4. Special 6-Man Tag Match: HARASHIMA, Mizuki Watase & Keisuke Ishii defeated Shuichiro Katsumura, Tsuyoshi Okada & Tyson Maeguchi when HARASHIMA pinned Okada with the Somato (16:08).

The second show of today’s Ganbare☆Pro tripleshot was all put together by Shuichiro Katsumura. It was a tiring event for him because he ended up wrestling in four matches of some sort. In the main event he did what he could with the energy he had left. He did well enough to put HARASHIMA in the Ninja Choke but that got broken up. Tsuyoshi Okada tagged in but found himself on the receiving end of the entire opposition’s attacks. It ended with HARASHIMA pinning Okada with the Somato. Katsumura said there are still eleven months left in the year so his goal is to have singles matches against HARASHIMA, Mizuki Watase & Keisuke Ishii by the end this year! He also said backstage he wants to produce three more GanPro shows this year so the stage is set for his goal to be completed.

The GanPro debut of former Pancrase fighter Takuya Wada was an odd one. His opponent was revealed to be Hong Kong International Policeman (Choun-Shiryu). Wada did not know who he was. When Policeman began introducing himself to everyone, Wada quickly put him in a Sleeper Hold and won the match in under 30 seconds. The match restarted and this time Policeman bribed the referee with 20,000 yen to tilt the match in his favour. America International Policeman (Shota) then walked to the ring with Wada’s phone and threatened to destroy it. Wada pleaded at him to stop and agreed to let Hong Kong Policeman bind his hands together with a wire. However Wada waited for an opening and attacked both his opponent and the referee despite having his hands tied together. He found a way to put Hong Kong Policeman in a Crossface and Policeman gave up. Wada thought his first GanPro experience was amazing and he’d be happy to come back here again.

The first match of the event was a series of grappling bouts between Katsumura and three opponents. Everyone involved took part wearing their own grappling gear of some sort. Katsumura was able to submit both Munetatsu Nakamura and HARUKAZE in his first two matches. The third was against an unannounced opponent and it was revealed to be HARASHIMA! Their match went to a five minute draw with both of them fighting over Heel Hooks in the final moments.

4. “Lion King” Ken Ohka 44 Year Old Commemorative Match ~44 Year Old Lions~: Brahman Shu & Brahman Kei defeated Ken Ohka & Minoru Fujita when Kei pinned Ohka after Fujita hit Ohka with a suitcase (12:00).

He wasn’t able to win the Spirit Of Ganbare Title earlier today but Ken Ohka was still in the party mood for the big match of this show. He wanted to celebrate being 44 years old with other wrestlers his age like Minoru Fujita and The Brahman Brothers went pear-shaped when Ohka and Fujita fought over who should use the Brahman’s suitcase as a weapon. Fujita got fed up and threw the suitcase right in Ohka’s face! The Brahmans pinned Ohka and Fujita stormed off with them. Ohka wasn’t upset though. He is still loving life at age 44. When told the fans when he turns 45 he wants to invite John Cena or Brock Lesnar over to Itabashi for a singles match!

The Battle Royal came down to HARUKAZE and Mizuki Watase fighting each other over the ropes and ring apron. Both of them fell down to the floor but HARUKAZE went through the middle ropes and was therefore never eliminated. That resulted in her winning the match and the cash prize of 100,000 yen! The rest of the participants chased her out of the ring all wanting the money for themselves.

Yuna Manase wasn’t there for the opening match and was replaced by the similar looking Hong Kong International Women’s Police Man. She arrested Hong Kong International Police Man after beating him and led him out of the ring in handcuffs.

5. Ganjo Three Special Singles Match: Yuna Manase defeated Yuu Yamagata with the Suzuki Dynamic (12:41).

All year long Yuna Manase has been searching for a win against Yuu Yamagata. It has been the one story that had been built around Ganbare☆Joshi since its reboot. Today was the day it finally happened! Lariats and hitting the Suzuki Dynamic twice were what Manase needed to do to win. Afterwards a defeated Yamagata declared she was withdrawing from Ganjo. She finally lost like Manase wanted and saw no reason to sick around. But Manase stopped her and said Yamagata was the one main eventing Ganjo all year. She is Ganjo more than anyone else! Manase welcomed Yamagata to stay and the two sang “Tonbo” together. Backstage Manase told reporters that her goal this year was not to leave a mark but to produce results. She achieved her goal of beating Yamagata and proved that if you never give up, your dreams can come true. Manase also asks if there is anybody out there looking to join Ganpro to send her a DM. She knows the joshi scene is undergoing tremendous upheaval right now and Ganjo is looking to find new friends.

