2. Bob Sapp Games – 5th Stage: Danshoku Dino defeated Gaylon Summers with a Gaydo Clutch (5:37).
3. Triple Threat: MIKAMI defeated Makoto Oishi and Batten Tamagawa when MIKAMI pinned Tamagawa with a Swanton Bomb (6:01).
4. KO-D Tag Team Title Challenger Match: Kenny Omega & Michael Nakazawa defeated Antonio Honda & Daisuke Sasaki when Omega pinned Honda with the Croyt’s Wrath (14:44).
5. Sanshiro Takagi & Shigehiro Irie defeated Dick Togo & Yasu Urano when Irie pinned Urano with the Diving Teddy Bear (15:21).
6. Winner Gets “Anytime And Anywhere” Contract: Takao Soma defeated Keisuke Ishii with the Diving Guillotine Drop (11:30).
7. HARASHIMA, Kota Ibushi & Hikaru Sato defeated Danshoku Dino, KUDO & Shiori Asahi when HARASHIMA pinned Dino with the Somato (21:07).

Dick Togo and Sanshiro Takagi realised that today was the last time the two rivals would be fighting each other. Togo invited Takagi to visit him in Bolivia sometime after he retires.

Takao Soma smashed through his last road block on the way to his KO-D Openweight Title shot on 19/6. With Keisuke Ishii out of the way, Soma now has the advantage of letting Shuji Ishikawa and GENTARO beat the heck out of each other on the night and then coming in to pick up the scraps and hopefully the KO-D Title.

MIKAMI Vs Posion Sawada JULIE Set For Sumo Hall

Tokyo Ryogoku Kokugikan

1. MIKAMI Vs Poison Sawada JULIE
2. Danshoku Dino Vs Bob Sapp
3. KO-D Openweight Title: Shuji Ishikawa (c) Vs KUDO

A new match was announced for “RYOGOKU PETER PAN 2011” and it is one that celebrates two of DDT’s longest serving stars. In one corner we have MIKAMI, a man who has accomplished it all in DDT and has been with the company since day one. In the other corner, making his return to the ring after a lengthy injury is Poison Sawada JULIE, the serpant who has terrorised DDT since 1999.

7. Sanshiro Takagi & Shigehiro Irie Vs Dick Togo & Yasu Urano

The winner of Match #4 gets the “Anytime And Anywhere” contract, which is already cashed in for 19th June. Takao Soma is supposed to get the KO-D Openweight Title shot on that day but if Keisuke Ishii beats him here, he will replace him in the 19/6 title match.

Danshoku Dino needs to defeat Gaylon Summers in order to face Bob Sapp’s final Assassin. If Summers wins, he will face the Assassin instead and could even replace Dino in the match against Sapp himself at Sumo Hall.

The feud between Antonio Honda and Michael Nakazawa over who gets a title shot will be settled here. Nakazawa convinced Kenny Omega to choose him as his partner for the match to determine the next challengers for the KO-D Tag Team Titles.

*GENTARO & Yasu Urano fail in V4. Shigehiro Irie & Munenori Sawa become the 35th Champions!
6. Dick Togo & HARASHIMA defeated Danshoku Dino & KUDO when Togo pinned Dino with the Danshoku Diving Senton (19:06).

Dick Togo had to turn Danshoku in order to defeat Danshoku Dino in the main event. He didn’t go as far as to kiss Dino, but he did give him a Danshoku Pedigree and finished the match with a Danshoku version of the Diving Senton.

Shigehiro Irie cements his breakthrough status by winning the KO-D Tag Team Championships with Munenori Sawa. I believe this is the first championship of his career. Sawa is now a double champion in the TKG48, also holding the Big China Tag Titles with Sanshiro Takagi.

Antonio Honda prevented Michael Nakazawa from earning his reward from Tsurumi Amon. Instead Honda was given the prize for winning the match. On 12th June at Hakata Star Lanes, Antonio Honda & Daisuke Sasaki will team up to take on Kenny Omega and a mystery partner in a No. 1 Contender’s match for the KO-D Tag Team Titles.

Keisuke Ishii has gotten into Takao Soma’s head by beating him in the Six-Men Tag before their match on 12th June. The upcoming match has been made more interesting as Takao Soma’s “Anytime And Anywhere” KO-D Openweight Title shot will be on the line in the match.

After MIKAMI won the Triple Threat match, he was challenged by HERO! to a singles bout sometime in the future.

Last minute changes have been made for tomorrow’s “NON-FIX DX 4.6” show at Shin-Kiba 1st RING. The ‘Generic Luchador’ El Generico will make his DDT debut against Kazuki Hirata at the show. DDT has been so impressed with Generico’s two Union performances this year that they wanted to give him another match before he returns to North America. Hirata’s original opponent MIKAMI has been added to the opening bout, turning it into a Triple Threat match.

TKG48 Challenge For Tag Titles, Dino’s Assassin Woes

1. DJ Nira Vs HERO!
2. MIKAMI Vvs Kazuki Hirata
3. Give Michael Nakazawa A Chance: Antonio Honda Vs Michael Nakazawa
4. Hikaru Sato, Keisuke Ishii & Makoto Oishi Vs Takao Soma, Tomomitsu Matsunaga & Super Shit Machine
5. KO-D Tag Team Titles: GENTARO & Yasu Urano (c) Vs Shigehiro Irie & Munenori Sawa
6. Dick Togo & HARASHIMA Vs Danshoku Dino & KUDO

The TKG48 duo of Shigehiro Irie and Munenori Sawa were chosen as the No. 1 Contenders for the KO-D Tag Team Titles. It’s a tough challenge ahead as GENTARO & Yasu Urano have been almost unstoppable this year. Sawa was absent for the press conference announcing the match, but Irie made up for it by starting a fight with the champions.

