1. Lucha Libre Rules: Sanshiro Takagi & Toru Owashi defeated Kiai Ryuuken Ecchan & DJ Nira when Takagi pinned Nira with La Magistral Cradle (8:46).
2. MIKAMI defeated Akito with a Boomerang School Boy (9:35).
3. Michael & Matsunaga Tag Ordeal: Zeus & The Bodyguard defeated Michael Nakazawa & Tomomitsu Matsunaga when Zeus pinned Nakazawa after the Double Choke Slam (11:35).
4. Kota Ibushi defeated Gota Ihashi with an Avalanche Piledriver (9:58).
5. Konosuke Takeshita & Tetsuya Endo defeated Antonio Honda & Daisuke Sasaki when Takeshita pinned Honda with a German Suplex (12:23).
6. KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles: Keisuke Ishii, Shigehiro Irie & Soma Takao (c) defeated Danshoku Dino, Makoto Oishi & Yukio Sakaguchi when Irie pinned Oishi with the Flying Sausage (13:34).
*V1 for Team Dream Futures.
7. KUDO & Masa Takanashi defeated HARASHIMA & Yasu Urano when KUDO pinned HARASHIMA with a Buzzsaw Kick (14:41).

It’s been a bad weekend for HARASHIMA. First he loses the DDT Extreme Title to Danshoku Dino and then he gets pinned by his upcoming KO-D Openweight Title challenger KUDO. If that’s not enough, it looks like KUDO has left Ura-Shima-Kudo to side with Masa Takanashi. The two have bonded over their love of alcohol with Takanashi calling KUDO his big brother. Takanashi also invited Yukio Sakaguchi to join their new unit. At first it looked like Sakaguchi ignored them but then he returned with his own liquor bottle and joined them for a drink.

Danshoku Dino, Makoto Oishi & Yukio Sakaguchi teamed up and called themselves Sakaguchi Dojo. But when they failed to win the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles they immediately disbanded.

Konosuke Takeshita scored a big win over Antonio Honda in their tag team match. After the match Takeshita told the fans he will be entering a Tokyo university in April after living in Osaka for his entire life. He promises he will work out and return to Osaka as a huge sized wrestler.

Whenever Kota Ibushi and Gota Ihashi are in the ring together, Ibushi usually comes up with a bad idea. This time it was a 2nd Rope Piledriver!

Michael Nakazawa & Tomomitsu Matsunaga will get a match against the Golden Lovers on the 21st March Korakuen Hall show. However due to their losing streak the KO-D Tag Team Titles will not be on the line.

Yukinori Matsui announced details for his 20th Anniversary show in Osaka Bodymaker Colosseum #2 on 13th April. The show will feature Kushinbo Kamen Vs Kikutaro.

2. MIKAMI defeated Kenshin Konno with the Swanton Bomb (8:50).
3. Lucha Libre Rules: Sanshiro Takagi, Toru Owashi & Yuto Aijima defeated Antonio Honda, Daisuke Sasaki & Rey Paroma when Takagi pinned Honda with La Magistral Cradle (11:49).
4. 4 Way Match: Kota Ibushi defeated Yasu Urano, Michael Nakazawa and DJ Nira when Ibushi pinned Nakazawa with the Sit Down Last Ride (10:34).
5. Yukio Sakaguchi & Makoto Oishi defeated Shigehiro Irie & Soma Takao when Sakaguchi submitted Takao with the Cobra Clutch (8:47).
6. KUDO, Masa Takanashi & Tomomitsu Matsunaga defeated Akito, Tetsuya Endo & Konosuke Takeshita when KUDO pinned Endo with the Diving Double Knee Drop (15:55).
7. DDT Extreme Title – New York Rules: Danshoku Dino defeated HARASHIMA (c) with a Kissing Pin (12:05).
*HARASHIMA fails in V5. Danshoku Dino becomes the 26th DDT Extreme Champion!

