7. DISASTER BOX Vs DAMNATION!: HARASHIMA, Toru Owashi & Yuki Ueno defeated Daisuke Sasaki, Soma Takao & Mad Paulie when Ueno pinned Paulie with a Frankensteiner (18:24).

Today’s result is a good sign for DISASTER BOX as they prepare for the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles match next month. HARASHIMA hit Mad Paulie with the Standing Somato, stunning Paulie long enough for Yuki Ueno to pin him with a Frankensteiner. HARASHIMA encouraged the newborn DISASTER BOX to rise rapidly and win the titles from DAMNATION!

DDT had 50 copies of Kazuki Hirata’s exercise DVD still in stock that they needed to get rid of. They were able to sell 41 of them up until today’s show and came to the conclusion that nobody else will buy the remaining copies. Sanshiro Takagi wanted Hirata to buy the remaining 9 copies but Hirata refused. They agreed to make their match a 60 minute time limit Falls Count Anywhere match set for 9 falls! Every time a wrestler lost a fall they are forced to buy a DVD for 3,000 yen a piece. All 9 falls had to be done within the 60 minutes. Takagi won the first 8 falls but failed to make a clean sweep when Hirata caught him in the Miracle One Shot Cradle to win the final fall. That was enough of a moral victory to satisfy Hirata. Plus he now gets 8 votes for the Dramatic General Election because he spent 24,000 yen at the DDT merch table! I guess there’s no rules prohibiting the contestants from buying their own voting ballots to vote for themselves.

The unlikely pairing of Makoto Oishi & Keisuke Okuda had trouble meshing together but they ultimately pulled it off in the end. Oishi positioned himself in front of Yuki Iino and provoked Okuda to come and kick him. Oishi dodged it and Okuda kicked Iino. Oishi then pinned Iino with a Jackknife.

After intermission Sanshiro Takagi & Tomomitsu Matsunaga came out to make an announcement. They are displeased over Booing 2018 being left off the 23rd September Korakuen Hall show. They also noticed that DDT for the last few years has been light on showcasing independent wrestlers. DDT is owned by CyberAgent (in fact the Korakuen show takes place on the 1st anniversary of the sale) but they will always remember their past as an indie league. So they want to hold a special audition match on the Korakuen pre-show with the goal of recruiting new independent wrestlers, local wrestlers and student wrestlers for a massive dream indie show called “ALL DOIN”! Takagi is aware of the super indie show called “ALL IN” that recently took place in America. He admits this idea is probably a rip off. He wants anybody in Japan interested in taking part to DM him on social media with the hashtag #ALLDOIN.

2. 3 Way Match: Mizuki defeated Yuki Kamifuku and Hinano when Mizuki pinned Kamifuku with the Diving Foot Stomp (7:39).
3. Nodoka Tenma defeated Hikari with the Killswitch (7:10).

6. Miyu Yamashita, Yuka Sakazaki & Shoko Nakajima defeated Reika Saiki, Maki Itoh & Miu when Yamashita pinned Miu with the Attitude Adjustment (17:55).

Miyu Yamashita, Yuka Sakazaki & Shoko Nakajima returned from their American adventure to defeat Reika Saiki, Maki Itoh & Miu in today’s main event. Their speech after the match was interrupted by Itoh who demanded a singles match with Mizuki. She will get what she wants and the match was booked for 22nd September. Sakazaki told Itoh that Mizuki is hers now. Yamashita & Nakajima cooled the situation down by thanking everybody for supporting them and Tokyo Joshi Pro. They promise to do their best so everybody around the world can watch them.

The America love spread over to Yuna Manase and Hyper Misao. Both of them put their heads together to create the Queen Of USA Match. Along with the regular wrestling rules, the match could also be won when somebody wears a USA hat and correctly dances to the song “USA” by DA PUMP. There were points when Daisuke Kiso and Sayuri Nanba had the hat put on their head. Eventually both Manase and Misao both wore hats and danced while they fought until Koda judged Manase to be the winner.

Azusa Takigawa has renamed the Christie Agape. It is now called the Broadcaster. On 22nd September, Takigawa will face Yamashita for her 3rd Anniversary Match.