By winning the mini Royal Rumble at “KING OF DDT KYOTO”, Michael Nakazawa was supposed to win a prize from Tsurumi Amon. However, Tsurumi wasn’t convinced that Nakazawa earned it. Nakazawa will appeal the decision by facing Antonio Honda, the man he eliminated to win the Rumble, in a match at Shin-Kiba 1st RING.

DDT “WRESTLING TONKOTSU 2011”, 12/06/2011

1. Keisuke Ishii Vs Takao Soma
2. Bob Sapp Games – 5th Stage: Danshoku Dino Vs Gaylon Summers
3. Danshoku Dino, KUDO & Shiori Asahi Vs HARASHIMA, Kota Ibushi & Hikaru Sato
4. Sanshiro Takagi & Shigehiro Irie Vs Dick Togo & Yasu Urano

Danshoku Dino suffered his first defeat to one of Bob Sapp’s Assassins, losing to Gaylon Summers. A rematch is set at Hakata Star Lane but with a little twist. Bob Sapp will send one more Assassin to Korakuen Hall on 19/6 and the winner of Dino Vs Summers will get to fight the Assassin. Dino needs to defeat all of the Assassins if he wands to gets his hands on Bob Sapp but his dream match may disappear if he loses to Gaylon Summers again.

Some bad blood is flaring up again between Keisuke Ishii and Takao Soma. The two generational rivals will get to settle their differences in a singles match but the result could have consequences for both men in the lead up to Sumo Hall.

On a final note, Ken Ohka was apparently caught spying on Mio Shirai today. When Mio caught Ken she choked him out in the middle of the street with a Headscissors. The two will be on opposing teams for their Union match at Shinjuku FACE this Thursday. Ohka has never really had the best of luck with women.

3. King Of DDT – Semi Final: HARASHIMA defeated Shigehiro Irie with the Somato (9:24).
4. Kyoto Royal Rumble: Michael Nakazawa defeated Antonio Honda by Ring Out (13:54).
Order Of Entries: Michael Nakazawa, Shoichi Uchida, Makoto Oishi, Hideki Shiota, MIKAMI, HERO!, Antonio Honda, Seiya Morohashi.
5. Bob Sapp Games – 4th Stage: Gaylon Summers defeated Danshoku Dino with the Navy Slam (11:48).
6. Dick Togo, GENTARO & Yasu Urano defeated Kota Ibushi, Hikaru Sato & Kazuki Hirata when Togo pinned Hirata with the Diving Senton (18:52).
7. King Of DDT – Final: KUDO defeated HARASHIMA with the Diving Double Knee Drop (18:07).

KUDO has won the King Of DDT tournament and will face the KO-D Openweight Champion at the main event of Sumo Hall on 24th July. KUDO and HARASHIMA battled long and hard for 18 minutes in the main event. In the end, it was KUDO who was left standing tall. Now he has the KO-D Openweight Title in his sights. Will Shuji Ishikawa still be champion by the time Sumo Hall comes or will either GENTARO or Takao Soma take his place?

KUDO’s trip to the final involved getting past Kenny Omega. He survived a Power Bomb into the turnbuckle aswell as a Thunder Fire Power Bomb and was able to avoid the Croyt’s Wrath. Omega attempted an Avalanche version of his finisher but KUDO escaped and trapped Kenny’s legs in the ropes, leaving him hanging in the air. KUDO then jumped onto him with a Diving Knee Drop. He drilled Kenny with Buzzsaw Kicks and despite a scare involving the Hadouken and a Backslide Pin, KUDO finally put Omega away with another combo of Buzzsaw Kicks.

HARASHIMA had a brick wall called Shigehiro Irie standing in his way. Irie hoped to beat HARASHIMA like he did Kota Ibushi and tried to end the match quickly with a barrage of Elbow Smashes. The plan didn’t work and HARASHIMA ended Irie’s chance to win the tournament. It took a few High Kicks to keep Irie off his feet but HARASHIMA was able to knock him down and then knock him out with the Somato.

Danshoku Dino was finally defeated by one of Bob Sapp’s Assassins. This time the assassin was Gaylon Summers, the American wrestler who has had a few Union appearances this year. Gaylon won with a modified version of the Choke Slam. This being a Danshoku Dino match, you can pretty much guess the modified move was a Crotch Slam. Dino was very upset after the match. His dream is to fight Bob Sapp but he cannot do it if he loses to Sapp’s assassins. Bob Sapp sent a tweet saying if Dino cannot fight him at Sumo Hall, then Gaylon Summers will take his place. Angry at the news, Dino suddenly kissed Gaylon and gave him the Danshoku Driver.

The winner of the Kyoto Royal Rumble would get to ask Tsurumi Amon for whatever they wanted. When Michael Nakazawa won the match, he asked Amon for a title shot. His request was denied for now and he was given a match for 4th June instead. If he wins, Tsurumi may give Michael what he wants.
