5. TOKYO Princess Of Princess Title: Miyu Yamashita (c) defeated Yuka Sakazaki with a Cradle (15:19).
*V2 for Miyu Yamashita.

In her second TOKYO Princess Of Princess Title defence Miyu Yamashita went up against Yuka Sakazaki. The challenger has been riding a wave of momentum heading into the match thanks to her Osaekomi Backslide. This time Yamashita had the move scouted and countered it with a Buzzsaw Kick. With that risk removed Yamashita was able to beat Sakazaki. Yamashita says she wants to fight more strong challengers so she can grow as the champion.

Hyper Misao described the 3 Way Match as a Hero Introductory Test for both Akane Miura and Yuu. She was hoping to find an “ally of justice” and declined to take part because she should not lay her super powered hands on members of the general public. It turned out to be a trick and she tried to get involved only to get knocked aside by her opponents.

The day before this show took place Erin announced she was resigning from Tokyo Joshi Pro. She has been regularly kept out of action with a foot injury. An early return from the first injury only made things worse for her. Another setback happened recently which was when she decided to quit. Erin feels heartbroken over the decision but realises that she is unable to continue wrestling. She thanked the fans for supporting her in the last two years and apologised that it had to end this way.

*Miyu Yamashita becomes the 1st Tokyo Princess Of Princess Champion!

Hours before Wrestle Kingdom took place, DDT’s joshi promotion had a show of their own nearby with their first event ever held inside Korakuen Hall. It’s also close enough to kind of count as the third anniversary of Tokyo Joshi Pro’s debut show. A lot of the roster debuted new wrestling gear for the occasion.

yamashita-wins-title

The newly named TOKYO Princess Of Princess Championship was on the line in the main event. Miyu Yamashita and Shoko Nakajima fought to become the first champion. Yamashita has been with Tokyo Joshi since the brand rebooted itself in 2013 after a failed soft launch that took place one year earlier. She had spent most of the last year trying to establish herself as the ace of the brand. Nakajima debuted six months after Yamashita. After spending the beginning of her career as a comedy wrestler she accomplished two big goals in 2014, winning the Tokyo Princess Cup and being the girl to break Saki Akai’s winning streak in the promotion. She came close to beating Yamashita with a European Clutch, 2nd Rope Senton and even her trust Northern Lights Suplex but it was not enough. Yamashita hit back with the Attitude Adjustment and Brazilian Kicks. Nakajima wouldn’t stay down until Yamashita hit the Crash Rabbit Heat to become the first champion! Yamashita admitted she was becoming jealous of Nakajima but that helped make her stronger. She is happy to have fought her in a match as special as this. She said their first show in Korakuen was a success and everyone wants to run the venue again and again until they can run bigger venues and become the biggest women’s wrestling company in Japan.

akamiya-poison

Trouble has been brewing between Saki Akamiya and Akane Miura. Saki Akai’s dark alter ego and her partner in crime Hyper Misao (is it a crime when a super hero is involved?) ended up picking a fight with Poison Sawada JULIE, causing JULIE to take Miura under his wing. Sawada and Akamiya had a confrontation on the entrance stage when the show began but Miura did not appear until it was time for their match. When she appeared she had transformed into Poison Miura! She copied Sawada’s snake magic poses, rattling noises included. Sawada used his magic to freeze Akamiya during the match. Hyper Misao tried to stop him but ultimately failed. Another snake magic spell stopped Akamiya from hitting her finisher and Miura put her down with a Rock Bottom and the Lariat. Sawada claimed victory over Akamiya and said he will remodel her. First, she will be renamed Poison Saki Akamiya!

tanaka-magic-mirror

All of a sudden the famous ring announcer Kero Tanaka entered the ring begging Sawada to stop! He knew that deep down inside Poison Sawada JULIE was the New Japan trainee he knew all those years ago, Atsuo Sawada. He then used a hand mirror to block Sawada’s spell from hitting Akamiya. Sawada stopped when he realised it was Tanaka. He warned that his goal is to transform Tokyo Joshi into Snake Joshi and then left with Miura. Tanaka told Akamiya that she cannot defeat Sawada’s snake magic in her current state and will need to undergo special training to become stronger.

kanna-shimizu

Ai Shimizu seems to have adopted a ninja gimmick if her new costume and finishing move is anything to go by.

sakazaki-candice

Yuka Sakazaki did not know anything about Candice LeRae before their match but she literally brought out the big gun for her opponent. She carried a bazooka to the ring but the referee stopped her from using it. She and LeRae fought up to the stage where LeRae placed Sakazaki onto a pallet truck and pushed her into a pile of balloons. Back in the ring LeRae grabbed the win with the Ball Plex. She praised Tokyo Joshi for their training regime and thinks it will become a bigger company. Sakazaki is convinced she would have won if she got to use the bazooka.

kobashi-debut

Erin was ready to play the grumpy veteran role for Marika Kobashi’s debut match but it backfired when Kobashi trapped her in the corner and unleashed the Machine Gun Chops! There were loud “Kobashi!” chants for that moment. Her tag partner Rika Tatsumi was able to score a rare win at the end.