There were some arguments over the Secret Captain’s Fall Elimination rules before that match began. The two teams chose their captains by writing them on pieces of paper and handing them over to the ring announcer. Shota said that while it is a thrilling rule it is also unfair and he would prefer if everyone knew who the captains were before the match starts. Ken Ohka shrugged away the complaints which led to Shota thinking he was the captain. He was proven wrong when Ohka was eliminated first and the ring announcer revealed he was not the captain. Keisuke Ishii and he wasn’t the captain either which meant Mizuki Watase was meant to be the target all along. Watase pulled off a come from behind victory by eliminating Soma Takao and then pinning Shota, who was the captain for his team all along.

Watase celebrated the victory by declaring he is now part of Ganbare☆Pro and won his first match with the promotion. He then announced that on the 10th January tripleheader he wants to revive RENEGADES with Shigehiro Irie and main event one of the shows. Ohka said it isn’t up to Irie to make that decision. They’re in Ganpro so it is Ohka who decides and he approves of a RENEGADES revival! Watase later revealed he will DM the other members Sammy Guevara and Jason Kincaid to come over when the pandemic ends.

Moeka Haruhi had a lot of fun wrestling HARUKAZE because it was a long time since their last singles match together. However Haruhi is concerned over the path HARUKAZE took over the last few months to get stronger. It must be hard for her but Haruhi felt her persistence in the ring and never saw her as being weak. She is clumsy but does her best and lives life to the fullest. A tearful HARUKAZE said she was the very first person to join the Ganjo division but once others joined was instantly the weakest member among them. She tried not to show her depression but Haruhi was always there for her and she is grateful for it. From now on she is going to stop calling herself weak. The two promised to continue working hard for Ganjo, hugged and then bowed to each other.

Today’s show gets to play a little part in the wider story of Actwres girl’Z going away and Color’s coming out of it. Hikari Shimizu & Rina Amikura both did the “We are Color’s” pose during their tag match. Miku Aono & Aoi Natsu got the better of them in the end and won the match.

YuuRI is now zero for three in her trial series after losing to the Color’s leader SAKI. Ohka gave YuuRI advice after the match, telling her never to forget the regret she feels for losing. He then told her the 4th match in her trial is against Hong Kong International Police Man. YuuRI doesn’t know who that is but promised to win against him. SAKI was more a little more harsh with her advice for YuuRI. She said YuuRI should not be making excuses in order to work hard and she also should not give herself the excuse that all she needs to do is work hard.

2. 3 Way Match: Hong Kong Domestic Ladies Police Man defeated Hong Kong International Ladies Police Man and Hong Kong International Undercover Mafia when Domestic Ladies Police Man pinned Undercover Mafia with the Spear (8:07).
3. Ganbare☆Pro Wrestling Offer Match: Keisuke Ishii defeated Shinichiro Tominaga with the Tiger Suplex (10:55).
4. Texas Tornado Street Fight Special Mixed Tag Match: Miss Mongol & Yumehito Imanari defeated Cherry & Shota when Mongol pinned Cherry with the Diving Senton onto a chair (13:02).
5. Ganjo Special Tag Match: Yuu Yamagata & HARUKAZE defeated Yuna Manase & Moeka Haruhi when HARUKAZE pinned Manase with the Fire Spear (11:57).

There was good moments and bad moments for Yuna Manase on today’s Ganbare☆Joshi show. The bad moment was losing to HARUKAZE in the main event. Yuu Yamagata cut down Manase with a Buzzsaw Kick and HARUKAZE finished her off with the Fire Spear. This is the first time HARUKAZE has beaten Manase. Yamagata rubbed the result in Manase’s face and said Ganjo only became interesting when she showed up. Yamagata isn’t the wrestler she used to be but she isn’t ever going to let Manase beat her! Moeka Haruhi had to motivate Manase to do her best because that is what Ganbare means. Manase agreed and promised to get stronger, beat Yamagata and return HARUKAZE to Ganjo!

The good news for Manase and Ganjo happened at the start of the show. Manase’s opening speech was interrupted when suddenly YuuRI entered the ring. The former JUST TAP OUT wrestler surprised everyone even further when she announced that as of today she is now signed to Ganbare☆Pro! Manase didn’t know about this but is happy to have a new companion in Ganjo. They agreed to an impromptu match which Manase won. She told YuuRI afterwards to never give up on Ganbare☆Joshi. Backstage YuuRI explained why she signed with Ganpro instead of another company that fans were expecting she would go to. She is the only woman in Ganpro who is under 30 and she wants to freshen up the promotion while also showing her strength.

Both Makoto and Itsuki Aoki were unable to be at the show so they were replaced with Hong Kong Domestic Ladies Police Man and Hong Kong International Ladies Police Man. The Hong Kong International Police Man that was replacing Choun-Shiryu turned out to be crooked. His true identity is Hong Kong International Undercover Mafia. He may have attempted a hit on Ken Ohka. He definitely paid off the referee in a failed attempt to win.

