they wrestled their match.

Both Raku & Pom Harajuku entered the ring for their match wearing Buc-ee one piece outfits. Meanwhile the referee known only to everyone as Mike tried to plug his ears with tissue to block out Harajuku’s screaming. It worked until Harajuku pulled the tissue out of his ears. Ober Eats got fed up with the other team’s antics and stripped them out of the outfits. Wakana Uehara then got the rare boos against her by throwing the costumes out of the ring. Harajuku later brought the costumes back for the hot tag, giving one to Yuki Kamifuku so she could challeng her to a Buc-ee Fight! Kamifuku joined in the fun but ruined it by poking Harajuku in the eyes before pinning her with the Famouser.

The emergence of Sakura Hattori sparked some curiosity in Hyper Misao. Before their match began, Misao avoided shaking Hattori’s hand to get on the microphone. She wanted to ask Hattori two questions. First, is she a ninja? Hattori nodded. Second, is she justice? Hattori wouldn’t answer and also slapped away a handshake so Misao determined she must be evil! Misao attacked her with such heroic actions as spraying her in the face and crashing the Hyper Dramatic Dream into her at ringside. But back in the ring Hattori dodged the Hypami Returns, tripped Misao down and then tangled her up in a llave style cradle to pin her for the three count.

Yuki Arai displayed brand new wrestling gear in the opening match. She rekindled her Kyoto Tag team with Mifu Ashida to take on the makeshift pairing of Arisu Endo & Shino Suzuki. Late in the match Arai put Suzuki in the Scorpion Death Lock but Endo broke it up with a Super Kick. Ashida got Endo with a Hook Kick before throwing her away with a German Suplex. She then helped Arai give Suzuki the Full Nelson Buster. After that, Arai used a new Spinning Brainbuster to win the match.

The show again opened up with a performance by The Up Up Girls (Pro Wrestling) along with the Megami Maids while Sayuri Namba hosted everything.
