6. Sparky Vs Sento Minzoku!: Ryota Nakatsu & Akiyori Takizawa defeated Isami Kodaka & Daiki Shimomura when Nakatsu pinned Shimomura with the V Slider (17:55).

Isami Kodaka commended his partner Daiki Shimomura for improving so much and evolving as a wrestler. He also praised Ryota Nakatsu for defending the Union MAX Title three times. Kodaka thought things went so bad for Sento Minzoku today that it was time to leave the ring for Sparky to celebrate. However Nakatsu stopped him and said he wants his next title defence to be against Kodaka! BASARA is returning to Korakuen Hall on 21st March so they decided that is the perfect time to have the match.

Moments after Yusuke Kubo won his match against Ryuichi Sekine, he was attacked by Jun Masaoka! Just like last time Masaoka tried to unmask Kubo. He was stopped by the other members of the Iron Family. Kubo challenged Masaoka to a match on 26th February. Kubo will have turned 32 years old by the match takes place so he warned Masaoka that he will have powered up by one!

The Best Stretch store has been saved! A three match series between the Best Stretchmen and the Iron Family was tied going into the final match. Stretchman Man defeated SAGAT then FUMA beat Best Stretchman Amazon. In the deciding bout Best Stretchman V3 went up against Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi. During the match Stretchman’s hood slipped off leading Hiroshi to point out it is really Daichi Kazato under the costume. V3 kicked out of the Riki Lariat and removed his hood again before hitting an Axe Bomber to win the match. The Best Stretchmen celebrated until V3/Kazato called to Hiroshi. As they were fighting he realised that stretching and yoga go along with each other perfectly. The Best Stretch store has some empty slots in its schedule so he made an offer for Hiroshi to teach yoga classes there in his spare time.

6. Union MAX Title: Ryota Nakatsu (c) defeated Fuminori Abe with the V Slider (16:57).
*V3 for Ryota Nakatsu.

Ryota Nakatsu stands tall after his third Union MAX Title defence. His battle plan for Fuminori Abe was to combat his submission holds with German Suplexes and Buzzsaw Kicks until he could hit the V Slider to win. He didn’t expect to be punched in the face so hard but he has no bad feelings towards Abe over it. Abe said that three years ago they had a match together that he lost. He lost again today but he got more in against Nakatsu this time. Both Nakatsu and Abe praised each other and before Abe left he said he will beat Nakatsu within a year so Nakatsu better be prepared.

Isami Kodaka pinned Akiyori Takizawa with a Cradle thanks to Minoru Fujita giving Takizawa an Enzuigiri from the ring apron as he ran the ropes.

FUMA set up a trap to get the advantage on Takumi Tsukamoto. When it was time for FUMA’s entrance, SAGAT came out instead. While Tsukamoto argued with him, FUMA snuck into the ring and attacked Tsukamoto from behind with a chair. SAGAT stuck around to hit Tsukamoto with a Lariat while FUMA distracted the referee. More chairs were used until the steel cans were brought out. It was all going well for FUMA until he missed the Heavy Metal Anthem, crashing onto the chairs after Tsukamoto rolled out of the way. Tsukamoto hit FUMA with the cans and won with the Running Zudon. The two glared at each other after the match without either saying a word.

The ownership rights of the Best Stretch store was on the line in Match #3. Best Stretchman V3 tried to cancel the stipulation because the store is run independently from DDT but the match went ahead. For the second show in a row Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi channelled Riki Choshu to do the Lariat and the Scorpion Deathlock on V3 to win the match. V3 protested by saying he didn’t give up (he did) then demanded a 3 Vs 1 Handicap Match next month. Hiroshi agreed and picked FUMA & SAGAT as his partners. Stretchman Man instead demanded a three match series on the next show. They all agreed to the following three matches: Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi Vs Stretchman Man, FUMA Vs Best Stretchman Amazon and Best Stretchman V3 Vs FUMA. Whichever side wins the most gets the Best Stretch store!

Things got very heated between Yusuke Kubo and Jun Masaoka during their match. Masaoka targets Kubo’s mask by untying the strings. Then when the match was at its peak, Masaoka grabbed Kubo by the mask and pulled it off! The referee called for a disqualification. Masaoka didn’t care and hit the unmasked Kubo with a Thrust Kick while Kubo was trying to cover his face. Kubo returned fire and gave Masaoka a Back Drop. The two had to be pulled apart by their tag partners but Masaoka had the last say by holding up Kubo’s mask.

6. BASARA World’s Three Big Singles Match ~FUMA FEST extra track~: HUB defeated FUMA with the Snake Knife Package Hold (19:14).