The name of the show isn’t just there to sound cool. The Dramatic Survivor Unit tournament was revealed to be a reverse bracket where the losing teams advance to the final. Win a match and your team is safe, lose all your matches and your unit must split up! Sanshiro Takagi came up with the idea to avoid DDT getting stale. He wants all the teams to fight for survival and there is no bigger motivation than the survival of your unit! To make things even more riskier, if a champion team is in the disbanding unit they will be forced to vacate their titles too! So if The 37KAMIINA lose and splits up they vacate the KO-D Tag Team Titles. If DAMNATION lose and splits up they vacate the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles. For Junretsu and DISASTER BOX there will be no championships stripped.

Back at the Beer Garden shows Danshoku Dieno and Yuki Iino appealed to form a tag team. Their request wasn’t met because they couldn’t come up with a suitable or tasteful team name. Well today they have their team name and also nicknames to match. From now on Danshoku “Dandy” Dieno & Yuki “Sexy” Iino are Pheromones! They immediately challenged Konosuke Takeshita & Shunma Katsumata for the KO-D Tag Titles and got their shot so they would stop annoying the champions.

If the KO-D Tag Titles happen to be vacated because The 37KAMIINA lose the Dramatic Survivor tournament, then the match will be changed into a decision bout to determine the new champions. So at least Takeshita & Katsumata have a chance to reclaim the belts after they are forced to give them up.

The new KO-D Openweight Champion Takeshita took some time to reflect on his latest accomplishment. After finally beating Jun Akiyama, the KO-D Title belt now has a different weight to it and Takeshita feels a different responsibility when it comes to defending it. He is in his best condition because of this pressure and is ready to take on Chris Brookes. He hasn’t beaten Brookes since July 2019 when he defended the KO-D Title against him back then. Brookes has won every singles match they’ve had together since then, which were either championship or tournament matches.

Masahiro Takanashi has become active again since coming back from injury. Not in the ring though because ChocoPro doesn’t have one. He wrestles his first match in DDT since March 2020.

After stealing the belt multiple times over the last month, Daisuke Sasaki in now officially the DDT Universal Champion. His first title defence will be on 12th October and he has the right to choose his challenger. He chose CM Punk but DDT cannot make that happen for multiple reasons. Sasaki then picked Minoru Fujita as his back-up choice. Fujita beat Sasaki at July’s DAMNATION produced show so Sasaki wants to avenge that loss. The match is not official yet but DDT will send the challenge over to Fujita.

Now more than ever Yumehito Imanari has become confident and comfortable as a pro wrestler. He’s had doubts over the last few years but now he has the chance to become the Independent World Jr. Heavyweight Champion! He knows Keisuke Ishii will give him a battering on 24th February but Imanari is crazy enough to think he can still beat him. When he becomes the champ he will make Ganbare☆Wrestling even more unusual with his ideas. Ishii attacked Imanari after the show and gave him a Fisherman Buster in the ring.

The home team of Ishii & Kouki Iwasaki were so close to getting a victory over Enfants Terribles. They worked over Yusuke Kodama but when Iwasaki turned his attention to keeping Kuma Arashi out of the ring, Kodaka pinned him with a flash Frankensteiner.

Buffalo kept apologizing to Shota for giving up. Shota let slip Buffalo’s real name “Yamada” while he complained to him.

Everybody was replaced in the 3 Way Match. Choun-Shiryu was replaced by Hong Kong International Police Man. Moeka Haruhi was replaced by Hong Kong International Women Police Man. HARUKAZE was supposed to be replaced by Hong Kong Domestic Police Man but his plane was delayed so Hong Kong International University Attached Female High School Student wrestled in their place instead. The fans chanted “Kokusai” (International) during the match. The police wrestlers tried to arrest everyone involved in the match including the referee. Hong Kong International Police Man ended up getting arrested at the end when the other two pinned him.

URRC stands for Ultimate Reverse RIZAP Championship and is inspired by the RIZAP exercise program. The URRC was created by Yumehito Imanari to cheer on female wrestlers who are not confident in the ring. Imanari used Wikipedia to look up the weight and height of each joshi wrestler competing in the match. He then seperated each woman into a different weight class. Aoi Ishibashi (160cm/62kg) is a Welterweight, Manami Koda (152cm/62kg) is a Cruiserweight, Hamuko Hoshi (161cm/60kg) is a Middleweight and Kurumi (150cm/60kg) is a Heavyweight. How this is supposed to make them feel better, I don’t know.

Hong Kong International Police Man has suffered a neck injury and will not be able to wrestle on the show. He might not even appear at all because of it.
