2. Danshoku Dino, Makoto Oishi & Azul Dragon (w/ Van Vert Jack) defeated Sanshiro Takagi, Toru Owashi & Van Vert Negro when Dino pinned Negro with the Danshoku Driver (10:10).
3. Masa Takanashi defeated Konosuke Takeshita with a Cradle (5:37).
4. KUDO defeated Tetsuya Endo by Knockout with a Back Spin Kick (10:46).
5. Kota Ibushi & Daisuke Sasaki defeated Yuto Aijima & Tomomitsu Matsunaga when Ibushi pinned Matsunaga with the Sit Down Last Ride (12:41).
6. HARASHIMA, Yasu Urano & Akito defeated Keisuke Ishii, Shigehiro Irie & Soma Takao when HARASHIMA pinned Takao with the Somato (20:08).

HARASHIMA and Keisuke Ishii had a staredown after the main event but that was interrupted by a brawl outside the ring between Yasu Urano and Shigehiro Irie. Urano tried to steal Irie’s KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Title belt again.

In a week’s time Happy Motel and Shuten-dōji will collide over the No. 1 Contendership for the KO-D Tag Team Titles. Today the two teams were split off into two singles matches. Masa Takanashi beat Konosuke Takeshita with a flash pin, teaching a valuable lesson to the youngster to never keep his guard down. Takanashi’s tag partner KUDO went to much harsher measures to defeat Tetsuya Endo, knocking him out with a Back Spin Kick. After the two matches were over, Takanashi bragged that he and KUDO are stronger and the rookies don’t look like they are the future of DDT. KUDO said he was going to drink some delicious sake to celebrate his win today.

Van Vert Jack betrayed Van Vert Negro and his team by revealing he was wearing Danshoku tights beneath his clothes. He then Hip Thrusted Negro into the corner post, leaving him vulnerable for Danshoku Dino to deliver the Danshoku Driver. Van Vert Jack is Van Vert Negro’s 9 year old son by the way.

The show also featured demonstrations from a local martial arts school that Yamashita attended when she was a child.

The first round of this year’s King Of DDT threw up some interesting results and match-ups. Antonio Honda submitted Yasu Urano and will face Shigehiro Irie in Round 2. Irie is focused on winning the tournament so he will get a Sumo Hall rematch with HARASHIMA one year after HARASHIMA won the KO-D Title from him. Tomomitsu Matsunaga earned a major upset victory over Kenny Omega. Despite gaining a lot of confidence from the win, Matsunaga’s next opponent will have the advantage. KUDO wasted no time in beating MIKAMI and will be fresh as a daisy tomorrow. Kota Ibushi and Masa Takanashi both won their matches and now their paths will meet. Ibushi doesn’t know what tactics Takanashi will have up his sleeve for their match. Isami Kodaka beat Yukio Sakaguchi and stayed at ringside to watch the main event where the winner would be his next opponent. That man turned out to be Konosuke Takeshita. The young phenom defeated Daisuke Sasaki in the longest match of the night. Afterwards Takeshita said he thinks he proved he can win the tournament.