masao-nonoko-mizuho

The 3 Way Match got lewd at points. Hyper Misao felt like the odd girl out when Nonoko and MIZUHO fought a battle between tits and ass. Nonoko was the last one standing when she pinned both Misao and MIZUHO at the same time.

yu-taps-onesan

The opening match could not have paired two women more different than each other. Nodoka Onesan was dressed in colourful clothing and looked like someone out of a pre-school TV show. Yuu’s entrance began with the intro theme of Terminator 2 and switched to “Ikusa” by Wagakki Band. Save for a Suplex at the beginning, Onesan was outmatched and overpowered by Yu’s Judo ability. In the post-match interview Yu pointed out Yamashita and Nakajima as the seniors she most wants to beat.

joshi-trainee-class-16

Four more trainees introduced themselves at the beginning of the show. Yuki looks up to Cherry, Maho wants to follow in Akane Miura’s footsteps (probably without the snake magic stuff), Hinako just recently discovered pro wrestling and wants to try it out and Alice wants to be both a wrestler and an idol. They each passed an audition to find new rookies.

Chikage Kiba was in attendance and joined the others in the ring during the show closing speech. She currently has no plans to return to wrestling.

2. KANNA, Nonoko & Akane Miura defeated Miyu Yamashita, Yuka Sakazaki & Azusa Takigawa when KANNA pinned Yamashita with the Spear Of Versailles (8:51).
3. Saki Akamiya & Hyper Misao defeated Erin & Rika Tatsumi when Akamiya pinned Tatsumi with the Two Stage Face Kick (8:29).
4. Right To 1/4 Tokyo Joshi Title Appearance Battle Royal: Shoko Nakajima defeated Nonoko with the Northern Lights Suplex (13:51).
Order Of Elimination: Azusa Takigawa, Hyper Misao, Rika Tatsumi, Ai Shimizu, KANNA, MIZUHO, Erin, Akane Miura, Yuka Sakazaki and Nonoko.

Shoko Nakajima is back in the 1/4 Tokyo Joshi Pro Title match after she won the main event Battle Royal. In her victory speech she said when she lost the first spot in the match she considered giving up, but she never gives up! It looks like Nakajima’s place in the match is guaranteed unlike her opponent’s.

KANNA’s resurgence in Tokyo Joshi Pro continued with a pinfall win over Miyu Yamashita in the 6-Woman Tag match. Yamashita nominated KANNA as her next opponent with the title match spot on the line. KANNA said her time spent in Biishiki-gun has taught her everything she needs to beat Yamashita.

At the beginning of the show Sanshiro Takagi called out Saki Akamiya so he could confront Tokyo Joshi’s newest evil force. Akamiya came out with Hyper Misao by her side. She called Takagi an old man and said her goal is to take over Tokyo Joshi and change it to her liking. She tried to attack Takagi with her yoyo amulet but Takagi caught it. He struck Akamiya’s iron mask with the yoyo, splitting it in half. The iron mask fell apart and Akamiya was revealed to be Saki Akai! She said this was the first time she ever felt the wind touch her cheeks. Hyper Misao told Takagi that Saki Akamiya is not the same person as Saki Akai. Takagi kicked her away and said he doesn’t believe it. Misao insisted she was telling the truth and promised Takagi that they will protect Tokyo Joshi from any mighty enemy. Misao handed Akamiya a pair of leather gloves to signify their new alliance. Later in the show they defeated Erin & Rika Tatsumi. Akamiya said she is still a villain who exploits people’s weaknesses. Takagi also gave Misao an apple and some marbles for some reason before kicking her again.

syoko-pins-akai

There was a big upset in the main event when Shoko Nakajima pinned Saki Akai. The Tokyo Princess Cup winner is the first person to beat Akai in Tokyo Joshi Pro but it was a difficult task none the less. Akai was in control for most of the match and Nakajima was only able to do her Northern Lights Suplex out of desperation for a two count. Victory came for Nakajima when she countered a Lariat into a Cradle. Saki Akai was so shocked by losing that she fainted. Her Biishiki-gun servants were also left speechless by the result. Nakajima meanwhile was filled with emotion over the victory. She told her story of moving to Tokyo when she was 19 years old. She wanted to become a comedian but her attempts ended in failure and she decided to quit. That was when she discovered wrestling and chose Tokyo Joshi as a place to escape to. Since then she’s been having fun everyday and learned to never give up no matter what. She thanked the audience for their support. It was their cheers that kept her together when things looked bleak. She said maybe she is still weak on her own but with Tokyo Joshi they can both grow bigger and bigger together.

erin-comeback

Erin was back in action for the first time since June the arm she fractured was targeted in her return match. Yuka Sakazaki also got involved in a lot of shenanigans like blowing a whistle in Akane Miura’s ear to break up a submission hold and having a quiz against Rika Tatsumi to determine who knows Erin best. When the quiz ended Erin put Tatsumi in her new Jiaozi Lock submission while Miura tapped out Sakazaki with the Sickle Lock.

