Away from DDT, Danshoku Dieno started his own little project for training amateurs into becoming pro wrestlers. DDT would mention it here and there to help Dieno get some applicants but otherwise not much was ever made of it. All of a sudden, Dieno tells Sanshiro Takagi he has five elite students ready to hunt Takagi for the DDT Extreme Title! From the start of his title reign, Takagi has said he will defend the belt against anyone including amateurs. He will travel to a place described as a Hell Gate to fight these elite amateurs.
