The two teams who will fight to become the first MOP Tag Team Champions have been chosen. KANON & Viento Maligno will be there representing Strange Love Connection. Their opponents are the unexpected pairing of Junta Miyawaki & Rukiya. The two of them haven’t quite seen each other eye to eye when Miyawaki came into DDT at the start of the year. If the team doesn’t work out at least they can say they gave it a shot.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TJPW LIVE IN LAS VEGAS 2026”, 16/04/2026
Pearl Theater At Palms Casino Resort, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

1. International Princess Title: MIRAI (c) Vs X
2. Princess Tag Team Titles: Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara (c) Vs X & X
3. Princess Of Princess Title: Miu Watanabe (c) Vs X

The results of “GRAND PRINCESS ’26” will have a big effect on the card TJPW will put together for their return to Las Vegas in April. They have at least confirmed there will be title matches for each of their three championships. That’s an interesting announcement in regards to the International Princess Title because MIRAI has not been announced for the show, nor has she taken any American bookings for around the same time. At least not yet anyway. It could just be that if she successfully defends the title at Sumo Hall it will then be confirmed she’ll be flying over. Otherwise this news might end up being a spoiler. There are “international talent” yet to be announced for the show. That detail could also describe The IInspiration if they end up winning the Princess Tag Team Titles at Sumo Hall.

The latter half of the tour adds some familiar names. Vert Vixen is back for the Dallas and Houston shows. There’s also the return of somebody we haven’t seen for a while. Jada Stone made several appearances in TJPW throughout 2025 but a knee injury in September cancelled her tour of Japan. That was the last we heard of her in regards to TJPW. But she’s still been wrestling around America and has appeared on some TNA tapings lately. Next she will get to step back into the TJPW ring while they are in Texas.

Another Sumo Hall preview match has Miyu Yamashita & Arisu Endo getting some ring time together as a team. The tour will also be the first time everyone will see Kaya Toribami in action under her new persona Sakura Hattori.

The second show is a little less focused on building towards the Sumo Hall show. The two longest serving members of the TJPW roster face off when Yamashita takes on Nakajima in their first singles match in around two and a half years. Ober Eats will regroup a day after Uehara experiences what The IInspiration are all about and can start to figure out a battleplan.

10. Princess Of Princess Title: Miu Watanabe (c) Vs Yuki Arai

This is the complete card for “GRAND PRINCESS ’26”. The appearances of Hattori and a few special guests are all mashed into the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title Battle Royal. Rika Tatsumi is teasing she will delve deep into her madness and become the Great Wakabayashi-kun in order to defend the title. Matcha will get into the thick of things after she recently beat Yamashita and Toribami for her home promotion’s tag titles. One of the newcomers is Momo Sato, an idol from Harajuku Gakuen who also happens to be Daichi Sato’s little sister. Last but not least, the mascot Minimo-chan has trained hard enough to unlock its own battle mode and will appear in the match as Minimo.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “FIRST SPARKLE AT AIOI HALL” Results

February 28, 2026

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “FIRST SPARKLE AT AIOI HALL”, 28/02/2026
Aichi Kariya City Industrial Promotion Center (Aioi Hall)
299 Fans

1. Toga defeated Chika Nanase with a Face Lock (6:16).
2. 3 Way Match: Hyper Misao defeated Uta Takami and Kira Summer when Misao pinned Summer with La Magistral Cradle (8:28).
3. Suzume & Ren Konatsu defeated HIMAWARI & Shion Kanzaki when Konatsu pinned Kanzaki with the Aries Comet (?:??).
4. Mizuki defeated Mahiro Kiryu with the Diving Foot Stomp (9:57).
5. Yuki Kamifuku, Wakana Uehara & Mifu Ashida defeated Rika Tatsumi, Raku & Pom Harajuku when Kamifuku pinned Harajuku with the Famouser (9:04).
6. Miyu Yamashita & Kaya Toribami defeated Shoko Nakajima & Sara Phoenix when Yamashita pinned Phoenix with the Skull Kick (13:13).
7. Miu Watanabe, Yuki Aino & Haru Kazashiro defeated Yuki Arai, Arisu Endo & Shino Suzuki when Watanabe submitted Arai with the Canadian Backbreaker (19:19).

Remember that storyline from a year ago about Miu Watanabe is a monster rather than a princess? Yeah, that monster is slowly crawling out of the abyss as the tension between her and Yuki Arai is growing thicker. Watanabe made Arai submit to the Canadian Backbreaker to win today’s main event and then raised the Princess Of Princess Title belt over her head in victory. Arai tried to strike Watanabe in retaliation but she was easily knocked away and her team had to leave the ring before things escalated. Watanabe changed back to her normal bubbly self to close out the show and mistakenly said “GRAND PRINCESS ’26” was happening on 9th March before correcting herself with the right date of the 29th. Backstage Arai told her team that today’s loss really hurt her and her back is in a lot of pain from taking the Canadian Backbreaker. She’ll have to recover in time for the next warm up match for Sumo Hall.

A falling out almost happened between Rika Tatsumi, Raku & Pom Harajuku over the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title. Raku & Harajuku wanted to win the title and Tatsumi lost her temper at them. Mifu Ashida urged them with her cheerleading to make up. Yuki Kamifuku went and won the match for her team then spoke with Wakana Uehara backstage about their next Princess Tag Team Titles defence. They are surprised and excited to be facing The IInspiration and want them to learn a list of words for when they come to Japan. “Wabi-sabi, Omotenashi, Ober Eats.” “Sushi, Ramen, Ober Eats.” “Pokémon, Hello Kitty, Ober Eats.” “Tempura, Sukiyakai, Ober Eats.” “Toyota, Nissan, Ober Eats.” “Mochi, Tofu, Ober Eats.”