azusa-takigawa

Tokyo Joshi’s newest wrestler is now named Azusa Takigawa. She lost to Miyu Yamashita in her debut match but is eager to continue wrestling while also attempting to be a reporter on television. After the match Takigawa said she wants to show the same vigor and power that she sees whenever she watches pro wrestling.

oppai-squash

Ai Shimizu was able to render Nonoko unconscious with a modified Camel Clutch, grasping her arms around Nonoko’s big chest and squeezing as hard as she could.

hypermisao-newsuit

The opening match was between two women who teamed together in their debut back in February. For the occassion Hyper Misao wrestled in a new superhero costume that she claims can absorb 95% of her opponent’s attacks. She also wrote a letter for MIZUHO to tell her how much she means to her but her attempts to read it made her cry. However, Misao also warned that this was a big match and her new costume is too powerful for a small fish like MIZUHO. The match happened and it turned out the new super suit wasn’t as powerful as Misao thought it was. MIZUHO was able to beat Misao earn her first pro wrestling victory.

tjp-takagi

Sanshiro Takagi appeared at the end of the show to announce that Tokyo Joshi will soon arrive in the “holy land”. The brand will hold its first show in Korakuen Hall on 4th January, 2016! Takagi said Tokyo Joshi was able to fill up Shinjuku FACE twice and he now wants the brand to fill up Korakuen Hall two, three or even four times! He also mentioned the show will take place at noon so it won’t clash with Wrestle Kingdom 10 next door. He hopes instead that fans both local and worldwide attending the Tokyo Dome that day will be even a little bit interested in giving Tokyo Joshi a shot.

MIZUHO was pulled from the show due to suffering from a high fever. Her planned 3 Way match became just a singles between Nonoko and Rika Tatsumi.

3. Miyu Yamashita defeated Yuka Sakazaki with the Crash Rabbit Heat (8:17).
4. Saki Akai & Ai Shimizu defeated Erin & Akane Miura when Akai pinned Erin with the Rookie Award (10:42).

Saki Akai had some more insults prepared for the Tokyo Joshi Pro roster. She said Garlic Pork would be a good team name for Erin & Akane Miura because Erin looked like garlic and Miura looked like a pig. After the main event Akai dared Erin to challenge her again when she becomes more beautiful.

Yuka Sakazaki targeted Miyu Yamashita’s jaw in their match, believing it to be her weak spot. When she took control she place a large rubber band in her mouth, stretched it out of the ring and then released it so it would snap Yamashita in the face. However Yamashita countered Yakazaki’s Magical Girl Jump and hit the Crash Rabbit Heat for the win.

Ririko Kendo announced she is being renamed and will now be called Rika Tatsumi. Rika is part of her real name and Tatsumi comes from Tatsumi Fujinami. She has also developed a new move inspired by her new name and she aims to use it in her return match.

Hyper Misao was again unmasked in her match. Despite losing to KANNA, Misao thinks she is just going through a rebellious phase on her journey to becoming a hero.

The first round draw for this year’s Tokyo Princess Cup took place at the end of the show. The matches are Erin Vs KANNA, Miyu Yamashita Vs Yuka Sakazaki, Shoko Nakajima Vs Nonoko and Ai Shimizu Vs Akane Miura.

The Hero-gun’s attempt at juctice ended in failure. Hyper Misao convinced Erin to put on the cape and mask to fight Biishiki-gun. Saki Akai said both of them looked like burglars so it was up to herself and KANNA to dispense some “cute justice” of their own. They unmasked both Misao and Erin during the match and KANNA pinned Misao with the Spear Of Versailles. Misao admitted she was a bad partner for Erin but felt KANNA still had justice in her heart. Misao challenged KANNA to a singles match at the next show. Erin then challenged Akai and Ai Shimizu to a tag team match. This time she has a better partner, Akane Miura! The big girl is confident in her abilities after beating Miyu Yamashita in the semi-main event.

2. Miyu Yamashita & Erin defeated Nonoko & Yuka Sakazaki when Yamashita pined Sakazaki with the Crash Rabbit Heat.

The matches took place on a mat outdoors during the Oyaketsu Festival. Since many of the people watching were not wrestling fans, Shoko Nakajima and Yuka Sakazaki explained the rules of pro wrestling before the matches began and also encouraged the audience to cheer for the girls involved.

Much like when DDT holds matches outdoors, the main event saw everyone bring the fight away from the designated area. Nonoko and Sakazaki even brought back some frankfurters to eat while they fought Miyu Yamashita & Erin. At one point a little boy got involved in the match by trying to attack Sakazaki! Yamshita pinned Sakazaki to win the match for her team. Afterwards the little boy jumped on Sakazaki to pin her and the rest of the girls counted to three. Afterwards they joked that when the boy grows up he will be known as “the man who pinned Yuka Sakazaki”.
