Sena Shiori will miss the show because of a high fever. She went to hospital for a flu diagnosis and the result came back negative. The decision was still made for Shiori to get some rest instead of wrestling tomorrow. Mahiro Kiryu will now be part of a tag match with the women who were meant to have a 3 Way Match.

1. Worldwide Match: Chris Brookes Vs Royce Chambers
2. DDT Extreme Title: HARASHIMA (c) Vs Shinya Aoki

Shinya Aoki wanted to use his Right To Challenge Gauntlet to get a DDT Extreme Title match. He was told the Gauntlet is not meant for that championship but he still qualified for a title shot anyway. Also HARASHIMA likes to fight him.

A lot of eyes will be on Chris Brookes and Royce Chambers. Brookes for going through his year long stay in Japan and Chambers for suddenly becoming a potential hot prospect on the indie scene.

Maku Donaruto will be on the show.

Cody Hall Gone From DDT

DDT released a statement this morning that went at follows:

[Announcement Regarding Cody Hall]

Thank you for your support for DDT Pro-Wrestling.

Cody Hall has recently made an inappropriate comment on Twitter, and we have contacted him regarding this situation. Cody Hall has apologized to us, and has also suggested withdrawing himself from the remaining dates of his tour as well as relinquishing his Anytime Anywhere contract. In light of the gravity of his comments, we have agreed to all of his suggestions above.

All announced cards including Cody Hall will be changed, and the scheduled KO-D Tag Championship Match in Nagoya on February 24 will be cancelled. All updated cards will be announced once they are decided.

DDT Pro-Wrestling will keep working to provide pro-wrestling content that can be enjoyed by the fans. We sincerely apologize to everyone that has been affected by this situation, as well as all of our fans.

This was in regards to a tweet Cody Hall sent to Chris Dickinson making a Coronavirus and “Yellow Fever” joke that did not go down well with anyone. As mentioned above, Hall had apologised both to DDT and publicly on his Twitter account.

One last thing, if your reaction to this is to blame “Cancel Culture” or “Social Justice Warriors” then fuck off.
