4. Flames, Heart, Repeatedly: Mitomi Masayuki defeated Shibata with the Salty Splash (8:42).
5. Ganbare☆Wrestling Vs Shin Ganbare☆Wrestling: Ken Ohka & Shinichiro Tominaga defeated Kenso Ohka & Osamu Namiguchi when Ohka pinned Namaguchi with the Spear Of Fire (16:17).

Alliances old and new were formed throughout today’s show because the World’s Strongest Ganbare☆Tag Tournament is taking place in April. Shin Ganbare☆Wrestling were defeated in the main event and Kenso Ohka placed the blame on Osamu Namiguchi. Kenso dropped a surprise and said he’ll be teaming with someone else in the tournament. He’ll be teaming with KAZMA SAKAMOTO! After Kenso left, Ken Ohka asked Shinichiro Tominaga to be enter the tournament with him. Tominaga politely declined because he already asked Hi69 to team with him. When the show was over Ohka went searching for a tag partner. Atsushi Maruyama agreed at first but then remembered he is already booked elsewhere. Both Takafumi Ito and Shuichiro Katsumura asked to team with Ohka but he couldn’t choose between them. So Ito and Katsumura decided to team together instead. Finally Ohka got a Facetime call from Ai Shimizu. She is currently in Toyama, Ohka’s hometown. Shimizu is training to become stronger and went to Toyama to learn Ohka’s secrets. To prove it she told Ohka she was on the call with his dad! When the call ended Ohka accepted that he wouldn’t find a tag partner today.

The atmosphere for Mitomi Masayuki Vs Shibata was tense as there was still some uneasiness in their friendship. Masayuki wanted to bury the hatchet but Shibata kept rejecting him. It wasn’t until the match ended that Shibata saw the light and agreed to reform Enjo-gun with Masayuki.

Yumehito Imanari was in a good mood because he just purchased a guide to Catch-As-Catch-Can wrestling written by Billy Robinson. Imanari studied the book and predicted he would win his match with the Double Arm Suplex. Whatever he studied didn’t stick because he had to flick through the book again before the bell rang. His attempts to do the Double Arm Suplex failed. Ito countered the move into a Manjigatame then Tsurumaki tapped him out with the Back Facelock. Ito and Katsumura got into a brawl after the match. Ito challenged Katsumura to a singles match then admitted he was getting bored with their current situation.

Sayaka Obihiro began her match with Maruyama by warning him that she’s been taking Shorinji Kempo lessons. He didn’t take her seriously. In fact, Marutama told Obuhiro he’s been studying her matches in preparation and listed all of her signature moves as proof. He challenged her to perform those moves and then pin him so he could kick out of them. He succeeded in kicking out of all of them but an unexpected collision ended with Obihiro falling on top of him and getting the three count. Afterwards Obihiro said she is from Hokkaido, Maruyama is from Osaka and Ohka is from Toyama. She now wants to wrestle opponents from all the other prefectures in Japan.

Ohka approached Yukihiro Abe after the opening match and asked him if he had a partner in mind for the Tag League. Suddenly Keisuke Ishii appeared and did a Double Dropkick with Abe to Ohka. Ishii thinks he himself is a good choice for Abe to team with. Ishii wants to enter a tag league because it reminds him of his favourite AJPW Real World Tag League match, Kenta Kobashi & Jun Akiyama Vs Stan Hansen & Akira Taue from 1999. Now Ishii & Abe are thinking of a team name. They will either be Return Of Young Drama or Memory Of Young Drama.

Another team was formed during the show. Nobuhiro Tsurumaki wants to team with Chikara. The two fought each other before when Tsurumaki under the mask as Mars Spector. Chikara earned his respect during those matches.

4. Wrestling & Martial Arts DX: Takafumi Ito & Shuichiro Katsumura defeated Chikara & Yumehito Imanari when Katsumura submitted Imanari with the Ninja Choke (15:59).
5. Is He A True Friend?: Ken Ohka defeated Minoru Fujita with the Spear Of Flame (21:34).

The grudge between Ken Ohka and Minoru Fujita in Ganbare☆Wrestling has been surrounding them for over a year. Alliances, betrayals and a lot of spilt blood had come between the two. When Tomodachi-gun collapses Fujita claimed he turned over a new leaf. Again. He and Ohka faced off one more time to settle their issues and neither of them held back. Fujita was busted open early on when Ohka hit him with a chair during a ringside brawl. Fujita retaliated by targeting Ohka’s foot and bashing it against the ring post. He countered the Spear Of Flame into a Cradle for a nearfall but Ohka hit the move on his second attempt. Fujita locked in a Triangle Choke but Ohka reached the ropes and then hit a Dragon Suplex. Ohka hit the Spear Of Flame again and that got him the three count.