On this day 11 years ago Hyper Misao had her debut match. She wanted to start things fresh today and asked for her 3 Way Match to be changed into Uta Takami versus Kira Summer in a singles bout with Misao facing the winner. The other two decided against it and attacked her to ensure it stayed every girl for herself.

Ohka Wins TTT Gold, The IInspiration Coming To TJPW, Minimo-chan Is Training

February 18, 2026

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “FINAL CURTAIN IN KOBE ART CENTER”, 21/02/2026
Kobe Art Center

1. 3 Way Match: Rika Tatsumi Vs Pom Harajuku Vs Mahiro Kiryu
2. Haru Kazashiro Vs Shion Kanzaki
3. Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara Vs Yuki Aino & Kira Summer
4. Shoko Nakajima & Chika Nanase Vs Yuki Arai & HIMAWARI
5. Aja Kong, Raku & Ren Konatsu Vs Hyper Misao, Mifu Ashida & Sara Phoenix
6. MIRAI & Toga Vs Suzume & Arisu Endo
7. Miu Watanabe & Shino Suzuki Vs Mizuki & Uta Takami

This will be the final time Tokyo Joshi Pro comes to Kobe Art Center. The venue will be going under changes and the planned finished layout is considered to be unsuitable for holding wrestling shows according to Tetsuya Koda. So in the future TJPW will be looking for another venue in Kobe to host Mizuki’s homecoming shows. Somehow I don’t expect the Ring Soul bar to be among the options.

The International Princess Title scene gathers together for an important preview match. The current champion MIRAI is hanging around for a while and is teaming with her previous challenger Toga. On the other team is MIRAI’s next challenger Suzume along with her Daisy Monkey partner and former champion Arisu Endo.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “LOVE & FLAME ~ THE BURNING VENUS RETURNS”, 22/02/2026

6. Miu Watanabe, Rika Tatsumi & Kira Summer Vs Yuki Arai, Toga & Mifu Ashida
7. Shoko Nakajima, Yuki Aino & Haru Kazashiro Vs Mizuki, Arisu Endo & Uta Takami

Yuki Aino doesn’t have to worry about a potential relocation for her homecoming shows though. She and the rest of the ToJo Tokusatsu Club will be headlining the event. Maybe they’ll get an update on their Super Sentai goal for Sumo Hall along the way.

GANBARE☆PRO “A SCANNER DARKLY 2026”, 22/02/2026

3. STRANGE LOVE CONNECTION Vs FANTÔMES DRAMATIC!: MAO, KANON, Yukio Naya & X (w/ KIMIHIRO) Vs Chris Brookes, HARASHIMA, Antonio Honda & Hinata Kasai

Junta Miyawaki continues to get in the ring with new faces during his stay in DDT. Next up for him is Yuni in a first time ever match up.

1. Naomi Yoshimura & Yuki Ishida Vs Kazuki Hirata & Akito
2. Special Tag Match: Sanshiro Takagi & Rukiya Vs Jun Akiyama & Yuni
3. Special Single Match: To-y Vs KANON

Since DDT is heading back to Osaka, that means Sanshiro Takagi & Rukiya get to reform their Toyonaka tag team. Due to injuries and other absences they haven’t been able to do this since 2024.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “GRAND PRINCESS ’26”, 29/03/2026
Tokyo Ryogoku Kokugikan

1. Special Tag Match: Yuka Sakazaki & KONOSUKE TAKESHITA Vs Hyper Misao & Super Sasadango Machine
2. International Princess Title: MIRAI (c) Vs Suzume
3. Princess Tag Team Titles: Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara (c) Vs Jessie McKay & Cassie Lee
4. Princess Of Princess Title: Miu Watanabe (c) Vs Yuki Arai

Well, Ober Eats said they wanted to face a tag team that are a big deal. They also said they want to have the best match on the show and er… yeah… it’s nice to want things. Anyway TJPW went and got The IInspiration to be Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara’s next challengers for the Princess Tag Team Titles. The Australian pair of Jessie McKay & Cassie Lee were known as The IIconics in WWE before going to TNA with the name change. They won the women’s tag team championships in both companies and just recently signed a deal with AEW so they match the requirements Ober Eats were looking for.

The mascot Minimo-chan spent Monday training with Mahiro Kiryu for its upcoming pro wrestling debut. Super Sasadango Machine gave Minimo-chan the task of learning a special move but Kiryu was sceptical over the mascot’s ability to wrestle. Minimo-chan proved her wrong by running the ropes, doing Wrist Locks and even performing a Side Thrust Kick to the ribs with ease. It then told Kiryu that with this kick it will win its debut match in Sumo Hall! An interview was held after training where Minimo-chan revealed it used to watch All Japan VHS tapes over and over until they all wore out. Its favorite wrestlers are Steve Williams, Doug Furnas and Dan Kroffat. Minimo-chan also aims to eventually fight for a championship!

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TJPW INSPIRATION”, 18/04/2026
TOKYO SQUARE In Itabashi

How curious. The next TJPW Inspiration show will feature Rika Tatsumi, Mahiro Kiryu, Arisu Endo, Haru Kazashiro, Mifu Ashida, Kira Summer, Chika Nanase, Ren Konatsu and Shion Kanzaki on the card along with three guest wrestlers. While this is going on Miyu Yamashita, Shoko Nakajima, Hyper Misao, Yuki Aino and Toga will be in Las Vegas for Wrestlemania Weekend. Yamashita and Toga already have match bookings but the other three are so far only advertised for a meet and greet at WrestleCon. The mystery continues.
