Last time on Ganbare☆Wrestling, Batten Tamagawa turned on Ken Ohka and sided with the invaders Osamu Namiguchi and Kazuhiko Ogasawara, changing his name to Bad Tension TAMAGAWA in the process. Ken Ohka and Yumehito Imanari get their first shot at revenge with a 6-Man Elimination Tag match that main events Ganpuro’s first Shin-Kiba show. However the Ganpuro team needs a third member. Tomohiro Otani volunteered to team with Ohka and Imanari but they aren’t too sure. Ohka decided to give Imanari an important challenge to prove he is strong and tough. He will put Otani through special training on the day of the show so he can teach him his Spear of Flame finisher. If Otani can pass the challenge and learn the move, he will be added to the team.

Ganbare☆Wrestling wants new wrestlers and they don’t mind who they are. Ken Ohka has opened up spots in the roster for new wrestlers no matter what their gender, wrestling experience and profession are. Ganpuro opened up a mixi website for applications and they will choose people to wrestle at the show.

Union celebrates its 8th Anniversary with a one day tournament between the main members of the roster. Meanwhile Idea Pocket continues its sponsorship with wrestlers fighting each other over the Idea Pocket idols. Mio Shirai wants to continue having the idols working exclusively for her. Menso~re Oyaji isn’t really interested in competing and would be happy with any resolution that involves him having a date with at least one of the idols. Mitomi Masayuki recently entered the contest and is desperate to win the heart of any woman involved. Mr. Nagata (no not Yuji!), a producer for Idea Pocket gets to decide who will be in Masayuki’s corner for the match.

Dragon Gate’s Masaaki Mochizuki makes his Hard Hit debut to take on Yukio Sakaguchi.

Koji Iwamoto from Sportiva Entertainment is also a student of judo. He asked to enter Hard Hit and not to be paired with a joke fighter. Super Tiger is his opponent and he is to be taken seriously. Why? Because a lot of the Hard Hit roster thinks he is very dangerous and don’t want to get hurt by him.

Poai Suganuma is a graduate from the BJ Penn MMA Academy. He faced and defeated Hikaru Sato in his Pancrase debut back in 2005. He is not familiar with the Hard Hit ruleset but Sato believes he is a strong fighter.

Hikaru Sato, Yasu Kubota and Tiger Shark will be fighting on the card.

3. HARASHIMA (1D/0E/0P) defeated Ryuichi Sekine (1D/2E/0P) by TKO (8:18)
4. Hard Hit Experiment – HARASHIMA Ultimate Royal: Yukio Kubota defeated Hoshitango, Tetsuya Endo and Tadaware (10:40).
4a. Yukio Kubota eliminated Hoshitango with an Ankle Hold (2:28).
4b. Tetsuya Endo eliminated Tadaware with a Jumping Knee (3:50).
4c. Yukio Kubota eliminated Tetsuya Endo with a Front Neck Lock (10:40).
5. Hikaru Sato (2D/2E/0P) Vs Yukio Sakaguchi (2D/2E/0P) ended in a 4-4 Time Limit Draw (15:00).

The KO-D Tag Team Champions fought to a stalemate in the main event. Hikaru Sato and Yukio Sakaguchi went through 15 minutes battling each other in a match that would have fit in with UWF no problem.

Yukio Kubota won a future Hard Hit fight against HARASHIMA by beating Tetsuya Endo, Hoshitango and Tadaware in the Battle Royal.

Michael Nakazawa was allowed to change the rules in his favour to give him a chance against Tanomusaku Toba. In Round 1 Nakazawa banned Toba from using his boxing gloves because they were too dangerous. He also allowed himself to cover his body in oil. The plan backfired when he couldn’t apply any submissions on Toba because they both became too slippery. In Round 2 Michael ordered Toba to give him his training bag containing supplement pills and a bottle of tequila. In Round 3 a knockdown only counted when the dominant fighter drank the bottle of tequila. Toba convinced Nakazawa to just fight under normal wrestling rules for Round 4 and he was able to beat him.

HARASHIMA’s Beer Fight plans are usually just playing it straight. Matches himself with a worthy opponent while giving the younger wrestlers a chance to size up with the veterans. Don’t know about the others though. KUDO and Yasu Urano fought each other one year in a match where instead of three counts, you had to drink a full glass of beer while pinning your opponent in order to win.

White Eyebrow Ma Liang wrestles in Japan for the first time since 2007. Back then he represented Big China Wrestling. Not sure what he’s been up to since then, maybe formed a Union of some sort.

Don’t care if I made a mistake with the translation. Match #1 is possibly the greatest match name I have ever written on this site. And this is Goku the monkey warrior, not the guy from Dragon Ball Z.

The stipulation for the DDT Extreme Title match has been decided. Isami Kodaka won the Extreme Title in a Tonkaichi, Ladders & Chairs Match against El Generico over a year ago. He wanted to face Kenny in the same match but with tables instead of the giant hammer. However since Kenny is a Street Fighter, a Falls Count Anywhere rule is now added to the match. Isami revealed he has learned the Kamehameha to counter Kenny’s Hadouken. He thinks the Hadouken has a fatal weakness that the Kamehameha does not possess. The ladder Isami wants to use is claimed to be 1.5 times higher than the type he usually uses in matches. It is a ladder high enough to poke the heavens.

The Nazo Fukumen group believe their token female member will win the Fly To Everywhere Title and they compared it to the Battle of Sekigahara, a decisive battle that was fought in 1600. The Triple Threat match will be first fall to a finish.

Choun-Shiryu demonstrated a weakness of the recently converted Chinese vampire SAGAT. When Shiryu sticks a mystical sealing ward onto SAGAT’s forehead, the vampire freezes on the spot. Now knowing that he can render one of his opponents useless, it will make his mission to transform Ryu Gouma into a vampire easier. China has many problems right now so Shiryu wants to have a lawyer under his control if anything goes wrong. That’s why he wants to turn Gouma into a vampire.

Seiya Morohashi, who was forced to withdraw from Union after losing a Mask Contra Withdraw match at the last show has been begging for his job back. He might be added to the dark match.

Union continues their partnership with Idea Pocket by introducing a new championship created by the AV company. The first Aipoke World Champion will be decided in a 4 Way match between FUMA, Sanshiro Takagi, Jun Kasai and Hiroshi Fukuda who returns from exile after his Loser Leaves Town defeat last month. Fukuda’s box office success with Ultimate Superstars Action convinced Naomi Susan to give him a second chance and bring him back to Union just for this match.

There is also a deluxe prize for the champion. He will win a date with Idea Pocket idol Aino Kishi.

Street Wrestling Match: Kazuyoshi Sakai, Danshoku Dino & Makoto Oishi Vs Sanshiro Takagi’s Elite Street Troops

DDT returns to the factory in Miyaji for another bout of street wrestling and this time they are bringing Kazuyoshi Sakai with them. Sakai was a part time wrestler for MUSCLE between 2005 and 2010. He mostly wrestled as a Razor Ramon HG parody during his time there. He has since returned for one more match at last year’s “BUDOKAN PETER PAN” show. Sanshiro Takagi is bringing together an elite team of street wrestlers to take on Sakai, Danshoku Dino & Makoto Oishi. I will be shocked if one of those elite wrestlers is not Kota Ibushi.