Very few men can beat Danshoku Dino in a kissing contest. HARASHIMA found that out the hard way. The two fought in a New York Rules match for the DDT Extreme Title. In order to win you had to kiss your opponent as you pin them for the entire three seconds. HARASHIMA trained as much as he could but when it came to actually kissing Dino in the match, he couldn’t find the courage to do it. This came to be his downfall as he had victory in his hands when he flattened Dino with the Somato. But when HARASHIMA finally had to courage to do the kiss, Dino had enough time to recover and roll the champion into a Kissing Small Package for the three count! Dino now holds the Extreme Title for the sixth time in the title’s history.

Masa Takanashi has a new diet to make himself strong. He will go around Japan drinking the best liquor the country has to offer and that will somehow help him become the KO-D Openweight Champion. Bottoms up.

Trouble just seem to have a habit of finding Yukio Sakaguchi lately. After spending a month getting in fights with KUDO, trouble now seems to be brewing between Sakaguchi and Shigehiro Irie. The two came close to blows after Sakaguchi submitted Soma Takao in their tag team match.

The ring truck parked inside the building was featured in the 4 Way Match. Kota Ibushi tried to reverse the truck over Michael Nakazawa and also Moonsaulted off the truck onto everyone else.

This time around it was Antonio Honda who requested for Lucha Libre rules against Sanshiro Takagi’s team. Unfortunately the Monster Army’s record in Lucha Libre continues to be poor as Takagi avoided the Diving Fist Drop and pinned Honda with La Magistral Cradle. Toru Owashi told the fans afterwards that they will do more and more Lucha Libre matches around Japan. Viva Mexico!

Gota Ihashi replaced Guanchulo in the opener because of an injury Guanchulo suffered during training a few days ago.

The Homo-sapiens are no more but Danshoku Dino & Makoto Oishi have already found a replacement for Aja Kong. Enter Yukio Sakaguchi, fresh off of a defeat to KUDO. A title win here will be just what the doctor ordered to get him back on track.

Amon Tsurumi has been disappointed in the performances of Michael Nakazawa & Tomomitsu Matsunaga lately so they now have to face Zeus & The Bodyguard. How that is supposed to motivate them, I don’t know.

2. Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Contract Battle Royal: X Vs X
3. KO-D Openweight Title: HARASHIMA (c) Vs KUDO

My favourite match in DDT returns for its annual appearance. The Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Contract Battle Royal combines the Royal Rumble and the Money In The Bank to create something bonkers in the usual DDT manner. Last year their was four identical prizes, all KO-D Openweight Title matches but with the extra stipulation the the contracts could change hands like championships. Prizes from previous years have included contracts for promoting shows, winning romantic dates and even temporarily morphing into other wrestlers.

3. Konosuke Takeshita 3-Match Trial Series – 1st Leg: Konosuke Takeshita & Tetsuya Endo defeated Michael Nakazawa & Tomomitsu Matsunaga when Endo pinned Nakazawa with the Sky Twister Press (10:56).
4. KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles Match: Keisuke Ishii, Shigehiro Irie & Soma Takao defeated Danshoku Dino, Makoto Oishi & Aja Kong (c) when Takao pinned Dino with the Gin And Tonic (10:56).
*The Homo-sapiens fail in V2. Team Dream Futures become the 8th KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Champions!
5. Do Or Die!? Negligence Match: KUDO defeated Yukio Sakaguchi with a Backspin Kick (7:39).
6. KO-D Tag Team Titles Match: Kota Ibushi & Kenny Omega (c) defeated Brahman Shu & Brahman Kei when Omega pinned Kei after the PK Mind (13:42).
*V2 for The Golden Lovers.
7. KO-D Openweight Title Match: HARASHIMA (c) defeated Masa Takanashi with the Somato (19:08).
*V6 for HARASHIMA.

