6. HARASHIMA & Akito defeated Konosuke Takeshita & Antonio Honda when HARASHIMA pinned Honda with the Somato (17:46).

During the main event Antonio Honda let out that he spent all of the previous night thinking about the folk tale Gon, the Little Fox. Akito wanted him to tell the story but Honda attacked him instead. HARASHIMA lost count of how many times DDT ran an event inside the Loisir Hotel Toyohashi during his show closing speech. When he figured out it was the third time he said they should do a fourth show someday.

The show took place on Yoshihiro Takayama’s 50th birthday! He celebrated by kneeing Kouki Iwasaki in the chest. He was also impressed with Kazusada Higuchi’s power despite Higuchi only wrestling for less than 2 years. His advice for Higuchi is not to think too much about winning the championship but instead focus on crushing your opponent.

Danshoku Dino had spent the day eating and drinking at the hotel restaurant and it left him feeling particularly randy for his match. For everyone’s sake he gave Amon Tsurumi a safe word if he went out of control and got them kicked out. The safe word was “Compliance”. Whenever Dino did one of his signature moves Tsurumi said the word “Compliance” on the microphone. It happened so often that Dino could barely do anything to his opponents. Dino eventually climbed the top rope and bent over in his Hell Gate position. Tsurumi climbed into the ring yelling at Dino to stop but Keisuke Ishii grabbed him. Kazuki Hirata then Dropkicked Ishii into Dino’s backside. Sanshiro Takagi wanted to throw Tsurumi into Dino but he yelled “Compliance!” Takagi instead gave Dino a Superplex and then pinned him with La Magistral Cradle.

Kota Umeda tore his right ACL and also injured his right femur during Sunday’s show in Hanamatsu. Surgery is required so Umeda will unfortunately be out of action for a while. That means he has to miss both the DNA Grand Prix and the Dramatic General Election. Umeda said he currently feels miserable because his immediate goal was to beat Kazusada Higuchi and win the Grand Prix. Also with KUDO just after returning from injury, Umeda was looking forward to Shuten-dōji rampaging through DDT as a four man group. He promises to begin his rampage when he returns.

Another month another tournament for BASARA. This time FUMA came up with an idea to do a tag team league to prove IRON PRIEST’s dominance. But in order to fit in the schedule the tournament will be a playoff instead. It is called the IRON FIST TAG TOURNAMENT in tribute to the Motorhead song and FUMA keeps calling it a Rock Festival instead of a Tag Tournament. Joining the tournament are teams representing BASARA’s units, Sportiva Entertainment and ZERO1. FUMA decided only he and Yusuke Kubo will be there flying the IRON PRIEST flag. He thinks they won’t need Madoka to help them. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & SAGAT are back together. Hiroshi is confident in his own abilities but worries the burden is too much for SAGAT to bear. Surprisingly Gouma Ryu was able to convince Masamune to team with him. Apparently Masamune would have teamed with Isami Kodaka but Kodaka picked Takumi Tsukamoto instead.

Yoshihiko Reappears, The Emperor Settles In, Higuchi Gets Prepared

From 15th to 18th September DDT and Tokyo Joshi Pro will be providing wrestling matches at the annual Tokyo Game Show in Makuhari Messe, Chiba. Each day will have two sessions taking place containing two or three matches. The Ring☆Dream online game will be collaborating with DDT on the 15/9 event, which will have five matches. The matches might find their way to Youtube but I don’t know if DDT’s channel will have them or another channel will.

1. Konosuke Takeshita defeated Gota Ihashi with the German Suplex (5:18)
2. 3 Way Scramble Bunkhouse Alcohol Death Match: Keisuke Ishii defeated Tomomitsu Matsunaga and DJ Nira when Ishii pinned Nira (11:34).
3. Shigehiro Irie & Soma Takao defeated MIKAMI & Hoshitango when Takao pinned Hoshitango with the Gin And Tonic (9:03).
4. Antonio Honda & Tetsuya Endo defeated Sanshiro Takagi & Toru Owashi when Honda pinned Takagi with an Oklahoma Roll (12:59).
5. Danshoku Dino & Makoto Oishi defeated Kota Ibushi & Daisuke Sasaki when Oishi submitted Sasaki with a Cross Kneebar (15:19).
6. HARASHIMA, Yasu Urano & Akito defeated KUDO, Yukio Sakaguchi & Masa Takanashi when HARASHIMA pinned Takanashi with the Somato (19:09).

Sanshiro Takagi’s attempt at lucha wound up costing him a victory. He rolled away from Antonio Honda’s Diving Fist Drop and then applied La Magistral Cradle. Honda suddenly countered the move into an Oklahoma Roll for the victory. Honda afterwards said he needs the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles to continue fighting.

Soma Takao regained some momentum after he was pinned by Yasu Urano yesterday. Today he was able to give the much larger Hoshitango the Gin And Tonic to win his tag match with Shigehiro Irie.

The 3 Way was turned into a Scramble Bunkhouse Alcohol Death Match. A sho bottle was placed in the ring to be used as a weapon. The participants instead drank from it until they were drunk. Yukinori Matsui kicked Keisuke Ishii on top of DJ Nira and then counted it as a pinfall. Ishii then did some drunk karaoke in the ring.

The URRC is back for a second time. Manami Koda was chosen to be the face and body of Yumehito Imanari’s new project aiming to give confidence to female wrestlers. The next step is for Koda to face a male wrestler which is where Yuji Kito comes in.

Isami Kodaka is putting together a 1 day tournament with special rules in place. The first two rounds will feature matches taking place inside a ring with no ropes attached. Victory it earned by pinfall, submission or ring out. The semi-final will feature the same rules but the ring will have its ropes included. The final will be fought under normal rules.

Hiroshi Fukuda will be the special ring announcer for the event.

Today’s show had a different atmosphere than DDT is used to. They booked a show inside a hotel’s food court and many people in attendance had never seen DDT before.

Two days before their KO-D Openweight Title match, both the champion HARASHIMA and the challenger Antonio Honda are looking strong.