After the main event HUB told FUMA it’s been a long time since they first met in Okinawa Pro around 6 or 7 years ago. Today was HUB’s first match in a month because he was recovering from an injury. He was afraid to wrestle today because he didn’t trust his relationship with FUMA. He is delighted to be proven wrong and he thanked FUMA and BASARA for the match today. FUMA called the result a perfect defeat for him. His goal for a long time was to be good enough to beat HUB and he is now more motivated than ever to achieve it. HUB encouraged FUMA to continue on as the leader of the Iron Family. FUMA promoted the next “FUMA FEST” to the Osaka crowd and apologised to them that the only show of the “tour” is in Tokyo. He brought up the idea of bringing “FUMA FEST” to Osaka next year.

The Sento Minzoku team told Ryota Nakatsu he has to keep leading BASARA as the Union MAX Champion while Isami Kodaka is absent. They warned him it’s a big challenge and he should be able to take it. Sento Minzoku then attacked Nakatsu & Akiyori Takizawa until Naoki Tanizaki surprised everyone by coming to the rescue. Sento Minzoku fled and Nakatsu accepted their challenge. He wants BASARA’s strongest to join together. He knows this is sudden but Nakatsu asked Tanizaki to join his sider. Nakatsu accepted and we now have a new unit. Ryota Nakatsu, Naoki Tanizaki and Akiyori Takizawa will fight for BASARA against Sento Minzoku, the Iron Family, the Best Stretch wrestlers and so on!

Jun Masaoka is starting to win more and more in his BASARA appearances. This time he got the pin on Yusuke Kubo and that got under the masked man’s skin. Kubo attacked Masaoka after their tag match and the two had to be pulled apart.

Tanizaki played along with Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi’s yoga antics. It went to the point where Tanizaki worked as a base for Hiroshi’s stretches. Hiroshi ended up putting himself in position for Tanizaki to drop him with the Implant.

5. Naoki Tanizaki & Akiyori Takizawa defeated Ryota Nakatsu & Takato Nakano when Tanizaki pinned Nakano with the Reverse Implant (13:39).
6. Doki! Hardcore Match Full Of Cans: Isami Kodaka defeated FUMA with the Isamuashi Zan (16:21).

Isami Kodaka was left bloodied but victorious over FUMA in their Hardcore match main event. Steel cans made up most of the weapons available but chairs and a ladder also came into play in a painful manner for both men. FUMA gave Kodaka a Brainbuster from the ladder onto a pile of cans. Later the ladder was bridged across two chairs and FUMA was given a Superplex onto it. Kodaka overwhelmed FUMA with his kicks and knee strikes until the Isamuashi Zan put FUMA away. Kodaka asked for a rematch afterwards. No matter how many times they fight each other, Kodaka always feels a new excitement over it. Kodaka ended the show by inviting the BASARA roster into the ring to hype up their next big show at Korakuen Hall on 21st September. Kodaka also talked about his upcoming trip to America for a death match tournament held by Game Changer Wrestling. He promised to win it and become the world’s best death match wrestler!

Ryota Nakatsu admitted he was disappointed with today’s performance when his team lost to Naoki Tanizaki’s side. Tanizaki added insult to injury after the match when he attacked Tanizaki and gave him the Implant. That made Nakatsu angry and more determined to take the Union MAX Title from Tanizaki at Korakuen.

Match #4 turned playful when Ikuto Hidaka ended up sitting on Minoru Fujita’s shoulders. That then encouraged Fuminori Abe to climb onto Ryuichi Sekine’s shoulders so the two teams could play a game of chicken in the ring. Cavalry were able to knock Hidaka off Fujita’s shoulders. The play time ended when Fujita gave Sekine a Low Blow. When Abe fell off, Fujita rolled him into a Samson Clutch for the three count.

Daiki Shimomura used a new arm assisted cradle move called the Orange Sunset to beat Jun Masaoka and win the Benmaru Tournament. Shimomura called Kodaka down to the ring afterwards to confirm there was no prize on the line. Kodaka admitted so. Kodaka then invited Masaoka to wrestle for BASARA on a regular basis including a rematch with Shimomura somewhere down the line. Masaoka nodded in acceptance. Shimomura was content with there being no prize because he has something else he wants. Shimomura wants to team up with Kodaka and form a unit together! The Korakuen card has already been determined so the new unit will have to be formed afterwards. Kodaka then told Shimomura he has to grow a tail until then. If he’s going to do his best to impress Kodaka then Shimomura needs to have a monkey tail growing out of him!

The match between Gouma Ryu and Stretchman Man went off to a bad start when Ryu asked for the match to be changed to a Pro Wrestling Trial. When that was declined, Stretchman pushed Ryu up against the ropes and refused to move away during the 5 count so he got disqualified. An immediate rematch was agreed upon. Stretchman complained to Yuya Okada for counting too slow for his pins. Okada denied such a thing then counted fast when Ryu gave Stretchman a School Boy. Okada later took a ref bump which allowed Stretchman to grab his hook and Ryu to grab his law book. When Okada got back up, Ryu and Stretchman threw their weapons at each other and both faked being attacked by the other. Okada fell for both tricks and disqualified the two of them resulting in no winner. Stretchman demanded a rematch for next time and Ryu told him it will be settled in court!