HARASHIMA just cannot be stopped, even though not many expected Masa Takanashi to stop him in the first place. Takanashi tried to do everything he could from playing possum to actually trying his best to win but in the end he fell to the Somato just like almost everyone else has during HARASHIMA’s KO-D Openweight Title reign. The next wrestler stepping up to the plate for a title shot is someone close to HARASHIMA, KUDO! HARASHIMA told KUDO he’s been waiting for him and gladly accepted the challenge for the next Korakuen Hall show on 21st March.

In a company filled with weirdness, it really takes a lot of effort to become the most bizarre challenge for a team like the Golden Lovers. Today that team appeared. The Brahman Brothers are infamous for their matches filled with foreign objects you would never expect to see in wrestling matches. The Brahmans made their entrance spitting water at everybody and soaked Tsurumi Amon with bottled tea. Throughout the match they used bamboo swords, a bucket of water, a chocolate cream cake, a bowling ball, a suitcase, pig feet and finally a decapitated pig’s head to try and defeat the KO-D Tag Team Champions. They also blinded the champions with black ink, Poison Mist style. But Kota Ibushi & Kenny Omega later gave them a taste of their own medicine and spat the ink in the faces of the Brahmans. The PK Mind put an end to one of the messiest matches in DDT history.

The grudge between KUDO and Yukio Sakaguchi was formed when the two would not stop fighting each other during their matches. They finally got a singles match between each other and needless to say, they kicked the crap out of each other! KUDO was the last man standing and got the win with a Backspin Kick.

The KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles switched hands as Team Dream Futures defeated The Homo-sapiens. The story of the match was whether or not Keisuke Ishii had the mental strength to resist the Lip Lock from Danshoku Dino, Makoto Oishi & Aja Kong. Even though Kong got to kiss Shigehiro Irie, she also got an accidental kiss from Dino when Soma Takao kicked them into each other. Soma went above and beyond to win by countering the Danshoku Driver into the Gin And Tonic and pinning Dino while his head was still in his tights. Keisuke Ishii was thrilled to be a 6-Man Tag Champion again because Drift were the first champions and they had not held the belts for 393 days. Oishi decided to dissolve The Homo-sapiens but also demanded that he, Dino and a new partner should get a rematch.

Konosuke Takeshita & Tetsuya Endo got off on a great start for their 3 match series. The rookie team defeated Michael Nakazawa & Tomomitsu Matsunaga in an impressive display. After the match Endo said he and Takeshita were second to none. He then asked Tsurumi who their next opponents are going to be. Tsurumi admitted Nakazawa & Matsunaga were disappointing first choices and announced the rookie’s next match in Osaka on 2nd March will be against Zeus & The Bodyguard!

Daichi Kakimoto celebrated his final match for DDT by winning the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title and then losing it afterwards. The Rumble match saw the belt change hands several times. Yasu Urano went in as champion but was pinned by Emi Sakura with the help of Gaunchulo and DJ Nira. Nira then betrayed Sakura to win the belt from her. Akito submitted Nira and then Kakimoto with the help of Guanchulo and Gota Ihashi won the belt from Akito. Kakimoto went on to win the match as champion and was given a farewell ceremony. Kakimoto said he felt 100 times stronger returning to the ring. Everyone celebrated until Kazuki Hirata suddenly gave Kakimoto a School Boy and ran off with the belt.

The opener was fought under Lucha Libre rules, which is becoming common for matches between Sanshiro Takagi & Toru Owashi and the Monster Army. When the rules were announced Owashi got “T2P” chants. The Monster Army suffered another defeat and Antonio Honda was left frustrated. He told his team mates that after working so hard for a year and a half he now realises their goal of purchasing a tank is too great for them to achieve. Honda then announced the Monster Army’s last match will take place next month.

1. KUDO defeated Akito with the Diving Double Knee Drop (5:20).
2. Kota Ibushi defeated Up Up Machine (w/ Up Up Girls & Shogun KY Mana) with the Sit Down Last Ride (7:39).
3. Makoto Oishi & Isami Kodaka defeated Danshoku Dino & Hiroshi Fukuda when Oishi pinned Fukuda after the Zan Isamu Leg from Kodaka (12:14).
– Bonus Match: Up Up Machine (Sanshiro Takagi) defeated Up Up Machine (Kazuki Hirata) with the Sit Down Himawari Bomb (?:??).