Despite all the bad blood between the two, Ohka just wanted Fujita to be his friend again. Fujita said his plan to take over Ganpuro took the over a year to execute and all came down to this match. And it ended in failure. Fujita admitted defeat and admitted he lost to the pro wrestler, Ken Ohka. Fujita was about to leave until he remembered something. Both Hi69 and Madoka left him high and dry last month. He knows they are still enemies of Ganpuro. Ohka offered Fujita to continue wrestling in Ganpuro and this time he can do it as his friend. Ohka also wants Fujita to wrestle at Ganpuro’s Korakuen Hall debut in October. Fujita gave a wry smile and walked away. He then stopped himself and accepted the offer. He was going to go there as the “ace” anyway.

Takafumi Ito & Shuichiro Katsumura didn’t get along during their tag match with Power Of Dreams. When one was in the ring wrestling the other would yell instructions and criticisms at the wrestling holds. Katsumura got the submission win but when he tried to shake Ito’s hand after the match, Ito grabbed his arm and put him in an Armlock.

Yukihiro Abe is back in Ganpuro’s good graces after he left Tomodachi-gun. Although he lost to Fujita last week he was back to winning ways here with Sayaka Obihiro. Ohka watched them team together and afterwards told Obihiro she passed the test to prove she is a suitable replacement in Ganpuro for Emi Sakura. In Ohka’s eyes Obihiro and Sakura are equals. Obihiro then told Ohka that Sakura will indeed come to Ganpuro soon. If this place is good enough for Obihiro then it’s good enough for Sakura too.

Isami Kodaka used hits to his advantage when he ducked a Clothesline from Kouki Iwasaki and then immediately dove out of the ring onto Kazusada Higuchi. Tetsuya Endo then attacked Iwasaki and finished him with the Sky Twister Press. Endo celebrated a successful defence of his Right To Challenge contract with some drinks.

The 3 Way Match began with Shunma Katsumata and Sayaka Obihiro testing each other’s strength with Hand Sumo. Antonio Honda couldn’t participate and began to cry over being left out. Katsumata and Obihiro grabbed each of Honda’s hands so he could be included then both him in the chest. Honda shrugged off the blows and pointed at both of them shouting “You!” He then attacked his opponents with Southern style Jabs. The three traded pinning combinations until Honda got the three count over Katsumata. Obihiro described her first appearance for Tavern Wrestling as a frenzy and a good experience.

DDT “ROAD TO RYOGOKU IN HIROSHIMA ~ DRAMATIC DREAM TOUKASAN”, 01/03/2014
Hiroshima Industrial Hall West Exhibition Hall

1. DDT Extreme Title – New York Rules: HARASHIMA (c) Vs Danshoku Dino

Much like the KO-D Openweight Division, there has not been a strong contender for the DDT Extreme Title lately. Danshoku Dino stepped up and challenged HARASHIMA for a title shot in his home prefecture of Hiroshima. Dino wants the match to be under New York Rules, an idea he got when he wrestled MEN’S Teioh back in 2007. Under New York Rules you must kiss your opponent while pinning him to win. HARASHIMA accepted the rules and said he will go through special training for the match. He will go into the woods to search for a hibernating bear to kiss. He will then build a snowman and use that for more intense kissing training. When he watched Dino wrestle MEN’S Teioh all those years ago, he felt a chill down his spine. But he knows he cannot back down now and will train hard to beat Dino.

package-for-amon

During the announcement of the match, a courier approached Amon Tsurumi claiming to have a package he needed to sign for. But just when Tsurumi was about to sign it, HARASHIMA noticed something was wrong and took the piece of paper from him. The paper turned out to be a contract for the HARASHIMA Vs Masa Takanashi KO-D Openweight Title match on 23rd February. According to the contract, the match would be fought under handicap rules with HARASHIMA needing to pin Takanashi for five seconds to win while Takanashi would only need to pin HARASHIMA for one second. Tsurumi caught the courier and she was revealed to be Sayaka Obihiro!

Takanashi entered the room to rescue his friend while Tsurumi yelled at him for trying to trick him into signing another contract. But Takanashi had a backup plan, he had the key for DDT’s ring truck! Tsurumi began to panic and asked if Takanashi was going to sell off the truck, the ring, the sound system or even the chairs. Takanashi said he was found something more important than any of those things, the championship belts! He was going to steal the belts and become champion without having to fight anybody. Takanashi began taunting Tsurumi until HARASHIMA simply grabbed the keys and gave them back to Daisuke Kiso, who explained they were stolen from him while he was stuck in Yokohama yesterday. Their plan foiled, Takanashi and Obihiro needed a distraction so Obihiro bit her tongue and Takanashi yelled for an ambulance as they fled.
