Day 3 of the D-Ou Grand Prix was headlined with a champion versus champion match between Daisuke Sasaki and MAO. Sasaki blocked the Cannonball 450 with his knees and hit the Now Or Never before applying La Mistica Cross Facelock. MAO struggled over to the ropes but Sasaki rolled him into the centre of the ring, making him give up. After the match Sasaki introduced his group to the Fuji locals as “DAMNATION from Tokyo”. He explained that he is using the Grand Prix to search for an opponent to defend the KO-D Openweight Title against on 3rd January. So far Puma King is under consideration but MAO is not. Sasaki closed out the show by saying the Grand Prix will be won by either himself or another member of DAMNATION. Nobuhiro Shimatani interrupted to say it would be him and Sasaki cut him off with a Low Blow.

In a rematch from the first D-Ou Grand Prix, Akito avenged his defeat to Kazusada Higuchi. He targeted the big man’s legs throughout the match with a big attack coming from a Gory Bomb Drop. Higuchi resisted the Anklelock and went for the Doctor Bomb only for Akito to take him down for the Anklelock again. This time instead of going for a submission, Akito instead switched the Anklelock into a Modified School Boy to grab the win. Higuchi admitted that he knew his legs would be targeted but he didn’t expect it to be so much. Akito’s next match is against Sasaki on the 7th. He notes that Sasaki isn’t as good when he wrestles in non-title matches so this is Akito’s best chance to beat him.

At the start of the show Yuki Iino interrupted Makoto Oishi’s welcome speech with a demand. If Iino won today, Oishi’s mother in the audience would have to marry him and Oishi would have to call him Daddy. Iino taunted Oishi during the match by saying he would become his father. He also went to sit beside Oishi’s mom in the front row. Iino accidentally Speared Konosuke Takeshita which led to Oishi pinning Iino with the Jikiden Tornado Clutch. Oishi suffered a bloodied nose during the match but that didn’t ruin today for him. He thanked HARASHIMA for the match and also his mother for coming to see him wrestle.

The Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title changed hands for the second time in the Grand Prix when Tetsuya Endo beat Mike Bailey. The Flamingo Driver Bailey used to beat Takeshita was countered into the Yurikamome Hold. The two went back and forth with close calls until Endo used a Handspring into a Cradle to pin Bailey. Endo said he was too tired after the match but his high motivation made him win. Bailey was disappointed to lose the Iron Man Title but he’s also relieved it was to another human instead of something like food or a table.

Three matches in and Go Shiozaki finds himself on top of the A Block undefeated. Today’s win was against the other tournament outsider Puma King. Shiozaki countered the Puma Kingdom Super Power Bomb into a Hurricanarana and later pinned King with another Hurricanrana. Shiozaki felt nostalgic after the match because it’s been a while since he last wrestled a luchador. With two defeats in a row, Puma King promised to do his best because he needs to win his remaining matches.

Sammy Guevara flew a drone to the ring during his entrance then proceeded to win against Masahiro Takanashi. He used a standing Spanish Fly and the Shooting Star Press to grab the victory. Afterwards Guevara bragged about his abs.