DDT co-promoted a show with the Up Up Girls for a show that featured wrestling and musical performances. The event focused on the feud between the Up Up Girls and Homoiro Clover Z. The idols brought in some wrestlers to fight on their behalf. They were the mysterious Up Up Machine, Isami Kodaka and in a surprising betrayal Makoto Oishi! Danshoku Dino was shocked to learn that Oishi was a spy for the Up Up Girls all along! Hiroshi Fukuda stepped up to team with Dino to wrestle Kodaka & Oishi in the main event.

Kota Ibushi had to face the Up Up Machine, the secret weapon in a Strong Machine mask who was accompanied by the Up Up Girls. All of the girls except one also wore similar Super Strong Machine masks. The one who didn’t was dressed up as Shogun KY Wakamatsu. Some of the DDT fans in the audience quickly figured out Up Up Machine was Kazuki Hirata. The girls attacked Ibushi with paper fan whenever he was outside the ring but he was able to grab one of the fans and use it on Machine. Ibushi went on to beat Machine and Dino laughed at the loser afterwards.

Another Up Up Machine appeared after the main event to confront the first Machine. He ripped off the guy’s mask to reveal it was Kazuki Hirata and then challenged him to a match. During the match the new Machine was unmasked to reveal it was Sanshiro Takagi! Takagi beat Hirata and afterwards said he is so rejuvenated from the show that just happened he now feels like he is 20 years old. He hopes DDT and Up Up Girls will joint promote a show again some time.

1. DDT Extreme Title – New York Rules: HARASHIMA (c) Vs Danshoku Dino

Much like the KO-D Openweight Division, there has not been a strong contender for the DDT Extreme Title lately. Danshoku Dino stepped up and challenged HARASHIMA for a title shot in his home prefecture of Hiroshima. Dino wants the match to be under New York Rules, an idea he got when he wrestled MEN’S Teioh back in 2007. Under New York Rules you must kiss your opponent while pinning him to win. HARASHIMA accepted the rules and said he will go through special training for the match. He will go into the woods to search for a hibernating bear to kiss. He will then build a snowman and use that for more intense kissing training. When he watched Dino wrestle MEN’S Teioh all those years ago, he felt a chill down his spine. But he knows he cannot back down now and will train hard to beat Dino.

During the announcement of the match, a courier approached Amon Tsurumi claiming to have a package he needed to sign for. But just when Tsurumi was about to sign it, HARASHIMA noticed something was wrong and took the piece of paper from him. The paper turned out to be a contract for the HARASHIMA Vs Masa Takanashi KO-D Openweight Title match on 23rd February. According to the contract, the match would be fought under handicap rules with HARASHIMA needing to pin Takanashi for five seconds to win while Takanashi would only need to pin HARASHIMA for one second. Tsurumi caught the courier and she was revealed to be Sayaka Obihiro!

Takanashi entered the room to rescue his friend while Tsurumi yelled at him for trying to trick him into signing another contract. But Takanashi had a backup plan, he had the key for DDT’s ring truck! Tsurumi began to panic and asked if Takanashi was going to sell off the truck, the ring, the sound system or even the chairs. Takanashi said he was found something more important than any of those things, the championship belts! He was going to steal the belts and become champion without having to fight anybody. Takanashi began taunting Tsurumi until HARASHIMA simply grabbed the keys and gave them back to Daisuke Kiso, who explained they were stolen from him while he was stuck in Yokohama yesterday. Their plan foiled, Takanashi and Obihiro needed a distraction so Obihiro bit her tongue and Takanashi yelled for an ambulance as they fled.

6. HARASHIMA, KUDO & Yasu Urano defeated Masa Takanashi, Yukio Sakaguchi & Akito when HARASHIMA pinned Takanashi with the Somato (14:54).

The show was lucky to go ahead when snowy conditions around Japan prevented the DDT ring truck from travelling to Shizuoka. Thankfully DDT got a replacement ring from a local promotion called Numazu Pro Wrestling. The Golden Lovers held an autograph session to make up for the show running late while the new ring was being constructed.

Masa Takanashi has not been able to present himself as a strong contender for HARASHIMA and today’s show proved that. The KO-D Champion pinned his next challenger in the main event. KUDO and Yukio Sakaguchi continued their aggressive fighting with each other in the same match.

Today also happened to be Makoto Oishi’s 35th birthday and his mother was in the audience to watch her son team with Danshoku Dino against the Golden Lovers. She got a hug and kiss on the cheek from the Golden Lovers after the match.

1. Lucha Libre Rules: Daisuke Sasaki, Guanchulo & Anarko Montaña defeated Sanshiro Takagi, Toru Owashi & Kazuki Hirata when Sasaki submitted Hirata with the Campana (9:42).
2. 4 Way Match: Hoshitango defeated MIKAMI, Gota Ihashi and DJ Nira when Hoshitango pinned Ihashi after the Swanton Bomb from MIKAMI (3:55).
3. Shigehiro Irie & Soma Takao defeated Makoto Oishi & Akito when Soma pinned Oishi with the Gin And Tonic (9:36).
4. Danshoku Dino defeated Keisuke Ishii with the Danshoku Destroyer (8:19).
5. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title: Yasu Urano (c) defeated Tetsuya Endo with a Cradle (13:00).
*V1 for Yasu Urano.
6. Kenny Omega defeated Tomomitsu Matsunaga with the One-Winged Angel (18:04).
7. Masa Takanashi & Yukio Sakaguchi defeated HARASHIMA & KUDO when Takanashi pinned KUDO after a Knee To The Face from Sakaguchi (13:16).

Call it luck or fortunate circumstances but Masa Takanashi pinned KUDO in the main event to send a message to HARASHIMA. Sure, Yukio Sakaguchi was the one who knocked out KUDO with a knee to the face but Takanashi was the one who pinned him. KUDO got a measure of revenge when he struck Takanashi with a Spin Kick during the post-match promos. KUDO then brawled with Sakaguchi as the show drew to a close.

Tomomitsu Matsunaga tried to summon the powers of Daniel Bryan by getting the fans to chant “Yes! Yes!” during his match with Kenny Omega. Unfortunately the One-Winged Angel put a stop to that harder than Rey Mysterio’s entrance at this year’s Royal Rumble.

Team Dream Futures built some momentum for their upcoming KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Title shot when Soma Takao pinned Makoto Oishi. But that momentum was stopped one match later when Danshoku Dino defeated Keisuke Ishii.

Guanchulo’s friend from Chile turned out to be Anarko Montaña from MAX Lucha Libre. Montaña wrestles in a Robin Mask mask and a tartan kilt. Guanchulo & Montaña have sided with the Monster Army for the time being. The opening match was fought under Lucha Libre rules after Sasaki’s team demanded it. Ring announcer Rikiya Shindo was forced to be the second referee with Daisuke Kiso, a decision that angered Yukinori Matsui because he wasn’t picked and he also had to hand over his referee shirt. When the match ended, Matsui got his shirt back by force.

It was announced that Konosuke Takeshita passed his entry exam into the Nippon Sport Science University. To celebrate, he will go through a three match series beginning at the 23/2 Korakuen Hall show. His first match will be himself and Tetsuya Endo against Michael Nakazawa & Tomomitsu Matsunaga.

Former DDT wrestler Daichi Kakimoto announced he was leaving his job as store manager for the DDT Drop Kick Bar in Shinjuku. Isami Kodaka will become the new store manager next month. Kodaka said he will make Drop Kick become a fun place for people to drink happily.
